Throughly disappointed. We went for trick or treating at 3pm on Oct 31st . The website and the sign at the mall said that trick or treating started at 3pm to come and find out trick or treating started at 12pm. My kids left with no candy and disappointed.

Somehow in this age of box stores in manages to cling to that former glory of the indoor shopping mall... nah its dying slowly like the rest held aloft by reworking itself to hold box stores at one end, inside though empty spots and closing out sales, ah well a relic of the past.

Nice to see more shoppers in this clean, spacious mall. The adjoining theatre is a big attraction, esp the comfy recliners. Public mall washrooms, also clean, provide easy access for wheelchairs.

I had nachos and it was a heaped plate of chips and salsa. It was good but there was 5 times to much, a real waste of food. The service was fast and the older waitress was really friendly. Our meals were diner type food. The parking is very crowded and there wasn't really a good handicap stall, which I needed for my 90 year old uncle. I would like that fixed or revised by their management.

This is a great indoor mall and has excellent spaces for special occasions. The downside is that there aren't many stores for family fun except for the library (which is beautiful BTW)

I use to love this mall, since Covid it is sad to see all the businesses closing! Hanging with my friends at the mall as a kid is one of my best memories, lunch at the food court, a matinee at the theater ..i sure hope things get better for my daughter and her friends.

The South land Mall is still going strong even with out a Robins. People are hopping for a Tim's to take it's place. They are saying more people will come to the Mall which means more money. Another business is a Doller store which would brings more people , which means money .In all its still doing good support your local mall's.

One of the better malls in the city, a good variety of shops and the facility is clean and well maintained. Malls are something of a dying breed in this day and age, but this one is still alive and kicking, for now. Lots of parking, a food court, Canadian Tire, Safeway, and a movie theater all inside the same building.

Not alot of stores in this mall. All the bigger named stores can be accessed from seperate outside entrances, which makes you have no reason to actually walk around the mall inside. Food court doesn't have alot of options but have alot of seating

This mall has really turned itself around. It used to be a terrible mall with no stores but since Sport Check moved into the mall its much better! Nice selection of stores, clean and modern food court. Movie theater is upgraded recently with nice recliner seats and an updated arcade. Sunrise is also a nice new addition to the mall!

Great mall with everything you need. This isn't a flashy mall, but it is my favorite in Regina and makes a good showing overall. It is clean. Recently renovated. Good anchor stores like Canadian Tire. Food court has a reasonable selection. Attached movie theatre. Nice surprise of having an attached public library. I'm from out of town coming to Regina once a year. Despite that I make a trip here at least once or twice a year.

Great shopping mall. Went with my kids on a Friday afternoon and it was super nice, there is an indoor playground just like the park ones, how cool is that? You can spend a shopping afternoon with your kids without feeling guilty. At this holidays you can take pics with the Christmas decorations or with Santa. And on top of all that there is a library there too. What a nice place to spend an afternoon even when the weather is not that nice.

This place went through a major renovation couple years ago. Lots of things were updated. In Regina standards he's pretty decent and it's fairly close to my place so I visit it quite a bit if I need to buy gift or have a quick meal. I also get my haircut and dental services from the businesses in the mall. Having a movie theater a grocery store Canadian Tires and Sport Chek and all the other businesses under a roof makes filling up a weekend easy.

Nice mall. Love going to eat at edo japan, but discouraged how so much seating is off. Think its more then it should be. Have a hard time finding a place to sit. Sitting at the top counter facing people walking by i think is a bad place to be a spot to eat. Maybe take that out and open a few more tables. People walk by near, could cough, sneeze right in front.

The Southland Mall was very pleasant on a Monday afternoon. Got to see a friend there. ???? Masks were required, which given current circumstance was necessary. But nothing felt too out of sorts.

The mall has a movie theater so when you are done shopping at one of the 100 or so stores you can go catch one of the latest films to hit theaters. The mall has a food court with many different places to eat ranging from sub way to New York fries. Overall a very good mall.

Not my part of town or regular shopping venture destination ... but My 2 favorite stores are situated close together there: 1)Canadian tire 2)and marks (work, outdoors, etc apparel )3as well as my bank CIBC has a branch there And the food court at the southland mall was always legendary ... The Jehovah's witnesses even gather there after their Saturday morning service LOL :D

I like the southland mall, they've done a lot to improve the look of the mall and add anemities that pull people in, the most recent being the kids playground area, which my niece loves :) I hope that they continue to keep it updated and are able to fill the vacancies so that this continues to be a great place to visit!

Anyone with small kids will appreciate the Park Southland area of the mall with an indoor playground, ride on vehicles, a toddler playhouse and a chalkboard. It makes visiting the mall pain-free and fun as a family.

For a mall this has everything. There is a large well tabled food court with at least 6 vendors. A movie theater, a large grocery store, specialty body cream store, a liquor store in the parking lot. A Canadian Tire automotive, outdoor and home supply store sharing the parking lot. There is one restaurant that i have been in. A specialty tea store. A dollar type store. There is a bank in the parking lot. There is lots of parking for the various entrances. The public library is accessable from the mall as well. There are restraunts and a book store with its coffee shop accessable through the parking lot and a seperate entrance.

