I booked a couples massage session in November 2020, I'm unsure of the name of our massage therapists - but they did a wonderful job! One of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had, and my boyfriend also said the same for his session. I will definitely have to book again when I visit Banff again!

Karen is an amazing, knowledgeable and caring RMT. She planned the therapy for an issue that I was dealing with for years, and it went very well and exactly how was planned. During this progress, Karen was so supportive and understanding. Tried to comfort me, referred me to the right people and follow up. I really can’t recommend her enough. AWFUL! I have never written a negative review but this was so, so bad! Started with reception: she was very short with us as we filled out forms. The bed had long hairs from a previous client (eww!). Then - the WORST massage I've ever had in my life - it was painful, lacked any skill ... I highly doubt he was an RMT. The music kept cutting out and then cracking back on for the entire time and he asked me about the pressure at least 30 times. I actually ended the massage early. I told reception that it was terrible and she just stared at me and then said: they are RMTs. There are so many other great places for massage in Banff. DON'T waste your money. AWFUL. EDIT - I see several others have had similar experiences. I didn't scroll far enough for the many RED FLAGS! including them being delisted by insurance companies.

It was okay, the massage overall was pretty good, I had no complaints. However this place was 40 dollars more than "back at it", the quality of the massage wasn't that great compared to the local competition either. What really irked me was the fact that I paid 130 + tax for an hour, and they had the audacity to ask for a tip. A RMT is a registered professional, and the fact that they charged $40 more than their competition should mean that they shouldn't even consider a tip.

Regular here me and my girlfriend had maybe one time where it wasn't the best(definitely not bad!) but honestly Ive been to a lot of massage places in Banff and Calgary and this is by far my favorite place, always feels great , staff are friendly , some use different styles to, when you get massage which makes you feel like your in another country which is awesome! been coming here for I think about year or even more now, Banff local, definitely recommend I'm always recommending to buddy's at work when they complain about back pain. 10/10 I've been disappointed alot at other places took me a while to discover this place and glad I did (:

I had Sue has a therapist and I truly can't say enough about how amazing this massage was. She is a true healer. I have had over 2 dozen massages in the last year and nothing compares to the massage I had today. It wasn't the soft relaxing type some might prefer but the relief I feel in my back is outstanding. Highly recommend and I will make the drive to banff for a massage with her again

This is the best massage I have ever had! Karen knew where to work on my tension and communicated with me on her pressure to make sure I was comfortable! Bliss Valley is the most comfortable massage studio I have ever been to in the Bow Valley! Highly recommended! I will be going back again.

If you are in need of a massage amd looking forward to it do not book here! We booked a day before came to the appointment only to be disappointed because they lost our booking appointment!!??? They did try and set up another time but when you are on a schedule that does not work very good!! Maybe some kind of compensation would of spoke more loudly and really says sorry for our mistake!! Never booking there again!!

This place came highly recommended by a friend so two of my good friends and I have decided to try their services on New Year’s Eve. We had an amazing deep tissue massages and hot stone treatment! I have been living in Banff for more than 10 years and been to a lot of massage places in town and I finally found a place that I like. Relaxus in Cascade mall is new in town, the place is soothing and the staff are very accomodating. Jane, the owner is very kind and helpful when we asked for a couple's massage , she accomodate us right away. Maria and Karen are very nice asking about the pressure all the time.I can see myself and my girlfriend being regulars here! Thanks for the great service. By the way, head massage was spot on ????????

If you have equitable life group plan don't bother with this place because it is on the equitable's delisted provider list. You will not be able to claim insurance. A quick search shows that one of the reasons a business is delisted is that it could have been involved in fraud claims etc. Who knows why this place is delisted. If it's just my luck to be the first one to have had this happened to then oh well. But if this place deliberately withheld the fact that it's delisted from equitable life then shame on you for dishonest practice. The name in your system should be Diep Nguyen if you want to look up.

Rainy day in Banff so me and my partner decided to get a relaxation massage after spending the last few of our weekends hiking. The place creates good ambiance, the customer service at the front is great, warm and welcoming. We have both had a lot of massages, and this unfortunately was actually the worst one we’ve ever had! Both my partner and I walked away feeling anxious, which shouldn’t happen after a relaxation massage. We both felt our therapists focused their attention on one body part at a time. My therapist sniffled the entire way through, which just shouldn’t happen. My partner was cold throughout the massage also. Unfortunately we will never return, or recommend this place to anyone. The staff working here need further training and need to cater to their clients. We are both surprised to see the higher reviews, and wished that we’d been given the therapists which contributed to the high reviews, not the ones we had.

