We have the information of real people like you who consumed the products and services of Festival Marketplace Shopping Centre (Mall) in the territory of Stratford (Canada).
Currently this firm gets a score of 3.7 over 5 and the rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is quite good, and it's based on a high number of scores, so we can conclude that the valuation is very accurate. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to give tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Mall corresponds to the category of Shopping mall.
This shopping center supports animal exploitation & abuse. They are taking advantage of innocent rabbits to be mishandled by babies just to make a quick buck during a photo shoot. Once people started to voice their concerns for the well-being of the animals, instead of canceling the event and apologizing they are choosing to harass and stock those who are speaking out. Unprofessional and irresponsible behavior all around.
No hassel with not being able to wear a mask!
Great selection of stores and easy access parking.
Great shopping center.
It's a strange place that has changed so much over the years. Anchored by Canadian Tire at one end, it lost when Sears closed, but it gained an LCBO. Stores come and go. There seems to always be vacancies and I can't recall the last time I saw it busy by London or Kitchener standards which is surprising given the area it covers. The outside entrances to some stores may be a hindrance. Not a lot of variety or unique stores have lasted. The food court selection is sad so there is little reason to linger.
It's like any other shopping mall to be honest. Well maintained.
Better than it looks from the outside, almost like a mall, but still too small to be a mall. Nice for a quick visit
Great place to shop!
Need more stores, like that we now have a liquor store!
The new fabricland is behind the mall, no signs and Google takes you to the mall! After walking the mall for ten minutes then asking someone, back to the car to drive to the other side since there is no mall access!
Lots of selection of stores. Lots of parking.
Was good quiet place
They allowed a photographer to shoot there while using live animals as props, which is disgusting. I definitely refuse to ever shop here.
New stores are going in finally, we needed them. Deals all through the mall, good time to go shopping.
Management should feel ashamed of themselves for allowing a photographer on their premises that uses live rabbits as props to turn a profit than only to getting rid of them when they are no longer needed.. What disgusts me the most about this mall is they'd rather protect their name by covering the rabbits with a tarp and telling all those that complained about the issue that it has been fixed and they will not be letting this individual continue.. only to allow them to continue doing so the next day (seriously?) The mall itself replied stating they understand the issue at hand though they're still going to honour all of the photoshoots scheduled days in advance because they don't want to upset the children.. oh I'm sorry.. you'd rather continue allowing someone to hurt and abuse animals because you don't want to make a couple children sad at something that shouldn't have been set up in the first place... get it together. honestly, this is revolting!! - This mall needs to be investigated if they think that this is right.
Busy though the drive thru in store not to bad
No lobby at all. Since when is that ? What can't afford the people that are already there to open the doors so people with out cars can still be served. Or if so need be let people walk to the drive thru.
My go to Tim Hortons in Stratford. There are three here but his is the only one with two drive thru order panels and, what appears to be, a larger staff to work on orders. They have a really good dark roast here for some reason too.
Never knew there was such a big shopping complex in Stratford.
Nice do see people following safety protocols
Most shops are overprice. And pretty small selections. Better off it take the drive to Kitchener or London
Needs a few more popular stores but otherwise it's a good place to shop!
Good small for a small town like Stratford. Has many different kinds of stores and food shops. Right next to Canadian tire to make it better!
It's Good!
Always quick and friendly staff
Loved the new Chinese food place, great flavor great prices.
Good experience but lack of shops to shop around.
Wonderful variety of shops located inside. Also located in an ideal spot for traffic and parking is free. If you have a day of just wanting to just take a walk through it is an amazing spot. So quiet and everyone is generally friendly and nice to chat with.
You cannot deny people who are medically exempt from wearing a mask. I strongly suggest you read the bylaws very carefully because you can be taken to the Human Rights Tribunal for discrimination. Never coming back here again.
They have some neat stores at this mall. It's clean and bright. Good place to shop.
Good mall.
