Renata Alook at Integrated Therapies has been an awesome RMT for me for the past two years. I'm quite active (crossfit, ball hockey, mountain biking, running) and get very sore but always feel a big improvement after a session with her. She will chat with you if you feel like it... but she is also good at working in silence and letting you focus on breathing and relaxing. For me she incorporates Japanese Mint Oil which is also a really nice touch when I am extra sore, which is common. I highly recommend Renata and you can also use the Mind Body app to make booking very convenient.

I recently went for my first treatment here and it was wonderful. The space is beautiful and everyone is welcoming. If you want deep tissue I definitely recommend Paul! He's the first person I've had in a long time that really goes for the deep pressure and his use of pressure points really opened me up. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Would recommend

When I came to integrated therapies, I had been experiencing pain in the left side of my lower back for over two years. I had seen and follow treatment with a physiotherapist and a chiropractor, but they were not able to really diagnose what was causing the inflammation. They were treating my symptoms and as soon as I would stop going, the pain would come back. When I started seeing Mariano, he found the root cause of my pain the very first day and worked from here. After a couple of sessions my pain started changing and then slowly releasing. He did not only ease up the pain, but taught me to create more awareness with my back. I am happy to say that I finish my treatment with him almost two months ago and I am pain free. Not only that, I can keep up with all my physical activities and not worry about how I am going to wake up the next day. He is really magical with those needles. I experienced him as very knowledgeable, kind and professional. I highly recommend him to anyone.

I was an almost 60, physically fit man with a problem. Walking was painful. Stairs were frightening. I wore knee and ankle supports to work and to work out. I saw a few physiotherapists but they did not help. My doctor diagnosed osteoarthritis and prescribed cortisone. Then I had a few visits with Anne Liebhart. After a quick assessment she helped me change a few habits and showed me some simple exercises. Fast forward 2 years and the supports, pain and stair fear are gone. Update: I was provided with a 60 minute deep tissue massage and was recommended to book with Susana. Susana was amazing, she truly knows how to do a deep tissue massage and she seems like an incredible person from the short time I spent with her. I highly recommend Susana, but I still do not believe that Frank should be listed as a deep tissue massage therapist on their website as that is very misleading and was a waste of time and money. I never write bad reviews but I was so disappointed with my experience today that I decided to write something. Last night I was in a lot of pain and decided to book a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Frank for this morning. I should've known better than to book with someone with next day availability. This was the furthest thing from deep tissue. The pressure was that of a relaxation massage, as he was lightly guiding his palms over my legs and back without putting pressure, except I was the furthest thing from relaxed because I kept trying to work up the nerve to ask him to press harder. Typically during a massage, the masseuse will ask if the pressure is okay which he did not, so I finally asked him to press harder and he told me that he could not press harder because the neck is a delicate area. I have had many deep tissue massages, and I have never had a masseuse say the maximum pressure you can put on the neck is a flat hand grazing over the skin. So I asked him if he could use harder pressure for the rest of the massage as I assumed I was nowhere near finished since he had barely touched my neck and back, spending the majority of the time working on my legs although I specifically requested that he focus on my neck and back. Nope, the massage was finished once he stopped touching my neck... after 75 minutes. I even double checked the time of which the appointment was supposed to end and it said 11:45 but when he finished the massage and left the room, my phone said 11:30. I wasn't even taken back into the massage room until after 10, and then we still talked about why I was there and then he left the room for a while so I could change and get on the table. I paid for an extra half hour and only received 15 minutes of it, if even that. I left today not only feeling just as sore as when I arrived, but the exact opposite of relaxed after paying almost $140 (because the price went up 6 days ago) and not feeling the benefits. Although most of that was covered by insurance, I have a very limited amount of money towards massage/acupuncture and this 75 minute, definitely not deep tissue massage took a significant portion of that. Very disappointing, and although I am sure there are great masseuse's at this location because of the great reviews that originally gave them my business, I cannot help but feel that Frank is not one of them.

