You have the reviews of people like you who know the services of Mississauga Wellness (Massage Therapist) in the territory close to Churchill (Canada).
At the moment the business gets a score of 3.7 stars out of 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is quite good, and it is founded on a very high number of opinions, so we may conclude that the rating is very reliable. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to write opinions when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Massage Therapist corresponds to the category of Walk-in clinic.
This is the second time I have gone to this clinic. The first time, I was told the doctor is only seeing "family" patients. I managed to talk my way into seeing the doctor. Again, today I was at the door when the clinic opened and was told the doctor is only seeing "family" patients. I had to leave to find another clinic. I don't understand why they are advertised as a walk-in clinic.
Very rude receptionist, she has absolutely no heart at all! I have been a patient for over two years with the massage therapist and I will no longer be able to go again. I called to cancel my appointment today because I had literally JUST got a call from the hospital that my grandmother had died and she responded with "well next time can you let us know sooner". I was absolutely speechless. When I repeated the situation and still got a cold response I said "are you kidding me?" and she came back with "well that is my job." Now my massage therapist has lost a loyal client because of the front desk customer service.
Great Doctor, provided details and had great bedside manner. Thank you!!
This place is pretty awesome. I went in for a walk-in appointment and met Dr. Ameen. She sat patiently and listened to my symptoms and then proceeded with recommendations that has helped a chronic stomach ailment that i've had for many years. She's now my family doctor.
My goto clinic for massage and any medical issue.
The doctor came in 1 hour after opening, then he did a whatever treatment and just left, I had a severe ear infection, he only gave me ear drops and now my inner ear ruptured and I can't hear in one ear. When he came late I hear him say just reschedule her to his secretary, people also got lives man.
Dr. Araujo is professional and diligent with his diagnosis and care for his patients. I've seen him twice and both times he was very helpful. I just took my mom to see the female physician (Dr. Seif) here today and she was negligent at best. For someone coming in for chest pain, the doctor didn't even check blood pressure. Her response was "watch the salt in your diet..." They don't have an ECG either, so if you're having cardiac related symptoms you might want to go elsewhere.
I seek treatment from Dr Sakeenah and she listens well to my concerns and performs thorough diagnostics to suggest remedies. Highly recommend.
Dr Ameen has been my family doctor for over 3 years now she has not been anything but supportive. She listens to your complaint and would discuss all possible options, never prescribes drugs unnecessarily. She is apt with her diagnosis and is very good on follow ups. Thank you Dr Ameen for your guidance
Always had a great experience with the staff and doctor's.
Visited the clinic few times for naturopath appointments. Poonam Patel is very thorough in her approach and was very happy to seek her advice. She is calm and understanding and helped me to identify the source of my aches and pains. She helped me by preparing a plan to start working towards a better health rightaway. I am impressed with her professional & proactive approach towards clients. Would definately recommend her.
Went in with two sick kids. It wast very busy at all. They placed in a room about 90 minutes into it and then 45 minutes after that told us that the doctor has to go to the hospital and will be back in "10 minutes". There's no way that was truthful so we left. Absolutely ridiculous and I am surprised such insensitive hacks are allowed by the college of physicians to operate.
My family and I have been going to Mississauga Wellness for years for regular medical visits/check ups, vaccinations, physiotherapy, and chiropody/orthotics. Dr. Araujo is professional, positive, and caring. He even gave me a prescription without charging my health card. I would recommend his clinic to anyone.
I’m looking around for a doctor, and this is close to home, but just reading the office’s responses to patient’s complaints on here means I’m never stepping foot in this place!
Took 1hr20 minutes to see 3 patients before us, doctor is slow at charting after patients and socialised between appointments. I requested to have a certain ointment that was prescribed to my son before but unfortunately forgot the name of it. The doctor insisted no such thing existed and even tried to get the pharmacist to confirm. My toddler was tired and hungry so I resigned to the given prescription. After I called the former walk in and pharmacy to confirm the existence of this ointment. Either the doctor is incompetent and the pharmacist supports her lack of knowledge out of collegiality, or they are both unaware of the current medications available for conjunctivitis. Both options ridiculous. Will not be returning to this clinic.
