Here you will be able to see all the opinions of people who use the products and services of Woodside Square (Mall) in the territory close to Scarborough (Canada).
At the present the firm gets a rating of 3.8 stars out of 5 and this score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can see it reaches an feddbacks average is high, and it's founded on a very large number of scores, so we can be quite sure that the valuation is very accurate. If people have bothered to give their opinion when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Mall is classified in the category of Shopping mall.
Busy Mall all the time, lots of variety of stores , Macdonalds, Shoppers Drug Mart , Congee town , Osaka Sushi, etc ⭐⭐
Woodside Square is a nice place to hang with friends and family it is a very nice place my only concerns are the bathrooms, they smell very bad. Woodside also has a lot of sketchy people that go there.
Lots of shops like bakeries, fast food restaurants, Shoppers Drug mart, Food Basics, Public Library etc. It looks amazing after the renovations ????
great mall to buy stuff at. a store near the food court has lots of cool Naruto toys. bought a Sasuke and a Kakashi figure from that store. there is also a really cool dollar store that has lots of Chinese items. there are also 2 indoor playgrounds, Jungle Adventure and Jumping Castle for kids to play at.
This place us great for getting little thing u wouldn't see in regular shops..I love to brouse and will certainly visit again. Lots of parking..
Nice place to eat and shop. Got wedding dress there, many selections and people would go extra mile with suggestions to make it affordable and feet your needs(religious).
This mall has been changing alot, Base on the way to be..and it's still changing..because of that..we have to wait until the outcome.. As of now; It has everything you may need, Supermarket, Restaurants, fast food stores, banks, drug stores, clothing stores, kids playground library etc.. The whole thing..
We go there for jungle adventure for the kids
Decent variety of stores. A place to go when you need something but not somewhere high on the list if your wanting to do something cool.
Very nice store. Lot of shopping store... Bank... Food court... Parking limited (renovation)
I like the food its kinda dirty. It gets runover by cars every few years so be careful. No free WiFi so use the library or the banks. The poutine is good and it's close to the highschool. You might get shot after 6 pm so beware.
Small mall but good for near by people to shop
It's a great mall to shop lots of low budget clothing stores bags and many more bargains to have, food wise I don't know
Nice mall
It's a great little mall but you need to update your hours of operation you do not open at 10 o'clock you open at 11 due to covid Closes at 7:00 p.m. not 9.
Nice diversity community and environment filled with great people . Great treatment from shop reps and owners. Congee there has great food and many more food outlet .
This mall is simply amazing! I have been to Pizza Pizza, McDonald's, Chatr Mobile, Dollarama and to some other clothing stores. I have been there several times with my mother. I love the clothing store here. They put dresses in discount …
I've decided to give this mall 1 star after living in this area over 10 years and haven't seen much change. This mall is due for a MULTI CULTURE MAKEOVER ASAP. This mall should take into consideration that there are many different cultures residing in and around this area and seems to only supply a market for just one culture. This is very unfortunate and I hope the owners of Woodside Square mall decides to make the necessary changes to accommodate EVERYONE.
I liked the Jungle Adventure Indoor Playhouse for children. It is really worth taking your kids here. Recently the mall is being furnished with some very comfortable sofas. Ample of space to sit and relax. Also, don't miss out on the South Indian Restaurant, Sarvana Bhawa, they serve good and affordable buffet.
Their is a great Dollarama their in addition to a public library and a private mailing box. It's not the closest mall to where I live but it's always worth the travel.
Some construction, but all lots are easily accessible.
Nice to have the Food Basics opens at 8:00 am.
Very nostalgic. The shops here have been here forever. Not much has changed in the last 30 years. They renovated the tiles once, but the mall is the same. It's got a bit of everything: a bakery, a dollar store, lots if apparel shops.
Good place. Sometimes i cant seat down becouse the people are already seat at the exits. The chinese or asian security guard is nice and helpful. The dollarama always full and the clercs are always working thats not good i think they are need some relax time...the freedom mobile, shame yourself freedom mobile, i cat puy my bill there so i need to go faar to puy the mothly bill. Not so best company...only one very small washroom for one person, this is not a smart thing from the owners.
I Can Rightly Say, "Wash Your Worries Away "! The best Washroom in the Nebouring Malls. Bridlewood Mall Management Should Have a Look.!
Simple mall. Nice and clean. They need to add some special stores in here to spice it up a little.
The mall is undergoing a major renovation and refresh as the place looked like it was stuck in the 80's. The renovation and some new tenants are almost complete and the place looks a whole lot more modern and welcoming. Once all the new food tenants are in place in 2020 this mall should be a great place to hang out.
I have 3 orders that was taken all together but when we reached DT they gave the first 2 orders then made us drive around to come back for the 3rd order. I see the food in front of the til but they did not want to give it along with the first 2 orders. Food is fresh so high five to their kitchen team and fry person.
Not a great shopping center. Always crowded. Seats in the food court are always full, you will never get a seat. Washrooms are very small and not very clean. Parking is huge and if you are ready to walk little bit you will get parking little bit farther from the mall entrances. So many useful shops are inside and timings are same as any other shopping centers.