Was fortunate to snatch up a two-hour opening for a therapeutic massage. RMT, Andrea, was attentive and toggled between therapeutic and relaxation (plus some Thai) massage techniques to address areas accordingly. It's the best massage I have ever had. Andrea was thorough and also took the time to share tips on stretches and other helpful advice to address tense muscles. Very pleased with the service. Great value.

Had a couples massage, my partner was satisfied with her massage. Pressure and tone was right for what she had asked for, that being the Swedish Massage. My massage was well below par, I had opted for the deep tissue massage. Having had a number of massages throughout the world and regular deep tissue massages at home this was the least effective deep tissue massage I have ever experienced. The masseurs pressure was very inconsistent, the stretches where very mediocre. Stretches and twists are only effective when holding the opposite part of the body static in my experience or it seems to have no effect on what is trying to be achieved. But of a shame really as the place is very inviting and has a lovely ambiance about it - very relaxing. I have to say that I have come away feeling very oily and achy across the shoulders, such a shame after reading such good reviews.

My wife and I went here to get a couples massage. While the massage itself was ok the admin lady knew I was using Equitable life as my benefits provider. When it came time to process my claim thru equitable it got declined because this establishment has been delisted from equitable life database and will not approve any claim. I reached out to relaxus banff/banff town/grotto massage and they said they will let the owner know and get back to me. Well it has been almost a month and have not heard back from them. This is just a heads up on people using equitable life.

I went for a couples massage in July 2020 and it was great, but they forgot to charge my benefits directly and said they would email me the receipt for me to do. It's almost end of August and after multiple calls, they are not sending me the receipt. I'm starting to wonder if they are registered RMTs??? Be careful or get your extended benefits billed before leaving. ******************** Update: On the 3rd try I was able to speak to the receptionist and they did send it to the wrong email. I stayed on the phone with them to resend it to the correct email. Thanks for your help, but I still recommend to get your benefits billed at their center.

Made an appointment for 10:00, the staff arrived at 9:56 when I went in I was informed that they didn’t have a therapist, she called one and said she could be there at 10:30, I Said okay. The final issue was she said you’ll have to come back since I have to lock the door. I was booked for two hours, I said forget it.

They focused in on the areas we had indicated were sore. The Neck and head massages were amazing!! We left feeling completely satisfied. I would recommend Relaxus, to anyone looking to relax!

AMAZING! I may have her name wrong but Ryu gave me two of the best massages I have ever had. I came to Banff for a weekend getaway, but before i left I got a huge knot in my neck and back. I called Relaxus at around 5pm and they were able to get me in around 7pm. I had a one hour massage that night and then another hour massage the following day. My neck and back feel great. I highly recommend Relaxus as well as the massage therapist Ryu ( I'm sorry if I'm spelling that wrong or I got her name wrong).

We had the couples massage today and it was fantastic. Prenatal massage for the wife put her to sleep on several occasions, and I opted for the deep tissue which amazing. Doesn’t look like much at the entrance (small reception area) but has several large massage rooms. Thank you ladies.

After reading all the incredible reviews on google, we booked a couple's massage here. We were taken to our rooms where we ended up waiting almost 15 minutes with our faces down before our therapists even came- this is very out of the ordinary. I also found it odd how they don't talk to you at all before hand, but hey, maybe that's how it is in Banff. I had the worst massage of my life. I asked my therapist 4 times throughout to lower her pressure. She would do so for about 10 seconds and the pressure will always go back up ever so slightly. I normally would ask therapists to go firm or medium firm so its not like I'm a person that's sensitive to pressure. She also gave me two wedgies... lol. Some parts of the massage were ok, some parts very uncomfortable. Both therapists also managed to cut the massage short by 15 minutes. I thought I'd be ok with things as long as my partner enjoyed his massage... He said it was painful and weird and he got the relaxation massage! That was when I went out to talk to reception and told her about everything. She was very apologetic and confirmed that our time was indeed cut short. She also waived the fee for one massage. We appreciate her compassion and that is why I am rating this two stars instead of zero. I know these two therapists are regulars there so I would really advise against going if you are looking for a good massage. I also now wonder how many of the other 13 reviews are real, since 10/13 has only (at the time of writing this) ever reviewed once on Google ever and only at this place; the other 3 reviewed twice. Food for thought.

I’ve never had a massage before, but Loida was fantastic! It was a calming and comforting environment. She so clearly knew what she was doing and I felt amazing afterwards. She found knots and painful areas that I had simply become accustomed to. I still can’t believe how great it was. Thank you!

I just came out of Relaxus Banff massage. I took one hour deep tissue massage. The massage was as good as any in the world. Infact it was one of the better massages I have taken, and I took massages at many places around the globe. Highly recommended to anyone in Banff. Excellent customer service, manners and massage skills. Bless you people.
