***Thank you for your response but I stand by my review. That was not how the phone conversation went. Whomever that I was on the phone with, was not helpful and actually used the words, “We do not discriminate against our therapists.” Implying that due to my request for a female therapist, I was being discriminatory. The person was the one that used that terminology during our call. Extremely off-putting and there is no other way I could have taken that conversation but to feel like I was being judged. If that was not the message they wanted to convey then perhaps don’t use that word at all as a response when I asked if I can see whether or not I am booking a female or male therapist when using your online booking service. Simply saying, “No, it does not offer that information.” Would have been more than sufficient of an answer to my question. ————————————————————————- Maybe don’t accuse potential customers for discrimination when they request a female therapist. You have no idea what the reasons are for them being more comfortable with a female therapist versus a male therapist. Ever think it could be related to trauma and harassment??? Based on the booking phone call alone, I will not be giving you my business.

It took a few days of rest to regain the muscular form because I felt like I had been training for 8 hours. Following this, several residual pain in the shoulders and legs had disappeared. I can compare this style of massage to acupuncture and osteopathy but even more effective. I highly recommend Vivian for his skill. I've had many different types of massage before, but this was my first experience with Thai massage. As an athlete, kinesiology grad and chiropractor I found it beneficial therapeutically yet relaxing. Vivian, although small, can put large amounts of pressure on tight muscles and joints through multiple ranges of motion to free up trigger points and spasms. I feel more limber, refreshed and more able to tackle the physical aspects of life. Vivian is energetic, fun and she makes those challenging areas easier to bear.

Wow. I have had many Thai Massages in the past, but none compare this one. My therapist was Ziad and he was so intuitive and skilled in knowing where my trigger and tension points were. I had mentioned before the session where some of my problems were. But little did I know how much more of those i had when he commenced with the massage session. The combination of touch along with the presence and attention to my needs is what sets this massage apart from others. I was in for the day and went to see Dini. Five stars for her service, attitude and ability. It was easy to pay and the massage was great. The only drawback was that when I arrived there was a girl there on the phone who didnt know my massuere, I asked her about my massage but she just asked me to sit and wait although didnt have any idea about Dini or Bodhi. There is no receptionist so I sat there for about 10 min alone-it was a shared space. Also there was water dripping from the roof into a bucket--so atmosphere not amazing or spa like...massage and professional: AMAZING. I will return.

I have always had back issues and between visiting the sights of Montreal and hiking my back and hips were really causing pain. I found this jewel of a place. In the week and a half I was in town I visited Vivian 3 times! I am a big guy, with big muscles, but this 100lb ball of dynamite gave me the deepest Ashiatsu massage I have ever had in my life. After each visit I felt my muscles loosening slightly more. A first ever in my life. In one visit my left hip was causing me sharp pains, only to realize it was out of socket. Vivian moved it back in place qnd the sharp pain immediately went away. Thank you Vivian! I wish I lived closer. You would be my permanent fix!

I’ve had many massages but none could replace this place!! It’s was liberating butterfly experience!! It was the deep tissue massage for 90 minutes, yet it felt eternal. Amal is the most knowledgeable therapist I’ve had. She knew how to undue tension with her various techniques (used her elbow that released the tension)and worked my muscular knots that were accumulated in these difficult pandemic times. I was involved in a car accident about four years ago where my neck, shoulders, back and hip were injured quite badly. I was in pain and suffering from limited mobility for quite some time. I had tried Physio, acupuncture, regular massage but my ailments didn’t improve that much. I was told by my doctor to try thai massage as the stretching combined with massage could really help me. I decided to try Bodhi Thai Massage as they are located close to my home. I take the therapeutic thai massage once or twice a month and have had sessions with four different therapists over the past year. They each bring their own uniqueness. They are dialed in and seem to communicate well with each other as they always know what sort of treatment I had the last time. I have to say the treatments and the after massage recommended exercises are extremely helpful. I see great improvements in my body after each session. I am now pain-free and am able to resume intense athletic workouts without any issue. I’m extremely happy with the great results reached. I strongly recommend this team, they are all registered massage therapists and excellent at their craft.

A true professional, she will help you get an amazing stretch and release tension you didn't know existed using different positions and techniques. I was excited to visit Bodhi Thai massage because of the great reviews. I booked a two hour Thai massage but unfortunately left disappointed. Ziad my therapist was really friendly and professional but unfortunately the massage was not good. The pressure was inconsistent and it seemed like the therapist had only recently finished his training. The room was also really cold and even the blanket I requested half way through didn’t help much.

