After struggling for years with chronic pain, anxiety and brain fog, I have seen significant improvements in these persistent issues, my over all wellbeing and self confidence after only a handful of sessions with acupuncturist Ali Jopp (TCM). As a practitioner, Ali is empathetic, supportive and sensitive to individual and unique concerns. The environment she creates in her space has allowed me to express my needs and feelings without feeling judged. The ability to help a client like myself feel comfortable and fully relaxed in a clinic setting is a challenge, and I'm extremely grateful for the care Ali takes to make this possible. Ali has also provided guidance and recommendations for continuing the healing process outside of these sessions and her insights have been invaluable to the improvement of my day to day life. I cannot begin to recommend this clinic with it's incredible staff, enough. From the moment you walk into the East Coast Wellness Clinic, a sense of calmness washes over you and you immediately feel a sense of ease and belonging. The staff genuinely cares about the needs of each and every person that visits this wonderful clinic, and it shows. Before the beginning of each session, I am always asked what has brought me in, in order to perfectly cater the massage to my needs. Afterwards, I am always given feedback on different exercises/stretches I could do at home to help my body feel its best. The East Coast Wellness Clinic staff members are always incredibly respectful and never make you feel intimidated to communicate your needs and expectations. An hour session can easily be the most relaxing, calming experience of my week. Thank you for everything you do ECWC, it has not gone unnoticed!

I could not recommend East Coast Wellness Clinic enough. I have received treatment for a hip injury, as well as recurring neck and shoulder stiffness. Kelly is always able to treat these specific areas (she is amazing a deep tissue massage), as well, she always leaves your body feeling completely relaxed. Pure bliss! It is evident that she has years of experience in massage and is excellent at discussing the treatment, or helping your understand any questions you have about the body. On top of that, the clinic has wonderful staff, and it’s in a great location downtown Halifax.
