Full disclosure: I've never actually had the opportunity to use any of the services at this spa. I would have however, hence the reason for my 'review'. Having searched Google for an acupuncturist in Richmond Hill, I came across their website and navigated to the acupuncture page to learn more about their services. There, I noticed a special they were offering whereby I could purchase the initial 90 minute consultation and an included first session of acupuncture for $120 - a saving of $50 off the original price of $170. Now, by this point, I've done some research and although this spa isn't the least expensive by far, judging by their website and the qualifications of their staff, I decide to head to their location to purchase the aforementioned special for my wife for Christmas. When I arrive, I mention the special to the staff member at the reception and she gives me a quizzical look as though she doesn't know what I'm talking about. I say "the one on your website", and she proceeds to open said website to confirm. "Oh, no. That special ended yesterday, we got an email about that, yeah its over". So I reinsert my preferred payment method back into my wallet and leave with no argument. Normally, I would protest that since the special is being advertised they should honour the advertised price (it is still being advertised on their website as of today, the day after I went there). I didn't. The reason I didn't is because I'm not going to patronize a business who would instruct their staff to turn business away. I'm no mathematician, but refusing to honour a price special and losing $120 for the sake of $50, seems a tad foolish. Not to mention the additional $70 on sessions my wife would have been spending each week for several months. So let this be a cautionary tale to all small business owners: do the math and teach your staff to be ambassadors of your business. This particular member of this businesses staff just lost them hundreds of dollars to their competition. Word of mouth works both ways you see. Stay on top of your promotional marketing and if a special has expired, remove it from your website or honour the pricing. Otherwise, don't be upset when revenue walks out the door and across the street to your competition.

She informed me about the various products she was using and answered all of my questions. The bonus is that she is really, really nice (as are all of the staff including reception) that I didn't want to leave. Looking forward to my next treatment with Leslie!

I've mainly used the sauna service here but I look forward to trying some of the other services of which there's a wide variety. I have known this place for 20+ years. I love this house. It's the best place to spend a few hours on yourself and get pampered. The receptionists are so delightful to deal with and so accomodating. I have been seeing Pina Diminno for colonics and cannot believe how amazing she is. So professional, knowledgeable and efficient. It's so relaxing to have my session with her. I owe her a ton as she has helped me to restore my health and energy levels following an illness. I love to relax here so i'm soon planning a full day of ME!!!!!

I booked online two massage sessions separately but cancelled one of them later by replying to confirmation letter of that specific session. When I was there for receiving the massage service, I found out they have cancelled both sessions by mistake. The lady at reception even not offered an apology to me! Therapist was great, procedure went well. Place smelled like a dreamland and the music was really relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised by the discount given to first time procedure The receptionist was pleasant and attended to me right away. The only reason I didn’t give 5* was because when I called to make the appointment it was put on hold immediately and wasn’t given a time frame to wait, took 8 minutes to speak to someone. I was grateful they fit me in the next though. Also as another poster mentioned there isn’t a lot of parking and if it weren’t for someone leaving at the time I would’ve had to park somewhat down the street.

I would like to share my great experience with Reggie.I was involved in an accident which caused me lower back pain. I have been changing my therapists until I met Reggie. I have noticed huge improvements in my range of motion and pain reduction after my 1st treatment with her. She is an excellent communicator and passionate about her profession. I visit usually during the morning and afternoon. Quite busy for such a small space, so don't expect seating to be available ALL the time. The waiting chairs are pretty comfortable. There's water and public washrooms if you need it. I don't recommend the place for wheelchair accessibility, as the space is very small. The female staff so far have been polite. They allow you to keep some clothing on if you are uncomfortable, Although I believe your back must be exposed in order to benefit fully from massages. Only one small complaint would be that I do find sessions painful when they get near my shoulders (or focus a part of my sessions on them). I've tried voicing this concern, but unfortunately because I'm too much of a push-over, I've ended up giving up on my comfort. PLEASE NOTE that despite the momentary pain, the atmosphere still makes me drowsy and relaxed. So all in all, it's not bad.

I've been going here for years and honestly have loved their services however I recently booked an appointment for a back massage. 24 hours before my massage, I called in and rescheduled the time. despite being in immense pain and not being able to properly walk, when I showed up ON TIME for my massage, there was no one there, and one of the masseuses informed me that my name wasn't in the system. Upon emailing them, instead of apologizing for the inconveniences causes, the owner responded and insinuated that I was lying and that the appointment was never rescheduled (my partner was next to me and the receptionist was on speaker and the call log is on my phone). what kind of service is that? rude. rude. rude.

