Emily is the best! Especially if you're an athlete that stays fairly fit and limber already. Update: Emily has now left Massage experts, and it took me a few therapists to find KATIE. Katie is now the best one there, she got some insane releases in my muscles to loosen up. Felt sooo good after. Highly recommend

Receptionist was so rude and arrogant. She doesn't know how to give respect the people. she will not help you to make your appointment comfortable if you ask something then. Registered massage person gives you the best service but disappointed at front either you will talk on phone or front. I booked my appointment for Saturday Andrew they asked me for the payment information and after I have given the review about the truth. She cancelled my appointment and I called her back then told me I am the boss here and I am cancelling your appointment by me end without any fault.

Reached 10 min late due to my little one's nanny took time to reach...then they made me fill form then I waited again for few min for therapist and then all that talk before massage starts and in all this I lost 30 min ...and they charged me for full one hour but I got massage for 30 min of only upper body...and they blamed me saying it was my fault I was 10 min late...this was my first visit and I was really excited and had taken day off from work especially but I guess I made a really wrong choice...won't want to go again there after this unaccommodating behaviour...you should have fair policies when charging customers if you cannot provide complete hour of service or at least let them know this is how you people function so informed choices can be made...you cannot have one way rules...I would definately let as many people as possible know of this place and their unfriendly behaviour

Great service and I was able to get a booking with only a day's notice. My massage therapist was excellent, responsive to my concerns/needs, and very professional. They'll work with insurers, but I was out of pocket and their prices are very reasonable and competitive.

Every massage I’ve ever had at massage experts has been fantastic!! My normal masseuse was unavailable, so I booked with Corey ! He was very helpful and listened to my concerns as I have a problem with some nerve damage and he helped loosen the muscle up around there making it easier for me to move about!! It was great. The massage was actually pretty good and better than most places I've been to in Halifax. The issue was this place was with the employee they have working the front disk. before going in there i tried to call 5 times because I had a question about my insurance but no one answered. and when i got in there she said she had a customer in the shop (I am still at loss to understand why she couldn't answer and put me on hold). Anyways , i got in there filled the form and gave it to her. got the massage and went outside to deal with her again, she tells me that my insurance does not work, so i was like fine ill pay for it and give me a receipt, so she does that , but after I got to my car I noticed that she spelled my name wrong in the receipt (even though I wrote it on a piece of paper and gave it to her) so I had to go back and get another receipt. I ended up calling my insurance to ask them why the insurance was not working, the woman on the phone told me that it should have worked and she could not think of any reason to why they were not able to do direct billing. so now I have to do 30 min of administration work and insurance chasing for no reason.

RMTs are very professional, the place is very clean and they are doing their Covid safety protocol. Rivia Simoes, she's my new favorite. She was so caring and an excelleIent RMT. I have a chronic back pain due to stress at work. She was able to pin point and relieve that pain. I had to book her again next weekend because I was satisfied with her service. I will definitely recommend her to my family and friends ????????????????????????

Rude receptionist. How can we have appointment without talking to this rude receptionist who didn't even listen to what the customer is saying. I know I missed 2 of her calls but I'm at work that time and usually don't use my phone coz I'm busy.but I did fill up the forms she sent.and when I finally have time to call this morning she already cancelled the appointment. So how about the people who took off to their work just to have a massage but soon will be cancelled?Not fair at all.hope there is someone out there who have passion to their work and happy to do their job not like the one who recently answered my call.

Great therapists here. If you plan on having massages done regularly, I would highly recommend getting the membership. It saves me 20$ roughly per month and it's free (valid credit card required to be kept on file). Most of the front end staff know me by name since I go monthly, which is nice to have that friendly service as well.

So I came here for my first massage ever and i was all ready for my typical anxiety attack over strangers, being touched, new experience etc. Turns out it didnt happen, the receptionist was friendly and took care of insurance with zero hassle and Christopher was so confident and accommodating that it felt like i had been there a dozen times. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks :)

I have been to many massage clinics over the last 13 years, and this is the worst I have been to. First of all, the front desk receptionist (Joanne) is extremely rude. The moment I started talking to her I knew she did not know anything about customer service. No smile, not polite, just obnoxious. On top of that, the way she treated a new coworker was so rude, that I was getting uncomfortable. She is so disrespectful. From there, it got worse, and the massage therapist was horrible. She was new, I was her third client and I could tell because the quality of her service was so bad, that I asked her if she was new to the profession. I wish they gave me a warning. Other companies have done that, and I know what I'm going into or I can reschedule. Then, there was a problem where my claim could not be processed, because they didn't have the proper documents and when I provided it, they didn't have a fax machine. I quickly went to my previous massage/physio clinic (their massage therapist was away because she was injured, hence I tried this horrible place) they faxed the documents needed. I quickly go back to Massage experts and the receptionist (Joanne) refused to resubmit my claim. She is just plain lazy and unprofessional. During this whole process, she was so rude, defensive, unprofessional, and did not go the extra mile and top of that she rolled her eyes to the other receptionist thinking I was not looking. There have been complaints about Joanne's behaviour and I would let her go because she is toxic to the business and they will lose customers. If I was satisified with their service, they would have a customer for life. Stay away from this business. There are many massage clinics that are way better than this. Trust me, you will not be relaxed after you deal with Joanne.

I liked the therapist but the receptionist is rude. I have made an online appointment and sent the updated insurance details with that. Also, I have ensured that my new insurance details are in during the appointment confirmation call. On the appointment day the receptionist has cancelled my appointment saying my insurance didn't go through. Inspite I insisted to verify the details and try again she did not listen. Later I received an email stating no show. I really don't understand what she is upto. In customer facing role there should be someone kind.

I decided to try this location because its close to where i live. i'm so happy i did, the therapist richard listened and followed what areas i wanted to be focus on, i left feeling great and relaxed. i would highly recommend this place and seeing richard if you can, he's absolutely the best massage therapist i've ever gotten. :)

I can't believe how much my posture has improved since going there. The intake was professional like visiting a physiotherapist yet relaxed like going to a spa. It was a deep pressure and restorative massage to correct back and shoulder pain. I booked with Dylan. I have been able to sleep with out waking up to back pain for the first time in a decade. My posture has improved by 60% so far.
