*Disclaimer I work for painPRO, and this is a genuine personal review. It felt like my spine was locked in my upper back probably from siting in the car and office. I also didn't have an appointment, but managed to see our physiotherapist Travis last minute. He was able to pin-point the issue based on my description of what was going on and got it moving again plus gave me exercises to keep it going. Thank you Travis.

As soon as you enter the painPro clinic, you're greeted with welcoming staff and a nice very clean environment. Patrick, my physiotherapist, was not only professional, but also truly attentive and detailed. And he took time to find out the reasons for my injury, but he also took time to really narrow down the areas where the treatments are most necessary. In addition to all that, he explained what he is and will be doing, what my share of this recovery program is, and all that in a way that one can easily understand. Yet, all if this was done in a friendly and warm tone.he genuinely cares about your well-being and recovery . All that to say, I definitely highly recommend this establishment and Patrick himself for your physiotherapy needs.

I enjoyed my first session with Charlene at PainPro. Booking appointment was so easy online. All the required forms can be filled out in advance. PainPro also sends a reminder through preference, either email or text. Also received a detailed step by step how to get to the office and parking. Location is convenient, right by Metrotown station. Parking at Metrotown. Schedules range from early morning til late evening. Strongly recommend!

HELP I HAVE NO SKIN

Just moved to this area and came to PainPRO for the first time today and saw Hai Xin 'Angelina' Huang and I must say it was the best massage I have ever had. I received a deep tissue and her pressure was perfect, I felt like a million dollars leaving and this is my new go to clinic and Angelina is my new go to RMT. AWESOME

I had to edit this review because I did not give enough praise to THE MAN, PATRICK C! He is just the best. I’ve been getting treatments from him for various issues and he just goes above and beyond. He deserves a gold medal for all he does. First of all the receptionist herself was very friendly and professional at the same time. Patrick, the physiotherapist that I saw is amazing. As is all the other physiotherapist (Stephen Lee) and massage therapist (Suresh) I’ve had with PainPro. They’re all very thorough and aims to provide the best care. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Other places might stick you in a room with an electrical device and leave you but with PainPro they will get to know you and your situation and do their best to help you. I can’t say enough good things about the practitioners that had provided me with their expertise.

Shaun was really great and focused on all my pain points in our session today. He was easy to talk to, checked in with me throughout the massage to make sure we were on the same page and he was cautious around my injuries. I had a 4 day Tension headache leading up to the massage and walked out with a clear head. Easy to chat with, nice guy! I felt very relaxed and like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. I will definitely visit again. As a bonus , he recommended some great local eateries. 5 stars!

Very hard to find location. I lost half my time looking for it

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with painPro clinic. I went there to see a physiotherapist to check my neck after a car accident. My initial assessment session cost $110 which is not acceptable. Although they had confirmation from ICBC over the phone, I paid the full amount and I was told to claim it directly to ICBC if I want the full amount back. They explained about ICBC rules and procedures has changed and etc. The physiotherapist was very professional and I am sure they have full list of items why they charged me this much but the initial assessment (private or ICBC) is about telling the patient what the plan is and what it will cost if we do this and that. There was definitely a mis-commutation and they definitely could do better to talk to client in advance.

Convenient location for RMT and lots of times/options available. Also a lot of massage therapists so don't have to wait long between bookings. However, it is pricier than other RMT places. I wouldn't mind, except I never get inside on time or the massage ends 5 minutes early. I booked a 45 minute massage at 5:30pm massage and I sat at reception until 5:38pm. Every minute for a 45 minute massage is $2.38 so as time ticks, so does money!

I had a great experience with my physiotherapy treatment. I had terrible ankle injury when I first started off and could barely walk on my foot. My pain was excruciating at the end of my day as I’m a registered nurse and most of my day is spent on my feet. I gradually improved with my treatment and am now able to run for longer distances again. I am almost back to full strength thanks to Patrick Chiu. I started off with a little hiccup as the descriptions to get to the Metrotowers1 from the underground Parking is complicated and not very helpful. Once on site, the staff was quite friendly and seem very appropriately prepared for Covid protocols. Communication with the RMT and Physiotherapist was excellent and the wearing of masks and efforts to maintain good social distance when allowable was adhered to 100% of the time. Looking forward to returning for subsequent treatments.

