I can't recommend Matt or Body Mechanics highly enough! I've suffered from TMJ pain for years after a root canal went wrong -- & I've tried more docs, dentists, and holistic practitioners than I care to count. Matt is honestly the only one who gets it :-) Not only does he take away the pain gone but also he eases my mental distress and provides ongoing support and suggestions for in-between visits. The lovely staff & setting at Body Mechanics only make the whole experience better. Go! Now!

I had a massage with Crystal yesterday and she was absolutely wonderful. She took time to really understand my body and it’s issues before we started. She talked me through everything as she was working - we even shared some laughs which was nice. After my session she gave me exercises and stretches to do. I will certainly be a regular of hers. I’m sore today, but not in pain. I’ll take sore over pain any day!

Emanuel Gomez is great. I've been having catastrophic lower back and hip pain for years. I've been to several massage therapist all over NYC, NY state, and surrounding states to try and address it before succumbing to surgery. Before meeting Emanuel I was worked on by two other massage therapist at this location, who were both great but temporarily alleviated my pain. Third time's a charm. I explained thoroughly what I've been dealing with over the years with my lower back and the various misdiagnosises I've been given. Emanuel thoughtfully researched it and experimented on how to treat the issue. His thoughts proved correct because I've slowly been starting to recover from pain I've known daily for years. This guy's the real deal. Hands down the next massage therapist I've ever met and I've met scores of them.

I didn't actually cry with joy last night when I realized I could open my jaw all the way without pain, but it was that level of relief. If you've tried to deal with severe TMJ pain using night guards, muscle relaxers, acupuncture, topical creams, heat and ice packs, or been told you "need" Botox to fix the issue, GO SEE TOMMY! I knew there had to be a way to fix this and I thought massage would help, I just didn't realize jaw massages were a thing. I'm so grateful they are!! I enjoyed the massage but didn't feel better immediately afterwards. They next day I did feel some improvement and I kept doing the massages Tommy showed me. Several days later I realized I could open my jaw all the way without any pain. I could yawn again, without any pain. I AM SO RELIEVED!!! Thank you, Tommy!!

Matt Danzinger was great with my massage! He spoke with me for ten minutes to find out what I wanted in my massage then he focused the massage on what I was looking for. I had some tight calfs, hips and hamstrings. He helped me loosen them up!

The office is clean and pleasant and I was greeted in a friendly, professional manner. I booked an appointment with Maxwell who was very knowledgeable, listened to my concerns, and was able to target my issues. He also gave me some exercises to continue at home. Yesterday I had my first appointment at Body Mechanics with Veronica. It was a great experience. Very clean reception area, all the staff I encountered were extremely friendly and professional, and my appointment was very prompt. The way in which the office itself is run is excellent. I was already feeling very comfortable with everything before I’d even met the therapist. Veronica is great - I was made to feel at ease immediately, and no time was wasted getting into the issues that led me there for medical massage. In just one session, a lot of my physical issues were touched on, and great insight as to how to address them moving forward was offered. Today, not quite 24 hours after my first appointment, I’m not only feeling much better, but determining when to book my next appointment. I thoroughly recommend this office, and while I can only speak for one therapist, I’m convinced that their standards for staff are consistent across the board. After this visit? I wouldn’t hesitate to be worked on by anyone there.
