Large clean rooms. Heated indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Somewhat bland and tired, let down by a couple of unenthusiastic check in colleagues. Didn't try restaurants as better options in town

Ohhh la la. This place has the rustic look and feel I seek for get aways. It's shared space is largely wood rustic. The rooms have nice comfy bedding. Balconies. There is a pool onsite. And a Restaurant. Our conference food was so good. I cant say enough good things about the food. This hotel is the first one you see when you pull into town. I recommend staying here. I'm coming back.

Loud hallways, dated rooms. Wasn’t the best option for the price but good location. Update: stayed here last week, unreal how loud and obnoxious people are that stay here. Kids running around late at night, people yelling and playing music and in the public lobby people were treating it like their own living room. Drinking excessively and pop cans and snacks laying all over the ground.

Not a bad hotel. Rooms ok, bathrooms quite small . At the end of the hotel strip but still walkable to shops and restaurants. Breakfast very disappointing, not much choice and quality not good.

Gary C

The hotel itself if quite beautiful. It's pretty far from downtown which is a little bit inconvenient as it it's a $10 cab ride to get downtown. The rooms are pretty nice and the staff are very accommodating and nice.

We had a wonderful stay. Clean rooms, ample parking, hot pool, beautiful interiors and don't miss the great restaurant. They make delicious breakfast????

I had a very unpleasant experience. The rooms were okay, bathrooms were small, no free breakfast, they care more about your money than they do of you. On the plus side, beds were comfortable, and there was nice architecture. Great facility and cleaning service.

When we checked and went to our room the smell in the room hit you like a wall. Then we turned on the lights and a huge blood spot was on the wall across from us. It’s old run down, the pool area is dirty. In the rooms the baseboards are missing and its just drywall showing, the bathtubs have rust spots in them they are old enamel ones. No updates at all to this hotel. Went to the restaurant to eat and the managed to get three meals out of five wrong. I would post a picture of the blood spot but i can’t find where to post the picture.

Nice facility. Has an indoor pool, hot tub and steam room. Rooms are updated. Would recommend.

The Junior Suite was clean, spacious and very comfortable. There was a small dining room table which was perfect for a game of cards and eating meals. The sectional was comfortable. The separate bedroom was lovely with a Queen bed. The bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub which was fabulous after skiing in -30 . Though this suite is a little dated it was well worth the money spent.

Stayed in the hotel recently. The staff are amazing very friendly and polite. The food was also well prepared and the breakfast buffet was enjoyable. The pool, steam room and hot tub were very clean and well maintained and added to the enjoyment of the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, very warm and "home like feeling". The staff really went above and beyond to help after hearing about a negative experience from another Hotel within Jasper. Felt appreciated and I will only stay at the Sawridge Inn Jasper. Thank you so much for making the getaway one of the best!

Rooms were very well accommodated, with extras, such as wine glasses and bottle openers. Free WiFi, cable, Indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna. 2 restaurants, really don't need to leave the hotel if you don't want to. Would definitely go again.

Had breakfast here, very good experience, friendly and great service.unique dinning area !

It was ok. The hotel itself is very nice in the lobby and public areas. Our room was quite outdated and in need of a reno. Peeling paint on the walls, and the shower was literally no more than a mist. Had breakfast one morning and it was extremely slow but our waitress was very nice.

Food and service at hotel was below par. Front desk was ok, our balcony overlooks the staff smoking section where chef was smoking Cannabis so obviously A troubled business

Attended a wedding and stayed two nights overnight at this hotel. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy and the air conditioning works well! No complaints here, if I ever come back to Jasper I would consider staying here again. However, next time I will make sure I make some time for the pool/hot tub and the spa!

What is the point of a Keurig machine in room when no water is provided? Passive aggressive signs all around the hotel. Water not retaining heat properly. Thin walls. Internet takes 2 minutes to load a webpage. Rooms are remodeled but the bathrooms are not.

Brent Erickson

Let me resume; old, not friendly staff, noisy (you can feel kids running when sleeping in the bed. Or.. Dog barking.. First problem I see big dog allowed!? and fare from downtown anyway I'm sure you can find better deal for the same price

Jeff Fernandez

Never staying in this hotel again. It's hugely overpriced. No Internet (unusable speed) during a weekday with vacancy! Overcrowded and dirty pool, not even talking about a hot tub. Poor selection of TV channels. Uncomfortably hard pillows. No view (you are facing a food court). Mold in the shower area and outdated fixtures.

I’ve been to a lot of hotels in the typical tourist spots of Alberta, Sawridge Inn in terms of room cleanliness was better than most (especially in comparison to hotels in Canmore). The only thing I didn’t like is that I had to ask for toothbrush and toothpaste myself (when did hotels stop putting that in bathrooms? Because I don’t know about everyone else but I don’t bring those when I travel).

Vic C

It's relatively nice but feels a little dated, with slow wifi, no USB charging outlets, noisy heat registers. Room felt pretty dim as well.

The hotel was pretty standard fair nothing overly memorable but friendly staff. No mini fridge in the room which made it tricky to bring food back to the room. Although they do have the hearthstone restaurant for eating and a breakfast restaurant as well. We had king size bed accommodation so I was maybe hoping for little extra touches. The wifi was unsecured and a little slow but overall it was a passable place to rest our heads.

Nice staff! We will most likely stay here again because of the great on-site staff. Young woman with glasses at front counter when we checked in on Wednesday was really knowledgeable about Jasper and tours. She drove in to Jasper just like us that day. Racheal at Walter’s breakfast was really nice two days in a row. She checked on us often. We purposefully got food off the free breakfast menu so that we could tip her! Her tip was $10 on a $4 bill so we hope she got it. Servers at Hearthstone where really great! Kept our drinks full! Our king sized bed was really comfy and soft. Hotel is starting to get a little worn out. Rugs in some areas are worn and stained like in Walter’s. Overall the hotel was very clean and tidy. Our washroom counter was too close to the toilet. We get king rooms because I’m a bigger guy. It’s hard to use the toilet when the paper roll holder is poking me in the side after I take the roll out. It makes me a bit sad the humiliated to talk about this but I wanted to give useful feedback. Food was good and delicious but it seemed off theme and too fancy. For an Indigenous owned hotel I would expect more traditional foods. This may be a missed opportunity to showcase Indigenous culture to visitors from around the world. No breakfast buffet! We have been here multiple times before and the breakfast buffet was always a highlight. No gift shop! Again, another missed opportunity to sell traditional Indigenous arts and crafts. Phone booking was strange! The person on the phone told us that the kitchen was being renovated so we would have to go to another hotel to eat. But that was not so. No in room pay per view movies! When did 3-4 star hotels stop offering Hollywood blockbuster rentals in room? Wi-Fi was not that great on the third floor, Hearthstone, and Walter’s. We couldn’t read the menus online as they advertised at the tables. After discovering we could not rent a movie in room, we were trying to stream on our phone but that didn’t work either. It feels like the management company is cutting corners and missing opportunities. For the price and these few issues it was only a little disappointing

Very nice place. Nice rooms for the price. Excellent hot tub and pool area. The heater in the room was too hot and loud.

Average place that needs updating. Restaurant & pub area very disappointing. We had to go over to another hotel pub in order to watch Junior Nationals on TV as Sawridge had 1 small TV in their pub....
