I had a wonderful experience when I was here as part of a wedding party who were all getting our hair styled here. I wish I lived in Fredericton, because the stylist who did my hair (I wish I could remember her name!) literally made it look the best it ever has, and styled it so securely that it lasted perfectly well into the night. The rest of the wedding party all came out with beautiful hair as well, and everyone we encountered at Avalon, both at reception and the stylists, all seemed so friendly and absolutely lovely.

Avalon North is an amazing establishment. They at absolutely fantastic with children ( of which I have three that get their hair done there) and I am ther twice a month for my hair and brows. The staff ( that I see every appointment) have come to be so easy to talk with, and laugh with. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for superior service and excellent with children.

An amazing experience! The staff is so incredibly kind! I go there to get massage therapy for my shoulder, and Chelsea always gets the job done! Would 100% reccomend! The lounge is always so peaceful with some yummy granola to munch on and some water to stay hydrated! The bathroom/steam room area is spotless with lockers to keep all your belongings safe while you relax!

I have been a loyal Avalon customer for 10+ years and have always received professional, friendly and quality service. I finally managed to convince my mother to drive 1.5 hours to get her hair done professionally for the first time in many years after styling and colouring her own to the point of what we thought may be beyond repair. The lovely, fantastic and talented Sarah @AvalonNorth has been an absolute joy for me personally to have as my hairdresser and makes driving over an hour every 6-8 weeks worth the trip to spend time in her chair and feel relaxed and beautiful when you leave. I knew she would do a fantastic job fixing my mother's hair and I have to say that my mother and myself were almost in tears after her appointment today. My mom hasn't felt good about her hair in years and I can tell from just a photo that Sarah went above and beyond; listened to her requests and preferences and made her feel the most fabulous she's felt in a long time. Thank you SO SO much. <3

Friendly staff that greets you immediately. I was able to be slid in for a cancellation, and I was in a great deal of pain, so I appreciated this. Staff is knowledgeable and happy. The building is clean, bright, and they're taking measures to curve COVID with protective facemasks, booties (couldn't think of a masculine word), and asking prescreening questions. Will be back.

Exactly what I needed. Professional skilled staff. Such a beautiful serene atmosphere. The best place to go in the city as far as I'm concerned. I can't think of one negative thing. I would recommend leaving your phone off the entire time if possible just so you can completely relax and get the full effect of the spa.

Horrible. The stylist didn't understand what was described but cut anyway. It was only after the fact that she said she didn't know what she was doing. The hair I had been growing for almost a year is gone with a butcher job to deal with. Beyond disappointed.

We went for my young daughter to get her hair dyed back to her original color and a trim to cut off split ends. The hair dresser herself did an awesome job and was super friendly. Id given her 4 stars if the review was for her. However I gave them 2 stars due to the fact that we went in for a consultation and was quoted a price and told that if more bowls of dye was needed that the price would go up about 20 a bowl. That the quote only included 1 bowl of dye ( my daughter has almost waste length hair). I was there the whole time and there was only one bowl of dye used. Which to my understanding should have been included in price quote. For some reason our final price was about 50 dollars more the what we were quoted at our free consultation. Unfortunately even though they did a good job, I will not return for I think almost 200 for a solid color to be put in and a trim is way over price, especially when being told a it would be around 130 to 140.