My sister introduced me to Integrated Therapies and recommended I try Bowen Therapy with Anne. I went in with an open mind as I didn’t know what to expect and I walked out feeling great! Anne is extremely knowledgeable and very encouraging, she helped me in practicing proper posture and showed me some exercises that I can do to help strengthen my muscles. The work she does on my muscles has really made a difference in how I stand, I feel much looser and in so much less pain! This is the first time I have gone to Integrated Therapies and Holly gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I have had in years. I feel the range of motion in my shoulder improved. Over the years I have been to Intergrated Therapies too many times to count for massage, and yoga. This review is of Mariano, Acupuncturist and Osteopath and co owner. I came to Mariano with a back injury from overexercising on the trampoline . After 3 visits in Mariano's care my pain and lack of flexibility was completely gone. He not only did his needle magic but massaged me, used cups , heat ,and recommended a medicinal oil to rub on. His care feels personal and is professional all in one. The facility is clean, serene and just the right atmosphere for relaxation. I have been very satisfied with the covid measures they have in place for the safety of staff and clients. Val adds to the experience by being considerate, and accommodating and also provides great communication about clinic changes and adjustments that have been required due to covid-19. If you go to Integrated Therapies I HIGHLY recommend getting your massage treatment from Renata Alook. She gives a great deep tissue massage and definitely knows how to target any problem areas- she's also great at giving relaxation massages! All of the staff I have encountered are very friendly, and have worked hard to create a calm environment in the house. As soon as you walk in, you are no longer in the loud and busy city, you are in a serene retreat. If it were realistic, I would go here every day.

I am having ongoing acupuncture and Thai therapies with Mariano and, oh boy. Mariano knows what he is doing. Mariano is such a wonderful massage therapist. He is very ethical, compassionate, skilled at his field, and knowledgeable. I have all kind of conditions, from body pain to lack of appetite, and you name it. The first massage has done wonders to me, and I am getting better ever since I started seeing him. I am definitely looking forward to continue getting his treatments. I have started to get regular in my sleeping patterns because of his combined Thai and acupuncture therapies. The other big benefits of that little charming place is that while it is in a secluded corner, yet it is so accessible from Whyte Av, there is no problem finding parking on the street, and there is parking for clients on the back of the office as well. A big thank you to Mariano for such an excellent service and help! I am so gratefully for having found this place. I would say, this is a little jewel hiding in Edmonton.

I have had Acupuncture and massage with Mariano. He is a master of his art! During each of my many appointments over the past few years, I have felt that Mariano has heard my concerns and has put both his heart and great expertise into his treatments. I always feel much better after a visit to Mariano. I have also seen Frank for massage. I feel very comfortable asking for what I want with Frank - more or less pressure, for example, and I find Frank to be very responsive. Integrated Therapies is a glorious little oasis of wellness. I couldn't recommend it more highly. I've been seeing Mariano for a number of years for acupuncture and massage, and he keeps me balanced and well. His acupuncture treatments control my irregular heartbeat so I don't have to take stupefying betablockers, and he also keeps a couple of other chronic conditions well-mediated without medication. I take individual yoga lessons with Sole, who is an exceptional teacher - gentle and encouraging and patient. I'm not exactly athletic but she adapts to accommodate whatever challenges I'm facing, and coordinates with Mariano to support his treatments. I feel so wrap-around cared for by these lovely people.

Dont let reviews fool you. I was in so much pain and could not move my neck, otherwise i would have walked out. Only went here because my regular place was booked. The room was cold, the bed had hair on it from last person and the face holder had fresh make up on it from last person. Massage was not good either.

I've been to Integrated Therapies a couple of times now for a massage and it has been a great experience. I love the building and the location is perfect for me. Online booking is very important to me and this combined with the great reviews are why I selected here for a massage. I booked with Frank and I felt comfortable discussing the issues I am having with my back. He listened to me and tailored my massage to relieve the pain I am experiencing. I will continue to come here for massage and potentially some of the other services they offer.

