Amazing spa, all the hot pools are outside and have cooling off pools adjacent to them. Hard wood fire pits smell great though out the facility. The salt flotation pool is an amazing experience. Large steam room and a sauna with a panoramic veiw make me want to go weekly. Very well maintained.

On a eu un pépin avec le service a clientèle car nous étiez en retard, y'on voulu nous pénaliser sur le massage mais nous avons rencontré la gérante et elle nous a super bien servi et crédité l'erreur. De plus, nos deux costumes de bain ont été complètement délavés à cause je suppose, de leurs produits (ce sont des maillots de bain de marque Nautica et Freya, avec des teintures de qualité), mais malgré tout, aujourd'hui j'ai eu envie de retenter l'expérience car le site reste magique, j'ai donc tenté une réservation mais avec le service déplorable que j'ai eu au téléphone celà m'a coupé net l'envie de m'y rendre. Cet établissement est une boite à fric qui n'a aucune considération pour sa clientèle, 3 expériences dans cet établissement et 3 fois mauvais service , je passe mon tour à l'avenir, car on attend de ce genre d'endroit une expérience de zenitude absolue et non de repartir avec le sentiment d'être pris pour un pigeon. This is by far the nicest spa I have been too. The service is amazing, the view is out of this world. Hot pools, cold pools, dry saunas and steam rooms they have it all. I highly recommend it, especially during a nice snowy winter day, it makes the experience that much better!

Love Strom spas, but it was my first visit to the Vieux-Quebec location - and wow! It was above and beyond what we were expecting. It was clean, well-maintained, had a great variety of relaxation areas, many different pools/baths/saunas, and loved the epsom salt pool - worth the extra dollars. Will definitely be going back.

C'est un cadeau d'entreprise que j'ai choisi en pensant passer un bon moment. Si j'avais su je n'aurai pas choisi un cadeau payant. "Give your loved one the freedom to choose." states the description on the gift card. That is, unless you want to purchase any of their services ahead of time online. If you go and read their terms and conditions it states that you cannot use gift cards to to purchase gift cards, which is pretty normal. What they don't feel like mentioning, is that everything is considered a gift card, so you cannot use that money towards a purchase. This is clearly mislabeled on purpose, they shouldn't have a separate "gift card" section, then state that every purchase is a gift card.

Wonderful place. Extremely relaxing. Paying and registering take a bit of time as the place is popular. They have different baths at different temperatures, as well as wet and dry saunas. It is pretty big, with a nice restaurant.

De plus, certain bain/sauna ont des place TRÈS limité, on a du s'y prendre par 3 fois avant d'avoir une place dans une des installations. C'était compliqué de garder notre peignoir et serviette (même si on faisait notre possible pour les identifier) on se les ai fait prendre 2 fois. Finalement venu le temps de quitter, on a attendu 20-30 minutes en ligne pour remettre les clés (nous n'avions rien acheté). Ça m'a laissé un gout amer. Cela dit nous sommes ressorti détendu et nous avons tout de même apprécié l'expérience. Pour ma part ce n'est pas un must par contre.

Honestly so amazing. So many different things to do there. It’s definitely worth the money if you stay long and complete the circuit about 3-4 times (as there’s many different places to go to each time). Highly recommend the TEK and laga floatation. But the whole place is really relaxing and worth the money. The only downfall was that I was going to be charged for aromatherapy when I didn’t ask for it on my massage paper and they made a stink about it before I left. Not the greatest experience as the last person I speak to because everyone else was amazing. I wish I could have my massage paper to prove to them that I didn’t opt for it.

J ‘ai jamais vu ca et j’ai fait plusieurs spas, si vous êtes à pleine capacité ca vous tente pas de limiter le nombre de clients sur le site et permettre a tout le monde de relaxer ?! First of all the atmosphere, for me the Nordic spa is a place to rest in peace. And the calm is not respected! Le spa est tout d’abord constitué de plusieurs bain avec des thèmes différents ce qui permet de changer de bain et de découvrir chaque bains. Aussi composé d’une rivieres qui vous portera au fil du courant en utilisant des frites d’eau. Bien sure on retrouve les traditionnels sauna et hammam qui font la popularité des pays nordiques !! Les pays nordiques et la naissance des biens faits de l’eau ! Ici ils essayent de réunir tout cela mais malheureusement il’n’y arrive pas et c’est pour cela que ma note est de 3 étoiles ! Tout d’abord l’ambiance, pour moi le spa nordique est un lieu pour se reposer au calme. Et le calme n’est pas respecté ! Dans chaque bain, sauna... il y a avait énormément de bruit et j’en suis vraiment déçu ... presque à ce dire que j’ai dépensé mon argent pour rien car le but était de me relaxer et me reposer... je n’ai vu aucune personne du personnel venir voir les gens pour respecter les autres ! Vraiment déçu pour ce point. Puis la nourriture et les cocktails n’étaient pas vraiment exceptionnel et aussi pas vraiment bien présenté ! C’est un peu dommage d’utiliser des verres bas de gamme pour les cocktails.