Great place for a group to get out of the rain. Has an indoor gazebo for seating with done interesting shops
Stratford's mall has a little bit of everything for a decent shopping experience. They have recently started getting a few new stores Dollarama, and more recently La Vie en Rose. However, we did lose the Fido booth, Sears, Payless and Green Earth. There is many available store fronts that would be great for other companies to come to stratford.
It is small enough to being manageable but has a good selection of known brand stores so you can get what you need.
Hope something happens to make this place more lively in the future, it's always so bland
A food place for Christmas shopping but pretty empty and not alot of options
It is our only shopping mall. Would love more stores though.
I would absolutely NOT support this business or any business within this mall - they are using live rabbits and chicks and causing them massive distress - not the childrens' fault - but despite promising to discontinue, the Mall continues to allow the abuse of these animals. Rabbits are intelligent, nervous, affectionate and wonderful animals that should NOT be subjected to this kind of abuse. Buy chocolate bunnies, not real ones - they are a 10-15 year commitment and they deserve to be treated with respect.
Shopping, for an older crowd. You won't find inspiring, hot fashions here. But what you WILL find are good quality products at competitive prices. Bathrooms clean, food court needs serious work.
Always love shopping here. Friendly atmosphere
Stores A & W …
Good mall. Nice selection
For a smaller township, this mall does have a decent amount of stores and a good selection. The food court is minimal however and ones not have a selection to choose from.
As expected.
Royal Wok is an awesome place to get take out or dine in at the food court
Went to the Hart store. Had tons of great deals, wasn't super crowded, and the staff were great.
Great lul mall with lots of selection
Surprisingly a lot in the mall, small but good selection
Not very clean but what do you expect ?
So much to find in the Festival Mall. Lots of different new shops that I have not been in before. All the sales are on now so the mall is full all the time with shoppers buying for. CHRISTMAS. I found what I wanted so I was happy. Shoe store, Winners I love when they get their new shipments in and I was back there this weekend to the Bell store to get our daughter a phone . They had a good deal on so I was a happy shopper again. Thanx Festival Mall.
When the A team is on this place is awesome, when they aren't expect four times the wait.
This is a very pleasant clean and Appling mall with Sears Canadian Tire Winners food court sport check Dollarama around 40 stores including Blue notes and Green Earth
During the pandemic they've done the best they can under the circumstances. Glad to see it back open
Mediocre mall nothing really special here, it was an ok shopping experience. If you want to go to a good mall go to maisonville in London.
Nice and not overly busy for the most part
Good plaza for quick shopping visits. Has a variety of stores
Curb side pick up due to Covid
While this is not a large mall it has many of the popular stores such as Winners, an LCBO etc.
A great place to shop meat new and old friends while getting some exercise walking throuhg all of the great business in the mall
Could use some different store but all and all good.
all the cool gadget to get
Nice little mall that has lots of childhood memories for me.
Love Timmy's americano :)
I didn't like that the ladies were rather tired and rude and one even told me to grab my stuff and imagine how she tossed it away as if it was something I was going throw away. I got home had the breakfast meal and it was food poisoning the whole day. I ended up having to take medications because something was not done right. If your staff are tired they should take a rest because they dealing with public. They should be nice to everyone who walks through that door; I mean black, white or any other color. No one should be treated differently. I gave you a zero if it had one on it!!!!
Good selection of merchandise for the shopper looking to fill those desired items for any occasion
Went to the mall to visit the new store, Hart. It's got some cool stuff in it. Then I grabbed lunch from the A&W and the staff there were very nice. I don't go to this mall often unless I need something specific.
Good. Fast.
It doesn't have a huge variety of stores, so don't expect to be in there for hours. But it's what Stratford has to offer for shopping experience besides from the downtown area. Lots of places to eat in the surrounding area.
