I began seeing Peter Marley at the beginning of July, within these last two months I’ve not only seen a improvement, but I’ve also become more self aware of my own body. I went into our sessions with a core/abdominal issue, and within 1 thorough evaluation of strengthening exercises, he was able to narrow the issue down to my feet. Yesterday I had my last session with him, and thanks to all his advice and techniques I now have a bases to start running again, and new exercises that I can incorporate in my daily life. Physio doesn’t work for everyone, and I truly believe it’s because not everyone’s body’s are the same, and some people don’t continue with the exercises. However, if you’re needing help, and are willing to be open minded and determined, Lab Health Physio can 100% help and give you an idea of what’s wrong. Best experience I’ve ever had with a Physio by far, 5 starts all around.

I am a walker and proud of being able to walk briskly to stay fit. With COVID I have been spending much more time on my computer and in a chair. This lead to stress on my body that aggravated nerves and tightened muscles. I could not walk my grandson to his school 250m away because of the pain. I tried massage with little impact. Peter Marley was fantastic. With two appointments I was again walking briskly and two months later I am still walking briskly. Thank you Peter. If you like more detail like I do, here it is. I met physiotherapist Peter Marley. I was impressed with the one-on-one approach to patients. The initial assessment was thorough. Peter has keen observation skills. He ensured I understood and could do properly the recommended exercises. Peter understood the impact that my polio had on my right side in affecting flexibility. He gave clear instruction on how to adapt the exercises to the right side and still be effective. Peter realized that the extended tightness of my glut muscles would benefit from needling (IMS - Inter Muscular Stimulus). The IMS was done during the first visit and in the following two weeks it created longer relief than massage therapy provided. Peter told me to expect the IMS benefit to dissipate over the time following the first treatment, because the muscles were so tight it would probably take additional treatment(s) and following the exercises. After the second treatment session with more IMS and revised exercises the pain has stayed away. I unreservedly recommend Peter Marley, Physiotherapist.
