I had my first appointment with Kellie Gies last Friday. I had to find a new Massage Therapist after my other Therapist left the country. The receptionist and Kellie both made me feel very welcome on my first visit. Kellie took the time to find out what my issues are and I felt that it was a fantastic massage. The facilities themselves are very nice and the room I was in was very clean and the brightness was perfect. I definitely will be coming back as I have no complaints (and the pricing seems to be comparable to other Therapists in town).

KW Health were at the 2019 ENDURrun 7 Stage Race of 160km. They provide us with a massage every day for the entire week. It was extremely helpful. My legs definitely felt better after. They were all very friendly. They did exactly what was asked. We are all so thankful.

My back was injured over Christmas, and Dr Charles was able to quickly fit me into his schedule on a Saturday morning. When it became apparent that I needed more treatment he took time out of his 2 days off to come in and see me, to give me treatment that I needed, so I could have the continuous therapy I needed to heal. Dr Charles was direct, honest, incredibly knowledgeable, and effective in his treatment. He also took the time to source different exercises for me to do on my own, and has remained in touch with me to check on my healing process. The whole team at this clinic delivers amazing care, and has your best interest at hear always. It's a great facility, and has a great doctor in Dr Charles!

I first went in for a regular chiro adjustment without much expectation. But Dr. Colin was great, did a thorough first examination and paid attention to all my concerns and came up with an action plan to target all of my pains. I have, what I thought was, carpal tunnel syndrome that turned out to be extreme tightness of the forearm and that has improved a lot. But my main concern was chronic knee pain, and to be honest, I didn't think they'd be able to help me with it. I've had knee issues for 7 years, have had surgery twice and in the last year the pain has worsened so much that the pain was constant regardless of what I did. I'm on my third appointment now and I can say that I am IMPRESSED by the relief I've experienced since my first visit!! For the first time in months the pain has diminished significantly. I am SO thankful and happy! I would recommend them 100%

Part way through the week long ENDURrun 160KM stage race this past summer I started battling back spasms along with the distance. The pain was impairing my breathing and freedom of motion. After each stage, and in the one off day, Dr. Colin worked on my back to ensure I was ready for the next race day. i not only completed my fastest ENDURrun but ended it with a personal best marathon time to finish the week. I continued with a few more weeks of treatment, with both Colin and Dr. Erika the naturopath, which put an end to the spasms and let me enjoy the rest of my ultra racing season pain free. Last summer I injured my foot playing soccer. I was unable to do any exercise or even walk comfortably due to the pain I was experiencing. Dr. Callaghan is not only the most professional practitioner I've been to but she is also the most knowledgeable. She takes the time to understand my problem (and as an active athlete there have been many) and then takes further time to make sure that I understand the problem too. Her use of her charismatic sidekick skeleton, Sully, really makes it clear on why I get pain in certain areas and how the techniques she will use will address it. I've gone to her for chiropractic care, ART, and acupuncture, and each time she was able to make the pain go away and get me back into top condition! I highly recommend her to anyone with any aches/pains or restricted movement!

After a serious ankle sprain last summer, I felt like I'd never get back to sports. A visit to the doctor only told me, "it's not broken, it's badly sprained - rest and ice" - which left me confused about what to do next and wanting more specialized treatment. Someone recommended visiting a chiropractor and I was surprised to learn about all of the many treatments that chiropractors do now in addition to the traditional chiropractic adjustments - acupuncture, Active Release Therapy, graston technique, and advice on rehab exercises and bracing. After 4 months of treatment with Dr. Callaghan (based on when I felt I needed to come in), I went from hobbling on crutches to playing full-contact competitive sports again (with a good brace ;). Along with the physical relief, my favourite part of visiting Julia was the effort she put in to provide personal care and emotional support... Injuries can be so frustrating, and Julia offered the reassuring yet realistic advice I needed to know about my recovery process. I always left the clinic with a positive outlook and a plan of things I could do at home to contribute to my own healing. Also, I really like the location of KW Health Connection in downtown Kitchener and the clinic interior is a calming and nicely decorated environment.

Gaya is an absolutely wonderful massage therapist, as soon as I arrived she was very professional and I felt cared for the entire visit. The room was clean and welcoming. I accidentally forgot my wallet at home and the receptionist informed me they had e-transfer available as payment which was incredibly convenient. KW Health Connection was a new experience for me, and it was life changing in a very, very positive way! I had a 60 minute massage. From the moment I met my massage therapist Gaya, I felt a calm, positive 'vibe'. She asked me questions before proceeding to ensure I got the experience I wanted and I needed. The massage was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep several times. Gaya, with my permission, tackled a few problem spots, releasing muscles of tension which I had not even been aware prior to the massage, had been so tense. I have already booked my next massage. This is one way, even during a pandemic, where I can take care of myself mentally, emotionally and physically, in a covid safe and controlled environment. I would highly recommend it for everyone.

I had seen another Chiropractor for many years for recurrent back pain with minimal improvement. They had told me that I just have a bad back and will have some back pain. One day was especially bad and I couldn’t get an appointment with my other Chiropractor. I saw Colin and he released the muscle tension around my spine and no more back pain! Colin has been a phenomenal help, he has helped me stay upright after working a desk job for years. His technique is unlike any chiropractor Ive ever been to - and he is hands on!! Erika is the Naturopath and Acupuncturist. She is so warm and nurturing. She has so many methods to help you and improve your quality of life with big pharma alternatives. She also helped me with diet, keeping me on track and motivating me to achieve incredible results. Additionally they offer massage therapy - Ive seen Steve for many years. He is incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and does such a great job every time I see him. I love that you can book your appointments online! I am also so appreciative of them "fitting me in" on days when I woke up with a back pain or stiff neck. There is reserved parking in the back, or street parking in the front. I highly recommend checking this place out!!