I have tried. I would recommend going anywhere else if you have the option. I’m struggling to walk without pain, and the doctor spent under 5 minutes with me and literally walked out of the treatment room as I was asking about what’s wrong, what do I do to get better. No idea why a doctor would do this. Another clinic is a better option.
Jessica is great, always helpful and friendly!
One of the best clinics I've ever been to. Great, quality service. Great doctors with great advice.
The doctors here are so good. Extremely helpful & understanding. The receptionist is extremely helpful and very friendly.
Told us to come in, 15min later we arrive and she tells us they're not taking any more people in.
This clinic should sit the standard for patient care in Ontario, while other Ontario doctors are greedy and arrogant . Dr. Adilson is humble and knowledgeable, they have even virtual clinic where you can book an appointment right away, . In emergencies, they have been always been there for us. Thank you!
A few months ago I went there twice in one week with a swollen left hand and shooting nerve pain, doctor Araujo seemed to have his head in the clouds as I told him my symptoms, interrupting me and GOOGLE SEARCHING MY SYMPTOMS. He went on some half-ass MD website and printed off the damn webpage, he says "oh I don't agree with these symptoms listed here but I think this is what you have". He then proceeds to cross off all the information on the paper that he just printed off the internet. Sorry, if I wanted an internet diagnosis I would've stayed home. He gave me the sheet while leaving the room without saying anything. I waited 15 minutes before I heard him talking to the next patient and found out that my appointment was apparently over. The next time I came back I had worse symptoms and was very concerned, he told me I couldn't keep coming back to the walk-in because I needed a family doctor. I explained that I had just moved to Mississauga and hadn't yet found a doctor and if he could prescribe literally ANYTHING for the pain, even ibuprofen, meloxicam, Tylenol, literally anything. He told me he couldn't help me because he wasn't my family doctor, ridiculous. I found a great family doctor at MCI on Dundas who actually cares about the well being of his younger less medically-educated patients. I've since recovered and will never be going back to Mississauga wellness
Between my husband and I over the last few years we have seen all 3 doctors here at the walk-in clinic. All are great. Receptionists are always helpful. Pharmacy is connected to it for filling prescription ease. The pharmacist is excellent, kind, gentle, caring and knowledgeable. Usually a long wait (any time that I've been there) but I don't mind waiting because I know the doctors spend quality time with each patient. I value and appreciate that. Has a warm feeling inside (as opposed to feeling cold or feeling like a ''number' instead of a 'person').
Dr Araujo is pretty good so I come here but the receptionists and the physio clinic I went to here was very unprofessional and simply unpleasant. It’s hilarious how this clinic is responding to all google reviews that are negative and basically telling people to *** off LOL
This place is the worst clinic I’ve been to. First we had to wait an hour and half just to meet the doctor then, my mom was very sick and had a severe coughing problem and they did not even prescribe her a coughing medication. When we told them about this issue she said we will have to wait an hour again. Do your self a favour and never come to this place.
I have been a patient since they opened this clinic, Dr Araujo is one of the best doctors me and family have had over the years and the staff is always friendly and helpful, I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a very good family physician or physio therapy.
Never had a problem I have been going there for a while better then my family doctor they treat you well
Great doctor and great staff . Dr sakeenah Ameen is our family doctor since 13 yrs and she always goes beyond the limit to respond and will always recommend her as a very good and professional doctor . We are really blessed to have her as our family doctor. She always follow proper protocols and guidelines in the clinic .
We have an excellent experience with the clinic in terms of overall services and care from the doctors in particular with Dr Sakina who is our family doctor and easily accessible in case of any emergency. Abbas Khokhar
Facts: I was removed from a wait room when I was not finished on my visit. I ended up in the hallway waiting to discuss the result of my test and the following prescription. Even though it was busy with wait times, I've never had to wait in the hallway of a walk-in clinic. Even emergency units in the hospital are now providing more privacy and dignity to patients in wait. Due to this experience, I will not recommend anyone to use this clinic for walk-in.
I took my daughter to see Dr. Araujo. He was very professional, courteous and attentive. He took the time to listen to my daughter as well as my concerns as a mother. We did not feel rushed in any way. I greatly appreciated how Dr. Araujo was open to discussing my concerns of antibiotics and did not dismiss me. Dr. Araujo is a wonderful doctor!