Maintenant tout le reste fut extrêmement positif. Les gens à l'accueil, au restaurant, sont tous très gentils et aimable. Pas évident de trouver et de garder du personnel avec la covid alors on les remercie beaucoup. Le site est très propre, beaucoup de diversité au niveau des endroits de relaxation et des bains vapeur ou sec. 4 grosses places pour les bains chaud dont une installation style trajet en dedans et en dehors comme l'Amazone a valcartier. Très belle vue. Le bain flottant laga était disponible aujourd'hui le 18 décembre, c'était bien aussi surtout a cause de la musique dans l'eau, car au niveau de la flotaison pas évident selon ton centre de gravité. Je recommande et ma femme et moi on y retournera !

Because everything else is really beautiful: the different pools and the varied thermal experiences. The river is really cool. (Original) Le premier point de contact avec la clientèle, c’est le plus important. Si ça va bien, le reste de l’expérience sera teintée positivement, et si ça commence moins bien, l’expérience sera nécessairement plus négative. Ça nous a pris 40 minutes, recevoir 2 petites clés, 2 peignoirs et 2 serviettes. 40 minutes! Pourquoi? Une mauvaise gestion de la file d’attente. Il y avait 3 caisses d’ouverte. 2 normales pour les expériences thermales, 1 caisse VIP. Jusque là, ça va, si tu as un soin de prévu, c’est juste une petite attention supplémentaire. À moment donné, sous le prétexte de réaliser le check-in de tous ceux qui avaient un massage de prévu (les VIP), les 3 caisses se sont occupés d’eux, uniquement. Même si ça faisait 20 minutes que nous attentions dans la ligne générale, pas de problème cher client VIP qui vient d’entrer, tu peux passer devant tout le monde. Ça a duré 20 minutes. 9 personnes ont passé devant notre groupe (la plèbe). Voici une suggestion, pour ceux qui ont payé à l’avance sur votre site Web : fournir un système de validation avec un code QR et des petites boites sécurisées au mur, avec tout dedans : clé et cadenas, serviette et peignoir. Ça prendrait littéralement 2 minutes, récupérer ce que j’ai de besoin. Comme à l’aéroport, quand tu n’as pas besoin d’aller au comptoir pour déposer une valise. Même chose en sortant. On a dû faire la file pour remettre nos clés de cadenas. Voyons voir, un exemple de solution : Tu présentes ton code QR ou tu tapes ton nom, validation, et tu laisses ta clé dans l’espace prévu pour le retour de clés. Fin. Pas 10 minutes de plus, juste pour déposer 2 clés sur le comptoir. Bref, les caissières pourraient alors prendre le temps de bien accueillir les clients VIP. En d’autres mots, l’équipe du Strom spa devrait recevoir un cours d’expérience utilisateur. C’est très dommage de vivre ce petit manque d’équité qui nous a fait vraiment grincer au début, avec les autres clients réguliers. Parce que tout le reste est vraiment magnifique : les différents bassins et les expériences thermales variées. La rivière, c’est vraiment chouette.

Visited August ‘21 - not for me. Staff at the front desk were lovely and answered all our questions, but unfortunately they were the only staff we saw. Almost none of the guests were following hygiene measures indoors, and it was hard to find clear indications of the rules. There were no signs specifying where masks had to be worn. There were water fountains inside, but no cups, and people had left those flow water cartons everywhere around the baths. It was a shame because the location was beautiful and the architecture was nice. I paid extra for the flotation bath but I couldn’t enjoy it - if you’ve ever done a real float it’s very disappointing! The room was cool, but I didn’t have any earplugs so I couldn’t float without getting water in my ears. Kind of defeats the purpose! When we arrived we were told there weren’t many guests that evening but the pools and baths felt pretty crowded, so I would hate to see it on a busy day! I guess we should have expected this kind of experience from a spa that is in such a touristy area… I’ve learned my lesson.

