Worst experience EVER. We called ahead to specifically make sure that we wouldn’t get a Swedish massage, but a deep tissue sports massage or shiatsu, and when we get there, the masseurs are only trained on Swedish. The receptionist was hard to communicate with and certainly didn’t show any concern for the fact that we left half way through the massage, or apologize for misleading us. We had scheduled a 1.5 hr couples massage, but we absolutely had to get off the table early - couldn’t take any more of that! The room also gets noise from the street which is distracting.

My partner and I came here for a couples massage a while ago. It was so serene and restorative! The masseuse I had was great for working out all the pains I needed her to. She adjusted to my pain tolerance and got some great releases. My partner, likewise, had a great experience and had since been back several times.

The place is definitely dated, especially for being on "Yorkville" and charging those prices too, it doesn't really have the spa feel you'd expect to find. I opt-in for the deep tissue, sports massage, it was pretty rough and felt more like swedish deep tissue (quite painful and most was done using an elbow), we ended up finishing it earlier than we originally booked for (1.5 hour) and we left after (1 hour), simply because we weren't enjoying it. The lady at the front desk, made a face as if we're so bad for leaving earlier, instead of apologizing and asking what went wrong, she took the payment for 1 hour + tip, which I was fine with paying, but don't make me feel guilty for the fact that I didn't enjoy it to - and instead ask me why I didn't and if there's anything you can do to make it better - non of which happened unfortunately.

Excellent service! I have been coming to YMT a few times now. The service is always very cordial and warm. The receptionist always recognizes me, which makes me feel even more welcomed. My masseuse is Rain, she is just awesome. Always attentive to my expectations and very thorough in her treatment. I didn't even hesitate in coming back during this covid19 once their place was allowed to reopen. I was confident about the cleanliness and high standard I have witnessed with their staff members, even before the pandemic. I recommend the place to anyone who is looking for both therapeutic and relaxing massage place. Even my husband loves it too now!

I really like Yorkville massage therapy (YMT) I found this place 6 years ago and I still go back there. When I moved out from the Yorkville neighbourhood I preferred to find a new massage place closer to my house but since I am again relatively close to YMT I’ve decided to renew my regular visits. It was so nice to get back there. All the stuff is super friendly and professional.

the website is ugly and it asks you for your credit card to book. To cancel, you need to call them. You can't do it through their website like other places. Very outdated. The massage table is uncomfortable. Other places have softer tables. My face felt very uncomfortable. The best thing are the RMTs and receptionist.

Great staff, it can get fairly noisy at times depending on how many people are on the floor and what’s going on outside, which is why I’ve given it 4/5. Josef is my main therapist, and he’s great. I’m typically a chatty person, and it’s nice that he is willing to also converse with me. That being said, there are times when I want silence and that’s OK too. He’s really helped me with my knots and offered nice tips, tricks, and exercises to help me reduce my pain. He’s the main reason I keep coming back to this clinic. The reception staff keeps changing, but they seem to do a good job hiring because they’ve all been good. You’re able to book online, fairly simple and I enjoy that. I like seeing online schedules, so this works for me.

I go here for RMT massages. Easy online booking through the website, and amazing massages. I work in front of a computer desk all day, so sometimes get wrist pains from using my mouse. Since getting massage therapy I don't get the pains anymore, and I feel way more refreshed. Ling is the RMT I go to and she is amazing. Highly recommend!

Received a massage three weeks ago and ended up with a minor injury. My shoulder was worked on and the work of the masseuse cause swelling and bruising(aside from the regular bruising one would receive from a massage). I was unable to sit up straight for two weeks, my shoulders were slumped, and I could not lift my arm. I reached out to the spa and have yet to receive a response. I definitely think something like this should have been addressed. My husband and I will probably find a new place for massages. EDIT** I am changing my review to one star. I have reached out to the company and nobody has acknowledged. My back now has even more pain that it did before. I now have sharp, tingling pains down the left side of my back. DO NOT GO HERE.

I saw Rain who is amazing!!! She gave me a deep tissue massage which was super effective - it was VERY deep and at times painful, but she relaxed areas that I didn't even realize were tense. The office is no-frills and felt more clinical than spa-like, but it was exactly what I needed and I'll absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend!!!!!

Always amazing and friendly service! I regularly see Angela and she always remembers me and my preferences, even though regularly for me means once every 3-4 months. The front desk woman is always pleasant. There is a review below mine as the most recent from "For Twenty." That person is an absolute troll and only gives 1 star reviews to every single establishment. Honestly if they were rude to this person, they likely deserved it given how atrocious and rude all their reviews are.

Probably the best massage I've ever had! I saw Josef and he was fantastic. He does an excellent job, asks you what kind of pressure you like, and (best of all!) doesn't force you to make small talk! I highly recommend him. The person at the front desk was also so friendly and welcoming. I've booked multiple new appointments, and I'm looking forward to going back! I will echo some of the other comments that if you're in the room right next to the reception area you can hear everything happening outside the room, but that wasn't a big deal for me.

Yorkville Massage Therapy is a great place to receive a massage! There are many therapists who specialize in various types of massages so you are able to receive the best massage for you. My therapist what Tinika, and she was fantastic. She knew where all of my tight spots were and throughout the whole massage she made me feel very comfortable. On top of the massage I received being great, the staff was also very kind and the atmosphere of the clinic was relaxing. I would definitely recommend YMT to anyone!

Very nice massage with reasonable pricing. Staffs are very welcoming and call you one day before to remind your appointment. Each therapist has their own way of massage. I tried couple different therapists and found two therapists that I love the most! The place is not large but it feels clean and neat.The only downside is that the wall seems to be very thin, so if you are in the room right near the reception desk and there are people talking in the hallway, you can hear pretty clearly which sometimes destroy the mood. Also they use oil massage but there's no shower room so you'll need to go home to clean up.

YMT.me is clean and has a warm and comfort atmosphere, the receptionist is friendly and helpful. My therapist is skilled and knowledgeable. She knows how treat me and answer any questions I asked. It is a fantastic massage clinic. The atmosphere is calming and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. They have a great range of registered massage therapists who specialize in different aspects of massage therapy. I would highly recommend Tinika Coleman. She makes you feel very comfortable and knows the body's anatomy. She found all my pressure points and knew exactly what to do to relive the stress off my upper back. Overall, its a great massage clinic and I would definitely come back