Worst. This place needs an overhaul. The decor is beyond tired and the amount of stores that are closed is pathetic. The “food court” is laughable and the creepy dudes that sit all day and stare at the workers in the stores should be banned from the mall. Either redo it or get rid of it. There should be an access from the mall to the liquor store and the only anchor stores that are there have a revolving door of staff. Seems like it just needs to go.
Crowed but they always have what I need when I need it. Staff are always friendly everytime I visit.
Nice little mall in Stratford! The Winners here is pretty large and is always well stocked. Also the Bath and Body Works is usually not as busy as other malls in the area.
Great little mall
After expressing to the manager concerns about recent events and using animals as props for photography. I and many other concerned animal lovers were reassured on a personal and business level that they did not support or encourage these happenings. They have worked kindly with the photographer to come to an agreement that works for everyone in favour of the animals. Within 48 hours they took the time to hear the concerns and were able to reach out and solve this issue. Thank you for not contributing to the mistreatment of these animals, and being respectful while doing so. I hope I’m doing so, people enjoy the mall as a safe place to shop and experience holiday activities.
Simple n great place
Safe time and go to a bigger city...or shop in the downtown core where the store are more trendy
Stopped to get fish food, and went to Mark's to get hiking shoes. Good deals today and quick service.
Really nice place to shop. Lots of deals and there are two very nice places to eat in the Canadian Tire parking lot. The food court is not the best tasting or all that clean but is quite cheap.
A good variety of stores but would love to see a few more choices in the food court
Mall sucks. Need more stores or bull doze it down an rebuild individual stores bring more variety
Potato salad
Nice Mall. Some great shops
Great place to go shopping for many different things. Brand name stores and a few fast food restaurants plus a good sitting area. Washrooms are mostly kept clean and environment is warming.
Good place to shop but more store options would be nice.
Nk one serves tripple tripple
Would be wise of the mall owner to lower rent prices, far too many empty spaces in the mall. Need to make it more attractive for merchants to open shop there. There are some deals to be found in this mall however, despite its size. The food court consists of two choices: A&W and a pizza place I've heard good things about. Just two. So if you don't like either, you're out of luck.
Really clean needs better mall staff and manger thow....
We love this mall in Stratford and it does get busy this time of year. The bookstore is where I can spend a long time at and other stores there as well
Had a great time wandering around this mall... plenty to see ... just no stores that sell tobacco products ... Curious how one of the biggest tax grabs in Canada can be overlooked...
I don't really go to the mall that often, but I do like our little mall and all that it has to offer. I just wish though that all the stores in the mall could open up at the same time. I don't really understand why some open up earlier and some open up later. I think every store at the mall should open up at the same time.
Nice Place
Is this for the Tim's or the mall?
Not a big place but a good place seems to have everything you would need or want
Hi Keen eyeglasses in the mall very nice people you can get your glasses for pretty much what you want to pay just ask for all the specials and bonuses and discont cards she even gave me a $50 off card while I was standing there to pay I got two pairs of glasses$214 I got two cases ,2 clothes but only one bottle of cleaner and I had to pick them up at separate times one pair was up in before the other and you have to pay for both pairs when you've only received one so far had to go back for second. They told me to come back and get my cleaner I've been back twice since in a month and they haven't had any cleaner in yet I would really like my other bottle of cleaner glasses are expensive.
I have been to the Stratford festival marketplace mall many times. I been having a liking for this lovely little place that needs space there lots more great shop's i know will like for the City. Boaster juice is not there, its sad like that store. Needs more popular services of food, agriculture and places.
Staff in Michael's very friendly and knowledgeable!
Great service
Good selection of stores, but sad to see some not thriving.
No stores open no food court and because of covid no place to sit and the mall attendant sat at the door with his mask around his chin on wednesday at 5 pm...go figure.
Good variety of shops. Includes a LCBO, Canadian Tire, Bath and Body Works and Dollarama to name a few!
A small shopping center, granted, but it has most immediate desires on hand. It'd be five stars but the hours they keep, especially on the weekend, don't really fit my busy schedule.
Love the staff and for a local mall there is a good variety of stores.