The only reason I decided to come to this place because I was influenced by the pictures and videos that I saw on Instagram. Everyone posted videos and pictures of the beautiful thermal pool. However when I tried taking some pictures of myself and husband it became a big issue as some Karen complained and the staff asked us to stop taking pictures and delete whatever we took. It ruined our whole experience and got bad vibes. We just left after that as we didn't feel like being there anymore. If anyone is deciding to go there and take pictures then I suggest save your money and don't go there. For storm spa - if pictures are not allowed then you should take down all pictures that you post yourself on Instagram as it gives the wrong impression. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the massage was really good.

INCREDIBLE! Best spa I have ever been to! I was there for 7 hours and could have stayed longer if I didn't have places to be. Great staff. Large facility with a whole range or different spa pools and rooms. I went on a Thursday and there was always lots of space in all areas. Towel and dressing gown are given to you free of charge when you enter. I would recommend bringing flip flops to walk around between areas. I was a little hesitant to visit after the recent mixed reviews but this is a MUST VISIT!

We had a great time at Strom. We did not have an appointment booked as the place was only taking walk-ins for the thermal experience. We arrived at around 10:30am on a Monday and there was a line that reached the doors already. It took about 30 mins to clear the line. The spa is quite big for its location and most facilities overlook the river. There's multiple options for the thermal experience including a lazy river and a sauna "amphitheatre" with a view of the river. Apparently, we had to book a lunch spot when we registered but we were not told about that. So the restaurant seated us inside and only allowed us to eat appetizers (we went for the soup and cheeseboard). We also prepaid for the zerobody experience but we were not told that they can only take two customers at a time and the experience is for 30 mins. We ended up not doing it simply because we could not get a turn while we were there which was disappointing.

It was a decent getaway for a dip in some water. I wanted to like this place, but the customer service and the lack of a mature spa vibe killed my liking for this place. There were children and young adults taking selfies and people on their phones. The noise level from the chatter was inappropriate for a spa that could have been otherwise relaxing. The food was OK and far too pricey for what we received. I waited twenty minutes to return my bracelet/key that was not used for purchases at the spa. It seemed like the three couples behind were also unhappy and frustrated with the wait just to drop off a key. I would not recommend this spa to anyone.

Okay This is probably the best Strom ever! from the check in until finish the staff were super nice and very helpful. very clean locker rooms and overall the suroundings were constantly being cleaned and wiped by staff. They have the lazy river type of pool that is extremely relaxing and the fact that there is a walk out pool from the basement of structure is just excellent. The view of the river with moving ice chunks are just the cherry on top. Highly reccommend this location for all the Spa lovers. A unique experience

The thermal spa experience is absolutely amazing. There’s a great mix of indoor and outdoor pools, dry saunas, steam rooms, and some very cold pools to take a quick dip in after one of the hot experiences. Unfortunately the same positives can’t be said about the staff there. When I arrived at reception, the guy was super unfriendly and unhelpful. My next unpleasant interaction with staff came when I took a quick dip in the freezing cold pool (after a steam room session), and I let out a quick little squeal when I entered the VERY cold bath. He came over to me and told me to be quiet and that I was disturbing the peace of the others. I honestly thought he was joking. Well, 2 minutes later, 3 old ladies went to take a quick dip in the freezing cold pool, they too let out a little squeal upon entering (isn’t that natural and normal?) and they also got told off by the same staff member. I understand it’s a peaceful and quiet place, but the strict staff take it way too far. I felt like a naughty kid at school - and I don’t even talk much! So it’s 5 stars for the thermal experience, 1 star for the staff - so a total of 3 stars.

Je tiens à préciser que les personnes qui étaient directement en arrière de moi ont dû attendre très longtemps aussi. En effet, j’ai eu le temps de passer au vestiaire, de me changer (au moins 5 min) avant que les personnes qui étaient tout de suite après moi puissent enfin accéder au comptoir pour le check in. It's a lovely experience and soaking in the 39 degree infinity pool with a view of the St Lawrence is amazing. The lazy river was fun too although felt mildly lethargic as opposed to entirely lazy. The only thing we felt was missing was (from a newcomer's perspective) was an instruction manual with a suggested order of saunas and pools for maximum effect.