It's a good little mall but why did I have to see this Saturday September 12th outside KFC Not a good LOOK
Great mall very clean. I didn't see security much though...
For what it is, a strip mall, without big names, it's pretty good. I usually run in here to get banking done, some basic groceries as well as an LCBO stop too.
Smaller but very busy little mall. Keep your eyes peeled while driving in the parking lot because too many so called professional drivers running around without paying any attention
I mainly go here just for Food basics and Dollarama, but there are some unique, local stores in this mall. There’s a medium sitting area at the centre of the mall if you want to grab a bite or just relax.
This mall has a lot of great deals. They are surrounded by restaurants which is very convenient for anyone to sit down and grab a bite after shopping around.
Pretty good strip mall, some decent stores it's just the randoms inside that kind of turn you away. Cant complain they need a place to go to.
All the necessities are available and a spacious place to maintain social distancing.
Good place if you want to get stuff cheap. Really I found some stuff costed me 50$ but found them for 15$ here but in the other side they have keep there washroom clean I don't know it's was horrible ...
Find all in here: Bank, shops, McDonald's Popeye's, Le Chateau, delicious Congee Town Chinese restaurant, sport shops, Foid Basics supermarket, post office, lottery store and even wedding boutique.
Not enough attractive stores..but very convenience to get too ..had a supermarket..n a big Chinese restaurant there..food court did not have too many choice..the mall I terror design is too simple n plain
Asian Carnival-Starry Night-CHACHACHA!
Neighborhood mall with an interesting selection of asian style stores. Chinese bakery and asian houseware store that sells all sorts of stuff, like tiny washing machines, and appliances, as well as hardware and cosmetics. It has way too many cellular service stores.
Was decent but there closed down now so don't waste ur time
The pharmacist in Shopper's drug Mart has terrible service. Asking them where to buy an item they treat you like a beggar.
It’s good for daily needs. Nothing very fancy . It’s a quite small mall. Early during the day it’s packed with seniors and around afternoon you see a lot of high school students.
They assisted me very nicely for my perfume shopping. Good customer service.
Currently closed, you can't get in through the entrances but the outside facing stores and restaurants are open per restrictions such as take out only.
Wanted a regular shopping experience? Here it is. Has the stuff you need to get for your daily life without getting you angry but also not excited. Always wanted to just get stuff done. Come here!
Not so nice to be around. Those merchants who own certain businesses are very stuck up. Not a very good service in most of the stores. I can't say for all the stores but for most of stores the sales ppl aren't very friendly either. Their tone is very arrogant.
Very nice and simple mall with some good shops and Jungle adventure indoor playground has also increased its value ... Nice shoes and ladies clothes can be purchased at good prices. Good hair cut salons available too.
It's a well kept mall, with a variety of stores. They have pretty much every cellphone carrier except the big 3. Food court has a variety to choose from, and they have a bakery that sells buns that are great.
It's not an outstanding mall by any means but it gets the job done. A good place for the local community to grab just about anything, or a spot for people to meet up.
Family oriented suburban mall with 150 retailers within 15 minutes drive to Pearson international airport and many major highways close by and directly across the street from casino woodbine . Anchored by woodbine fantacy fair with multiple kids rides and playgrounds . Big food court and complimentary washrooms and parking .
Mall getting better after some renovations. New location of Dessert Kitchen is very good and a must visit!
The mall gives me a much better impression than before. It's cleaner and brighter. The food court should be improved.
Under ongoing renovation. New floor tiles. Washrooms are brand new and clean. Quite an improvement. Mall is open during renovations. This mall has been around for 20 years. There is a public library and a Shopper's Drug as well as LCBO.
They have a decent amount of valuable stores here. I find that this mall is definitely becoming a more chinese oriented mall because most stores there are mostly Chinese businesses. In all fairness I think it's like a mini Pacific mall which is neither a good or bad thing in my opinion. You can find a lot of cool things in these stores and it also has a SVP for popular and legit sports discount items. Also it has a good selection of restuarants located all around the mall. It's worth checking out.
Good place to watch Tamil, Hindi, and other Indian movies, But the screens are so dahm small. I wish they would bring bigger screens like Cineplex.
Get everything over here staff is very polite and Helpful
This is my favorite mall. I can find everything here I need as such my number one McDonalds, TD bank, RBC bank, Food Basics, resturants and so many other stores.
Great shopping location....just cleanliness not up to par and with floor damage that is fairly unsightly. Why they put these types of ceramic floors I to the ball I'll never understand as other malls went through the same problems of chipping and cracking in the past.
Clean mall with basic necessities. Quite spacious.
Renovations look great! Would’ve given 5 star if the plants in the food court were real instead of fake.
Good location in Scarborough, many bargain stores.
Food choices aren't bad. You can dine in, take out, get some nice dessert. There's even a library. Not my fave for buying clothes.
My neighborhood shopping mall. Decent variety of shops though could be larger.
Just a small kind if plain.simple no fancy or modern design but do have a big Chinese restaurant for dim sum n dinner
The mall is good but it is open only till 6.00 PM. I have never felt something more useless than this mall on weekend. I go to watch a evening show at Woodside Cinemas and by the time movie is over the mall inside is closed. Some outlets stay open but it seems futile to roam out during the winter.
