Every time I need new orthotics I go see Paul at Lifemark Physiotherapy Portland Street. I am a nurse and work on my feet 12 hours a day therefore protecting my feet is very important. I feel confident that I have the expert care of Paul, he is also friendly, patient, and always takes the time to follow up. He's done countless sneaker assessments for me and even if my orthotics need a slight adjustment, he gets me in right away without hassle. Very recommended!

I walked in with an unknown hip pain, limiting my physical health and straining my mental one. Kathleen spent 40 minutes with me and in that time identified it (repetitive strain on my hip flexor), dry needled the muscle, heat treated it, and reassured me I would be fine. At home now and I have zero pain. I can feel the muscles relaxing. I recommend deep intentional breathing to the treated area. You can feel the difference. As well, the office staff are lovely. Tip with any needle work: the more relaxed you are the better it is (you can look away, why sike yourself out?)

After sustaining a motorcycle accident in April I have been in a lot of pain due to a severe ankle injury and a neck whiplash. I was advised to seek Physio from my doctor and the closest one to my house was Lifemark in Dartmouth so I met with Kathleen (the physio) and this is where my next journey began to a better and healthier recovery. She worked closely with me and offered me a better understanding of what had happened with the injury and what needed to be done in the healing process. I followed her advice and what I thought would be a very long process in healing has become a very positive one as I can now start walking and even biking again (not motorcycle). I look forward to seeing Kathleen every few days as she is very encouraging and very positive and is helping me work harder to get better that much faster. The exercises she encourages me to do are very well explained and I can do it from home to speed up my recovery. The supporting staff has been great and in no time I felt like I was surrounded by a team of friends rather then being just another patient. I would not hesitate to come in again for any other injuries that needs to be taken care off as I feel i’m in good hands here.

I have visited the Lifemark on Portland St, Dartmouth many times to receive massage with Bethany Wright. The staff is always welcoming and pleasant. I find their system very efficient for appointment reminders (text and email). I am a runner and Beth has worked on a few of my injuries and I have had fantastic results and I am now pain free. At one of my appoinments Beth went the extra distance and she brought in a Kenisiolgy specialist to help with my injury in which they taped with K-tape to help releive my pain. This was an extra that I never asked for or was charged any extra cost. I have also met Natalie Doucette who offered needling to help releive my pain if the massage and taping was not enough. I had never heard of the needling before and she was very helpful and shared her knowledge to give me a better understanding. I am extremly happy with the service I receive here and would highly recommend Bethany for massage.
