Not really much to shop here. A series of phone providers, a jewelry store, a book store, a few clothing vendors and an art market. The Tim Hortons that must have the most reduced hours of any in Canada and is usually has one person working. This “mall” is sort of a sad summary of the retail experiences that can experienced in Amherst. Of course, finding the hidden gems is all the more exciting.

Town Square is starting to become a good one stop place. Shur-gain is great, they are knowledgeable and helpful with practically anything when it comes to anything in the store. Dollarama is decent, they are getting more and more useful stuff in. Now Hart, wow I'm glad they opened shop, always something new, prices are reasonable, sizes for shoes are odd but they have signs to help, the workers are very helpful in that regard too, plus it sometimes smells like subway, which smells awesome.

A really lovely area in downtown Amherst. The historic buildings, the picturesque Street, and small town charm make Amherst a wonderful place to live or visit.

It's unfortunate. Half the stores in the mall are empty. It begs to question if the property leasing is too high for people to lease/afford? Amherst is a small town....but isnt really small enough to merritt the inadequate amount of stores in the area.

Got gas there at Shell and visited Irving. Irving have the cleanest public washrooms in Canada and America. The only public places to go during COVID-19. When you take water pills and must go out it is a Blessing. I thank them with all my heart when traveling. She'll have my air miles program which has allowed me to travel over the years free. Also to pay bills at sponsors. Two of the best and safest places to stop when traveling. Since then we can't travel. If I survive I will go again. We have a cottage near there but can't go yet this year now due to covid.

This Dollarama at least had bag's available for me to get my purchases to my vehicle unlike the Truro location. I also wasn't verbally accosted by an employee like I was in the Truro location. Very unprofessional.