????
Decent selection of stores both name-brand and local. Also includes a Bollywood movie theater, indoor playground and SVP (Si Vous Play) Sports clothing store. Recommended to anyone that can't make the trek to Pacific Mall in Markham or visit Albion Cinemas (for Bollywood movies) in Etobicoke.
Its a nice cool place to hang out and nice food too.
They recently underwent renovations in the food court area making it look more clean and modern, and they have some new food stalls opening. Other than that there's not much at Woodside, it's mainly the Food Basics, library, Tim Hortons, Indian food, and some other small shops.
I used to go here all the time but then I moved houses. The bubble tea shop has some good bubble tea and there is a store called Red Maple (?) or Maple Red but they have some cool things that wouldn't cost as much as it would at other stores. They make good presents and decoration. There's also a bakery that sells 6 buns for $6 and it tastes soo good. I would like to go to that bakery more often but I don't live as close too Woodside Square anymore :(
Nice little goodies inside this mall. Gift shops, and cute housewares, bubble tea, and Si Vous Play shoes store, Timmy's, Food court, RBC bank, Shoppers, Dollarama, public library (entrance closing during covid), Food Basics, Pozza Pizza, Popeyes clothes stores, restaurants and cute asian stores???????? etc
idk how im supposed to rate an entire mall but ok
I’ve been to this place a couple of times but only for Bollywood movies. We live in Scarborough and this is our go to place for all the latest Hindi movies. The tickets are cheaper than cineplex and the theatre is good too. I’ve had their samosas and they’re pretty good as well. They allow you to choose the seats when you buy the tickets, which reminds me of back home because this is exactly how it works there. Check it out if you’re a Bollywood buff and are in Scarborough! (4 instead of 5 just because the rest of the mall seems pretty dead to me)
Saw movie there, they sure have improved a lot!! Great sound system & very comfortable seats.
Mall looks great after the renovation. But it's going on so can't wait til it's all finished.
Very crowded plus half of the mall's parking is under construction for over a year, makes it hard to get to the stores you need.
As I was walking from end to other end the security guard got hold of me, and threw me out of the mall, I was really impressed of their attitude, may Chinese or Philippino very ruthless I've never seen such a disgusting in my life, no fault of mine just walking in mall from one end to other.
Seems to be under construction now, but still accessible. Some stores were rotated. It has a good variety of stores inside. Anything from groceries, fast food, Chinese restaurant, and clothing. Easy to find parking spot.
Great mall and the library here is great too...
Very clean looking now with their renovations. New stores are also working to the general public though I'm sad EB Games is gone.
Good location having bank, tim and cheap retail stores.
Best spot to get good food in the city. Definately a staple of the community
Decent Mall. Not as good as it used to be.
unassuming plaza-style mall with affordable boutiques, a dollarama, and a yummy asian bakery where the buns are always fresh. a lot of boomers enjoy the quiet-browsing pace here, where you won't find flashy gimmicks. they recently upgraded the library and created a very small play place nearby for children (with seating area offering bubbletea for the parents) which is nice.
Library was closed together with some of the stores. The only place I like is SVP, they have affordable shoes and sports wear.
The mall is a small quite mall with enough things around. Currently they're renovating some areas which hopefully after makes the mall more vibrant. Other than that decent mall but not much to really shop for when it comes to major clothing stores.
A very old facility which has a surprising number of businesses and services which can allow you to one stop shop. This includes a major pharmacy, multiple major banks, restaurants, a banquet facility, a liquor store, multiple convenience stores, a grocery store, and plenty of other interesting boutique locations. There are pretty decent fast food options at this location as well. It is busy during Monday to Friday during the day, as it is in close proximity to two large high schools.
It's a dated local mall, but has the essentials and few empty units. The management puts on little shows and events for the kids, which brings the community together.
You get your everyday necessities fulfilled. Grocery, Drug Store, restaurant (Chinese and non Chinese), fast food (Tims, McD's) and 3 different Bank branches. Not top end nor new shopping mall, but fulfill your daily needs.
Always a pleasure shopping here. Staff are courteous and helpful. Always seem to have what I need too.
I go this place all the time for my haircuts. The hair saloons are pretty nice.
You would be able to survive if this was the only place that you could shop. It has all the basics and some decent ethnic food options. The restrooms are dirty and hard to find. it is very busy around 11 and 3 as there is a high school across the street.
We go here to Woodside Cinemas to watch Indian movies. The mall has some Chinese stores, eat outs like Saravana Bhavan, Wild Wings sports bar etc. It's fairly a small mall, you can cover it couple of hours.
McDonald's hire older managers that care! Watched your lazy young manager shuffle around leaving people's orders sit to get cold. No manners or caring about the quality of service given? Lacking personality, just putting in time #newmanager
An nice little mall. Has a decent food basics and LCBO. I enjoy the theatre there where you can catch foreign films.
Awesome mall. I like the library and McDonald's. Many of my friends come here to eat lunch and hang out.
Dessert Kitchen is my favorite spot. Not too crowded.