Each visit I feel so much better. Modest in design, the place is more a clinic than a spa, and is very clean which is good especially during Covid. I'm thankful for the therapeutic massage sessions. This is the BEST place to get an authentic Thai massage! Vivian, the therapist I had, was amazing - better than the ones I've tried in Montreal or Thailand. I think what made the difference was the massage was designed to my needs and incorporated alot more stretching than the typical Thai massage sessions I've received elsewhere. Yesterday was my first time going to Bodhi Thai Massage in Montreal, and, also my first time having a deep tissue Thai massage. My appointment was last minute (day of), and still, I was able to get the last rendezvous of the day. My therapist would be James Yee, a “Master” Thai massage therapist, and, “that I would not be disappointed”. I should note, Ive been getting massages my entire adult life. I am very discerning when it comes to my treatments, and, more often than not, I leave disappointed because the therapist simply wasn’t able to dig deep enough and give me the relief I yearned for. Last night, for the first time in my life, I received a PROPER massage, or as my therapist called it, his signature “fixer-upper”. Forget about starting off slowly, James went right to work isolating everyone muscle I’ve ever wanted to have worked on, and, even new ones I didn’t know existed. In between the “therapeutic treatments”, he would switch to traditional Thai massage before going back to the therapeutic work. My massage was an hour and a half and I could have easily stayed for 3 hours! I can’t recommend James Yee, and the entire team at Bodhi Thai Massage!! What a fantastic find! #CLIENTFORLIFE

I've been searching for a great place to get massages in Montreal and I'm glad I finally found Bodhi Thai Massage. I like a strong deep tissue massage and I tried both their deep tissue thai massage on the mat and deep tissue oil massage on the table. Both are incredibly satisfying. I've been to Bodhi Thai massage four times now and all the therapists who have worked on me are excellent. Each of the therapists have their own style and touch, and all are very good. They have good knowledge of body mechanics. They give strong pressure and they know where to press. They help relieve my body stress extremely well. I leave feeling very relaxed and calm. Vivian is tiny but full of energy with incredibly powerful hands! She has trained in Thailand including at Wat Po, the birth place of Thai massage. I chose the deep tissue Thai massage which is more therapeutic than relaxing. She worked out all my tension and used a special technique with a wooden mallet to break down really stiff muscles. Painful but effective! Definitely the most intense and thorough massage I have ever had. I will be going back!

I first discovered Bodhi Thai Massage through google search last year when I was experiencing severe tightness in my neck and shoulders. Having had numerous (mostly ineffective) massages at various clinics over the past 10 years I was skeptical but decided to give it a try anyway. What a wonderful surprise. Vivian used the perfect amount of pressure (most massage therapists don’t use enough pressure at all), and the stretching and deep tissue work alleviated my pain and tightness for weeks! I have tried other massage places and styles of massage but I find Thai massage works best for me Bodhi Thai Massage therapists are well trained and know what they are doing. I took their deep tissue Thai massage and I really liked it. The massage was strong and deep, and it incorporated very unique stretching techniques. My back feels brand new. Great experience from first contact through to the completion of my massage. I called in and the woman who answered the phone was really patient and ready to answer all my questions. I've been going to few medical like massage clinics in the past three months looking for help to relieve my back and sciatic pain, but none really gave me the results I was looking for. Had my first visit to Bodhi Thai Massage at the Vancouver location with Vivian last week! Called in for some advice and council to some issues I was experiencing. Pain, tension, stress, fatigue and depression. I was greeted by Vivian over the telephone who courteously listened to my troubles and suggested a therapy based on what I was feeling. When I arrived to my appointment the room was clean, music was soft and very calming and cozy. Vivian was very polite and professional. She explained what we spoke about over the phone and kept attentive to the areas in which I was concerned. The massage was a BLISS! Vivian kept great pressure the whole time and really helped me breathe deep while in my stretches! Every inch of my body was warm to the touch! By the end of my session I could not even open my eyes and sit up straight. My body just needed to sit back and relax. Vivian did not rush me. Instead, she offered me some water and spoke to me as I was going through my experience. I felt so ALIVE and Rejuvenated! I know, that something changed from that day forward as many good things have happened since~ It was definitely worth the experience! If you get a chance to visit Vancouver, make sure to visit them and book and appointment!
