I have had hundreds of massage treatments. Jackie was the most scientific and effective RMT I have ever had. She tries to solve your challenges so you don't have pain and doesn't try to upsell anything. I don't even have another appointment booked after my first treatment. Every other RMT I have seen has automatically recommended more treatments.

I just visited Freedom Massage for the first time today. Booking online was super easy, even after I need to cancel and rebook a previously scheduled appointment. I got to the clinic after a hectic workweek and was welcomed with open arms. William was at the front and greeted me and he even offered to show me around the clinic. It was a great way to learn a little bit more about the space and the people behind such a wonderful place. I was then greeted by Jackie who took me to one of the massage rooms. She took the time to go through my detailed history with me. Right from the beginning she made me feel relaxed. My 30 minute massage was amazing, and I was finally able to relax after a crazy week. I can’t wait to go back!

Last week I had Jackie work on some lingering issues that I’ve been living with, a combination of old sports injuries and an aging body. What I found at Freedom Massage Clinic was a hybrid of massage, physical therapy, and science. Jackie’s struck me as someone with the knowledge of a doctor and inquisitiveness of an explorer. Along with traditional massage, she applied Shockwave and laser therapy to my legs -technologies that I’ve never experienced before. After working on one leg manually, she applied a laser mat to the injury to promote blood flow. As a result, it felt like I was receiving a full hour of “healing” on each leg. I am grateful for the work that Jackie did on my injuries, and for the knowledge that she imparted at the end of the session. Her skills and services are precisely what I’ve been searching for in a massage therapist. The next time I’m back in Barrie I plan on booking more sessions.

My Husband had been dealing with Sciatic nerve pain for close to 5yrs. Different pain meds, MRI's, X-rays, Ultra sounds, you name it, Doctors put him through the wringer. With pain at an all-time high and no where left to turn, I found Freedom Massage. I had 1st looked at a few dozen other places, but none had deep treatment. So, called and booked an appointment with Jackie. The woman is a miracle worker!! 3 treatments! That's what it took! After 5 yrs!! My husband praised her, so I booked an appointment with Jackie to hopefully get help with my shoulders, neck and extreme tension headaches. Dang miracle worker! I'm pretty sure I told her I loved her at one point. If you are suffering from chronic anything, or pain in general, book an appointment!! The only regret you'll have is not having done it sooner!

Edited***Brenda was my massage therapist and she was excellent. I went for a therapeutic massage to help ease a pulled muscle/spasm caused by shoveling snow and she understood what I was going through and how to massage those areas (neck, shoulders and back). I highly recommend. Edit: I had to edit this review.. I'm sorry. But that night I slept my neck and back hurt worse than before going to get a massage. Next day I am still in a lot more pain than before. Im not saying it was the masseuse but maybe a massage wasnt the cure to alleviating my pain.

I just returned from a wonderful massage treatment with Liz Wilson at Freedom Massage Clinic. (Admittedly, I simply searched the web, in desperation for a next day massage and I was blessed to have come across this rare, five star find!) It was in a great location with free parking! It had great hours and the online booking made it even more convenient, so I took a chance! Upon arrival, I was greeted with friendly staff and was personally toured around the clean and unique space (inspirational doors) and was introduced to its wealth of available services! Liz sat and discussed my profile, with a caring consultation. She then listened to my needs with her magic hands! I will admit, the hot towels have guaranteed a return for me! The welcome package in itself proves the sheer thoroughness and professionalism that this clinic provides! I will definitely "tell two friends"!

Having a knee replacement is NO fun ! Jackie was truly (I mean it) my savour ????I went to her at 80% bend and now I’m at 120% in a few appts! My surgeon wanted to do another surgery to force bend it. No surgery and also pain free. Her equipment is TOP notch and high end. Her professional and level of care is absolutely incredible! Really great massage done by Natalie Warren. Loved how she walked me through an assessment before the massage to see what was wrong. The massage itself was great. There was no weird uncomfortable pressure applied to my ribs when massaging my back which sometimes seems to happen with other massage therapists. Also really appreciated the extra exercises suggested at the end of the massage for after care. Definitely an awesome level of care. I'll be going back again.

HAPPY & PAIN FREE!!! I am an enthusiastic resistance ( weight ) trainer & have dealt with shoulder issues off and on for years. When my shoulder was injured again badly enough that I needed help putting on my jacket I thought I'd try Freedom Massage. My Friday email was replied to quickly & Jackie squeezed me in on Saturday! After diagnosis was done she treated the shoulder with massage, laser, heat & tape. I was AMAZED when 4 days later the shoulder was absolutely 100% pain free!!!!!!! I headed back to the gym and full intensity workouts without a single ongoing issue. After that experience I thought I'd give her a shot at a lifetime back pain issue. One treatment resulted in great relief. I haven't been back since, but when the back gets bad again or when I hurt another 65 year old joint in the gym I sure know who I'm calling!!!!!! I'm happy to have found Freedom Massage Clinic, it is a hidden gem. Very close to Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie. When I arrived I was greeted by Liz who was my RMT. After a brief consultation she got to work. Her treatment is relaxing and therapeutic. I could not believe how good I felt after my appointment. Her hands like magic! I will be returning again for my next treatment. The clinic is a bit of a travel for me, (30 mins) but worth the drive. I have been to many clinics, this one by far the best massage. Thanks Liz!

I herniated a lumbar disk just prior to Christmas and had holiday plans and a trip to Mexico organized. I was literally on my back for 5 straight days and a trusted friend referred me to Jackie Mungal to provide some relief. Meeting Jackie made me feel comfortable. Her professional and kind demeanor was evident immediately. She scheduled me for an appointment at 4:15 on Christmas Eve night and proceeded to work on me for almost 2 hours. She then found out about my upcoming trip to Mexico and told me to come in at 11 am on CHRISTMAS DAY! She worked on me for 2 hours with RMR, massage, and laser treatments on both Christmas and Boxing Day. On the morning of the 28th, I boarded my flight to Mexico and the heat and the pool worked wonders. I will always be grateful to Jackie not only for alleviating my discomfort but being so selfless and kind. I can't recommend her more. I wish Jackie and Freedom Massage Clinic a wonderful 2020!
