Unfortunately, Warby Parker's quality has diminished over the years. The online buying experience is straight up terrible and slow (takes 1 month to ship a pair of glasses), and their system has plenty of errors. There's no way to simulate glasses anymore, and the home try on for Canadians is a joke. The experience here at the store itself was alright, nothing of stand out, so this review is more reflective of the business as a whole. If it wasn't for store experience actually, I'd definitely rate Warby a 1/5 now.
When i was in the store to order two pairs of glasses they were friendly and helpful. They said you will receive your order in two weeks. Unfortunately they didn’t let me know my order is coming from US and when I call them after three weeks they said we don’t know how long it takes and you have no option but to wait.
I bought a pair of frames from the Kitsilano location a month a go. I went in today to get an adjust and had an incredible experience. Nicola immediately sprang into action to fulfill my request, while Ricci and I contemplated the nuances of positive social interaction in todays society. The outcome was that my glasses now fit perfectly and my faith in humanity is restored. Thanks ladies you are the best!
I loved how these guys sold me on their glasses. I walked in and said hi, they asked me if I needed help. I told the lady there that I was just looking for some new frames and she just let me delve into the plentiful, simplistic frames that Warby Parker had to offer. They didn't breathe down my neck trying to get me to get a pair of their glasses. They let me breathe and didn't rush me into a certain style. The store is artsy and beautiful how it's laid out. Simple, colourful and brilliant. I'm definitely going to recommend this shop to everyone that needs lenses.
These guys understand top quality customer service. We went in looking for glasses and were greeted immediately, offered help, and then they stepped back and let us browse. It was nice to take your time and not feel pressured or rushed. When we went to ask about a specific pair for my boyf, the guy was so informative. Still we didn’t feel pressured to buy anything, and that’s exactly why we purchased here! We had gone to many of the other stores along 4th but we ultimately liked the service and price point here. Glasses were also ready much faster than they initially told us. Will def be recommending to our friends!
This was a brutal experience. I was ordering 2 pairs of glasses and right off the bat they got not just one, but BOTH frames wrong (they ordered 1 wide and 1 narrow instead of 2 regulars), so I had to go back in to correct that after receiving my order confirmation email. They fixed that issue and promised it would take about 5 or 6 days for the glasses to arrive in-store. Fine. I called to check on the status after about 8 days and they had allegedly arrived at customs. Okay...But then a few days later, still nothing. Then i went back in after 2 weeks and they had no idea where they were. The tracking wasn’t detailed enough. So now after more than 3 weeks I’m calling and requesting a refund because the glasses are totally MIA and nobody can tell me where they are...but I have to wait for a refund until they arrive in store?! That’s the whole issue! They are nowhere and nobody can give me a straight answer and WP has now had $900 of mine for a month and I can’t see anyyyythingggg! Terrible experience and I wont Be going back.
Same as others. Great experience at the store, but long waiting time due to delivery from the States. I would have appreciated if they told me upfront that it can take more than 2 weeks. I needed my glasses soon and I would have re-considered. Disappointed!
The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and patient while helping me pick new frames. Dr. Li was also wonderful during my eye exam.
Love the wide selection of frames that works well to fit my low nose bridge. Great staff who aren’t pushy and they are friendly and knowledgeable. Had a pleasant eye exam done by Dr. Li who’s is very meticulous and she made the experience fun.

Friendly staff and great prices. All the single vision lenses start at $150. With progressive & high index lenses, our total price can out to $525. Staff couldn’t tell me what kind of lenses I was getting. Only to say it’s their our house brand. With the ongoing pandemic, you will need to pick out the frame and try it on outside with your mask off. All the frames you try on will go into a tray for disinfecting. Then goes back onto the shelves.
Friends recommended Dr Lucia Li for my PRK post-op follow up exams. I bought my mom with me at my first follow up. I appreciated Dr Li explained the results with my mom in Cantonese. Without the language barrier my mom has a better understanding about my recovery. Dr Li was very professional and answered all our questions. Thank you!
My in-store experience on 4th ave was great. Super friendly and helpful team. They did not let me know the glasses were coming from the US though- I have been waiting since the beginning of November and they have still not arrived. (Jan 26th now). After a few calls to their customer service they re-ordered me a pair, and it's been close to 3 weeks now and they're still not in Canada and nobody can tell me when they will arrive. Just a heads up for Canadian shoppers! Their styles are awesome though!