The spa itself was very clean, and all of the pools, saunas and other experiences were well maintained and very enjoyable! We loved how quiet and respectful all the guests were of the volume policies. We opted for the package that included a massage, boreal wrap and access to the saltwater float pool and collectively, these were our favourite parts of our visit. The only disappointment was in the service and food. Our package included a cocktail and "gourmet boreal dish" but upon checking in that morning, we were told that the restaurant was closed and that we would be offered an egg sandwich or veggie wrap instead along with a bottled smoothie. The sandwich was small and arrived still wrapped in plastic and the smoothie wasn't great. For a day that cost us $400, I would have appreciated a phone call in advance or a refund for the food portion instead of a wrap that I'd expect to be served on an airplane.

Lovely thermal spa just a 20min walk from Old Quebec. A friend of mine recommended me to go during my trip and I'm so happy I went, it was definitely the highlight of my short stay! There are lots of different indoor and outdoor pools with different temperatures. As well as different steam rooms, saunas, etc that you could walk into. The whole place overlooks the river, and there is an infinity pool outside as well. The changing room is very spacious, they have several hair dryers and hair straighteners available for use. Lots of water fountains everywhere, so make sure to bring a bottle with you. The only thing that I found a bit awkward is that when we entered, they didn't give a list of rules or anything. But then when we were in the pools, the staff walking around would come and shush us for talking too loudly, or come by to make us put our phones away in certain areas. It felt like being watched by teachers during a test at school. Would've been helpful to know the rules upfront. (They do have signs posted around that ask people to be quiet, but it's just a bit strange for someone to come by several times and make the shushing gesture at you..)

I booked the Spa as a surprised gift for my Wonder Woman. The place is ideally located in front of the river. We went after 4 pm and it was dark, contributing to a very special lovely vibe, looking at the light from the outside hot pool. We did relax and enjoyed the facilities. We also booked the bain laga and enjoyed floating for a good 30 mn. I was a bit disappointed by the staff member having a loud conversation close to the relax room, marques as quiet and asking to whisper. We changed place and went to another room to be disturbed by a staff member trying to replace fake candles. This relaxing room should be respected as it is, especially by the staff. The desk was a bit chaotic. I had to take my girlfriend clothes in my locker because hers was missing. It was a good experience thanks to the lovely place but the staff needs to be more attentive. I will give it another try

Planned to visit the spa with my partner about 2 weeks before arrival, I called their reservation phone number 6 different times and waited on hold for anywhere from 15-45 minutes before giving up and hanging up. On the 7th call I was finally able to get through to someone to make a reservation for Massages, I waited on hold for approx 50mins. The person I spoke with was very nice and said I was booking the last time slots for the day. He advised the massages were to be at 10:30am and to make sure we arrive between 9-10am. Which he said just to make sure you have enough time to fill out the paperwork and check in. So the day arrives we get to the spa at about 9:05am ready to relax. The screener at the front asked what we were there for I advised massage at 10:30am she showed us where to line up. We checked in with the woman working at the desk asked if we had massages booked to which I replied yes at 10:30am. She said just make sure we are there 15mins before the start time to ensure we are ready. At around 9:38am I checked my phone in the dressing room and noticed I had 2 missed calls from Strom Spa. I listened to the voicemail which said, we know you are on site and that we missed the appointments because they were at 9am.” So I walked to the desk and the same woman advised yes they were at 9am and we had missed them. I advised what I was told over the phone and she said it must have been a mistake. I then asked the woman why would we arrived at 9:05am if our appointment was at 9am, makes absolutely no sense. I later found the email to which it states the massage is booked for 10:30 and arrive between 9-10am. I was able to get a refund, however left a very bitter taste, this was my first experience at strom spa and will be my last. The other extremely odd thing that occurred was a photo shoot was taking place While the spa was opened, the staff blocked off certain pools so photos could be taken. Guests were not told of this at all, I find it odd guests are told not to carry phones or take photos but this type of photo shoot can happen..eyeroll. I have been to many Nordic spas across Canada and this one was by far the most unorganized and unprofessional location I have experienced , which is such a shame due the facility and location being very nice. Hopefully they get some new management and staff.

