I was in a lot of pain last night due to lower back injury and was in search for a good massage therapist. I was lucky to see this massage listing and after reading couple of reviews I decided to give it a try and went on to book an appointment with Michelle McDowell's (RMT) because one of the google reviewers mentioned that she has been going to her for 8 years. To put it simple, Michelle McDowell's (RMT) is a massage goddess, she knew her away around the muscles and utilized some complex yet effective massage techniques for which i have never experienced before from going to other RMTs in the province. I feel much better now thanks to her. I will definitely be returning for a another session when I need it.

I won't rate this place even a star. This place is super unprofessional and VERY VERY VERY RUDE! I called to say I wanted a massage due to my stress of having kidney stones alongside of having pain due to that. I was recommended by the doctor to go for massage therapy to lessen the stress and I explained to the receptionist my circumstances and they explained that it was fine. They booked me with Tina never get booked with her she than told me she didn't wanna massage what I asked cus I had kidney stones and I than changed my time to 30 min to try it out she told the receptionist that she felt uncomfortable where they behind my back emailed the owner to explain she didn't want me as a client cus she was uncomfortable with the issues I had explained instead of telling me that she massaged me anyways doing what she what she wanted and talked my ear off for the whole 30 minutes and I asked her id like to be relaxed meanwhile she wouldn't stop talking about her life and stresses and totally stressed me out. I wasn't there to hear about her stresses . I was paying to relieve mine? TINA LIED TO THE OWNER SAID SHE NEVER TALKED WHOLE WAY THROUGH AND SAID SHE MASSAGES WHAT I WANTED. The parlour is saying I'm lying and that she is telling the truth! They would rather be rude to customers than be nice. I was told that the owner would call me back and than when I called they said she was busy all day and would call when it best suited her but pretty much they aren't paying me back or giving me a complimentary massage. Basically doing nothing. I will be posting my experience to my YouTube so other people don't go to Tina or this salon.

I’ve been very happy with the massages I’ve received the last few months. Recently I went to a different girl and it was just okay. The massage therapist did not press hard enough and it didn’t feel like I even got a massage. This has happened a few times to my husband. I will only book with Jen from now on (she is amazing)! The facility is very clean and everyone follows the Covid protocol. Front staff is extremely nice and helpful. Online booking is easy and convenient.

I love this place so much! It’s such a relaxing vibe and the staff are very good to me. They bill directly to your benefits which is nice. Maybe times I’ve gone for a massage and had such a great experience. Most recently I went to see Carolyn my chiropractor for an adjustment after I hurt myself pretty badly and she was spectacular!!! I could not say enough good about this place. They have rescued me more then once from severe pain! Reliable convenient and coffee efficient! Thank you Evolve for all you do for me!

I went in for chiropractic work and the next day pulled my shoulder well swimming. I went to the hospital and had to stay in line for 8 hours then they told me I tore my rotator cuff and it was definitely due to chiropractic work since both shoulders were now sore. I'm now off work for 3 months.

I have been getting regular massage treatments from Michelle McDowell for over eleven years. She is a true professional and knows her business (and muscles) well. I believe that my health has been enhanced through massage and I feel better physically and emotionally because of her treatments. I can certainly highly recommend Michelle, as well as the entire massage team. Each of their therapists is friendly and professional and they have been reassuring to work with. Their facilities are also top notch and comfortable.

I'm new to massage therapy and decided to come and see Madelyn, and it was great! She talked through my medical history with me and explained the process of the massage. I was nervous at first but she instantly made me feel comfortable. She even gave me advice on further treatments. The building is very clean, professional, and inviting. Very, very unprofessional. I was thinking about doing yoga here until a good friend of mine went for a massage there and was told AFTER his massage he needed a doctors referral. Confused and frustrated he left to go to the doctors the next day but woke up to a police phone call about how he needed to go back to pay ASAP(less than 24 hours later). Who calls the police about something as insignificant as this. That’s disgusting customer service and quite scary. The lady at the front desk is clearly racist or something so I’ll be going to FitWithin for my yoga and advise everyone to do the same.