Whether it's for massage therapy, chiropractic or the walk in clinic, always great service, I would recommend it to anyone. Tiff
Dr. Araujo is one of the best doctors in my experience for walkin as well as family practice. The hours of the walkin and clinic in general are quite generous. The doctor and staff are all impeccable, kind and courteous! More importantly, Dr. Araujo is an excellent family physician. He takes his time with his patients (walkin and family practice). He explains his diagnosis and plan of treatment throughly! He has excellent bed side manners. He is extremely sensitive to extenuating personal/ mental health circumstances for his patients, which is not the case for many other doctors in my experience. He goes out of his way to make his patients feel comfortable especially with the diverse community the clinic is located in. I have always recieved excellent healthcare from him and the supportive staff for a welcoming visit!
The receptionist acts like a doctor, also she is extremely rude and unprofessional....Dr. Araujo is good but his staff is absolute garbage especially the front desk, you can hire a clown to do a better job.
This not a physiotherapy this place is not good for you looking for treatment. I Google it and i went there for treatment for the first time. He only use the machine and no hands on. Second time slightly different a bite of hand stroking and the machine. Ask myself this not physiotherapy so I stop going and I found some way better Allie physiotherapy is best placed.
This is the worst experience i have ever had at a medical centre. The receptionist is miserable and rude. She has no idea about customer service. The doctors are horrible and are always late and dont have a clue what they are talking about. The "walk in clinic" is never open for walk ins and they dont even specify times the walk in are open on there web site. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
The doctors in this clinic are all very friendly and knowledgeable. My kids and I have all been here to see Dr. Araujo, Dr. Seif and the physiotherapist, Dr. Tejash. I would definitely recommend a visit here.
Today I called the clinic to register my family with a family doctor, simply they rejected to do the registration as my wife still refugee status? Is that acceptable here in Canada? If any one has any idea about such cases please advise.
I don't know much about the clinic BUT Dr. Araujo - definitely don't even deserve a one star. I just came back home from his office and this is how he made me feel : ridiculed, humiliated. His words, tone and body language did not portray of a doctor. Instead, I felt that he was racist, feminist, sexist and you name it!!!! I don't know him personally but that's how he made me feel in 20 minutes of talk. From the moment he entered, he already had thought of what he had to tell me : NO, I cant do it; without listening to my concern. I went with a request from my physiotherapist stating that I should get a ultrasound of my left rotator cuff as I have pain and its increasing. As a walk-in, if you don't WISH to give me requisition of that, just say so. There is absolutely no need to make me feel that I am dumb and pass comments about any race or female doctor and what not by questioning (and I quote): - " so you just go to random walk-in clinics?" -" we don't take walk-ins." I told him google says you do, so does your sign outside and so does the walk-in schedule on the entrance door. Then he goes :oh, we don't take THAT MANY walk-in's. What in the world is that supposed to mean and why would I care?? -"is your family doctor female?" I told him yes, she is and is in Scarborough. he goes, " no wonder, you should keep her because I wouldn't do what she done for you." PARDON ME, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?? - How many times I have moved cities, have no relation with my current MEDICAL need! -OR you only have ONLY Portuguese patients because that's where you are from, has NOTHING to do with my current MEDICAL need and I have 0 interest to know that. I have a school going toddler and many of my own personal medical needs, I do what I need to do when I need to do it. I was not in a rush or anything but no body needs to be felt how I feel right now after speaking to a professional medical individual, who should do what he needs to do in order to help you!
I phoned ahead and asked how was the line at the walk-in clinic. The receptionist told me that they were not busy at the moment but that could change in half hour - quite understandable. When we arrived with my co-worker who just hit his head and needed to know if he had a concussion or not, there were 2 or 3 people in the line - still not busy. The receptionist said they couldn't take him because it's a work injury, he needs to fill in tons of paperwork and they don't have proper forms, we should go to the emergency room. I've indicated that a) it wasn't an emergency - he could need a couple of stitches but he wasn't bleeding; and b) what about MEDICAL HELP first and worrying about paperwork later? Isn't that what clinics are for? Then she said he needs to go to his family doctor as they don't do stitches at this clinic. The web site says "Injuries of any type". This was pretty basic injury but apparently, they don provide this sort of help - this was the decision made by a receptionist, not a doctor. I don't understand why the doctor can't simply look at the patient and at least tell if there is a need for the emergency room or not and why the receptionist is the one to make this call? If you need real medical help - go somewhere else. From what I've seen, patients are too much of an inconvenience at this walk-in clinic.