I love woodside square mall. When I first time went there, it was different to me because I came from Sri Lanka. It has many shops such as Dollarama, Tim hortons, food basics, theater, Pizza Pizza and many more others stores. I go at evening to just relax and meet new people. It's a enjoying and time passing place.
Good mall. Has the local mom and pops shops and the stores that you need like Dollarama, Shoppers Drug Mart, Menchies. There's a library there as well.
It's a serviceable neighborhood mall, but make sure you get what you pay for, and keep receipts! Have wished for some time the movie theater located there upped its service to show a majority of big picture movies in English. Maybe have rotations dependent on day of the week: Monday Bollywood, Tuesday Korean Drama, Wed Live Action Hollywood, Thurs Kids Night Animation..? I dunno.
Nice mall. Got a bit of everything, a little mall that will satisfy all tastes. Shoppers, library, dollarama, timmys, subway, kfc, food basics, banks, wireless, walk-in clinic (grumpy doctor; you've been warned), dentist..
Woodside square has been a staple in the Scarborough landscape for so many years and while it's gone through many changes, it's always been a good place for the library, a food court and random discount shops and cell phone booths. The Chinese banquet hall has changed ownership over the years but its always been there in one form or another. As long as you aren't expecting high end stores or anything this isn't a bad little mall.
For a one story shopping center, it is fairly diverse. However, it does miss out on the high end retail stores and major retail box stores like Wal-Mart. There is a second floor in the mall, but it is just a small part of the mall that hosts offices and a dentist.
Not a lot of stores but has an indoor playground my son likes. My gusbamd can watch him while I do my hair and nails.
It's close to home and convenient. I have nothing bad to say about it.
Really convenient place for neighborhood
This plaza has been around for 40 years now and hosted a variety of small shops and food places inside. there is a general food court with some options, a food basics, some outlet stores and mixture of chinese and indian themed stores. this plaza is the go to place for the local highschool beside the Plaza for many years (including myself years ago) and although small, offers alot of variety.
Small mall not much, famous portal is an amazing place. Going there for a long time. Not much else I go there
There's some good stores and restaurants here with a pretty good food court too. There's a Food Basics on one end and a Dollarama at the other, there's two banks RBC and BMO, Shoppers Drug mart and a variety of other stores in-between. You'll probably find what you need here.
Good little plaza that had quite a bit of everything. It's more like a outlet store with some stores that are warehouse prices. It's pretty old but it's pretty clean.
Nicely renovated cozy three cinemas in one location.. plays Tamil Hindi and Telugu Movies mainly.. down side; it's cash only and inconvenient if u come in with no cash.. BMO and TD near by but still inconvenient.. and Nachos only served with cheese (where is salsa and hot peppers).. movie experience was good..
Good mall. See Harry for a haircut. Good food selection. Careful driving in the parking lot. Good store selection.
Mall needs a renovation. Has some good stores and places to eat. Lots of parking space.
The mall is uniquely known to cater to the Indian especially South Indian demographics in the locality. The two special places of interest being Saravana Bhavan the world famous South Indian restaurant and the Cineplex known for screening Indian movies in Tamil, Hindi, etc. I visited Saravana Bhavan and had a great dining experience
A very simple mall without frills. I've got grocery shopping, banking, fast food and the LCBO within reach.
Very well located with movie theater for Indian movies and nice eateries
Really bad sound system specially the ads are the worst! Theatre and customer service is not bad! But we don’t have no option for Bollywood and Telugu movies so it’s quite famous place.
Great for groceries, ethnic foods, as well as fast food, has an LCBO, and KFC, Tim Hortons and independent Chinese bakeries that sell buns cookies and cakes. Lottery terminals at the post office and convenience stores. One large dollar store, and several restaurants, one TD bank (line ups usually very long).
They are still renovating the mall, with the new tile floors etc., it has made it extremely noisy - Also they are building something at the back of the mall so there is no parking where there used to be so it is now almost impossible to find a parking spot at that mall.
I grew up around here. The family biz's run the mall. It's a small mall nothing crazy buy some stores will have you feeling a warm home feeling.
I've been there 3 times so far and it's random compared to other malls. There are stores you wouldn't see anywhere else and some of the stores sell unique items that not a lot of places sell. The mall itself doesn't look too fancy and that's what sets it apart. Definitely recommend at least 1 visit.
Today I was following up in hope of retrieving my lost items. Security was amazingly helpfull. They helped me find what time i was in the mall what stores i was in and everything he checked the cameras and we went to every store i had been in that day. I would not have been able to find my lost bag if it weren't for how calm and helpful everyone was. I'm so greatfull
Due to covid-19 quite a few stores are closed otherwise it's a good place to shop. Not too big and not too small. Ample parking.
Visited the professional offices before the stores in the mall were open. The mall was being used as a Chinese-themed gentle exercise class. Great music!
Small mall but has all the necessity store, banks, pharmacy & movie theater.
Food court is pretty empty.
The Tim Hortons inside the mall was closed, and so was the pastries shop. The South Indian restaurant was open however, and the businesses which have street access were also open. It's a it and miss with the operating hours of certain businesses during lockdown.
Would be nice maybe if they could change the color of the walls, does look a bit aged. And since they are undergoing renovation why not repaint it as well. =) Maybe the lighting as well too.
