Its ok. Went here instead of other theatre as was short on time after dinnee. Not too busy/no long line ups when we went but they need to change their advertising of "recliners"... The seats dont recline... They have "foot rests" on wide leather seats with cushion. Make sure u sit at the back cause your neck will hurt. If you try to slouch down to get comfy or snuggle up to person beside u the headrest in front of you will partually block view of bottom of screan as there isnt really much of Any incline in the flooring. Staff was fast and efficient and pleasant in their service tho.

They have about seven holes and they are different movies playing at a time so you have good choice it's in the mall and if you want to grab some snacks from outside you can do that and you can also get stuff inside the the cinema I like popcorn news and others edibles

Would frequent this theatre growing up. Smaller, but often shows the bigger films you’re looking to see. It’s well kept. Gotten especially nicer since they updated the seating to the black recliners. Much quieter than the theatre in the falls, so it’s nice to go for something to do on a random weekday. Tuesdays are awesome for the cheaper movie tickets as well!

Amazing place to take the kids to see a movie.... The only problem I have with the theatre is... For taller people the recliner chairs are actually uncomfortable.... If they reclined a bit more then it would make it so much better.... But they truly aren't recliners... There is enough room to allow them to recline more...

Cozy, small town cinema. Reclining seats are okay but don't actually "recline" the way you'd expect. The theaters themselves are small but quaint. Never overly busy. Looking forward to going this weekend to see the Lion King in 3D with the option of a nice cold beer! (yes, they sell beer now)

I have taken the kids to 3 movies since it opened from the covid restrictions. I always have a great time, but this time we went to see Paw Patrol at 7:10pm and the seats definitely were not cleaned. And I dont even mean sanitized. They were sticky and had popcorn on them. I used my sanitizer and a napkin to clean best I could. Other than that, movie was good.

This weekend my friends and I went to go see a movie at the Seaway cinemas. As we were about to enter the hallway to go to our theatre, I'm guessing it was the manager who assumed we brought food in from somewhere else. He thought that just because of our age. I even bought a pop from the cinema and my friends bought food and drinks. So if you're planning on going to the cinema without an adult I wouldn't recommend it. Also I believe that if the cinema wants people to buy there own food don't make it so expensive.

Only thing I didn't like that yes they are reclining seats but only the leg part reclines. Try sitting straight up and have legs straight in front of you. I felt kinda hunched over which hurt my neck and and belt jabbing in my stomach. Would be nice if the back reclined a bit. Also some chairs are broken already

For an older style theater it is good. A lot of the recliner seats are starting to break down. The two we sat in stopped working part way through the movie. I counted 2 others with out of order signs on them as we left as well. But hey it's Welland.

Great place to watch a movie and bring the kids. They have large recliner seats. Our kids bring their blankets and can fall asleep if they get too tired. Lots of room, and it does not cost extra. This location also serves alcohol. All seats require reservations ahead of time. Or at the venue if there are any left.

Went to see "Hunter Killer" and went to Welland from St. Catharines just because we wanted to try the recliner chairs! Well, after 2 hrs, my back was killing me! Maybe I'm too old for these things but, to me, they weren't all they were cracked up to be. The bonus was being able to kick your legs out but the chair backs don't go back far enough and I felt squished into my seat. PS: the movie was great!

Not my favourite theatre. They don't have outakes here so if you want Mac n cheese wedges, poutine, or any real food you'll be sadly dissapointed. Customer service is great but the theatres are lacking. They are recliner seats that barely recline and don't lift you feet up 90 degrees so it's uncomfortable. My lower back was hurting after a 2 1/2 hour movie.

The new "reclining" seats are bad: they barely recline. I have been at other Cineplex theatres and their seats really do recline. At the Welland theatre the seats LOOK like they could recline, but barely do. You seat at a position of 3:05 and upon reclining you end up at poison 3:00. What a waste of money this has been. Did anybody try the seats before they installed them? The seats are so uncomfortable I now have to drive to Cineplex Niagara Falls to watch a movie decently.