Receptionist has no idea how to deal with customers. The doctors I've dealt with have been pleasant but dealing with the receptionist really ruins the whole experience. Will have to look for another Chiropractor.
Dr. Mona Seif is an amazing doctor, she listen to all your issues and cares so much about your health. which means she does a proper diagnostic. A++++++++++++ Dr. Mona
????
Such an amazing clinic. Doctor Mona seif is best. Customer service at front desk is amazing.
Dr Arajuo, is amazing. I live in the area and have never visited my family doctor in 6 years but they work under the same corporation. I've always went to him as a walk in and just switched doctors. He knows his stuff, very smart than most doctors I know.
Wonderful clinic with great staff...
Best place good people very polite good at what they do would tell any one they should go there they have a very good staff
It is a great place in every single aspect. It is clean and nice, people is really friendly. Dr Araujo is a wonderful family doctor, very professional and asertive.
Great Doctors and Great Staff. Highly recommend!
Needed to see a doctor to renew a prescription. The lady at the counter told me only 2 people in front and shouldn't take long (not longer than 30 minutes) .waited 90 minutes to get to speak with the doctor.
Excellent Physiotherapy clinic and the Massage Therapists are amazing! Got Foot Orthotics for my daughter with the Chiropodist. The service we received from the front desk and Health Care Professionals was great! Would recommend this Medical Centre to anyone.
I have been a patient of Dr Araujo ever since he started his practice and I have never had a complaint, this clinic is run the same way, it has excellent extended health services, friendly service and people who care.
The Physiotherapy is excellent. I recovered very quickly.
I have visited both the family doctor and the physiotherapist at this clinic many times, and they are fantastic. Dr Araujo is an out of the box thinker, he goes above and beyond to discover what’s wrong with his patients. He truly cares and has a passion for helping people. Tejash Modi, the physiotherapist is detail oriented and great at what he does. I strongly recommend this clinic, if you really want to get better, they truly care about making people well!
Great service
I would not recommend this walkin clinic or go here. My 4 year old son had a small cut on is head from bumping it and they would not look at him to confirm he didn’t have a concussion and said I would have to go to the family doctor and they would not complete the form the school provided confirming he was examined by a doctor. I had to go to another walkin clinic down the road to get him looked at and the form completed. Waste of time going here.
My whole family has been regulars of Mississauga Wellness from the day it started. We have known the medical doctors and other providers over the years. We have used the clinic's different services as such: medical visits, chiropractic services, massage therapies, and naturopathic advices. We have always enjoyed the friendliness of the staff (including the front desk), the excellent care the different providers has showed us, and the cleanliness of the facility. The doctors are knowledgeable and they take their time to listen and explain certain medical conditions. I am always satisfied with the care and services Mississauga Wellness has provided us. I'm sure the rest of my family can say the same.
Dr. Tejash Modi and the physio team are always professional and caring. It is always a pleasure coming there.
I am pregnant and need to get be given the Celestine injection which I was told anyone can do ... and I was refused over a phone call by the front desk staff stating that the doctor feels comfortable doing that only for his patients... like wow
The staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. I see Tejash Modi, physiotherapist he is excellent. In the past 9 years I have had all kinds of therapy for different issues related to a car accident, and I can honestly say he is one of the best at assessing and treating. I have had excellent results and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking a very knowledgeable professional. The pharmacy attached to the clinic is excellent. Even when I get a prescription from a doctor not near this location, I will drive there to have it filled.
Physiotherapist, Tejas Modi is amazing. He is professional & patient-oriented. He calls upon well founded knowledge. After shoulder surgery, I am at 98 % recovery after only 3 months. I am convinced this remarkable recovery resulted from his help and excellent expertise.
