I have been seeing Lauren for over 4 years now and I would highly recommend her services of massage therapy. I started going to Lauren on the recommendation of a classmate when I was a dental hygiene student at Dalhousie. Her massage clinic is conveniently located on the Dentistry campus! I continue to see Lauren regularly for therapy and preventative maintenance that is extremely beneficial to continue my career. Her techniques are both relaxing and therapeutic. The clinic space is clean and cozy. Lauren is kind and professional and I would consider her a friend. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a trusted massage therapist in Halifax, then call Lauren. You can even book online and she does direct billing, which is so convenient!

Unprofessional and prejudiced business. I called them to inquire about whether they offer in-home massages for a group. I had also left my full name and phone number with them for a call back. I received a call back from someone who wanted to know more details about my inquiry. Assuming that they do offer such service, I explained to them the nature of my request and that I was in charge of planning an event for a group. I told them about the timeframe, the individuals and their needs. The lady over the phone told me that there is a lot of scam calls like mine recently inquiring about group massage from a phone number that is not a Nova Scotian number (mine is not an NS number). She very quickly assumed that I was a scammer without asking for any details and continued on by saying that "I am a part of the group who monitor such calls and we are onto you!". Without any questions or leaving me a chance to clarify her doubts, she hung up the phone. I called them back and there was no answer. I left a message on their phone saying that I would like to speak to the owner before I leave a negative review. I told them that I felt judged based on my non-NS phone number and a name that she is not familiar with. The person who represented this business on the phone was anything but professional or competent in customer service, if not racist.

Excellent service, clean, cozy, trustworthy, friendly and professional. Lauren is very aware of the body, how it moves and all the muscles. She actively works to making it feel better. Went in with lower back pain, walked out feeling 10X better. Recommend.