A community mall that's going to continue to be a major community hub in North Scarborough. Plans are underway to retain the mall and use some of the open parking lots for new infill developments comprised of both high rise and mid rise …
Not enough variety. Too many Asian themed stores. We need more North American, South American, African, West/East Indian and European influences. We're not Hong Kong or China.
This place has some great stuff if you're looking for something specific but might not be for some. Convenient location for banks, grocery etc and other day to day needs.
You can find almost all the products related to Chinese Community in here. Chinese stores and language has larger proportion in here Other major stores like LCBO SHOPPERS DRUG MART FOOD BASICS are also available Banks RBC TD CANADIAN TRUST Even a small food court is also there.
Saravana Bhavan is the iconic spot of this place. The food there was so good.
This local indoor shopping mall has served the community for decades, with a fair share of retail, dining, and entertainment facilities emphasizing the South and East Asian diaspora. The mall has seen a renovation recently and an surge in businesses under mainland Chinese ownership (though the cinema continues to be South Asian-oriented). Nevertheless, all the essentials such as grocery, banks, and convenience stores are always there.
No social distancing seen here and is a mess!!
It's somewhat crowded with how things are arranged...Shoppers at mc levin and neilson is a better place.
Woodside Square is the shopping mall closest to my house. It gets rather busy during the school year because there is a high school right beside it. Students will often come to hang out during lunch or after classes. There are a number of restaurants and fast food joints in the mall so you will definitely not be lacking in food options. Also you will get good options for groceries or home items. If anything the only problem is sometimes the washrooms can be dirty and there aren't too many options for buying clothes.
I have been going there since I was a kid it’s the best mall in my neighborhood
I only go here when necessary. SVP, TD Bank, Mcds, Saravanaa Bhavan, Canada Post, Dollarama, public library, and that Asian bakery the sells cheap buns are the only places I visit. I hear the jerk chicken poutine in the food court is good so there's that too.
Why this mall giving more important for chinese. many community peoples living this area but all the activities making by Chinese. they need to give chance for evrybody
All your essentials in one place. Food here also ranges from generic fast food places to some more locally known restaurants. I'm grateful to live close to Woodside.
Somewhat run down shopping mall, although there have been many renovations as well as coming plans to modernize the mall which will hopefully breathe a bit more life into the mall. Great local hub for the surrounding area and schools. Fairly wide variety of food choices in the food court and around the mall, although being a local resident it does get stale but bearable after a while. Certain amenities (i.e post office, banks) definitely boost the quality of the mall Most of the older stores that don't do as well are closing and being replaced by newer shops, which is a good albeit somewhat grim turn for the versatility and convenience of the mall.
The mall is under renovation but they still open which is totally fine. But it is so dark if you come foodcourt during night time. A lot places in the mall actually are very messy and not clean, the floor is always dirty and the washroom is not okay most of time too.... Really hope they can do some improvements.
Good place to shop
This mall has all the essentials in one place which is so great. Lots of food options and clothing stores, some of which are alright. I feel like you really have to look for clothes in this mall, nothing really stands out. I’ve bought some extremely comfortable clothing from a couple of stores which are of decent quality.
A nice and large mall near Finch and McCowan roads. There are a lot of stores including food courts here. I guess the main attractions are Woodside cinemas which plays Indian regional films as well as the south Indian restaurant situated nearby.
Cinima. Banks. Supermarket. Telephone service. Snack. Le chatue? outlet. Sports outlet. Food court. Mcdonald. Popeye. Flower. Library. Shoppers. A very small square contains many things which fullfilled basic needs.
We went for vigil movie first show the theatre was quite good. Moreover a South Indian film running successfully in Canada.
Another go-to place where it houses the things you preferably need. I like that it is a small mall and walking would not hurt your feet. I like the new renovations which made the mall alive and well lit. It included the fast food area which look boring before. Now it is a better place especially for the elderlies community who meet up there in the morning. Great renovation job!
Pretty good place. The food court here is pretty bless and you can probably find all house hold things that you need here between the shopper drugs mart, dollarama, and other small shops (:
What a neighborhood staple! Woodside square is home to a diverse arrangement of food establishments from typical fast food, Asian and Southeast Asian Cuisines. In addition to that, they have a food basics and bulk barn for all your specific cooking needs. Other than that, I generally go here for errands but I hate going around the afternoon or lunch since it gets way too crowded.
You can find food court, grocery store ,lottery tickets, cellphone service almost everything relates your life. Awesome!!!
feels like home. wouldnt say its the most fancy mall but it definintely has a bit of everything. would recommend the owners renovate cuz i feel like this place has potential. renovate!
A really nice community mall that caters mainly to a specific nationality. I have been here on numerous occasions. The lady that assisted me with connecting my Virgin phone had great customer service skills. Not many name brand stores with the exception of SVP Sports store.
Good mall, I visit several times whenever free.
Our Scarborough Woodside Square Mall is lovely in every way. Thank you to the Councilor Cynthia Lai of Ward 23 & the new Management/owner of Woodside. Thankyou for everything and hours if operation.
Great improvements over a 20 year span, used to be regular hang out spot during high school lunch time etc. Brings back nostalgia and carefree days of being a teenager !????
