I have been visiting MH Vicars for about 5 years. The students and instructors are amazing! They know their stuff and work with each client to address individual needs. Out of the dozens of massages I’ve had from MHV students, I’ve only been disappointed with one. I have a thick file and a lot of issues, so that’s a pretty good track record! Worst school do not go here! They claim how they are the “best” when truth be told it is a vicious school with no care or concern for its students. They cancelled a blind student from taking his exam after he paid for his first year, they allowed bullying in their school, and I suggest students go elsewhere.

finished my first year at this school and yes it is top rate if you want a massage therapy school that WILL prepare you for entry to practice exams in any of the regulated provinces. due to scheduling issues, I did my second year at another college and I ended up spending another $5000 in outside training to get the quality that I would have received if I stayed here. Again, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! DONT EVEN BOTHER LOOKING AT ANY OTHER COLLEGE if you are wanting to practice massage therapy

I only have one star because the price is great for a massage. Not sure why they let you pick your therapist because if you get a favorite, after you see the same person twice they just change you to who ever. This happened to me 3 times in the 2 years I'd been going there. They just tell you oh you can't keep seeing the same therapist because they dont get new experiences from other people. My question is then why do u get to choose them???? Very very unprofessional in that regard. However I thought I would try them just one more time. Called them because I originally deleted my account. The front desk hummed and hawed about setting up my account n said they'd call me back. NO CALL BACK...after 3 weeks. I realize the price is great but save up your money and go to a regular clinic. Some of the therapists there have great potential though. I miss the one girl I used to go to.

I've been getting regular massages at MH Vicars for about 2 years. I suffer from TMJ issues and migraines, massage therapy provides the means to lead a 'normal' life. All of the students are great, they take instruction and feedback well. During your session staff check in and are there to offer suggestions and/or praise. Students give follow up exercises after treatment, and communicate through out to make sure your experience is the best. I highly recommend booking at MH Vicars School as soon as you can.

The staff and therapists are professional, caring and wise! Being a professional athlete with post concussion symptoms and chronic issues is very tiring and taxing but I’ve felt such relief after treatments that my aches and dizziness issues are resolved. Also their post massage home rehab helps keep the range of motion and reduce nerve pinching. It is obvious very high end professional work and client focus is their goal. Well done and thank you.

The staff is always professional and helpful, it always smells good and has a very calming vibe when you go in... Plus the students and instructors are amazing! ❤️ They always work on my areas that need it most, and also give a full body massage. The world needs more glute massages, truth! ????

These students on the average, are as good as many of the massage therapist I have seen who have graduated, now asking over $100. The students do their best, act quite professional and give a very good massage. The atmosphere is very pleasant, especially after the renovation and the building is spotless, truly spotless! A good massage and very professional in a nice atmosphere. I can't thank them enough for the free clinics and the low affordable prices that are well worth going there for. This is a great place to get a wallet-friendly massage, while helping the students by giving them valuable feedback. Understandably, some students have more strength than others, and some have less technique than others. The good news is that once you're in their system, you can try to choose your favourites. As this is a school, don't expect full silence. You are being massaged alongside other clients, separated by curtains, similar to a hospital room partition. The lights will be dimmed, the music will come on, and you will have a one hour massage. Students practice all aspects of their desired career, so you will be assessed, massaged, and then given some aftercare instructions. After which you will fill out a form about your experience.

I started going to MH Vicars school of Massage Therapy after my Accident Benefits ran out approximately 2.5 years ago. I have found the students and the Instructors to be outstanding and very professional..In my opinion the the majority of the students whether they were first or second year student were better equipped and more knowledgeable than several licensed Massage Therapists that worked in the Physiotherapist's Clinic. Not only were the massage treatments I received from the students superior and more beneficial then Treatments I received from other licensed massage therapists, the Instructors checked in and always showed the students techniques that allowed them to perform therapy tailored to me and included exercises that furthered my healing. It is amazing. I went from chronic constant pain, that limited how far I could walk, sit, stand, climb stairs, sleep. I had whiplash, TMJ, Migraines, I could go on and on. The best compliment I can give is that my physiotherapist recommended MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy to other patients he had . And I look forward to returning to the School when it re-opens for a tune-up and relaxation massages. A very big thank you to All the Students and Instructors.

I chose MH Vicars because it was an option where I could do my written homework on my own time, which was usually really late at night or squeezed in between double shifts! I wasn't able to be in class five days a week with a rigid schedule as I worked retail and serving at the time, so I chose a school where I could adapt homework time (including hands on) around work. The instructors were knowledgeable and supportive, both in class and for finding placement after graduation. Our questions in class were answered respectfully, and I felt that our instructors really cared about our progress beyond being faceless students, both because the class sizes are small and because the nature of the work itself encourages nurturing and caring environments. We covered a wide range of topics including business and ethics, and discussed associations to join, insurance, body mechanics (to prevent injury), etc. If I could go back and take this program at any school, I would still choose MH Vicars because I had such a positive experience, and I feel that this school was instrumental in making me a successful and confident RMT. Unfortunately, as someone mentioned below, it is not a nationally recognized post-secondary institution so if you need to take anatomy or physiology elsewhere for some reason, the courses will not be transferred. Any courses you might take after for credit, you will already be familiar with the material (bonus!) and can usually submit it to your association for a few credits anyway, so it hasn't bothered me in the slightest.

I’ve been going here for a year, up to Covid, and I have always had a great experience. I’ve learnt lots of different techniques that have helped me live with my aches and pains associated with my osteoarthritis. I was going once a week and now haven’t been since March with the Covid 19. I am anxious to get back to some kind of normal, whatever that may be, hopefully massages will be coming back soon.
