This plaza is used by the community to the fullest extent. One of the highlights of the Lawrence Plaza is the 24hr metro. A person can always get food or grocery goods at any convenient time. The store is usually closed during statutory holidays as normal. One of the downsides of Lawrence Plaza is that many of the shops are not wheelchair accessible. Many of the patrons do need barrier free entrances and this is an obstacle they must be able to overcome. The parking lot does offer a lot of spots for people with disabilities.

Parking lot was clean. Usually it's full of garbage left by people. The store metro had a line up to get in as per COVID-19 mandatory restrictions. Not to many customers to the rest of the businesses in the plaza.

Probably ranks the WORST PARKING LOT IN TORONTO.!!!! But there is a Great Jewish Bakery here.!!!! It's the only reason I'd ever be found here.

I like Lawrence Plaza because it has the Metro, Winners, Shoppers Drug Mart, CIBC, Liqueur Store and many more little stores. Very convenient.

Nothing super exciting; however the Metro there is really nice. You'll also find a Second Cup, Shopper's Drug Mart, Carter's, Winners, and other small little shop. A staple of the area is United Dairy Baker's nice, very casual place for brunch or dinner.

Traffic could get congested at times, besides a bunch of very necessary important Staples like a 24-hour Metro, a very large late night Shoppers Drug Mart, and a CIBC, and a second cup, nothing that stands out as super spectacular. But it accomplishes fulfilling its necessity so Props for that

Decent shops but not great. The winners has a very long line all the time (I used to go once a week). The parking is atrociously laid out making it hard for people to move and causes a lot of congestion and angry drivers.

Plaza has a good collection of stores. Winners, Metro, LCBO, Shoppers and many more. Only thing is the congestion. If you go during normal hours, the parking lot is a zoo. No one understands how to drive once they enter and it's difficult to find a parking spot and get yourself out.

Plaza is usually very busy, and even though there is a large parking lot it's often hard to find parking. The plaza has several good stores and resturants including United Bakers, Metro, and a Shoppers Drug Mart.

Terrible drivers in the parking lot! All the spaces are slanted so the driveways are one-way only. But the drivers either ignore the rules or are oblivious to it. Walking to the stores are a hazardous affair as pedestrians are treated as mere obstacles that are to be run over. Entrance and exit to the parking lots are always clogged up. Avoid this place when possible.

I only went to this plaza for the Shoppers Drug Mart And the Metro that is open 24 hours. Metro has most grocery items at reasonable price and alot of Hot/Cold dishes ready to Serve. There's even Sushi???? and Fruits trays available. Very Clean and Friendly Cashiers..

People stopping in front of metro to pick up groceries blocking the driveway from Lawrence Avenue, even though there is special pick up parking spots out of the way directly adjacent to the front doors. Security guard working the area doing nothing to control traffic chaos.

Nice selection of good shops, Second Cup, Shoppers, grocery store, and more. It was better when Metro (grocery store) was 24 hours, because parking at peak times can be very hard and this in turn makes walking across the parking lot kind of dangerous.

I like Lawrence Plaza a lot and have been frequenting there for years. It helps that they have 3 different banks, a pharmacy store (shoppers), and a grocery store. They just added a much needed LCBO to this plaza. It's a great plaza for a quick shopping run. I've never had any issues with parking. There is also a kosher Second Cup in this plaza. The Shoppers Drug Mart in this plaza is open till midnight.

I used to live in the area so would frequent this plaza and I still do come often to go to the Winners. The parking lot is a zoo with one way only lanes that a lot of people don't pay attention to, especially near the Metro and Winners. The Metro has both a Tim Hortons and a Flower Shop inside which is convenient. There are a few small businesses in the plaza as well as a Dollar Store and a Carters/Oshkosh. There is also a Shoppers Drug Mart that sells some grocery items.

Other than the Fortino's, Canadian Tire, Marshall's and Petsmart, this mall is kind of a joke. Food court is sadly lacking any real food. The stores are no-name local stores with TERRIBLE quality clothing and shoes. Avoid unless visiting the aforementioned shops.

Most of the chairs had been removed from the main floor. People have to go now to the food court upstairs to sit down. Security officials are standing at each end of the food court and constantly watching you. Feels like you are in China.

Grandparents lived in Lawrence heights for 50+ years man enjoyed Lawrence plaza Kmart, and Eaton's,Simpsons, etc.....ice cream was great when frozen upside down , Coleman's deli served great deli snacks and sandwiches, old coffee shop at the corner great coffee before second bought place out and excellent pizza bagels .

Drivers there are rude!! They don't give pedestrians the right of way. They see you but speed up to avoid stopping. However when they get out of their vehicle they expect other drivers to stop for them on a dime!! No respect for others, because they drive, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, porches..... etc

This place needs more restaurants, such as Wimpy's Diner. Also it needs more handicapped parking places and more accessibility for the numerous seniors to enter places such as United Bakers. Signage could be improved: instead of only the arrows on the pavement, signs could be placed to show drivers which way they can go when seeking a parking place.

This is a good plaza with many different shops. I often shop at the metro and the winners. The metro has great selection and is very clean. The winners is one of the best in the city. Does get busy at times but there are many great deals to be had. I would strongly recommend this plaza for your shopping needs.

There's a lot more here than I thought at first. Quite conveniently pretty much everything you need. I was only visiting the shoppers drug Mart as well as the home health Care Division of shoppers drug Mart called well wise. Also dropped by the second cup but unfortunately it was a bit lackluster. Overall it's a pretty busy part of town but has a lot of different kind of shops and products accessible. There's also a large Metro here which is helpful.