I had an excellent experience with the folks at the West 4th location. Pleasant, helpful staff with great suggestions who also knew when I step back and let me look. After visiting multiple optical stores I decided to purchase a pair of single vision lenses because the frames were just what I was looking for and the price was more than right. Even with a high level prescription. The glasses I ordered arrived in under a week! Much faster than the two weeks the salespeople told me about. Perhaps it was a optical anomaly but I was absolutely delighted. The optician fitted me on the spot and I was out the door with a smile on my face. Definitely recommend this place.
Warby Parker's affordable and stylish glasses make me so happy. They also have a nice selection of glasses for people with low bridges. Previously, I used to dread buying glasses because of the expensive $400+ price tag but now I look forward to it! Warby's glasses are more than half the price of other retailers.

This place is simply the best. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. This is the gold standard of customer service. Mehrak, the person who helped me so many times before, helped me once again with fitment, expert frame selection and made me aware of a replacement program to leverage for my broken reading glasses. I would not shop anywhere else.

Everything about this place was great: good selection of frames, nice service and convenient location. Unfortunately, the quality of the product was a big disappointment. I have worn reading glasses for years from many companies and I am hard on them. After a few weeks the lenses looked like a coating was coming off. I returned them and got a free replacement. I asked for a more durable lens for which I offered to pay more. They didn't have anything. In a few more weeks the lenses were again hard to see through. I had already decided to replace them from another source when I lost the glasses. I'm not sure if they would have given me a refund. I went to Great Glasses where I got 3 pairs for $250 and so far the first pair is perfect after a couple of months. Give Warby Parker a miss. All style no substance.
I have a low nose bridge. It is difficult to find a frame that fits me well. I found most of my frames slided down my nose and scratched my cheeks. I’m happy to find Warby Parker has a variety of low bridge fit frames. Their frames are clean and simple. I got a black one with wide width. It takes about two weeks to arrive. It fits perfectly. I also had my eye exam there with Dr Li. She was friendly and helpful. I’m happy with the overall experience. Highly recommended
I had a fantastic experience with my eye exam. The optometrist was very professional and attentive and made me feel at ease throughout the exam. She was friendly and patient providing me with useful advice on how to better look after my eyes which was above and beyond my expectation for a regular eye exam. She was also very helpful referring me to a specialist to address my concerns.
In-store experience was great. Friendly and helfpul reps. Getting the glasses - a whole other story. They are almost three weeks late getting to me, I have spoken to their customer service team twice (because they did not let me know they would be late and the first time, did not have an idea of when they would arrive) and the courier did not contact me when they arrived (which still puts them at three weeks late), so they are now sitting at a delivery depot. Tried to get some sort of resolution - they told me I either pick them up at the delivery depot or wait 14-17 days for them to ship me a new pair, which makes no sense. Will not deal with this company again. A great service experience needs to consider the whole process - not just the in-store experience.
Got glasses and filled prescription. All good. But they kept sending me glasses every week. Glasses I didn't even look at. I only check my mail about once a month so I didn't want to be hit with a big bill for something I didn't order. Still trying to get them to stop!
Very welcoming store. M partner bought his glasses from there and was very happy with their service. I went back yesterday because I lost a tiny screw on one of my glasses. Nicola very kindly replaced it in no time. She was quick, friendly and very efficient. Will go back there for my next prescription. Dog friendly store as well.

I'm completely disappointed in the lack of sustainability at Warby Parker. I LOVE the new frames I bought from WP one year ago, and simply want to update the lenses. But I can't! Instead I would have to buy a *new pair* and they'll give a small discount. What a waste! WP - do better, stop making so much needless waste.
I was hesitant to order prescription glasses from here after reading review of bad shipping/tracking details but I went in and had a great experience with Kathleen who did a superb job of helping me pick the right frame, getting measured by the optician, while training her new staff! I just got the email to pick up the glasses 4 days after ordering. Excited to go in and pick them up!