I am so happy with the staff at Mississauga Wellness Clinic especially my Physiotherapist Tejash Modi and Dr. Poonam Patel my Naturopathic Doctor because they are both amazing and I am so impressed with the treatment they are giving me and I would highly recommend their services to my friends and family.I would also like to say I am so impressed with the staff at the front reception because they are so friendly and at the same time professional and they always greet me with a smile and make me feel very welcome even when I am leaving and even the rest of the staff including the owner Dr. Adilson Araujo seem so approachable and caring.
Excellent!!! Always deals with me professional and makes sure I'm taken care of.b
I could have done it myself. Went in for a tb skin test results and the doctor literally looked at my arm and said your fine. Then when I asked for a doctors note for my work (a daycare) she said she didn’t understand why. She said if I didn’t get it done here she shouldn’t sign it. But what I was asking for, was my results. A simple positive or negative with a doctors signature. I would hope if your charging me 20$ just to say I’m fine. You can at least sign a paper. When I said to forget it she said “ you know what I’ll do it just to make your day, there’s too maybe people here for this to be carrying on”. Worst customer service ever. Worst walk in. If I could rate 0 I would. To respond to the owners: I had the TB shot done within your office. I paid for a the shot and a doctors note. After I was given the shot she said okay your fine go. When I proceeded to say I needed a doc note for a childcare she said I was making a big deal for nothing. So you’re wrong. She knew I had the shot done and she was the one to administer it. The response you gave was very unprofessional. “ How are we suppose to know you had your shot done ” what kind of response is that, you’re a doctors office. You go to school for that stuff. You should know the answers to that. Ridiculously childish.
My family and I have been going to Mississauga Wellness for 6 years now. Our family doctor: Dr. Araujo, Massage therapy with Sandra RMT, physio/orthotics and the ladies at the front desk have always taken such good care of us. The service and care we receive from the clinic is beyond measure. We appreciate you all.
I have been going to Mississauga Wellness for over 10 years. My family doctor is Dr. Mona Seif. She always gives my family and myself the greatest attention and care. She has a gentle manner and does listen to concerns and finds the best possible remedies for our illnesses. When she is not available we have seen Dr. Araujo. He is always a dedicated doctor who listens and wants us to always get better with what he prescribes. He always spends extra time with us and does not rush us out like other clinics may. We really like the convenience of the clinic since there is always a doctor there that can readily see us when we need the service. The hours are posted on the door so we can see the doctor's schedules. We have also used the services of the chiropodist named Ada Chiu. She has always listened to our concerns and is ready to help assist with our needs at all times. The turnaround is quick when we are waiting for orthotics and the paperwork is always ready for us to submit to insurance. This past summer I used the services of the physiotherapists at the clinic and they were very helpful. They recommended exercises for me to do and the therapy was helpful in easing my pain. Overall, my family is pleased with the health care professionals at this clinic and the services that are offered. There is also a naturopath on site and a massage therapist which I have yet to use, but perhaps will use in the future. The location is very convenient and there is a pharmacy next door as well to pick up your prescriptions right after you have seen the doctors. You will not be disappointed if you use the services of this clinic.
This is a money making business in the name of a wellness clinic. When we moved close to this clinic, we approached this place to register with a family doctor because we are just steps away from them, but Dr Araujo refused to take my husband citing pre-existing condition (which is only acid reflux btw). I still went ahead and registered with Dr Ameen, who is the only other pleasant person there besides the RMT Sandra. One time took my infant to see Dr Araujo because she had cold and cough and he prescribed puffers for her, another patient at the clinic noticed me picking up the puffer from the adjoining pharmacy and advised me against using it as it could have long term health implications; I then took my child to the pediatrician at Trillium hospital and she totally disapproved of using puffers too. Then one time I took my mother-in-law to see Dr Mona Seif and the doctor was super rude to me when I asked her questions about the illness and the dos/donts, the doctor started to walk away from the room when I was still talking with her and started shouting at me from outside the room (for asking too many questions) where everyone else at the clinic could hear and see what was happening. And the staff! Obviously, they see and learn from their bosses - they are super rude, non accommodating, always seem busy, they once told me that a certain appointment cannot be booked for a Friday with Dr Ameen but the doctor said otherwise. I have plenty of reasons now to move away from this clinic and go back to my previous family doctor (even if it is a distance to travel) and I also got told from the staff (Saphia) that there would be a charge of $90 or more for sending my health record over to the new doctor. HA! This clinic is a joke!!