Lots of great little shops in a strip plaza type setting. Lots of parking and usually a pain to get in or out of. Metro is the main attraction here.

A classic Plaza. Lots of great anchors. It's been around for a long long time. Well over 60 years. I remember one of the anchors being Morgan's department store boy that goes back a long way . A word to the wise, be very careful driving in there. A high proportion of elderly drivers. Don't get upset just accept it for what it is and when you see somebody driving the wrong way down a one-way Lane just shrug it off. A recent renovation on the parking lot has definitely helped.

Talk about a parking lot nightmare. Even the single direction lanes can't tame the chaos. Really old fashioned layout. The metro is nice though if you can find a time it's not ultra busy and the homeless that panhandle at the front don't yell anything too upsetting.

Pedestrians take their lives in their hands in the parking lot. Cross walks are not clearly marked. New one way signs to guide the traffic are often ignored by drivers desperate for one of the woefully inadequate number of parking spots. Commuters who leave their vehicles all day should be ticketed and fined. Winter months, with huge mounds of ploughed snow exacerbate the situation to unacceptable levels. The variety and quality of stores still makes this plaza my favorite destination.

Good luck parking. It's a zoo. And the Metro supermarket is afraid you might take one of their shopping carts too far from the building, so they barricade them in. You can't take a cart more than 8 feet from the doorway. What a pain! Not worth the trip, unless it's the middle of the night... they're the only place open 24 hours.

They're adding a lot more brand name chain stores and eliminating a lot of the mom and pop type shops =(. However they FINALLY filled the empty space that used to be Zellers years ago. Now it's Home Sense and Marshall's. And Pet's Mart.

This mall offers a good shopping experience. The Winners Store here is one of my favorites ...it is large, with a good selection. You need to know your prices so so can shop knowledgeablly, and you can get great bargains. As with all Winner's Stores, there is little help on the floor.....just go through the racks. The check out can take a while depending on the crowd-size and number of cashiers on duty. The staff go out of their way to be friendly.

Even after the multiple turnover of stores and/or signage renovations to make it prettier this place is not worth it. The parking lot is and always has been scary, dangerous and irresposible. How it's lined, how the cement blockers are nearly non-existent and how no one ever seems to be checking if cars are parked or manoeuvring correctly. And while large trucks dropping off cargo for the grocery store need and have to preform contortionist acts while blocking an entrance and exit and sometimes even Bathurst st traffic is nuts. (I believe this place actually needs a full time bylaw enforcement officer) If you value your car don't attempt this lot. If you value your pedestrian safety make sure you talk to someone who knows how to navigate it. I'm only giving this plaza ANY stars because the Metro has never given me issues and the TD Bank has been great as well.

Getting in and out of this busy plaza can be a challenge and the same is true for parking. The Winners and Metro stores which are next to one another cause a great congestion in that dude of the plaza. There are many other small one-off stores that seem to have loyal following and the United Bakery is well known and always busy with its loyal customers.

ACCESSIBILITY ALERT: Not all stores are accessible. United Bakery, Ultramatic, the X-Ray clinic. Strange, because other stores there have a ramp (LCBO), or have created a sloped, rather than stepped, entrance. If there was full accessibility, I would give Lawrence Plaza a 4.5 star rating, because everything that we need is in one convenient place.

I shop at this Plaza everyday because it's about a couple hundred yards away from where I live. It's very convenience not only in location but there's a Metro there that's open 24 hours a day which comes in very handy. It's a pretty comprehensive cross-section of retail locations ranging from food stores, LCBO,coffee shops, personal care doctors offices x-ray lab and Banks. Extremely busy and extremely popular Hard to get a parking spot at times. Very popular with the neighborhood.j

I go to the plaza frequently as it has a conveniently located Canadian Tyre. It also has possibly one of the last remaining full service shoe/boot repair shops owned by a very affable operator...very adept at all sorts of leather repair PLUS a great assortment of "shoe-horns" and other knick knax. The general atmosphere has vastly improved over the years. If you are budget conscious this is where you need to shop for reasonably priced value merchandise.And oh yes. It has a Fortinos!!!

Lawrence Plaza is a considerably huge area with huge parking lot. There are one ways of the parking lot that drivers must follow. Yes, must in order to maintain order and smooth flow of the traffics and cars should not park near the entrance of Metro Grocery Store even just to pick up someone because cars do block the flow of the traffic which most oftentimes extends to Lawrence Avenue which also blocks the flow of Lawrence Avenue westward traffic. The Plaza has Winner Store, and Metro Grocery Store next to each other. It also has Scotia Bank, TD Bank and CIBC. You can also find a Passport/Portrait Digital centre. Dry cleaner can also be found. There is a computer service centre for PC and Apple computers. And for those looking for hearing aids there can be found Hearing Solutions Centre. And there is Shoppers Drug Mart as well as Home Health Care centre. There is The Shoe Company nearby. Dollar Store is next to Home Health Care. You can also find stores for babies, kids, girls and boys such as Little Niblets Carter's Babies and Kids Store, Oshkosh B'Gosh for girl's stuff. There is Addition Elle for feminine clothing. That driveway to Winners and Metro is too narrow. Somebody who temporarily parks in front of the stores to let someone off or waits to pickup a passenger further narrows the driveway. They've put one-way signs for the parking access lanes, which is good but are not very visible. A no-left or no-right turn sign would further highlight those one-way lanes. Metro, why put pylons in front of the groceries loading parking spots? Drivers need to stop in the driving lanes, impeding traffic, to remove them for access to those spots. Removing the pylons would make it easier for clients who are shopping alone.