No elevator facility for old people. Not a state of art facility. Very bad seating; difficult for all ages except kids to sit. Doesn't worth so high price. No proper display of timings on the website. Poor communication and design.
The only reason I truly come to this mall is for Woodside Cinemas. One of the poorest conditioned malls in Toronto. Food court is pretty putrid as well.
It's a great mall for the locals. All the staples and discount stores + a decent food court w/ an amazing Caribbean place.
It's a cool place! It has really cute shops n stuff! Maybe it should be a bit more tidy?
This is really really good shopping mall if you are not a brand name freak. I have honestly seen things that are almost half the price of the big brands , i don't trust the quality though. I really like SVP Sports they have nice collection of shoes of all big brands. Other than that this is like a market with independent stores. Sometimes you might find good things but be careful to trust the quality. Happy Shopping.
Looks great and I can buy a lot of things there. The point I gave 4 stars is food court. Foods are just fine with the price and not many kinda foods there.
Nice Mall. Not too big. On the small side though you can probably find most of what you want. Not too busy either. Adequate parking.
There are more stores we need for our life. Food, bank, coffer, hair cutting, McDonald's, Tim Hortious, and so on. Multicultural communication.
Lots of open space. Not crowded.
The shops with outside access are pretty good. Good wings, frozen yogurt and Chinese food. The interior mall stores and the atmosphere inside is a bit drab and could use some brightening up. Has LCBO, Shoppers, Tim Norton's, Food Basics so is handy for groceries. It is never really busy which is a bonus when you need to dash in for something.
quite place. library end of the mall
The place is very gud and have types of brands and things that one can thing of and the person on shops are all very good also the price is also reasonable not too high or low and offcourse the things the durable . Me personally buy shoes from the other stuff from SVP sports and others store like Bcausal also it was a good shop and the manager advise me and helped me in choose the items for me overall my experience was 100 out of ????
Lots of variety when it comes to food choices
Pretty good mall. Many stores. Management is good.
Just had the most AMAZING customer service experience with Ash at Koodos. This girl is the Go To girl for all your phone service needs. Absolutely hands down no fuss no bs straight to what you need with class. Thanks again Ash you made my day ???????? if I could give 10 stars I would!!
Great food, fresh, real fruit drinks. And very fast service;! Friendly staff, and clean environment. Order 300 is very tasty, along with the Mango fruit shake.
Nice asialicious festival. Enjoyed the entertainment and food
Shop there all the time, my bank buying my lottery ticket clean and nice.
"Let's get some tropical joe's" jerk chicken Poutine at its finest at woodside mall. There are a lot of restaurants there. Whether u feel like Chinese or fry chicken or pizza or McDonalds, you'll find it there . Big library, you can also get groceries at food basics. Love it
Nice theater, it is small but clean.Staff is good. The best I like is it has an interval break.
The mall has a pretty good and diverse food court. It also offers 3 dine in restaurants, a south Asian theater, an LCBO, its home to every single cell phone provider( but BELL) and 3 of the 5 big banks. It has a decently sized library within the mall as well. The washrooms are volatile, they should be cleaned every 30 minutes, they are that bad. If you really got to use the washroom use the one upstairs where the offices are. The mall is usually very busy, but their is a huge amount of parking available.
You will be surprised what this small plaza has to offer you. This plaza is one stop shop of everything you need (dollarama , grocery, bank, food, hair cut, massage, planting stores, library, lcbo, etc). There are no fancy clothing stores, which you can go to Scarborough Town centre. This is a plaza with all your basic needs. I been to plaza with similar or bigger in size, and they aren't as good as this place. I truly think this place is under rated.
I have noticed a significant hike in prices in almost all the retail shops in this plaza after reopening during the 3rd phase, I am all for supporting local businesses but it's also not fair to overpay in even hair salons for example, these prices won't got down after they make up for their losses I am sure.
It's easy to get to.very convenient love the store especially food basics. Very easy to get around.
Tim Hortons and Mc Donald's are open. The shops inside the mall don't allow shopping . SVP sports only allow Curbside shopping and pickup. So I guess you wanna call the specific store first before going.
before covid started, this mall got bought out and in came a bunch of chain stores and chain restaurants. Starting to look like every other mall. Loses the neighborhood feel that this mall used to have. At this point I could just go to any o ther mall since they all have the same stores
Didn't explore it fully, but it seemed fine with a good selection of shops. There is a huge Chinese banquet hall and 3 banks. The washroom was clean and modern.
Ok but folks drive as they are on a indy 500 track. Like slow the f%%$$ down
Went for buffet @ Saravana Bhavan and food was amazing and service was good eventhough the restaurant is packed
Faizan was amazing, he always help me with any inquiries i asked for him when i come in but i dont see him anymore, i hope he comes back soon i like dealing with him
Nice little mall for everyday needs. Some great renovations are planned for the area
Now it is improved a lot. Lots of new variety stores.
Sprawling mall at McCowan and Sandhurst. Lots of oriental shopping experiences. And some drool-worthy restaurants. I was surprised by how big this place is. Find out in advance which entrance is closest to where you want to go, otherwise you will end up walking a lot.