We took our daughter for a physiotherapy treatment with Mr. Tejash. He was fundamental for her complete healing providing the necessary support during and after her treatment. I also want to mention the kindness of Kaia and of all the staff team members. I recommend Mississauga Wellness.
Dr. Araujo is not taking your concerns seriously and is very judgmental thinking patients are faking their symptoms for some purposes. Very rude and arrogant. Serious illness can be under detected and there can be a lot of regrets if you don't go seek other medical advice. Things got delayed easily from this clinic.
The best clinic as per my opinion! Hats off to Dr. Sakeenah who goes above and beyond for her patients and has years of experience. The staff are really friendly.
Hi, I have been going to this clinic for around 2 years now, i have been seeing Dr.Birsa who is the Chiropractor onsite and is a life saver. There was about a 2 month gap where i didn't need to see her, because she has helped to me back on my feet. When i came back in to this office i noticed she wasn't there anymore. When i asked the receptionist they told me they didn't know. I was a bit frustrated, i decided to try facebook. and noticed that Dr.Birsa has changed her name to Dr.Raykha. She is currently working at Collaborative Health Care Network close to South Common Mall, i am so glad i found her.
The only reason I’m giving this place an extra star is because of my family doctor who is very friendly and very knowledgeable, as well as the amazing front desk service. I came in recently and I was in the waiting room while I man came in saying that he had a fever. It clearly says that if you have or had a fever, you should not be coming in to the walk in clinic. The lady at the front desk was doing her best trying to explain the situation, but the man was so adamant and didn’t care as he wanted to be seen. When another doctor came in, she didn’t even care about the protocol and simply asked what’s wrong and asked him to take a seat. Since when is having a fever and coming into walk-in okay during COVID? Dr. Araujo was not there unfortunately so I had to be seen by the same doctor who dealt with the argument earlier. When I told her that I needed a vaccine, she started asking me all these questions as if I know the answers to everything! I am not a doctor, nor a medical student, I’m not gonna know everything perfectly. I am a patient at Mississauga Wellness, all she has to do is read my information on the computer. When I told her that I don’t know, she said that I should be knowing everything, it’s not about who’s a doctor and who’s not. She lost her temper very easily and didn’t know how to deal with a patient properly. Not good service by this certain doctor whom I don’t know the name of.
I having been going here for almost 3 yrs now. Great staff. Dr. Ameen is great. Always there for me to answer all my questions.
Very Professional and caring, nice clean clinic and staff was courteous and caring. Doctor was there to listen to my medical illness and there was no rush , spent time to get me the right treatment
Website advertises walk in clinic. Signage outside advertises walk in clinc. Hours of operation for walk in clinic with doctor's shifts listed on the door. Walk in as a new patient with possible symptoms of appendicitis. Asked to fill out paperwork and wait for the doctor. After filling out said paperwork I was told the doctor would not see me today and to take the paperwork with me - no reason given. Quality service.
They keep on making it more difficult to pick up medication during covid. This place is a joke!!
Thank you to Mississauga Wellness for 15 years of professional and caring service providers for our family.
Great clinic, if I could give Mississauga wellness a 6/5 star I would. Both doctors are great and made my experience enjoyable
Horrible service at this clinic, I called to get an appointment for a walk in and she said she will give me an appointment for the next day I said no problem. she puts me on hold and says oh I can't give you an appoint you need to call back tomorrow! How does this make sense I am calling for an appointment for a walkin and now your asking me to call another day? Horrible place. Response to Owner: Yes except noone is doing real walk ins, that was just the name for a patient calling who is not a family patient with your doctors. it was actually an appointment request for a phone consultation which indeed everyone is booking appointments for. And your receptionist actually gave me a time for tomorrow dec17 and then went back on her word because she asked to hold and then changed her story about giving me an appointment for phone consultation. So next time please don't blame COVID for walk in appointments. I advise all people to avoid this clinic its not professional. I will be reporting it to the patient ombudsman.
A decent clinic with good doctors but horrendous wait times. The funny part is there are few patients in the waiting room but you are called and asked to wait in the exam room for an hour! This is the third time this has happened to me.
