This place is magic. I mean it, I had a TMJ pain that no one could get rid of and I combined the unbelievable talents of ArcoIris with my trusted osteopath and it was almost instantaneous relief. They do wonderful reiki therapies as well, but if that's not your thing - they know what they're doing when it comes to body treatments. Could not recommend them more highly!

I have struggled with chronic pain since 2013 and was seeing a chiropractor to manage the symptoms, and while that worked for me, it wasn't until 2018 that I had the opportunity to work with the wonderful massage practitioners at Arco Iris. I am lucky to live near their Montreal-West location, as Filomena and Sandra have come to the rescue on more than one occasion when my chronic pain has flared up. Fil and Sandra both have unique and effective touches; Fil understands the body intuitively and follows the knots to their source, kneading them out with a firm hand that I trust deeply. Sandra has a gentler touch and has had me connect and work with my body to release tension through breathing and energy work, which is a practice she is extremely dedicated to which is evident by her array of newly available services. My neck and upper back has been giving me more trouble in the last few years, and one morning I woke up practically unable to turn my head without pain. My neck and shoulders were all locked up. Fil was able to bring me a tremendous amount of relief that same day, and has aided me in alleviating a lot of my chronic pain. I can definitely tell the difference in the tension in my body when I am not able to see her regularly, and can vouch for the effectiveness of her work as a massage therapist. Fil has incredible experience with the body across multiple fields and is able to apply them to her massage practice. She is personable and dedicated and I am very glad to have such good quality care from her.

The massage services that are offered by Arcolris are absolutely divine. I requested a massage for myself and my 16-year-old teen. I had my massage with Filomena. I was very happily surprised that she noticed immediately where my tensions were even though I had been ignoring my shoulder pain and forgot to mention it. Her expert treatment of my back and shoulder was very soothing and effective. Filomena’s ability to read one’s physiology so well is one of the rarest and most important aspects in a massage therapist, IMHO. We were so delighted that Sandra has advanced qualifications for child and teen massage. This was clearly reflected in the big smile on my child’s face after the massage. Soon, I look forward to trying more treatments offered by Arcolris, including cupping and Reiki.

My initial experience at AcroIris began in 2012, after I'd been going to see an Osteopath for a few months to successfully repair some damage that I had done to my shoulder. However, the entire right side of my back began to feel quite strained and then I developed a persistent pain near the bottom of my neck that I couldn’t get rid of even after having had received an additional two osteopathic treatments specifically for this issue. After just a couple of minutes with Sandra, her magical hands found just about every single and tense spot from my neck right down to my rib cage. A few days later, the areas that had been “frozen”, had finally unfrozen and the pain was mostly GONE, after just (1) massage. More recently I have had both massages and combined Reiki sessions with Filomena which I found to be deeply relaxing, soothing and highly beneficial to me, beyond the usual physical relaxation experienced during a typical massage session. I would describe Filomena not only as a certifed professional but as "a natural", as well. During one of my sessions with her (where I chose a combined massage and Reiki session). She not only applied the customary massage and Reiki techniques as she worked through all the accumulated tensions in my body but also brought her amazing intuition to the table.