This place is absolutely beautiful and honestly has become my favorite that I've ever been to. This strom is 5x better than the strom in Nun's island just because it's facing the st Lawrence river with breathtaking views, an infinity pool and bunch of thermal baths. I honestly had an amazing time when I came here and would recommend this place to anyone. The locker rooms are huge and have everything you need. They even have individual changing rooms if you don't feel comfortable changing in public and hair straighteners! There is not naturally a mechanism in traffic to encourage people to shower and wash well. I can't imagine the horror of a Japanese accustomed to the onsen experience to discover how one experiences thermal waters here. On ne devrait pas avoir à payer un frais pour utiliser notre carte cadeau. Cela ne fait pas parti des conditions au moment de l'achat. Comme je l'ai déjà fait dans plusieurs autres spas dont le Balnea et le Bota Bota. Je pensais que je pourrais changer mon mode de paiement rendu sur place. Must visit place! It was my first time in a Nordic spa and I was blown away by the entire experience. Floating in a hot pool overlooking the st Laurence river and snow falling down on you was just breathtaking. The facility was clean and well maintained. There are numerous hot/cold pools where you can soak and then proceed to one of the quieter rooms to relax. Do make sure to see the site map and cover all the different experiences. Only giving 4 starts as the staff did not explain to us the entire process. We were just given robes and towel and had ti figure out next steps ourselves. A quick guide and intro would have been really helpful.

Our family was excited about Strom Spa and booked facials and the thermal baths for the whole family over the holidays. Unfortunately, we got a notice a few days before our appointments saying the thermal experience was closed due to COVID and to apply for a refund. It's been more than 10 days and still no refund. And then I received another charge because we failed to attend our facials! When I called customer service, they said the thermal baths were closed but they were still open for appointments. Based on the email communication, that was not at all clear. And why would someone go to a spa that's closed due to COVID for any services? The customer service representative, Stephanie, refused to share her last name and was particularly rude. This Spa is not interested in your relaxation or peace of mind... they're just after your money, any way they can get it.

What a phenomenal spa. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining the experience to us. The spa was nice super clean and the layout was great. There are a lot of thermal pool options to choose from so it never felt crowded. One thing I like about this spa the most is all the different relaxation room setups. Places to just chill and relax. It was snowing a lot when I went but that actually made it really cool. It looked amazing with the snow and all the steam creating a fog throughout the whole spa. An outdoor spa in the winter was just a very cool experience.

Unfortunately they ask you to drop your phone for relaxation purposes so that's what I did :) what a good time I had relaxing and treating myself to hot bath, various sauna, salt rub water jet massages. Worth the price just for the architecture of the place itself. Then the service and all the activities makes it up even more. I have tried the bistro it was good food but hard to get back to the sauna after eating, be sure to leave some space after your meal to digest it off... The entire experience start to finish was superb. A helpful chat on the website answering questions turned into a phone call and our reservations booked. They took care of us when we came on the day with further reservation arrangements and great customer service. The place itself is amazing and I can't say enough good things about it. My husband and I were there for an entire day enjoying a massage, two meals in the bistro, the thermal spa and float pool. The float experience was our favourite and when we were settling up they offered to call a cab for us without prompt. All the staff tried their best to accommodate our english, more difficult for some than others. Overall, beyond exceptional. Book early, get in at open, come to relax and not to gab and you will have a spectacular time.

I had an incredible relaxing and delicious experience at Strom spa nordique. The spa was at capacity but it didn't feel crowded. They have beautiful surroundings, an infinity pool, a lazy river, multiple types of saunas, multiple spots to relax. I had a 90 min massage an it was incredible and much needed, very professional and relaxing.tehir restaurant needed a reservation but it was easy to reserve while in the spa, the food was great. An amazing getaway and special treat for a couple or single guests.

We wasted a lot of time trying to find out if this spa could provide flip flops or slippers. We brought bathing suits but forgot sandals. Their website advises bringing flip flops, but I could not see if they had any for purchase. I tried calling Strøm and you are directed to headquarters in Montreal. The phone agent told me that Strøm in Old Quebec only had a very limited selection and that they were more like “souvenir flip flops”, to quote her, and that they did not have all sizes. She also said sandals were mandatory. I could not find a phone number to call that spa directly to find out what they had in stock. When I asked the agent where I could find flip flops in Quebec City in February on a Sunday she told me a bathing suit store... all of which were closed. She was extremely unhelpful. I definitely felt like she did not care about our business. In the end we did not bother going, as the agent made it sound like we would not find the flip flops we needed. Very disappointing. Every spa we have ever been to has at least slippers for rent. We hope to try a different Nordic spa next time...

Beautiful spa on the river in Quebec City. The spa looks and feels brand new and has a modern vibe. The spa offers 15+ hot and cold baths as well as plenty of relaxation rooms. The views over the river are breathtaking. The price for usage of all the pools is around $50, very reasonable for what you get. The restaurant is also worth visiting. Tip: if you go in winter don't forget to bring something to wear on your head as your head may get cold outside.

