I visited Massage Above All for the first time today, and can genuinely say it was easily the most therapeutic massage experience I’ve ever had. I had the benefit of Pete (owner) being available for a last minute booking. His decades of experience are quickly demonstrated by his technique, and his passion for the job spilled into in his bright attitude. He was able to accurately identify ergonomic issues in my life and provided helpful, at home exercises to rectify issues. I live an hour from Red Deer and I have massage therapists locally, but I may have to consider trekking out to continue to visit here instead.

Maggie Covey is an absolute stellar RMT. I had exactly 0 professional massages before being massaged by Maggie at massage above all. I am now a repeat client with multiple massages from Maggie. The office and massage room were clean and the atmosphere was welcoming. Maggie takes time to make sure you don't feel rushed and neither does the massage. Her attention to detail regarding problem areas is amazing. Maggie provides effective after care tips as well to continue treatment at home. First professional massage. Take a chance and book with Maggie. Amazing work. I'll be returning for sure!

I love Massage Above All! It's quiet and cozy and everyone there is so professional and Tamina is hands down the BEST massage therapist I've ever had! I went to physio for 3 x/week for 3 weeks and that was a waste of my time and went to Tamina ONCE and she fixed me! I would recommend anyone to Massage Above All!

Went today for a massage with my husband and we both came out after a hour session asking ourselves if either our massage therapist had any training. I’ve had numerous massages before in multiple countries and this one was the worst. It’s wasn’t for a lack of effort more so seemed the lack of training. I would not recommend this establishment.

I have been in search of great massage place and this is one of the places I would recommend. I have April as my masseuse. She is knowledgeable of the areas I am asking her to work on. She also make sure you are relaxing by concentrating on massaging. She knows and respects the fact that you went there to relax and not to chat which I appreciate greatly as I've had masseuse that would talk and talk which is a major turn off for a masseuse.

Hubby had some torticollis in his shoulder and was in immense pain. After just being released from the hospital where the doctor rudely informed us that nothing was physically wrong, I took him to the bonecrusher across the street who was just walking out for the day as we were walking in. The receptionist suggested we try Massage Above All because it was awesome she said and it was conveniently located right across the street. We walked in and as I was conversing with the receptionist, a gal came directly to us and immediately attended to my husband - asking him some questions, etc. He was in so much pain he could barely talk, however, so she took us straight back. She's so busy I hate to give people more encouragement to request her - we'd rather keep her to ourselves! - but Andrea is a brilliant massage therapist. It took a few sessions to iron my husband out, but even after the first rather impromptu session - which she didn't even charge us for! - hubby was already much improved. The service has always been great, prompt and pleasant from all parts of the business.

I've tried many in red deer and by far that one are the best ... they hirring people that care and it shows ... I strongly advice this place the only downside is no A/C in summer and it can get pretty hot in the building

Atmosphere is very nice with the music,smell and heated bed covers, massage was good, but they are quite busy and its very hard to get a hold of someone on the phone and even harder to get in, multi day wait times are not unusual.

I like the fact that I can come in and tell my therapist Josh what I need worked on and than I get take a break and relax. He lets me just zone out while I get the specific muscles worked on. Very professional and best massage in town!!! My whole family comes here!

Had my very first massage ever at massage above and it's 100% the best place to go for a massage in red deer. The whole staff and management are the most wonderful giving people. I was in a lot of pain and they fixed it with just one massage. I love the atmosphere and positive vibes the place gives out. It's the only place to go.

My last experience dealing with this company has been a nightmare. I have had a few massages with Becky and Andrea (they were great, and I was able to direct bill with these therapists). But when I booked with Ashley, the receptionist told me I would have to pay upfront and get reimbursed through my benefits. When I submitted my expense, I was told through my insurance plan that Ashley was not registered at the time of my massage, so I would not get reimbursed. I am left wondering if Ashley was even a RMT at the time of my massage, because otherwise I would have been reimbursed (I have been reimbursed with other certified therapists). Massage Above All’s solution was to offer a free massage. I suggested a refund because if I was not LIED to before I booked with Ashley, I would not have to pay anything out of pocket, and I would not have to have another massage with this therapist (I would not recommend seeing her). Dealing with Kaitlyn (who I believe is the main receptionist) has proven to be uneventful. She has told me multiple times she would “call me back tomorrow with information” and “I have to talk to Pete, so I will get back to you”, but I have yet to receive a call from her. I am consistently contacting her to figure this out. I have been dealing with this situation since June 2018 and it is still unresolved. Ashley is NOT a very good therapist (possibly because she is not certified?) and the management staff is difficult to get a hold of, and not helpful.

Amazing experience! After taking a fall from the horse my daughter was pretty sore. During her massage my kiddo was so comfortable and relaxed she started snoring! Ask for Rebecca, she's fantastic!

Had issues with first visit as the company's computer wouldn't put my benefits card through. Called back to reschedule . Was informed no appointment available for 5 pm .till 11 days from when I called. Yes I was disappointed and when secretary Saud sorry.. I said ya whatever.. she informed me I needed to grow up and then hung up on me.. when I called back . The manager was ignorant and rude. Reality check... people get disappointed when they're in pain. So take a hint Above All Massage.. Customers service and understanding go a long way.

They have un-qualified personal working as massage therapists. I paid out of pocket and submitted my receipt to my health care insurance, but it was denied because the person performing the massage was not qualified.

I love that I'm given tips on how to help myself also ! It shows they really care about how you feel not just how many apts you'll make.