Came here to do a couples massage with my bf a few days ago for our anniversary, it was both our first times getting an actually massage. When arriving to the place, we were greeted by the lovely receptionist who made us feel like home. While getting the massage I kind of wished they actually focused more on the areas me and my bf explained to do but that doesn’t mean they did a terrible job. My husband and I have been coming here for the last 5 or 6 months for couples massage and we always return knowing we will be treated well. As with everything, I reviewed this place, much like many others have. After reading through, we chose to set up our first appointment with Frank and Alyssia. Setting up appointments seems to be simple when you have the opportunity to set it up online. being that we schedule couple's massages, we are required to call in. This has never been an issue, the web booking still helps determine dates and times available for our therapists. Some businesses make it difficult to want to call, but each person who has answered the phone has been pleasant and kind. We never have an issue booking, rebooking or cancelling appointments, which is a big plus for us. We are now into our 6th or 7th appointment and we try to go in every month. Frank and Alyssia are still our go to therapists. If you are looking for a great massage and staff who make you feel welcome and ensure you leave feeling refreshed and relaxed, Frank and Alyssia are a sure bet. Before every massage, we talk with our respected therapists about what areas we feel need to be worked on and how we’ve been doing. I had my first appointment with Karina last week (deep tissue massage). She was very kind and welcoming, and she made an extra effort to address my particular needs before we began the massage, to make me extra comfortable! I had woke up with a cold that morning, so she put a tissue with peppermint oil beneath the massage table so I could breathe easier, and she suggested to put a pillow underneath my stomach to reduce the strain on my lower back during the massage (as it is extra curved). I was very impressed with her level of awareness and attention. She also gave extra tips on how I could improve my posture to reduce neck pain; she seemed to be very knowledgeable. The massage itself was excellent; the best I have ever had. Additionally, the facility is beautiful, clean, and there is free parking at the back of the building. I love business that are in houses- so welcoming and calming! Highly recommended.

I received an excellent Acupuncture session with Dr Yangyang Xu. Yangyang has a gentle manner, is very thorough with her questioning and gave me really helpful advise with other ways that I could support my treatment . I could not really feel the needles go into my body, but as I lay there I could feel the tingling of the energy from each needle, moving and becoming warm. I felt things moving in my first session and am coming to Dr Yangyang for the next few weeks on her advise to continue with treatment. I would highly recommend coming to Dr Yangyang for Acupuncture. I have had various treatments recently at Integrated Therapies and would highly recommend the therapists that I have had treatment with :- Mariano Torres treated me for pain in my lower back that was becoming so intense, - any kind of movement was difficult. He has a warm, kind manner that with his sensitivity and knowledge of Acupuncture - holds a safe and caring space in which I could trust and totally relax. My back pain was greatly helped in the first appointment, and a day later, with rest the nerve pain had completely gone. Mariano is an excellent knowledgeable and experienced Acupuncturist. Anne Liebhart has a unique sensitivity as a massage therapist to know why and where the issues are in the body without having to say anything. She reads the body like a map and follows the directions to the center of the issue. I have had both Craniosacral therapy and Bowen Therapy, and continue to do so, as both these treatments are not only easing muscular tension in my upper back, but realigning my posture. Anne is very knowledgeable and brings her many years of experience together in her work, making her sessions really very unique.

Frank is AMAZING. History: I have periods of severe back pain due to my desk job and a spine condition and there are days where I can barley even move. I experience a sharp stabbing pain in my neck and back and sleeping during those times is near impossible as any movement causes extreme pain and wakes me up. I have tried so many Massage Therapists over the years, and have had a range of experiences from absolutely terrible to just okay. I never stuck with one person for very long. I gave 2 stars because out of the 5 times I have booked I actually got in there like 2 of those times as they ALWAYS cancel!! My girlfriend hasn't made it in once because they cancel. The massages itself was amazing which is why I have tried multiple times, but even the ones I made it to was because the person I booked with cancelled and I had to re-book with someone else. So yes if you have the time to waste go there. If you are busy with an already demanding schedule this place (south) is not reliable what so ever. Unfortunately I will NOT be booking again :(

