Had a back massage with Miranda the other day and it was just...unreal in the best way. Let's fast forward to the end. All I could say was "Wow, why didn't I come see you sooner?" I was literally speechless. She really made the experience simple and painless; as she worked with the deft precision of a master, I could feel years of stress and tension just melting away. I don't think I've ever physically felt that level of relaxation as my endocrine system went into overdrive to make sure I got the message "this is good for you, you need to do this more often." I have followed her to BodyDevotion from her previous location, and I can attest that she is a fantastic deep tissue therapist. I live with chronic tension headaches and have very tight shoulders/upper body. Every time I see Miranda she uses the perfect pressure and has a wonderful technique. Miranda also tries different techniques and ways to get at the targeted muscle which is great, she is really there to try and help improve your life/health. I have been a client of Miranda’s at Body Devotion for over two years. Her knowledge of anatomy and physiology makes her treatments seem intuitive, I often find myself thinking “how does she always manage to hit the right spot!?”. Miranda learns from your body as she gives her treatments and works on areas that I would have never thought would help with my initial concerns. Her cupping is my absolute favourite; the first few seconds always come with a few poorly chosen words coming from me (sorry!) but it works magic for releasing some of the trickier spots. Before treatment I had very tight wrists/forearms and an almost permanent “achy” lower back that I tried to ignore. After her treatments, I can feel immediate relief after treatments. I have full mobility in my wrists/forearms and feel as if my spine is “free”. I would recommend Miranda to anybody; she listens well, works with you and your level of comfort, and has tons to teach you. The location on Jasper is clean, modern, and has very nice treatment rooms, not to mention all the staff here are amazing!

I can go in for a massage cupping combo and still receive some acupuncture and some cranial sacral or recommendations for herbs. I've been going here for years and I plan to keep going. I would highly recommend Miranda as a massage therapist if you are seeking someone who has a outstanding grasp of the human anatomy and function!! As a exercise physiologist, I have a strong appreciation for someone who has demonstrated this amount knowledge and attention to detail. She's very aware of how the muscles align in the body and how to manipulate them. She is also very strong for those who prefer deep tissue massage. Her technique for cupping is unique to me and is used in a very strategic manor that helps with muscle tension. I will be recommending her to my friends and family!

Inevitably, I am constantly dealing with either minor aches and pains or a major injury. I have run the full gambit of trying different massage therapists and modalities, and Miranda is simply the best. However, she offered me some herbal tea for fertility instead and the next month, I was pregnant! I visited BodyDevotion for a deep tissue massage with Miranda after a recommendation from a friend. Miranda was awesome! She did a great assessment and then we discussed focus areas before the treatment. One thing I really appreciated was Miranda's use of pressure. I haven't always been able to find a therapist who delivers enough pressure but Miranda nailed it! After the treatment I slept like a baby and felt like a million bucks the next day. I can't recommend this clinic and Miranda enough. So glad that I got this recommendation and gave them a try!

Had severe neck pain and wa unable to move my neck. This was at the start of my summer vacation with my wife. Contacted Body Devotion and they were very helpful and booked me with Rachel and fit me in her busy schedule to take care of my neck emergency. I had a workplace injury with some partial tears in my rotator cuff tendons. I went to see Miranda for 3 60 minute sessions within the span of 2 weeks. With the treatments, the stretches and exercises that she recommended for me to do on my own, I’m back on full work duties and full gym routine. I showed her my MRI report and she explained the injuries to me better than the clinic doctors did and she knew exactly how to treat the injury. The mobility in my shoulder is now better than before the injury. I would highly recommend!

Rochelle is clearly quite skilled at what she does. I came in with restricted mobility in my ankles and hips that was affecting my entire body and musculature. In only one session, she was able to improve my range of motion more than I thought possible. I will see her again to work on my back as soon as I can make the scheduling work. I will mention that her style is not for the unwilling to improve. She is a strong woman, and the experience will not necessarily be comfortable, but you will see benefits.

Had a really wonderful experience with Julia, highly highly recommend her to anyone with skin issues. Would mention that our session was rudely interrupted by Dr. Singh, who barged in without explanation or introducing himself or what he was doing, since I had booked an appointment specifically with Julia. He proceeded to exclaim that my skin would need a prescriptions and various expensive products (which Julia later confirmed I definitely do not need) without even examining my skin or asking me what I had made an appointment for. Basically just a money grab. This was my first time at the spa, but worth mentioning that he has also earned the nickname 'Dr. Handsy' with several of my girlfriend who visit the spa regularly. Not a fan. But Julia is fantastic and can't say enough positive things about my experience with her!

Have been receiving Acupuncture for several years now, I have used it for many different health issues. I originally came in for back pain, but once learning what acupuncture can do for me, I've had treatments done for a bladder issue and also before and after shoulder surgery. I had a childhood injury and was sent to a chiropractor twice a week for 3 years have had a total of three spinal surgeries and they want to do another one and put rods and screws in my neck.