Always a great experience, easily accessible stores and parking lot!
Pleasantly surprised that it was there. Just needs more selection of crafts & such...the breads & meat etc looked great
Pretty good selection of stores for a small city.
No good stores here...will shop out of town where they have better stores
Very clean and some nice stores to shop
Decided to check this Mall out .. very pleased with the range of stores (that I like) to shop in! Access is easy and even connects to the Canadian Tire store .. great place for the whole family to shop!
Always appreciate convenience of Tim Hortons stores in any city!!!
Its a small town mall, you can find almost anything you need there but i prefer to drive to kitchener or London for a better shopping experience.
Due to covid 19, things are different, but I do feel like they have ppe in order and feel safe shopping there.
This is a mall that should have been torn down a long time ago or they should offer incentives to bring more stores into the mall. They got a winners. I guess that's pretty good.......
Found what we needed
I'll wish friendly people when I pull off the highway they got my temporary baby
Good coffee ☕.
Lots of choices and easy to navigate through the mall. It is great for a small town and would recommend to check it out!
They NEVER offer up a sleeve for my XL black coffee's that are downright dangerous and if you want your bagel even lightly toasted you need to ask for it to be double toasted.
No did not hate this place. I work part time in this mall.
Beautiful house and nice owners.
More and more stores in this shopping center are closing and staying empty. Wonder what the problem is. Probably rents that are too high so a few rich people can live the great live. Shame on them!
ruffins makes the mall decent
The bells store needs to teach there employees boundaries I asked for a screen protector not for you to go threw my phone when I told you the model
It's alright. A couple of stores gone. Sear the main one. And the food court sad. Not a lot there. Even Timmie's is gone. I think the rent for them are too high. That's why I go to kitchener for shopping
Happy now that Fabricland is at the mall ! Wish there was some good eats besides A & W.
Did not like the food served at A and W in the food court. Very disappointed: the food was cold and greasy. Did take it back to the young man at the counter he argued it was just fresh made. Asked to speak to the person in charge. He stated he was. He refused to change it for hot food. ( the food was not consumed) Customers BEWARE
If you are looking for a good Arabic place I suggest you to visit this!
Doesnt have alot of stores anymore very slow
Animal cruelty and abuse is seen here in the mall. The mall allows photography studio that uses pet rabbits as props where rabbits are being tossed and thrown. Rabbits are live animals, please do not be a heartless human being and support this kind of business. The rabbits are being treated poorly while the studio and mall is profiting from them.
Clean and well presented mall with most stores occupied will cover most of your needs. Only draw back is the below average food court
Came for a 'first Santa' visit. Small wait, comfortable experience. It was a REAL Santa which was perfect for a first time!! Thank you!
Better at makeing coffee then the one going out to st marys
Less a mall than a walkway. Very few stores worth seeing. If you need a cell phone or jewelry this is your place
Was at Mark's work wearhouse, staff was exceptional, selection was terrific, prices were very reasonable
Very pleasant place to shop
Doesn't have a decent restaurant. Winners is the worst Winners I have ever been in - all the lowest end stock - No designer goods, unlike the Winners in Toronto - not worth going to look- it's like a Goodwill. Winners is overlooking the tourists who would buy !!! and higher end shoppers who continue to shop in Toronto (great winners at lawrence and bathurst, eglinton & yonge, downtown)
Food court is dead with little in the way of healthy options. Several booths unoccupied. Many stores don't stay open long in this mall as there is limited traffic outside of the Christmas shopping season.
Not a great mall like the ones in London ON, but there's a decent selection of stores. However with the cost store owners have to pay in rent every month being grosly over priced, many stores can't afford to stay open, meet their turnover rate, and keep items at a reasonable price, all at the same time. This also applies to the food court, which in my opinion, is pretty pathetic.
Small and some empty shops but it has a variety decent for its size.
Found some great deals at Winners and Maurice's
Great small mall where you can get your basic needs