I booked a cupping session and right before the session (as I was taking my socks off) the therapist indicated they didn’t have the cups. They offered an alternative treatment or to cancel the session. What irritates me is that the cancellation policy is really strict and one sided for the benefit of the business. They make you sign an acknowledgment form indicating that if you can’t provide adequate notice you will get charged; yet, when they don’t provide adequate notice to cancel the session, there is no recourse. I even provided the feedback to the business and they didn’t make an effort to make things right. Wouldn’t recommend. Edit: For clarity, they did try contact me again after writing this review (the Friday of a long weekend). What prompted me to write this review (nearly 6 months later) was a friend of mine experienced getting charged the full price of a treatment when they couldn’t reasonably make it to their appointment. My friend provided approx. 4 hours notice with a reason as to why they couldn’t make it to their appointment (emergency house repair). This business should reconsider their cancelation policy and have some compassion for their customers. Why take the risk with this policy?

I used to go here regularly but moved further away so opted for a closer masseuse... but the other day had a crick in my back from travelling and had to book a massage at the last minute, and wow, what an experience. why did i ever leave?? great experience for booking, the facility is beautiful, as well as had a great massage from Nicoletta. A few days after the massage I still feel tense and feel like this has been no help. This was my first time getting a deep tissue massage and in no way was I impressed. When I walked in there was nobody downstairs to greet me making it uncomfortable right from the beginning. The massage itself felt amateurish, even having him forget to attend an area. There was no regard for how my body was set during the massage making it uncomfortable at times. The guy I had also didn't have his nails cut so often times I was getting stabbed by his nails whenever he applied pressure and he continuously held a conversation which made it difficult to relax. I didn't see a business card of the guy I had so maybe he's not permanent staff, but regardless, I was less than happy with the massage and honestly felt a little ripped off. Aside from all that, the staff seemed nice which is why they get one star.

But yeah nice & warm ambience and something different as in when you go places like spas being in residential setup but yet professional approach. I like it. The only thing to mention is a parking bit of issue. I would suggest to go with little extra time in case you need to struggle a bit for parking being offices around. But you also might get lucky.

My experience at Integrated Therapies was always positive back when I was seeing Suzanne and Emily. The space is warm and inviting, staff is nice, and both therapists were fantastic at providing deep tissue massages and focusing on the areas I requested. However, neither therapist is at the establishment anymore and my recent visit was not as positive. I booked a deep tissue massage and specifically requested the therapist focus on my back and shoulders, and not massage my legs or glutes. Unfortunately she spent over 40 minutes massaging my arms and the small muscles in my side, and only spent about 10 minutes ineffectively rubbing my back, with no pressure used on any of my problem areas and knots (I had requested deep pressure at the beginning of our appointment). She also massaged the top of my glutes, which I had specifically asked her not to. Near the end of my appointment, she began massaging the back of my head but in a way that my hair was uncomfortably scrubbing against my scalp (and likely damaging my hair), and then massaging my face and temples by aggressively pulling and dragging the skin back. At this point I spoke up and asked if she could stop massaging my face, which is something I have never asked a therapist to do before as to not be disrespectful of their technique and process. However, the experience was just so uncomfortable and I couldn't help but think pulling my skin like that was not good for it, nor was using the same gloves that had at that time been used on the rest of my body on my face. This was probably the most ineffective and uncomfortable massage I have ever had. I will unfortunately not be visiting this clinic again, and I also have to wonder why many of their therapists have left.

I recently went to Miami and had a BBL procedure done (Brazilian butt lift, liposuction and fat grafting). After getting my lymphatic drainage massages in Miami, I was told more than once since the procedure isn't as popular yet in Canada it would be hard to find a proper massage therapist who could do post-lipo lymphatic massage properly, and so I should learn to do it myself. It was way too painful so I started booking trial appointments at multiple studios with multiple therapists- all telling me on the phone, yes, they were experienced in post liposuction lymphatic drainage massage. None of them came anywhere near what is done in Miami, until I met Paul at Integrated therapies. When you are dealing with potential seromas and scar tissue issues you NEED someone who has experience. Your results depend on it!! Aftercare is just as important as the surgery itself. Don't waste time with other massages in Edmonton, go right to Paul!