I understand that the concession stand prices are not even close to being reasonable that is where the theaters make the money they need to get the movies(can't refuse though 27 dollars for two pops, a popcorn and a bad of candy....ridiculous). Besides that the recliners do not recline far enough back so it feels like you are in between the spot that is completely upright and reclined to a comfortable position and it creates an uncomfortable viewing experience. The chairs are comfortable at first, but the half position of the recline and the footrests make it quickly become uncomfortable. The reclined position does not make for the best viewing angle of the screen. The commercials are unwanted-not many point out the fact that really we are paying to see commercials. The trailers which are great to see-upcoming movies-there were two of them, rather see more trailers and no commercials. The sound for the movie was okay-not to loud, not to soft. The movie went out of focus a few times-but only for a second or two and then came back in so it was not that noticeable. I don't go to see many movies in the theaters since for me and my daughter was a 50 dollar night for us-she said the movie was okay and enjoyed the trip there and back more. So guess this means more movies in the comfort of our own home we can pause and make our own healthy snacks for a fraction of the cost.

Really comfortable seats. I went to go see Ant-Man and the wasp with my friends and there were these kids who wouldn’t stop talking, I didn’t want to shush them because that would make a lot of noise. There was parents there and they didn’t say anything to keep the children quiet? Overall nice seats, you spend about $30 per person to see a movie so quiet expensive but I like it.

Seat selection screen is a little confusing, unfortunately last movie we saw felt a little clockwork orange effect when we accidentally selected second row from the front instead of second row from the back, but we'll check that up to human error.

I can get down with this Cineplex. I won't lie to you though; I usually go to Landmark at the Pen Center in St. Catharines - mostly because the Costco movie passes are a little bit better. That doesn't mean I don't mind making the trek out to the depths of the Seaway Mall if the movie times are better. Still a decent theater and the seats are a really good size. I'm pretty sure they even sell alcohol now and if you like living on the wild side and not pre-booking your seats they still haven't implemented it (unless it's a huge release).

The Seaway mall theatre has smaller screens all around compared to other theatres in Niagara. The prices for conssession is very reasonable, by theatre standards. The theatre overall is very clean but sometimes is slacking in certain theatres. I'd rate the Seaway 5.7/10 go see blockbusters elsewhere.

I hadn't been to these cinemas in a very long time. I was disappointed to see how small the screen was . The seating was not very good. The seats were very uncomfortable and the rows are not tiered very much, so it is difficult to see the screen, if someone is in front of you. I am used to the great theatres at the Pen with comfortable seats and tiered seating and much bigger screens. I would not go back.to Seaway Mall cinemas. Seaway Mall Cinemas need to be renovated for sure.

Went with our.grandson today to.see his very first movie the Paw Patrol movie. The theater was very clean and the staff was friendly however after spending $10 for him to.get the special.Paw Patrol popcorn snack box it was disappointing to.find out that only the box was Paw Patrol. Both the cup and the toy were from a cartoon 'horse' movie. It is the opening wknd of the movie so.the theater should have been adequately prepared with the proper merchandise to.go with the movie. He was disappointed as he was expecting something Paw Patrol with his overpriced popcorn. Not a good experience for his first trip to the movies.

Amazing small town theatre, reclining seats and not too busy. Love this little theater it has arcade games. Located in the mall at the back. Always go to their latest shows possible and always see security which is nice because it makes you feel safe. Parking for electric vehicles. The only reason they do not get 5 stars is because the selection of movies is not as big, so check what's playing before you go.

Cineplex, I use to spend here some of my evenings, it helped me to escape a daily stress. I’m not sure, but I think they used to have the Tuesday promotion, so you can buy a ticket with a discount. The reclining seats are very comfortable and are bigger than normal seating at other theaters. The problem here is that you are very low when watching the movie. I prefer to be higher up so you are viewing the middle of the screen straight on which is not an option here. The theatre needs a facelift as well. The seats may be new but pretty much everything else seems to be decades old.

Went here Tuesday that just passed for my first time. I will say I enjoyed watching the equalizer 2. Theatre is very small however they have reclining seats and wide rows which is awesome. Not many food options but it’s alright. 5 stars because I enjoyed myself without problem. Good customer service. I went again today. I took a photo of their reclining chairs. They’re big with a lot of leg room. Chairs look messy because I took photo after the movie but it’s always clean. Clean washrooms as well.