To whom it may concern, reading these comments on the situation that occurred 2 days ago. I am the RMT who had treated a very nice gentleman, who was a new client at Evolve. We had a very nice convo during the treatment and afterwards when it was time to pay for the service, his insurance needed a doctors note (which seems to be a new policy with some companies) he was explained to that the treatment needed to be paid upfront for the service because his insurance was declined, but that he can get a doctors note dated for the day of the treatment, submit the signed receipt with the doctors note on his own, and get his money back. Moving forward his insurance would be directly billed to Evolve so he would not have to pay upfront ever again. The client refused to pay, and said he would call with a credit card ten minutes after he left. We allowed him to leave and he never called. At the time there were only three people in the room since it was the end of the night, myself, the receptionist, and my client. Hannah Dayton, was not in the building. Being accused of racism is VERY hurtful and wrong. A man of colour is just a man in our eyes. We do not discriminate and are accepting of every man and woman of all race, size, age, etc. As it should be. You are accusing me (Evolve) of something that we are not and I think this is a case of slander. The situation was simple. And blown out of proportion. I’m very sorry you think that we have made issues in any way. But we have been left without payment many times, which means we take the hit and do not get paid for our hard work and service, so we’ve decided to take situations like this seriously, and unfortunately this is what it has come to.

Very professional service! Although I had to get a doc note due to my insurance policy the first time, I was able to still do direct billing afterwards, which saves a lot of hassle. I’ve had a great experience with many massage therapists here- Mallory, Deanna, and Jen were very good and really helped with the pain I’ve been experiencing. Yoga and massage here are phenomenal. The building is nice, clean and has a homey feel. Yoga studio is cozy and intimate with tons of equipment and doesn't get overly hot. Nice change room with a shower. All staff including RMTs, yoga instructors and admins are friendly, knowledgable and skilled. I've had several massages by multiple RMTs and they've all been excellent; also loved the yoga classes I've taken. I highly recommend this place. They also do direct billing. ????????

My husband and I have been a member at Evolve for over a year. Its about time we gave credit where credit is due! From our first day there, we were made to feel comfortable and welcome. Jenn -the receptionist - quickly learned our names and has greeted us with a ready smile and cheerful comment ever since! She is always helpful and even spent the time to help my husband download the App on his phone when he was having difficulty. (He's not too techy!) We go to yoga 3x a week and look forward to that peaceful break from the chaos of normal day to day life. Erica, Mark and Alanna are beyond professional. They are eager to share their plethora of knowledge and have been so caring and supportive as we have learned the styles and poses. They have also been quick to offer support and alternative positions as arthritis made some of the poses difficult for me to do. We can't imagine going anywhere else!

Everytime i come in its always smiles and friendly greetings ???? love my chrio and RMT she is amazing so friendly and professional. I love how she incorporates and introduces you to different techniques and stretches or positions to make day to day like more managable and less painful. Such a relaxing atmosphere, warm soft beds and very very clean. Love everything about this place!

I always recommend Evolve Massage and Wellness to anyone I speak to for their massage, yoga, and chiropractic needs. There are many massage therapists to choose from that work different schedules to accommodate their clients. I can not recommend just one! Each one has their own skills and specialties, and receives amazing reviews from their clients. You can also choose from 2 very friendly chiropractors. I have never experienced a wait time here before an appt, as I have with other chiropractor offices. There are so many yoga classes and yoga instructors to meet everyone's interests and schedules! The beautiful yoga studio provides such a relaxing experience. Such an extremely organized, professional, and dedicated team and company...you must visit and see for yourself, if you already haven't!

I’ve been going to Evolve for years now for both massage and yoga. The staff are professional and fun. I would highly recommend Evolve to all my friends and family. I also wanted to comment on the latest review.... I work at a clinic and it is always the patients responsibility to pay for the services/treatment they’ve received. They then would submit their statement to their insurance company and get reimbursed that way. It is an exchange of service. You dont go to a restaurant, eat the food and then leave without paying. It’s just common sense. Thank you Evolve for always making me feel happy and relaxed when I leave. I can’t wait for my next session.

