One of the best massages i had in years. Pleasant and polite receptionists and my MT is one of those few therapists who are really great with what they do and she's pleasant too. The place is very clean, even the washroom. My first time to try Healica and I'm definitely going back. Thank you so much for a very relaxing massage - i feel so much better!

I used to go to Healica Barrie for the "Healica Bamboo Blend 90 Minute" with Sophia, and let me tell you, it is no exaggeration when I tell you that those were the BEST massages I have ever had in my life! So immensely relaxing and therapeutic. So sad to have moved and now am far away from Healica. Haven't had as good of an experience since. I have also gone to Denise for the Swedish Massage here and she is also excellent!

I’ve only done massages when away on vacation and not with an RMT. Did a quick Google search and found this place. Needed some help with my shoulder and was able to get in even during lockdown. Arrival and COVId safety was well organized and felt really comfortable. I had Ali as my RMT and she was FANTASTIC!! I don’t know why I haven’t been doing this since my work covers it anyway. Pricing is way cheaper then going to a fancy spa but the quality of service was much better then anything I’ve had before on a vacation. Highly recommend both the company as well as RMT Ali!

I don't ever write reviews but, I had to about this place. You can't call this place a massage clinic, in my opinion. You can't just can't take it for the the first impression. Not even close. I don't know how I would describe it as, what the word is exactly, but Healica is something of an experience. It does not feel like the typical business transaction for a massage and payment after. It feels like the entire staff is there at your whim all working together to help you, to actually tackle your problems. As soon as you speak to the receptionist even, you feel like you are in good hands. Not to mention all of the products they use are also developed by their brand and all natural. I've been to so many clinics, I've lost count. I've had some good results and some times the therapist did the trick. But, that only happened a few times in my entire history of seeing massage therapists over the last 15 years. At this place, it was completely different the staff are younger and much more knowledgable than older clinics which are not up to snuff on new biological discoveries. They actually hire this kind of staff intentionally, so they have mentioned to me. Since, the younger therapists go through a more intense of a process in schooling and are forced to learn more than they did in the past. Which, makes them better at what they do. With Cristie, as soon as she felt my back she knew exactly where all of my issues were. "Does it hurts here most," she asked. How, could she know that I wondered, how did she know that about every part of my back? With other therapists it's like they are shooting in the dark and you must explain to them where your issues are. When they find it, you need to tell them up a bit, down a bit ok now you got it. But, with Cristie she showed me where all of my worst areas, knots or whatever was. She tackled them and made me feel better immediately. They are extremely results driven and they really preform results.

Their online booking made it very convenient. They were also able to bill my insurance company right away. Been to many clinics in town and thankfully have found the best one for me. Great location, great people, great massage. Direct billing with Insurance Carriers, they take the time to call your carrier to set everything up and they charge an amount within the insurance industry's reasonable and customary price, so no balance billing. Highly Recommended.

Paid for 90min massage and got a 70min massage. Asked for a deep tissue massage and got a relaxation massage. Asked for a discount since i was not content about the service received and got politely dismissed. Will never return. I recommend this place but personally will not return

Have been going here for a couple months now and have been getting better with each visit. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit squishy but I usually find a spot open. Direct billing process was easy and convenient. No complaints.

The staff was amazing to work with, great massage in all affected area and really helped out my Torn meniscus injury I attained from playing soccer. I was also given Healica topical relief oil, which helped relieve the minor inflammation and pain I had before coming here. I also learn lots about my injury, and how to better treat it. :)

The staff here are very kind and make sure you feel welcome as soon as you enter. The new location is beautiful too, very modern and clean without feeling cold. Denise is incredible! I highly recommend her. She made me feel comfortable and at ease in just a few minutes after meeting her. Which is rare for me as I suffer from anxiety. Her attention to my specific needs, and the overall experience goes unmatched to any other massage I've had. You can tell she really loves what she does. I'll definitely be coming back!

Alex Costa is my massage therapist at Healica Massage. Alex is an awesome massage therapist. She really cares about her patients, and wants to help them feel better. She is really engaging and easy to talk to, allowing me to feel comfortable to share what my issues are so she can treat them. She asks the right questions to help narrow down what the issue may be that is causing the pain and discomfort, and she has the experience and knowledge to know how to properly treat it. She is continuing her education in school studying acupuncture, showing her commitment to always learning and expanding her knowledge so she can best help her clients. She has been treating injuries and pain that I have had for a long time from sports/weightlifting. She has helped me feel and move a lot better. I personally get 90 minute to 120 minute deep tissue massages from her each week, as it allows me to get relief from pain and tightness throughout my whole body. Her treatments have given me the most relief from pain and tightness out of all the treatments I have tried (chiropractic, physiotherapy etc). Her treatments have allowed me to sleep much better also. She has helped relieve pain that I was having in my neck, that was causing issues with my sleep. Now that she has treated my neck pain, I am able to sleep much better! I highly recommend her services, and I know with her assistance she will help me get back to 100% so I can go back to doing the things I enjoy pain free (sports, weightlifting).

I booked an appointment here 2 weeks ago with a pinched nerve in the left side of my neck and the pain was radiating to my left shoulder. The therapist spent more time on my shoulder than anywhere else and less time on my neck than everywhere else. She even squeezed the knuckles on my right hand? She had me turn over on my back and prop my head up on a big pillow. I told her it was painful and she had me shift up a bit. I told her it didn't feel much better but she ignored me and went on to mangle my shoulders! They told me to expect some temporary pain afterward but I was in almost unbearable pain when I got home. The next morning I couldn't lift my left arm above the elbow. I'm just now starting to get some movement back. I can only conclude they are only trained for therapeutic massages to relieve stress and have no clinical training beyond that. They should have told me up front and I would have gone to a physiotherapist!

My Fiancé and I went to Healica Massage Therapy on Feb 17 2017 to experience their Deep Tissue Massage. My RMT was Jade Gibson and she was amazing! I went in with tight shoulder muscles and I came out with much looser muscles. Jade is very knowledgeable and professional and also took the time to explain to me what she was doing. Overall, the staff was very friendly. The office and rooms were very organized and clean. The music was very Zen and relaxing. Their direct billing process was also very easy to register and process payment. I would recommend a visit to this place! 5 Stars!
