If you're a rock hound, this is a must do experience while in and around Whitehorse. The proprietor has been collecting rocks for decades and has some remarkable pieces at "rock bottom" prices. Super knowledgeable, friendly and full of stories - you could spend hours here.

Fantastic rock and mineral shop just off the Carcross Cutoff. It's a real "gem" ;) of a find! Owner is extremely knowledgeable, has lots of excellent specimens from across Yukon and the NWT, in addition to specimens from around the world. Prices are very reasonable and there's items for everyone from those who just like sparkly things to the most picky of collectors.

Went to the Rock Shop on July 27th and the owner welcomed my wife and I into his shop and let us look around. He has an amazing collection of rocks from all over the world and are very reasonably priced. Its definitely a place to stop if your in the Yukon. Thanks for the wonderful experience Paul.