I have been coming to evolve for massage for over 2 years now and my experiences have been nothing short of amazing every time. They all go the extra mile to make every visit exceed my expectations. I will openly admit I am a demanding customer who never pre thinks when she would like an appointment and always calls or text message their full time employee Jen because she just gets me! She does everything she can to work me into someones schedule as soon as humanly possible, in fact I would go as far to say she is actually a superhero when it comes to finding an opening for customers like me! This woman seriously needs a cape! She always listens to the issues/problems I am experiencing and pairs me up with the perfect masseuse for me, that's how I discovered Cristian! This man is a miracle worker for your muscles!! I should really learn to pre-book my appointment to ensure I am left in his capable hands! In case you're still on the fence about evolve allow me to give you another example. The effort and pride Jen puts into everything she does for her customers comes so naturally and freely to her. One morning on my drive into work the morning show host for KX94.7 the station I listen to faithfully reached out to listeners who possibly were an RMT or knew of an establishment that offered massage therapy that had openings that day. I messaged Jen instantly and she told me of the all openings for this day. I relayed the information onto the host to let him know that I had found something for him! He had his first experience with Evolve that day and couldn't have been happier! Even gave them a plug on air to let everyone know! Things like this cannot be faked and are regular occurrences at Evolve! I have been to this location at many different times and have had interactions with every person who works there and every interaction has been what I believe illustrates the gold standard of customer service! I have witnessed first hand the relationships that are built with the loyal, deserving and subsequently repeat customers that walk through the doors of Evolve. My sincere thanks and praise to the staff here for all they do, and also to the owner of this location for taking the time to find a front line staff that genuinely cares about their customer's experience in every way possible.

Its easy to have a good review when you delete all your bad ones. Look im really disapointed and pissed with the performance of only one man. Chris Franco was very inapropriate. The actually place it self was very nice and i will say that the lady who gave me a massage was quite nice and very good at her job. Although i cant return as i might say and exchange my thought upon Chris and his inapropriteness with my girlfriend. I actually do recommend this place though. Just stay away from the "IET" part. I just think people should be aware that while i was getting a massage i was paying for some jerk to hit on my girlfriend in the other room.

Amazing Massage experience. I had back issues postpartum but after few sessions of Massage with Lindsay my back is a lot better. I had couple sessions of chiro with Carolyn too. She is wonderful. I highly recommend both. The place is clean and front desk people are all helpful.

Just recently started coming here a month ago . I am a client of the Chiropractic and now Osteopathic . I suffer from chronic pain and arthritis and so far I feel my visits are starting to make a small improvement ( remember I've be only been going for 1month ) . The reception desk is extremely friendly , the business itself is very clean and has a soothing atmosphere . I hope to continue to benefit from my treatments and will be adding the occasional massage . You can't go wrong coming here , I'm so happy I've begun this journey of healing with them !

I signed up for a promotional price for a 30 day unlimited yoga membership. This was my first experience with yoga. I was a little nervous, but i was motivated to do it because of poor health I found the staff at Evolve to be extremely caring and they were very helpful. I enjoy my yoga practice with a great team of instructors. They are a very positive group of people who have help me improve my mobility and greatly reduce my chronic pain. This recovery would also include regular massages, by their great RMTs and some very important Chiropractic and Acupuncture sessions to get me through some rough spots :) Thanks Dr. Carolyn! I am well enough to practice my yoga multiple time per week, and i will continue to do so. :) I have had a major change in my health and my life for the better. You can too ! :)

Evolve Massage is a wonderful company with excellent RMTs. I have been going to Evolve steadily over the last year and have never felt better. After a Motor Vehicle Accident 7 years ago I have severe neck and shoulder pain. After exploring many different avenues (chiro, physio, acupuncture) I found the only relief I could find was through massage. Michelle is extremely knowledgeable and she is able to gauge the areas that need work and the perfect amount of pressure to use. Michelle is always able to book me in when I need and is extremely friendly and professional.

I’m a nurse of 20 years with the back to prove it. I’ve seen a lot of RMT’s over the years, but now I won’t let anyone other than Melissa V at evolve touch me! She’s absolutely amazing! She has a million different techniques and interventions to use, she’s knowledgeable and goes the extra mile by giving stretching suggestions to do at home. She’s the first RMT that has me leaving in no pain after most treatments! I can’t recommend her enough!

After struggling with pain and immobility in my low back and hip for several years, I was extremely grateful to be introduced to Jodie and Stacy at Evolve. Starting with Jodie, who was able to pin point the issue and use massage therapy to work through my injuries, I was able to get the most relief I ever had exhausting many other methods of treatment. Jodie was very informative and gave me tons of knowledge on how to help myself between sessions that would benefit the healing process. To further my treatment, Jodie recommended I see Stacy for chiropractic care. Between the two of them over a short time I started being able to have more mobility and range of motion than I had in a very long time. Stacy educated me on exactly what was happening in my body and how to prevent further damage and provided me with tips to help myself. I would recommend these girls who exhibited both professionalism and personalities that allowed me to feel very comfortable. Excellent place to go!
