The best spa I've been to in the province, not too crowded, very nice and comfy installations, many types of saunas and resting areas, access to a small river, SILENT (rare blabbering patrons but they are quickly notified by staff) with only occasional sound of passing cars from the road nearby. Loved it here. Very relaxing. Great variety of pools and temperatures. Excellent atmosphere, decor and staff. No freebies like tea, but cold water available and two complementary towels. Talking and silent areas. Beautiful natural river setting. One little drawback is the vertical - a lot of stairs, but nothing that would stop me from going back. Would definitely recommend! Great price, very reasonable for what this spa offers.

I really love this spa. I’ve been to so many over the years, and I would often make the drive out to this one in particular. I have never had a disappointing experience. The saunas, the eucalyptus sauna, the resting spaces and the baths are so well taken care of, and you can even go in the river all year round! (I go in the river In the winter too). As you can see, it’s beautiful here and it’s not put on or fake, it’s warm, inviting and comfortable. If you’ve never been please do yourself the kindness of offering this experience to yourself!

This spa was incredible! It really feels like a little oasis in the middle of a forest. I am from Montreal and driving all the way here was quick, considering the paradisiac feeling and scenery that you get. I felt completely disconnected from the city, which is exactly what I was looking for. The prices are completely reasonable and the staff is friendly. The facilities are very charming, cozy and rustic. I definitely want to get a massage next time I go and I strongly recommend this place. I enjoyed the Russian Banya a lot.

Nice spa, very cozy location and never too crowded. Good price. One huge complaint is that this spa is very stingy. Unlike other similar spas, they provide no free tea, the spa water is very limited, and they refuse to give patrons more than two towels. So if it’s freezing outside and your towel is wet, you’re out of luck.

Excellent Spa, worth the trip. I've driven here from the Hudson valley more than a few times to soak and steam. There is really nothing at all like it in New York State. This place is comfortable, clean, in a beautiful setting and has a great selection of saunas, steams and tubs. I love going from the sauna into the river, even in winter. I love the no talking policy. This was the first spa I've ever experienced that. My only small complaint is the music that is piped in is weirdly disconcerting. I bring earplugs or my own music and earphones when I want to sit in the relaxing room.

My husband and I have been to several spas and this one has become one of our favorite. The site is beautiful and blends well with the surrounding nature. We found it to be quiet and peaceful, with the occasional sounds of passing cars, but not enough to stop us from going back. The site is the perfect size, not too crowded, with several types of saunas and resting areas. We definitely recommend.

I would say that this is my happy place. A SPA in a beautiful enchanted forest, extremely well integrated into nature. A place with special energy. Went there many times and every time I felt fantastic. Love the landscape, you have to walk, and it was built in different levels. Good variety of saunas and baths, relaxing areas... The massages that I had were very good, usually relaxing. The design of the place is very minimalistic and rustic. A hidden little gem, that usually is not crowded at all, which I love. I would recommend a few things that will make the place perfect: free robes (really important), free beverages (maybe some tea or flavored water with fruits or veggies), add music to some of the installations (ex. No music in the sauna by the river or the crypte), have a fireplace outdoors. In conclusion, I love it during the day but more at night. With the lights it's absolutely beautiful, especially in the winter. Keep this place to yourself. We don't want to make it too popular.

It's a great get-away that allowed me to reconnect with myself AND with NATURE! If you love connecting with the 5 elements, being outdoors in the natural forest, the smell of pine trees, breathing fresh mountain air, the sound and feel of waterfalls, relaxing by a camp fire, this is the place to be! I just loved this place! It's rustic and humble decor takes full advantage of it's natural surroundings. Don't get me wrong, it's very clean and very well maintained, it's just made to blend in very well with the forest setting, you'll feel like you're at your own personal cabin in the woods. They have many unique installation all located at different areas on the site. They are all linked together by walking paths that take you on short walks through the forest past. It's really a unique experience. I loved being outside so much I didn't even try the saunas, I was enjoying the pools and resting by the outdoor fireplace. They even have a small natural creek where you can take a cold dip in the water or simply rest under the forest trees in hammocks or long chairs. Silence is well respected on site and cell phones are not permitted. If you're looking for peace and quite you'll find it here! I've tried a few different spas and this one is easily at the top of my list, it's so much more than just a spa. I'm already planning my next visit.