I just had a 60-min RMT massage done by Nguher. I’ve been to 3 different massage places for the last few years and always left in aches and pains, without any relaxation. This time I finally got the massage I wanted. My massage with Nguher is the best I’ve ever gotten in my life. It was so smooth flowing, so relaxing, so well-targeted, I can go on and on. Also a very clean massage room with fresh sheets, which was very nice to see. I came to this place for the first time for my left shoulder pain and lack of movement. The receptionist was warm and friendly. The place is very cozy too. Angela was my osteopath specialist. She is amazing. After checking my posture carefully and a very good assessment, she started her work. She knew her job very well and after the first session, there was a big change on my pain. Their Spa services is the latest addition and I have to say I just love April and Sue.!!! Facials, Dermabrasion and Peels...my skin has never looked better They offer weekly specials that just cant be missed!!! My favorite service at the moment is TIGHTFX.... I have struggled with a spare tire around my waist for many years..... Eating right, yoga, giving up wheat and dairy would not make it go away. I had lost over 100 pounds but the roll around my waist would not leave me. I have been going for weekly TIGHTFX treatments and the results are AMAZING... My belly skin is tighter, the ripples under my skin are gone and my tire is SHRINKING!!!!! For anyone who has ever struggled with fat deposits in parts of your body that just wont go away. TIGHTFX is the natural way to get rid of them.

Horrible experience with Audrey during a reflexology appointment . I arrived ten minutes late, and had called to inform the therapist I was running late, quickly got rushed to my room which was not very relaxing, it was very bright with natural light. Audrey was rude, had a lot of attitude and made me feel uncomfortable, she acted very disinterested. I asked her if she could also do some hand reflexology, she replied No. She spoke down to me, I'm not sure if it's because I'm much younger, but that's no excuse to Be-little clients. Then I understand I was late, however I did call, and I don't think that's good customer service to charge someone for a 45 min session, when I only received a 30 min session. I definitely will not be repeating or recommend this place, it's a shame because I thought I found a new favourite spa, the website and services sound promising, and I was so eager to try them all out! , and staff are so friendly on the phone! :(

No one in their early-20s should be suffering from the kind of back pain that causes someone's body to seize up. But I am one of those lucky individuals who managed to age beyond my years. Having a physically demanding job for anywhere between 20 to 35 hours a week does not help. I went to see Dr. J. Viscomi and needless to say, she has done wonders in working on healing my back in no time at all; legit, in five sessions over a period of time I was still working. She's a punctual and professional miracle worker.

Spent the morning at the spa. Massage and sauna. Fantastic! Service was great. Joanna the RMT was excellent, and followed it by the infra red sauna for an hour. Clean, and detoxifying. Perfect end to the morning. I’ve already booked my next two visits!

This review is only about the receptionist Melanies unpleasant and unprofessional attitude. She is extremely rude, and has no idea on how customer service works. I’m a regular here and see both chiros, as well as come here for massages and facials with my husband. I just spent $400 here and really not impressed with her terrible service. Also the lady who paid before me gave her feedback that she didn’t enjoy the last 15 min of her massage as people were talking loudly, and Melanie stared at her without saying anything. I have owned many businesses, for your sake replace her.

They never answer their phones and when I left messages, it took forever for them to get back to me. When I finally got in there, the place looked dirty. The bathroom upstairs had paper towels all over the floor because the garbage can was overfull and it smelled really bad. and the energy in there was really strange. I won't be going back!

Sunday was my first time at Richmond Hill Natural Therapies. I got the 60 min RMT massage and Neela was fantastic! She was so pleasant, adhered to my requests and overall made me feel super comfortable. I fell asleep during the session and before I knew it the 60 min was up! Will definitely opt for the 90 min next time but I definitely recommend both the spa and Neela :)

Polite and clean place but the massage was not up to par for me. While she was strong, I did not find her intuitive nor did she soothe the tight and painful neck that I had. To her credit, she followed my instructions when I told her where to massage but did not go further and follow the ligaments and muscles into my back/arm/head the way another masseuse did to soothe my problem. Stars for the reasonable price though.

The place is nice and quiet and has a nice comforting atmosphere. Everyone there is nice and welcoming. I had massages with their RMTs, Steve and Jeff. They’re both excellent and I felt so much better after getting a massage from either of them. Steve does an amazing deep tissue massage, which really suits what I need for my recurring neck and shoulder stiffness. My husband also had massages and saw the chiropractor there and was happy with their services. I will definitely come back and would highly recommend this place.
