My husband and I stopped at this spa for our honey moon and our first couples massage (end of August 2016).They have set the bar high for us for couples spa experiences. Their facility is very clean and tranquil.. the bathrooms were very clean and they provided everything a lady needs including a hair straightener and clean hair brushes. Very organized staff. We loved our treatments and our massage therapists were very skilled and attentive. Great bedside manners and very therapeutic experience. We loved spending the afternoon using their shared facility with the hotel. We love trying spas around Calgary, Canmore and Banff. This is still one of my favourites:)

Gift certificates never expire! We got a gift card for the value of a couple's massage for our Baby-Shower in 2016. We just used it a couple of weeks ago. The price of a couple's massage had gone up by $20 since then so we paid the difference + tip but it was wonderful to enjoy this wonderful treatment for my birthday almost 2 years later once we finally had a chance to get out together for the day.

I just want to begin by saying the facility itself is nice, the hot pool is great and very relaxing prior to the massage. The ladies my friend and I received our services from were very friendly and professional. My biggest complaint is that my massage was more like a gentle caress, I left with my back just as sore as it had been when I walked in and for almost $200 it's extremely disappointing! Otherwise, the only other complaint is the change rooms being insanely small with only 1 bathroom to change in which lacks privacy.

Great couples massage, very professional and relaxing. However, I don't really recommend the couples tub soak. Its literally just a giant bathtub with jets that are so loud they sounded like jet engines. Can't hear each other speak or really relax.

I attended Red Earth Spa for a "spa day" with a girlfriend. This was my second visit to the spa, and her first. We had a truly exceptional visit! It was mid week in November, so the spa, and Banff in general, were quiet, and there was a 20% discount on certain spa services. We arrived early to relax in the hot tub and steam room, both of which we had to ourselves. The facilities are lovely and very relaxing, with a large hot tub, and a private spa lounging area. There was a miscommunication with the spa and one of our massage therapists ran late - the spa staff were very apologetic and arranged to provide a complimentary lunch from The Keg for us to make up for the minor inconvenience. This was actually a lovely perk, and made for an even longer and more relaxing spa experience. The guest service was top notch. The massages themselves were fantastic - I especially enjoyed the "add on" 15 minute scalp massage. We will definitely be back - we may have to make this November girls trip an annual tradition.

Not an inclusive space. I booked pedicures and the thought had crossed my mind to ask if they were a size inclusive establishment, but ultimately I didn't think that was something I should need to do. Of all places, a spa, literally a business working with human bodies, should understand the diversity of a body. Of course they do know that, given that their staff have rather diverse body shapes. So, given that they have brains and large sized staff, it goes to show that they intentionally do not include accomodations for people who are larger than average. My hips are big, and I could not comfortably fit into their given robes. There's no real reason they can't have either options available, or give robes that are sure to cover everyone. It's a robe. It's not meant to be form fitting. No one will complain at extra fabric. Being in a tight robe that leaves a person exposed when walking or sitting is so unbelievably uncomfortable and humiliating. I brought it up to the girl at the front desk, and she didn't seem concerned, not that she would be, as she fits societies standards. Her empathy was lacking and she quickly brushed off the matter, mentioning only that she would "bring it up", and not engaging, conversing, or offering any sort of solution. The girl behind her didn't say anything, but she looked like she did actually care about the issue. Hopefully she said something. And then aside from that, the given sandals are tiny, and not for anywhere near all feet. I just don't know why a spa would not have options available, offer at the beginning to have a size selection, or just make everything comfortable and inclusive. It completely defeats the purpose of relaxation and comfort. If someone is choosing a service that is based off of making a person feel good, that service shouldn't be doing what it can to exclude certain people. That's wrong. I do not recommend this spa if you have any sort of issues with your body, especially if you are not able bodied, as it does have stairs to get in. If you want a place you can truly relax, and sitting in a lounge with a chair doesn't make you highly anxious/exposed/uncomfortable, please go elsewhere. That said, the actual pedicure that I booked was well done, and the ladies performing the service were excellent. It's unfortunate that they have to be represented by a divisive and exclusive business.

This place was amazing. Didn't get to see the pool, but the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff delightful, and the massage incredible. Will be going back if the chance pops up for another one. It is on the pricier side, but it is worth it.

was extremely disappointed with my experience at Red Earth Spa. I had a group booking with 6 girls for my bachelorette party-this was booked months in advance. Just as we were about to leave for our appointment, the manager called to let us know staff had called in sick and 3 girls had to cancel their services. This manager was not apologetic and did not offer any discount for the inconvenience. Later in the day, I was waiting for my massage. 20 minutes after my massage was supposed to start, I went to the front desk to ask what is happening. The receptionist casually told me “oh that RMT never showed up today”. So they were just going to leave me waiting for a service that would never come. Again, no apology. It was a gong show figuring out who would give me a massage:/ The sauna was also out of order! No reimbursement! Very expensive services, poor customer service and old uncomfortable equipment/furniture There are many other spas that are well worth your money!

Massage was fine but the 2 month nightmare resulted from staff not paying attention to how they put credit cards in & then fixing it all wrong. Has caused me to do a lot of work to get it fixed properly. Manager only offered 20% off next visit. NO THANK YOU! Very bad experience. Won’t ever be back!

I took my wife here on our honeymoon last week. It was my first massage ever, and I would have to say the bar was set pretty high. Formerly being in the fitness industry it was nice to see that the RMT was able to quickly understand and work with some of the issues I had. The staff was extremely friendly and even gave us a little token because it was our honeymoon. I will return here if I'm in the area again.

Wonderful spa in Banff. Very friendly and accommodating. Lockers for your personal items. Variety of sizes of robes and sandals. Nice hot pool on site that goes great after a treatment. Personal grooming items in the change rooms a nice touch. Prices are very reasonable.

The massage was great and the hot tub and steam room are great. The only complaint is that changing and showering in the small space is very difficult and not much privacy is available.