I went in for a hacking cough and Dr Araujo said that I have allergies. When I told him I've never had any sort of allergies in the past, he said I am just in "denial". The only follow up question he asked me was if my parents had allergies and when I said no, he said they are probably in denial too. He prescribed me a puffer and nasal spray and upon confirming that I was going to the pharmacy next door, he prescribed me the most expensive one. When I went to another doctor in a few days, I was diagnosed with Bronchitis. Dr Araujo needs to learn to listen to his patients and stop referring to himself as "smarter than the average human".
Great staff with warm welcome & always smiling. Dr. Sakina goes beyond to make patient feel comfortable & relaxed. She is quick in replying to the messages in this tough time of Covid. Good follow up & reminders. The pharmacy too is convenient & quick.
Very rigid attitude from receptionest. When I told them I need a physical to apply for work visa overseas the cash machine ticked tripling the price of regular check up. They even said there might be extra fees later on. Intetesting.
I would definitley recommend this medical facility. The service and the staff is great and the treatment was really professional.
Excellent experience, friendly staff. Been using the services for last 10 years.
I have been seeing Tejas Modi, the physiotherapist at Mississauga Wellness for the past 2 years and have found him to be very good. His kind approach and good knowledge helped me to recover. I strongly recommend him.
The bad reviews speak for itself. The male doctor working there says he would not see me unless I get him as a family doctor. I told him the sign clearly says walk in clinic so doesn't that mean I can simply walk in. He said no he is a family doctor. Wow I was shocked to hear how he can make this claim when his sign says walk in. Someone needs to report this guy to Ontario College of Physicans.
Dr Sakeenah Ameen is my family doctor since 11 yrs and she is very knowledgeable, friendly , courteous and caring doctor . She listens to our concerns very carefully and provides best remedies to get better soon . We are extremely satisfied with her treatment and will always recommend her. We live in Brampton and she is our Family doctor since she was in Richmondhill . We always follow her wherever she moved as my family wants her to be our doctor due to her kind and helping nature.
Dr Sakina is the GP for my entire family and we are so glad to have her as our Doctor. Always concerned about the smallest of health related details and follows up with us. Goes out of the way to accommodate all her patients and best thing is you can instantly feel comfortable to speak to her.
Love that the wait time on a weekday evening wasn’t bad at all about ten minutes however the doctor, Sakeenah Ameen was in a lot of rush, she could barely sit still in her chair and listen to my symptoms, not even looking at me, kept typing and looking at the computer screen the whole time. But that’s true for most doctors Nowadays, but still as a patient if the doctor sits down for 5 minutes and really listens to you that would be so much better
Great service and staff, all around a great experience
We have been clients of the Mississauga Wellness for the last 12 years and have been extremely satisfied with our physician, Dr Araujo & the other services offered by the Mississauga Wellness Centre, including the massage services, chiropodist, and physiotherapy. Having lived in the area close by the clinic, we have also referred many individuals to the Wellness Centre and I would strongly recommend using their services.
Dr. Sakeena Ameen attacked and yelled at me unprofessionally for NO reason at my first session with her by assuming her insecure viewpoints against natural medical practitioners. I told her I take homeopathic and naturopathy medicine on the side(which has helped tons more than allopathic medicine ever did), she defensively yelled at me she cant be my family doctor if Im involved taking/consulting on the side(with these other people who are not really doctors and she is the real doctor). She was so aggressive, rude and almost racist! I said "calm down" to her, to which she replied, 'dont tell me to calm down in my own office', to which i said, 'well you cannot assume certain things and attack your patients, its my personal belief to have natural meds/herbs on the side that dont disrupt with anything allopathic.' Overall, the most horribly arrogant and unprofessional doctor, she generalized and said 'yeah well everyone in the middleeast has a kidney problem', when i told her i wanted to test my kidney and im concerned. Definately uneducated in manners of dealing with patient and not a true processional to get political about her views, yell, subjugate and increase the patients anxiety and harmfully affect their health rather then making them better.
Dr. Araujo is thorough in his diagnosis and he takes his time to understand and work on finding a treatment that fits you. He is knowledgeable and has great attitude toward his patients My whole family go there and my little son loves him
