I went in for my first Brazilian wax and it was quick and easy. Audra is funny and puts you at ease. She made me laugh when she said she charges $5 for every swear, but she said she'd waive the fee if I wrote a review. Also, she has chocolate mints and the sweetest dog! 10/10 would recommend

Audra absolutely lives up to her name, The Brazilian waxing QUEEN!! i have been getting waxed for years but up until i went and seen audra i never realized how a pain free, professional standard wax is done. i now only need to go once every 4 weeks instead of every 2. Also i need to mention that i DONT EVER get any ingrown hairs anymore!! she has completely changed my outlook and experience on getting waxed. i guess thats why she won spa of the year! I messed up my appointment days and she still took me in right then and there. she's absolutely a treat to see. I 100% recommend her to anyone that wants to go to someone who is very knowledgeable, caring, and accommodating.

I've been going to Audra's for about 7 years now and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else! Previous experiences with brazilian waxes were either unpleasant or took about 45 minutes. Audra is super fast and efficient . Done in 5-10 minutes! My husband has been purchasing facial packages for the past 3 years for me and I look forward to having them done. It is so relaxing. She uses Yonka products and I have now been using them ever since. They make my skin feel great. I would totally recommend everyone to use her services. I just had a pedicure there today and my feet and nails look great!

So I have pretty prevalent acne and my friend got me this gift package from Audra's; one of the things on it is a mini facial with a consultation. The consultation was extremely helpful and I'm really happy that I went. She was upfront about everything and gave me really good advice on how to take care of my skin and what preventative measures I could take. She understood that I didn't have a lot of money and recommended some brands that were in my price range and so far everything seems to be working well and she's willing to answer anymore questions I have.

I found audras by using the yellow pages on my phone. I live in williams lake and visit kamloops regularly to see family. I needed a wax and almost 2 years later i still make my way to kamloops to see the my good friend audra. She is awsome, friendly and knows her stuff. I have had pedis, waxings, massage. Each visit i leave having had a great experience.

Incredibly unprofessional. I am a true believer in second chances, but in this case, I gave about six chances and had a poor experience every single time. Firstly, when I go to a Spa I intend to be in a relaxing and quiet environment, but this wasn't the case at all. Audra has signs posted all over her Spa advising other customers to be quiet to provide a relaxing environment for everyone, however, she doesn't even follow this herself. I went in for a pedicure (which cost upwards of $90, I might add) and was presented with a bowl of water to put my feet into. I was told to soak for fifteen minutes and "relax". Audra took it upon herself to use those fifteen minutes to call her clients for appointment reminders (efficient use of time, fair enough), yet she sat outside the room with the door open and talked loudly (nearly arguing) on the phone with a few clients. After the fifteen minutes were up she came back into the room to dry off my feet. I was her last client of the day and I guess she had made dinner plans for the evening with her husband. He showed up and apparently she didn't like what he was wearing, nor did she like how his hair looked and so they proceeded to argue back and forth right in front of me while she dried off my feet! Now, a couple bickering doesn't bother me in the slightest, however when I go to a Spa and I'm paying nearly double what I would pay at any other place in town (for an inferior service) I would expect a bit of peace and quiet so that I can achieve my goal which is to de-stress. Instead, I felt incredibly awkward and out of place sitting there while the two went back and forth at each other. Unfortunately for me, I had already booked a few other services with her, and being someone who tries to avoid confrontation, I wasn't about to cancel them. A few days later I went in for a Brazilian wax. I must say that it was quick and painless and minimally awkward and I was happy with the overall experience of it. When she finished I quickly got dressed and went to the front to pay. When I got home later and actually had a look I realized that she had missed so many spots! It was done so terribly! I would expect that the "Waxing Queen" who charges $80 for a wax would at least make sure that the area is bald before sending you on your way. How wrong I was. Carrying out the rest of my booked services, I also attended my manicure appointment. On her website it shows: "Deluxe Spa Manicure: This luxurious manicure begins with an essential oil soak, shaping of nails, cuticle care, a relaxing hand and arm massage, and ends with a buff and polish. $50 - add gel polish for $10". I upgraded to the gel polish (so, a $60 service), but I didn't get what it mentions on the site. What I received was nail shaping, buff and polish. No hand soak, no cuticle care, no "relaxing hand and arm massage". Pretty steep pricing for what I received. The polish stayed on for THREE DAYS. I had this exact same service a few years prior with Lucy (when she still worked there) and the polish stayed on for upwards of a month (essentially until I cut my nails a couple times and nothing remained). I'm not an expert or an esthetician, but if it is only staying on for three days, I think that you are doing something wrong. None of my experiences at Audra's Day Spa were impressive, but the above three were the ones definitely worth mentioning to anyone else considering using her services. I have had many people tell me about their poor experiences with Audra, but I decided to see for myself (what a mistake). I will definitely never go there again and will advise everyone I know to go elsewhere as well. On one last note, just to add to the unprofessionalism of it all, Audra deletes the comments on her reviews. What does that tell you about someone who runs a business?

I have tried other places where I felt the person doing the waxing really had no idea what she was doing and had not done too many. Audra is expert at it and also I enjoy her pleasant company! She is a professional in a field I feel there are many out to make money but not provide the level of service.

Audra is a very nice lady. I saw all these great reviews so I decided to goto Audra for a reiki treatment. When I explained why I was there for reiki she suggested I see my dr for antidepressants. This defeats the purpose of holistic treatments and is against the reiki code.