This place was incredible! It was a last minute decision to head to Strøm spa - and we couldn’t be more impressed. Value for money was incredible - we went on a Monday night and we pretty much had every pool to ourselves if not just two others. It was quiet, with calming music and beautiful relaxation rooms. The pools were out of this world - overlooking the river and each had its own little feature (fountains, waterfall, rocks, fire pits, wirle pools etc) the bistro was a nice touch and you can just eat in your robe! Even better! All round a fantastic place to visit if your up for some down time - even better in the winter when snow is all around you and even floating down the river!

Once seated in the hammock, our body leans against the wooden structure and this is very uncomfortable. Fasteners should be pulled up to the ends of the beams to support a human in the air. 3. The fireplace in the hot pool in front of the bistro is dangerous because of the box which is very hot. A “do not touch” type indication should be installed to prevent burns as I leaned against the fireplace to maintain my balance and burned myself. Despite this, the Strøm Spa Nordique is an enchanting and magnificent site that deserves to be discovered. P.S. - Mobile phones are not allowed on site, but virtually all customers use them on site. Une indication du genre "ne pas toucher" devrait être installée pour prévenir les brûlures puisque je me suis appuyé contre le foyer pour garder mon équilibre et je me suis brûlé. Malgré cela, le Strøm Spa Nordique est un site enchanteur et magnifique qui mérite d'être découvert. This was a much needed visit. Everything is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. You see them cleaning constantly. There is a spot here for every type of person whether you want to read a book, soak in a pool, or relax by a fire in a chair. I wish we were better informed that you needed a reservation to use the restaurant for literally any reason. After hours of soaking in hot water, it would be nice to be able to walk in and buy a drink or get a snack, but apparently you must make a reservation. We were not told this, and that's why 4 stars instead of 5. We were able to buy water from the desk but that really is not what we wanted. The only frustrating things were due to covid which is understandable. A very very long wait to get insidex and then another very long wait to check in despite us being on time for our booking. With the restrictions, it is what it is! Worth the wait. Make sure you make a reservation for food and drinks. You'll want them, I promise.

The employees on site had the presence of mind to understand our respective situations and let us in after many heated discussions on the subject, thank you to them, but without the problem being resolved. Just breathtaking! A real escape in the city. Visited in February and watching the ice float down the river from the infinity edge thermal bath was beautiful. So many different pools, saunas, rooms and areas to check out and relax - make sure to check them all out! The massage was great and insurance receipts are provided upon request. I visited on a Monday so it wasn’t too busy, not sure what the weekend would be like. Was much emptier in the morning when we arrived (10:30am) than when we left around 3pm.

Called 1 week before to inquire if their massage and floating bath were still open. They were. Went to my rv only to be told that they had been closed 3 days before. It would have been nice to get a call or email saying they had decided to close. Massage room was too bright. And a bit cool (20.7C) to my taste. The strom massage was really interesting with the hot and cool stones.

This is a great spa! It has a infinity pool with serene views of river. Variety of other relaxing baths and packages. We took the thermal experience only and spent a good 4 hours at this place. Best to go when its cold and snowy! There's a restaurent as well. If you are going in winter season or on cold day one tip would be to carry your warm knit cap , as it can get windy since place is located in open area right beside river. Good thing about this spa is the robe and a towel are included in price for thermal experience ( or access to baths). While in Montreal spas charge for it. Parking is free on site and plenty. If you have a electric car think its paid only for that as we could see a parking machine near that area.

Do NOT buy « promotional » packages online - they have been overselling them and do not have capacity to accommodate guests for the treatments they have sold. We purchased a package costing over $500 many months ago and called in July 2021 to book for November 2021. After waiting on hold for over 15-20 minutes (a regular occurrence when calling), we were told that they could not take our reservation at the time but that we would be guaranteed service in November if we called at the start of October. I called at the very start of October to follow up and was then told that all massages and all other treatments in November were (quite incredibly) completely sold out. I am now out of pocket with a number of other expenses I booked relying on the fact that—if I tried to book services four months in advance—I would be able to. I was also then told the packages are non-refundable, even though mine effectively cannot be used. Strom has a ton of potential but it has unfortunately turned into a money-grab for « packages » they cannot honor. Prepay for packages at your own risk!