I had a terrible experience. VERY INCONVENIENT location. I booked 45 min therapy at 6 pm. I arrived at the metrotown mall at 5:50pm. It took me 10 min to find their address. When I got to the building, I had to call them and wait for them to come and take me to the right floor. This took at least 5 min. It took 15 min to make me ready for the massage. The massage therapy started at 6:20 and finished at 6:40pm. It was the most expensive 20 min massage I've never had.

The massage was decent and the therapist obviously knew what he was doing. However, I was about 10-15 minutes late. 5 minutes due to my fault, and 5-10 minutes their fault. Somehow, my massage was finished 10 minutes earlier THAN MY ORIGINAL SCHEDULED TIME. I really have to say I was ripped off. I paid for 100% of my massage, but I only get about 70% of it. (That wasn't including my own fault) I don't recommend this place.

I admire how he updates me on the exercises needed for my daughter's recuperation from her sports arm injury. I've been coming to Painpro for over a year post car-accident and I'd highly recommend Caitlin (kinesiologist) & Danny (massage therapist). Not to mention that Painpro as a clinic is great since they do direct billing for ICBC patients, saving ton of time on administrative overhead. After suffering neck and shoulder pain, Caitlin was able to come up with a personalized plan for me to strengthen not only my pain points but also the whole body to help with fixing the injury. She was adaptable and would supplement exercises that helped with my injury depending on the condition that week and any flare ups that I was experiencing. In addition, she understood that I was working from home and was able to provide me with exercises easily accessible at the desk. I would highly recommend Caitlin as your kinesiologist. Danny is also a very experienced massage therapist. He was able to target specific injury points and was excellent at helping relieve the pain in my neck and shoulders - I always felt like the pain was reduced after every visit. He also knows how to ensure that the treatment is personalized to each of his patient's needs. Not to mention both are very friendly and approachable which makes the frequent visits to the clinic more enjoyable. Thank you Caitlin and Danny for all your help!

The worst service ever! First of all, this place booked my appointment to the wrong month. I requested Feb 2nd, they booked me to March. Then, without telling me, changed my appointment time to the right date, but half hour later. I only found it out while checking in. No one informed me after hours (it was a Saturday) the whole office building shut down, and there is a very specific way to get in. Took me 15 mins and several phone calls to get in the building and their floor. My new appointment time is at 12:00pm, and I was still waiting by the reception when it was 12:15 pm. I walked out without getting my treatment. Never Again!

Seemed a bit rushed.... I was asked to be there 15 min early for a 10:45 appointment ... but the appointment started 15 min late and ended up being only 45 min ,but got charged for for 60. Tried out a few painpro locations and love how easy it is to book online. You pay for the convenience though because they are a bit pricier. I’ve only been to the Metrotown location once but I had an AMAZING massage with Sandy (Alexander I think? But goes by Sandy) - his pressure and massage technique was seriously amazing!! I was impressed. He was very professional but was quite strict on time/schedule (I was a few minutes late) which I didn’t really like but his massage totally made up for it. After trying out several painpro RMTs I would say Sandy was the best hands down but since I live downtown, the Metrotown location is reallly out of the way for me to rebook him. My back is hurting again and I am really considering booking Sandy again despite the fact that it takes me 30-49 minutes to get to Metrotown each way; his massages are THAT worth it!! I highly recommend Sandy at this location if it’s convenient for you.

Pain Pro's Patrick Chiu diagnosed the extend of my shoulder injury with pin-point accuracy. His course of physio exercises he showed me during the visit, was followed up with an email with video links to all of them. The easy part was following his advice and my shoulder pain went away as predicted. It is all in their name....as they ARE Pain Pros! thank-you Patrick!

They let me know how to work out pain area. No treatment or massage. But little gift for elastic stretching tool. I explained my symptoms for 20 min another 20 mins exercise. Just 1 time help me out how to stratch. He told me he was going to massage or treatment later. Actually it won't happend. May be I booked evening appointment. The session was like easy personal trainers work out. If u have a mild muscle pain or chronic back pain. I would recommend go to other massage shop.