I go here mainly for the bank, post office, LCBO, Shopper's Drug Mart, or to get a quick bite to eat on busy nights. There are a lot of small independent stores. The Food Basics grocery store always had a long line at the cash register. The florist and alterationist does a really good job and provide really good service. I used to go to the library as a kid it has a major re-vamp a few years ago so it's much better now. I used to go Woodside Dental for many years; they do a pretty good job.
No place to sit down and some staff was very rude to me. People who are sitting in the restaurant for hours just buy one coffee. And not enough sitting area
COVID review - there is only one entrance open currently and there is a security guard to ensure that people are only visiting stores that are open. Security asks which store you are visiting prior to letting you in the mall. Safety measures are in place with sanitizers and plexiglass installed at opened businesses.
Neighbourhood feel. Pretty spacious. Has all the essential amenities including library, supermarket, Chinese dim sum, food courts, dollar shops, banks, cell phone carriers, pharmacy, etc. Plenty of parking.
Nice community mall. Has all the stores you would need. A Shoppers, a small food court, post office, Tim Hortons, Food Basics, RBC, TD, BMO, Pizza Pizza, McDonalds, Popeye's and Subway. Very busy at times as it is located near 2 schools and school kids flood in especially around lunch time and after school.
Nice mall for good deals on clothing and food
This is one of the older malls in Scarborough, relatively small in scale. Although it has received some renovations in the past few years, the variety of stores and offers are still quite limited, with lacking of some blockbuster stores. It has one mall level only, with a small food court. I feel that most patrons are neighborhood residents.
there are restaurants. groceriez. banks drug store..theatre. public library. etc.etc.very good place to spend time with friends n families n daily necessities
Its has the essentials, Shoppers, Dollarama and a LCBO. Has other food business's in and outside the mall.
Looks like there are going to be tons of upgrades here but there is a lot there right now while under renovation
I grew up in the 80's in this area and this was one of my go to places with my family to shop and go for a walk. Back in the day I use to love walking around here and go to the local stores. It hasn't been updated much in a long time so …
McDonald's is pretty busy here and they do not make good burgers.
My last few visits were good and fast. Once and a while the order is wrong
I went to subway to buy dinner. Now they have parking front of the store.
It's a mall. Not too many big chain retailers here which can be nice if you're looking to support smaller more independent retailers. This mall caters primarily to the Asian demographic so if you're looking for items that are harder to find in other areas this may be a promising place to look.
Well the place is very nice and busy and lots of store and the food court was selling nice food and I loved coming with my friends thanks
Nice mall.not too crowded. Nice eateries in the mall
Mall has pretty good location and infrastructure, but the entrance and exit is really weird and confusing. Also no proper lighting during night time.
This indoor playground compared with other places I’ve been is little small, but it’s very fun place, my both son likes this place. Staffs are friendly and prices are ok, place is very clean! This place is always packed with people! Also …
Good. But they run out of milk options very quickly.
Not bad for a local mall. Has a supermarket , shoppers drug Mart , lcbo, library , restaurants, dollarama, food court. SVP sports outlet has deals on discounted sporting goods.
It's not a bad B class level mall. It's got 3 banks, Tim Horton, McDonald's outside, a library, Food Basics, Popeyes, KFC and other restraunts and stores on the outside.
Average mall with some interesting restaurants. Just be careful when you visit as I almost got attacked by a middle age female for not holdkng the door open for her (note during Pandemic, personal distance of 6ft is supposed to be maintained). She then followed me through the mall and called me names. First time visit and that was my impression of the mall. Someone will demand you open the door for her, like a doorman.
There is plenty of parking, and the variety of businesses is good (bank, takeout food, grocery store, bakery, post office, bars / restaurants, pharmacy). 70% of businesses in the mall are closed due to COVID-19. Some may be closed permanently.
Great mall to run your weekly errands. Got a little bit or everything; including cheap eats in the food court. One word of advice is to avoid high school lunch and afterschool times. The mall gets crowded as everyone just got off school.
Been visiting this mall since I was little. The food court could use more variety though. Never an issue trying to find parking.
Variety of shops and professional offices, several banks, LCBO, SDM, Food Basics and $rama, food court, post office, library, theatre features Indian films. Sit down restaurants are Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian (vegetarian). Wild Wings has outside entrance if you are looking for a pub atmosphere.
For survival, I have everything. The New adventures Banks, grocery store, drug store, dollar store, Food court ,mobile co. Stores, post office & couple of boutiques. I think it should suffice.
Very nice place for quick shopping with lots of parking. Currently there is floor repairs going on so have to be a bit patient.
A small shopping centre with numerous small stores. Has a decently sized food court with a good number of food options when factored in with the small bakeries and the food vendors outside of the food court.
There was a Menchie’s location here back in 2018, but I am no longer able to find it. I guess it closed. It was nice and cozy. Not too busy, which I’m guessing is why it might have closed. Service was great, staff was friendly, and dessert quality was on point. All in all a good experience. Very unfortunate that it might have closed.
A small mall yet places are not easy to find. On the whole, people are friendly, merchandise quality is good, and prices reasonable.