Would like to share my recent PAINFUL and INSANELY FRUSTRATING experience with Strom Spa Quebec City in hopes that my experience will help other foreign visitors to not repeat my same mistakes: A month prior to my trip to Quebec City, I was really interested in Strom Spas's thermal experience and massage package for my husband and I. I was about to purchase the package online but saw on their website that a phone reservation is required for the massage. I called in and was put on hold for a REALLY long time, no one picked up. I thought to myself, oh it might just be a busy day for them, I'll try again later. Tried calling multiple times during the afternoon and STILL no one picks up. A day later, I tried calling again and surprise surprise, no one picks up. I tried calling almost every day for a week. I emailed and even went on their Instagram to DM them but never got a call back. I decided NOT to buy the package and go in person to try my luck for the massage availability. Fast forward to our trip, The first thing we did when we arrived Quebec City was to go to Strom Spa. When we walked in, the customer service said there was no massages available for the dates that we were there. We went back to our hotel disappointed considering I've tried calling and emailing month prior to our trip. Despite that, I've decided that since we are already in QC, we might as well just try their thermal experience so I bought the gift card online. It is said online reservations are recommended but walk-ins are acceptable too. I tried reserving the time for our visit online but frustratingly, there was no availability- called, no one picked up. The next day, we went in again and they told us that there was a wait list of a minimum of 2.5 hours. They asked us to come back the next day but we were leaving QC. At this point, I was just really tired and don't see a point in returning later that night for a spa when this entire experience has been so laborious and difficult, so I asked for a refund for the gift card. At first- they said that I can't refund and I should just use those as spending credits at their strom store... I insisted on a refund and after multiple back and forth with their 'manager', they agreed. They took my details down and said someone will be reaching out in a day or two. A couple days in, no one reached out. I decided to call a week later and no one picked up. Luckily, on my second try calling, someone actually picked up. I explained the situation to her and after checking, she said that a refund have not been recorded in their file .... Long story short, she managed to do it for me over the phone and this ordeal is finally over. I personally didn't have a chance to step into the spa to enjoy, I'm sure it's nice as other people describe it but the entire experience is ABSOLUTELY TEDIOUS, AWFUL & a WASTE of our TIME. My biggest regret is wasting my time calling, going there and then purchasing another gift card. I should've stopped the 3rd time they didn't pick up my call. I'm not sure how other visitors manage to get a massage but I hope Strom Spa will do something about their phone reservation service etc.

World-class facility! We spent over 5 hours at the spa, including a massage and lunch. The steam rooms and infrared relaxation room were my favourites. It was too bad the infinity pool was closed for maintenance. When I made reservations on the phone, I was told I could make a reservation at the bistro once I got to the spa, but when I did that, we couldn’t get seated until 2 pm. So I’m not sure if there’s a way to make all the bookings on the phone at once.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Short drive from old quebec. Started with a brunch- the food was average but they had a live pianist and the view was lovely. The massage therapists were very attentive and professional. Very clean facility and spacious. The thermal experience was spectacular. Many pools to choose from both indoor and outdoor and one was an infinity pool overlooking the st.lawrence river. Also many saunas, steam rooms, relaxation rooms (hammocks) and an infrared room.

Wow! Stunning location on the edge of the St Lawrence and just minutes away from old Quebec City. There is a indoor / outdoor river type pool here that has a current and is really cool. The fact that you can enter it from the comfort of the indoor area is also very nice. Other than that there are tons of rooms and alcoves to relax and lounge in, and there is also a flotation pool where you can float in the water due to a super high magnesium salt concentration kind of like in the dead Sea. Very unique experience that I haven't seen elsewhere. This is the 3rd Strom and newest I've been to out of the 4 and it is a destination in itself!

Out of all the existing Stroms, this one is their best yet. The reception is large and there is an express line for members and people who have booked treatments. The receptionist when entering was welcoming and friendly, unfortunately I cannot say the same for the receptionist when exiting, there was a lack of professionalism. The site is large and even though there are a lot of people on site, there is enough room to accomodate many guests. The floating bath is an extra but it is definitely worth it. The location of this Strom is perfect as it has the water in front which is very nice. I can't say I cared much for the new menu at the Bistro, it's very artisanal food and would be nice to have options for the simpler people like me. Overall it was a nice experience and would recommend this place. By the way, they do accept wayspa which can be bought at Costco (value of 100$ for the cost of 75$). The more wayspas you buy, the better your deal.