All small bemols to emphasize (which did not affect our appreciation at all): the bathrobe is apart in the price (and we forgot to offer it) and parking is too small. C'est beau et relaxant juste de s'assoir et écouter la rivière couler. J'ai aussi aimé les nombreux espaces de relaxation, spacieux et confortables, surtout celle avec les lits et le foyer. Et le sauna très chaud avec la douche froide à l'intérieur : WOW! Enfin, les employés sont super discrets, polis et chaleureux. C'était une merveilleuse expérience. Tous petits bemols à souligner (qui n'ont pas du tout affecté notre appréciation) : le peignoir est à part dans le prix (et on a oublié de me l'offrir) et le stationnement est trop petit. Rien de majeur mais à améliorer si possible ;)

Great place with a rustic feel for spending the day relaxing in the saunas. If you are an avid spa goer and like to have the cold water right beside the sauna, pls note only two out of 5 saunas have cold water access almost as soon as you get out of sauna. Amazing!!! Loved every minute and definitely going back! The spa is like entering a different more relaxing world. I did the evening bath special which was $32 and had access to the entire facility, hot tubs, steam room, saunas, and relaxation areas. It is A quiet/no talking zone. I do wish there signs had English translations but it's a special spot am very excited to bring more friends here. Highly recommend. And I would suggest spending the extra money for the bathrobe.

Nous avions beaucoup d’attentes envers ce massage depuis notre dernier du spa à Tremblant. Mais le leur, étais un peut comme prendre un massage de 1 heure et de l’étirer en deux heures. Ni moi ni ma femme n’avons apprécier ... zéro point de tentions n’ont été travaillé... je me suis même surpris en soirée à demander un massage à ma femme pour m’enlever le point dans mon dos. (Phrase que je n’ai pas fait me disant que je venais de recevoir un massage de deux heures ????) Dans le positif, une très grande quantité de Sauna sont disponible avec deux spa et 3 bain froid.

Something about this little spa is really charming. Even though other places might cover more space and offer extra services but the simplicity in this one made my experience a pleasant one. I've been here a few times and it's one of the only ones that is usually never overly crowded and it's simply peaceful with its location hidden away in the trees. Their Russian banya is a must try. À noter qu'on ne peut pas revenir au spa, après le souper, sans repayer. Le resto et le spa ferment à 9pm (le mardi) c'est donc mieux de réserver au resto vers 7pm pour profiter au max du spa. Extremely Disappointing and Dangerous. the power went out while we we were there , this is not the fault of the spa of course but what WAS THEIR fault was not being prepared for such a situation. Not having any functioning emergency lighting, walking to the men's bathroom down the darkest stairs in pitch black was nothing less then a bad joke. I almost broke my neck falling in the stairs. Love this place. Summer is nice, but winter is magical. Twinkly lights line the trees, and on a clear night there’s a fantastic view of the sky. Nothing quite like sitting in a hot tub while the air outside is -10°, staring up at the moon, defying the winter blues. Get ridiculously cooked in the banya, then dance with icicles in the cold bath! Only complaint is the music in select areas. Most of the grounds pipe in some woo-woo spa soundtrack that’s easy to ignore, but the banya plays the goofiest upbeat “Russian” music in the style of early Loony Toons (borderline offensive, tbh) on a very short loop. Spa staff is generally quite accommodating, but when we mentioned how hard it was to relax to that, our comments were met with defensive attitude and a guarantee that they’ll never change it. Still, I’m giving 5 stars because it’s such an amazing experience. Bring sandals, swim suit, water bottle, and extra towel if you want to enjoy a shower at the end. (The two provided get pretty wrecked unless you also purchase a robe) Go after 5pm for a great discounted rate ($32 instead of $47)!

