I was able to get in the same night I contacted Hand and Stone however, the massage I received was cut short by about 5 minutes. The RMT I saw talked mostly about herself. And I asked for a light massage however, I was in pain for 3 days after, especially trough my neck and upper back. It was not the experience I wanted.

Have had multiple treatments and have a membership and by far the best place I have been in a long time. The staff, therapists and owners are all very friendly. Atmosphere is very relaxing. Definitely my favourite place!

I had an 80 minute deep tissue massage with Michele. She was very professional and thorough while answering all my questions before hand. She made me feel very relaxed and was accommodating with my requests. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and I didn't wait long at all for my appointment. Already made my next appointment to go back! Would highly recommend.

Second RMT massage at Hand & Stone. This massage I had Jamie. She was awesome, massaged exactly where the pain was & fully understood how to treat the specific pain I was having. I have tried ALOT of RMT's & she is one of the best I have had :) I will be booking back with her for sure :)

Impossible to book with. Have cancelled last minute on me twice. Have paid for two months of membership and haven't been able to get a massage. No compensation for canceled booking even though I had to take the day off work. Very dissatisfied.

I arrived for my apt at 3 and was told it was cancelled that morning - they apparently confused me with someone else and cancelled mine. I took the afternoon off work drove 45 mins out of my way and they cancelled my apt? And all she said was sorry. I’m sorry but you charge people a cancellation fee if they cancel less than 24 hours so I would like to know what will be done for my inconvenience. I never complain about things but this is honestly ridiculous. And conveniently my next apt was at 430 in town so I had to sit there for an hour and a half upset because I can’t drive home and then back all while my neck is killing me since I didn’t get my massage. Horrible customer service - horrible experience and I will never be back but (this is after I have gone here for 3ish years)!

I had an amazing mini-spa day at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Peterborough today. Enjoyed a fabulous massage with Ryan. Perfect amount of pressure for my aching muscles. Lot of water and an epson salt bath in order tonight. Brittany provided an incredible facial! Very professional - the quality of the facial was as good as it gets! Love the Yon-Ka product line. Perfect for my aging skin. Must add a reminder in my calendar to get a facial more regularly; it is unbelievably relaxing and obviously beneficial to my skin's health. The Hand & Stone spa is such a relaxing, welcoming environment - perfect for a regular treatment or as a mini get away. I will definitely be back. Thanks team for an amazing experience.

Just awful. For one, they never have any massage therapists in when you try to book. Even weeks in advance. However the people at the front desk were polite and did their best with what they had. And when you finally go in, the owners family is in the front lobby. Kids, grandparents, you name it. The place reeks of Body Odor and is noisy as can be. It was very intimidating as they all stared at me and continued to speak in their own language and even point at me. During a treatment, while trying to relax, I was constatly told of their membership program and why I should sign up. Very annoying when I just wanted to lay there. Finally, I Tried to leave and was constantly pitched a membership I had no interest in signing. The only saving grace of this place is the massage therapists and front desk staff. Don't waste your time and money at this place. There are cleaner, and cheaper spas in the area with much better services.