Like any other community mall in Toronto - has foodbasic, McDonald, library, banks, shopper's drugmart, foodcourt, shops and stalls, eb games, bubble teas, and many more. Very convenient for the locals to gather and pass time.
Very good mall!!!
Great convenient location with fast food, restaurants, and groceries, and shopping, and banks.
There's a lot of parking spaces and there is a variety of food choices at the food court and around the mall. Not a good place to shop though because there's only a few clothing stores and there's not many shops since there's only one floor. The public washroom are relatively dirtier than other shopping malls. Overall, I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you just want to find some fast food to eat or have to go to the bank.
Nothing fancy, but it covers all your daily needs in the community. Various restaurants and fast food chains, banks, drugstore and library. This shopping mall has a cinema too. The mall has much more selections than a local plaza, but less high end stores comparing with other malls.
This mall has everything and once it gets bigger then it'll be even better. It has food basics, Toronto public library, eateries, restaurants, banks, dollorama, etc.
There's a library branch and a few decent shops. Food court is ok. They do Tai Chi every morning before most of the shops open, which is kind of cool.
Typical neighbourhood mall in the suburb, in corner off Finch and McCowan. There's the McDonald, LCBO, Shoppers Drug Mart, banks, Tim Horton with no drive thru, Pizza Pizza and a few eateries including a Chinese noodle place and a popular Chinese restaurant.
Shoppers Drugmart at woodside square the Pharmacy Team is Amazing especially Chieng Ivy Albert with Auvshini they are very polite warm very approachable patient understanding and actually take time and listen to you providing very helpful information about my prescriptions. Thanks so much Suki Sidhu . Highly recommend this store for their ongoing commitment. Also the very special ladies at cosmetics Angela and Kamal they are so very approachable compassionate knowledgeable about all their cosmetics lines and perfumes and demonstrate excellence in customer service and satisfaction.
Good place because we can go to movies, food stalls..everything at one place
Woodside is doing better and better. Probably the management is good ????
Kind staff and place is clean
A mall that has most things you need. Grocery store, food court, Tim Hortons, library, shoppers, banks, dollar store, McDonald’s etc.
Small shopping area. Various banks. Hardware store. Restaurants money gram. Gas station
Loud sewage truck. Mall management does not grasp the noise nuisance it is to the neighborhood. Loud piercing noisy truck usually parked by movie theater. Substandard mentality making decisions.
Nice little mall. You got all your essentials here: public library, shoppers, dollarama, timms, food basics, subway, banks, wireless carriers, a decent food court; a little bit of everything. Ever since we moved here, I hardly remember having to go elsewhere for shopping. I don't even drive as much too.
This mall has down graded a whole lot there was much more variety of stores available last year and now so many are closed... the children’s stores have minimized to just one store in the whole mall ... and the food court is restricted to few choices... the library is very nice and SVP is the most valuable attraction in that mall.. very disappointed ☹️
Use to live near it several years ago, mall has actually upgraded quite a bit and it's more worth while to go there n shop due to array of retailers and banks.
Very convenient and easy access clean and maintained location ????????
Great place to hang out, swap war stories with the seniors. Essentially it's an Chinese dominated mall with shops to eateries, friendly ppl all around. And most importantly there's an Tim Horton's near the TD bank entrance????
This is more like a plaza, there are barely any good stores in here, hopefully they get better stores. As for the movie theater I hope that one day they open up a regular Cineplex or have to the theater show both English and Bollywood movies
Alot of stores have closed down for good. Food court seems pretty dead
great little shopping Plaza, it's got Food Basics to do some grocery shopping. BMO to to some banking. Dollarama, nice food court, Canada Post
This place has improved a lot over the years. Also the amount and diverse activities conducted on these premises in the last couple of years by local councilwoman Cynthia Lai, who also has her office in the mall, has contributed to its success and popularity
Similar to other malls. Looks to be undergoing renovations and refreshing the previous dates look. Nice array of stores and wide walking areas.
Sarvana bhavan is there where people can enjoy 100% vegetarian foods.
Great shopping places following covid safety measures not to many stores open
Woodside square for me is special because I spent most of my time shopping and watching bollywood movies with my parents and family since I was a kid. This place has variety of restaurants, bakeries, south asian movie theatre for Bollywood movies, banks and much more, highly recommended.
Got so much better over the year!!! There is a lot of new restaurant open up and they renovated alot of different area. Love this place!!
Clean and tidy mall. Always go there while picking up my haidilao takeouts.
Good parking, no line up to get into the store, some people respected social distancing and wearing masks, long wait to cash out, not enough cash were opened.
This mall has not changed much in over 25 years. Half independent owned stores and half the mall is chain stores. The food court could use a huge upgrade, not enough seating with students and elderlies fighting for tables at lunch time.
Clean-ish mall, has a good variety of stores (e.g Dollarama, Food Basics, Virgin Mobile, etc.) The food is mediocre, but if you really must eat there you should head over to Tropical Joe's and try their jerk chicken, or head to the Vietnamese restaurant in the middle of the main hallway.
Strip mall with some good big box stores and multiple smallr shops selling varied stuff, mainly catering to the chinese population around the mall. Nice hang out area in food court for the elderly people