You could simply ask that the ringtone be off, otherwise how to take pretty pictures memories ?! In the air of relaxation we were alone while we spoke in a low voice, always trying to relax because that's the goal, an employee came to put wood in the home and she told us very dryly: " here is total silence! " We had the impression that she was talking to children. It is obvious that if other clients had come in, we would have stopped talking but we were alone and we were talking in low voices. Given the very slippery roads, we finally arrived 15 minutes late. (We were leaving St-Sauveur) We had a massage of 45 minutes and pay full price (massage suitable no more). Ma'dire when you come to 3h of road ... The schedules are so tight to the point of not leaving room for unforeseen? is it better to penalize clients? Have been there. Upon arrival, we were catapulted directly to the massage parlors go go go! with our boots, coats, bags, etc.! I almost fell down the stairs because it was very slippery. During the massages, people spoke very loudly at the entrance as well as during our outdoor bath and no warning. It was our first and last time. My recommendations: more flexibility and empathy especially when people leave so far to come and relax at home and especially worry about the safety of people and understand that no one can predict the state of roads at 100%. Lockers too small security mode (padlock) questionable. Two towels or a fee to get more? No herbal tea included or at least able to get some. Cabin to undress too small, very high shelves to put personal belongings, ditto in the massage room. Insufficient trash cans in the locker space. Landmarks would be interesting for outdoor exits, the crypt, and the air of relaxation, etc. have gone round a little bit. The stairs down to the lockers very narrow. Small snack? Where a place to eat lunch that we have suggested to bring. Eat sitting on benches where everyone changes? Positive point: I will return to my usual SPA where the welcome is warm and human with more amenities. Our visit was extremely unpleasant. Après avoir bien expliqué que nous sommes toujours présent à nos rendez-vous à moins d'un cas de force majeure tel que l'état des routes, elle me répond: "ben j'accepterai pas une annulation pour deux pouces de neige!" ' Météo média venait d'annoncé de 25 à 45 cm de neige! Et de surcroit, nous avions 3h de route pour nous rendre. C'est comme parler dans le beurre finalement! Bref! Cafouillage total. À notre arrivée, accueil sans sourire et avec toutes sortes de règlements dit avec sévérité comme si nous étions des ados. PS: pas de cellulaire? Vous pourriez simplement demander que la sonnerie soit éteinte, sinon comment prendre de jolies photos souvenirs?! Dans l'air de détente nous étions seule alors que nous parlions à voix basse, toujours en essayant de se détendre car c'est ça le but, une employée est entrée mettre du bois dans le foyer et elle nous a dit très sèchement: "ici c'est le silence totale!" Nous avions l'impression qu'elle parlait à des enfants. Il est évident que si d'autres clientes étaient entrées, nous aurions cessé de parler mais nous étions seules et nous parlions à voix basse. Vu l'état des routes très glissantes, nous sommes finalement arrivé 15 minutes en retard. (Nous partions de St-Sauveur) Nous avons eu un massage de 45 minutes et payer plein prix (massage convenable sans plus). Ma'dire quand tu viens de faire 3h de route... Les horaires sont donc tellement serrées au point de ne pas laisser de place pour des imprévues? vaut mieux pénaliser les clientes? Ont jase là. À notre arrivée, nous avons été catapultés directement dans les salles de massage go go go! avec nos bottes, manteaux, sacs, etc.! J'a failli tomber dans les escaliers car c'était très glissant. Durant les massages, des gens parlaient très fort à l'entrée ainsi que durant notre bain extérieur et aucun avertissement. C'était notre première et dernière fois. Mes recommandations: plus de souplesse et d'empathie surtout quand les gens partent de si loin pour venir se détendre chez vous et surtout se soucier de la sécurité des gens et de comprendre que personne ne peut prédire l'état des routes à 100%. Casiers trop petits mode de sécurité (cadenas) discutable. Deux serviettes sinon des frais pour en obtenir d'autres? Pas de tisane incluse ou du moins pouvoir s'en procurer. Cabine pour se dévêtir trop petites, tablettes très hautes pour y mettre des effets personnels, idem dans la salle de massage. Poubelles insuffisantes dans l'espace casier. Des repères seraient intéressants pour les sorties extérieurs, la crypte, et l'air de détente, etc. ont tourne en rond un peu. L'escalier pour descendre aux casiers très étroite. Petit casse-croûte? Où un endroit pour manger le lunch qu'ont nous suggère d'apporter. Manger assise sur des bancs ou tout l'monde se change? Point positif: je vais retourner à mon SPA habituel où l'accueil est chaleureux et humain avec plus de commodités. Notre visite fut extrêmement désagréable.