One of the greatest spas where I went! Near Chateau-Frontenac which make it easy to get to. The thermal experience is great and cheap for what you get. Unfortunately I have to give 3 stars, because someone went with my 350$ Ray-Ban glasses. To get to the Sauna you have to leave your sunglasses outside of it and there are places where you can put them. I put them there and someone stole them from me!!! When I asked what I can do the employee told me that they are not responsible of stolen objects (I agree with him if they'll allow to take them everywhere with you)!!! So if you got expensive sunglasses or other objects either keep them in your locker or take them with anywhere you go even if it's forbidden to take them at certain places. If you're thinking about going there don’t even think about just go you will not regret, but pay a special attention to your objects.

We tried this spa in our 3rd day of our journey in Quebec City and it made our trip COMPLETELY SUCCESSFUL. How should I express this experience of my body in a hot pool with stunning night view around? Easy booking, easy excess, quiet and relaxing atmosphere, many different theme pools with different water temperature each????. They also have saunas and rooms to just relax. (Translated) To mark our wedding anniversary, we wanted to go to the spa and receive a massage: We had to call three times to be able to book massages, because after 30 minutes, we found an answering machine. We were told that we could not take advantage of the current promotion since we wanted to pay in part via a gift certificate. When we arrived we were informed that our massages were scheduled for the hour before. I have been accused of mistaking the time and blaming them for the communication problem without taking any responsibility on their part. Since we were working earlier, there is no way we booked at the time they had entered. There was no more availability for the day. We were offered an entry to the spas in exchange for a paid entry and the price of a massage they wished to charge us. We left for another spa for the afternoon. 1 week later, they charged our credit card for the amount of the 2 massages we never had. (Original) Pour souligner notre anniversaire de mariage, nous souhaitions aller au spa et recevoir un massage : On a dû téléphoner à trois reprises pour réussir à réserver des massages, car au bout de 30 minutes, on tombait sur un répondeur. On nous a mentionné qu’on ne pouvait pas profiter de la promotion en cours puisqu’on souhaitait payer en partie via un certificat-cadeau. Quand nous sommes arrivés, on nous a informé que nos massages étaient planifies pour l’heure d’avant. On m’a accusé d’avoir mal noté l’heure et blâmer pour le problème de communication sans aucune prise de responsabilité de leur part. Comme on travaillait plus tôt, il est impossible qu’on ait réservé à l’heure qu’ils avaient inscrite. Il ne restait plus de disponibilités pour la journée. On nous a offert une entrée pour les spas en échange d’une entrée payante et le prix d’un massage qu’ils souhaitaient nous charger. Nous avons quitté vers un autre spa pour l’après-midi. 1 semaines plus tard, ils ont chargé notre carte de crédit du montant des 2 massages que nous n’avons jamais eu.

Really cool place, they do nickle and dime you a bit. They dont provide any slippers for you to walk around in so bring your own or you have to buy! Other outdoor nordic spas provide these in your price.

However, there was only one employee walking around the place and he was passing quickly (I saw him only twice during my three hour visit). I have never seen a spa where the guests were so noisy. I think the strom spa should do more to ensure visitors a place to rest. Whispers from time to time are normal, but full discussions are a little ridiculous. L'ambiance n'était vraiment pas propice à la détente et je trouve ça très dommage. Je n'ai jamais vu un spa avec aussi peu de surveillance. Je pense que le strom spa se doit de faire plus d'efforts pour assurer aux visiteurs un endroit propice au repos. Des petits chuchotements de temps en temps, c'est normal, mais des discussions complètes, c'est un peu ridicule.

(Translated) Magnificent site. Stunning infinity pool and plenty of hot and cold resorts. My favorite is without a doubt the river at 100 degrees which goes from the inside to the outside. On the other hand, there should be a few more indoor relaxation areas, as they were sometimes all full, and since it was very cold, outdoor chairs were not really a possibility. Also, it would be a good idea to make the heating of the bathrobes outside to be more efficient. All in all, it was a great experience! (Original) Site magnifique. Superbe piscine à débordement et de nombreuses stations chaudes et froides. Mon coup de cœur est sans aucun doute la rivière à 100 degrés qui va de l'intérieur à l'extérieur. Par contre, il faudrait un peu plus d'endroits de détente intérieurs, car ils étaient parfois tous pleins, et comme il faisait très froid, les chaises extérieurs n'étaient pas vraiment une possibilité. Aussi, ce serait une bonne idée de faire en sorte que le chauffage des peignoirs à l'extérieur soit plus efficace. Somme toute, ce fût une très belle expérience!