One of the best place in regina where you can find everything from restaurants to retail stores as well as mobile shops, chocolate rooms, clothing stores and so many. During the festivals it attracts a lot of people and they can enjoy their holidays. This place has it's own ambiance which makes it special from every corner.

Just about one of the only malls in the city, it's got good variety in the food court, an amazing selection of stores, and a theater showing the newest movies. Always kept in good condition, not often too busy.

I would say it is the best mall in Regina, you have pretty much all the stores and food joints. Cineplex is attached and have games and all. The one thing i like about southland is its huge parking, going to cornwall, you have to find parking spot and also pay for it. Southland is free parking and just spend as much time as you want.. there are stores lyk The Source Telus, Le chateau, below the belt. And it does have women stores like Rickys and they have huge varities, something for everyone. Staff is comparingly more friendly and helpful. You will not have someone following you in the store they let you have your privacy. For food joints orange julius, booster juice, newyork fries, subway a&w opa. All are good and seems busy throughout a day. Safeway is attached so you can do your grocery and shopping at same time. Overall experience is good..

An ordinary mall but like many of them fallen on hard times. Last I counted there was 9 empty places in there with one more store closing soon. It will get temp places in for Christmas but then those spaces are empty again. The library is in there so that keeps me coming back.

As an employee of this mall I can confidently say that if a serious situation were to ever occur and security were needed to take action that I would fear for my safety. When there are situations in which security is called they do as much as picking up the pace when walking in circles around the mall and often get upset when we ask a task in which we feel unsafe doing. Customer service isn’t any better as they have asked that instead of stores calling security directly that we contact customer service and then they will contact security. This doesn’t make much since because if security is needed there is no time to be playing a game of telephone and in order for security to be contacted it would require customer service to actually pick up the phone and dial the number.

The arcade is ridiculously expensive, theres not special about it. Dull grey floors and walls. Rude staff, boring selection of stores. Even the food court is over priced.

I went to the southland mall with my boyfriend. I am unable to wear a mask for two reasons 1) medical and 2) religious. The Canadian charter of rights and Freedoms and the human rights both say it is illegal to deny service to anyone based off of medical or religious reasons. Most places when I am questioned I mention medical and they’re very good and understanding about it. The evening security guard Tyler on December 15, 2020 approached me at the Southland Mall. Told me I had to wear a mask. I mentioned I have medical exemption. I forget exactly how he worded it but essentially what he said is “he didn’t care I had to wear a mask.” When I brought up the Canadian charter of rights and freedoms and the human rights, he then banned me from the Southland Mall for 30 days. He said if I came back before then that He would call the cops and have me forcibly removed and I would be banned for 1) year. I tried calling the Southland Mall and asked to speak to the manager for the security guards, I left my phone number and my name and no one called me back. I am going to be contacting the human rights commission and seeking legal counsel unless “The Southland Mall” can make this discrimination right. The excuse the security guard used was “I’m just doing my job.” This excuse did not stand up at “Nuremberg trials” These trials were held after WWII was over. I have the whole conversation recorded.

In the fast food, there is one lady is cleaning there, she is very nice. Looks rude, but once y ask her for something, she is helpful & doing hard job by honesty.It’s not a huge mall however it offers a variety of stores, most of them are interesting and worth the visit. The food court is pretty standard and features all of the same restaurants as any other food court in town. The place feels clean, spacious and it’s not hard to get around. This mall can definitely keep a whole family busy for a while if you consider the cinema in the back!

I loved this place. Everything is available here. Southland mall has very good parking facility. It also accommodates many eatery outlates, entertainment media theater, and Regina central library. Full score to the Southland mall.

The mall has improved over the last few years and has probably benefitted from the loss of Walmart. Still one gets the feeling it is overpriced for vendors as it has a hard time getting and keeping new stores. Good place though.

Not a fan of Malls in general...prefer individual stores that I can get into easily. Southland has pretty much everything you need tho...except the brand names most trendy people look for. The Triangle Community has its 3 heavy weights there if Sportcheck, Mark's & Canadian Tire are your jam. They aren't mine so almost never go here. No nice Home decor shopping. Great theatre tho!! Recliner seats are the best!

Decent mall but the new covid mall hours (11am open) make it difficult to shop in the mornings due to the mall being more crowded and busy because of the reduced hours. If they go back to opening at 9am/10am I will probably shop there more often due to it being quieter and less busy.

The pandemic has taken it's toll on the business in here. I am sure with some work at finding new tenants once things get going again will make this a great place to shop again. In the meantime there are some great retailers in there so try to support them, so they can hang in there.

This is a very nice mall thats very clean and has been recently renovated so it has a more modern feel. The food court offers a decent selection and the washrooms easily accessible. They have an attached theatre that always has the newest movies. The anchor store is a Canadian Tire and Safeway, both very good. The mall also has a variety of stores the sell clothing, jewelry, games, ect...

I really wish all the malls would just amalgamate and become one super mall. The mall is lacking some stores but they seem to be trying to improve visitor experience. The library in this mall is very nice. The food court is also great!

Spent an entire afternoon wandering through the shops with my friend. Totalled 2.1kms of walking. We had a blast and found everything we wanted EXCEPT I wish there was a dollar store in the mall. There's one behind it, beside Starbucks, but that isn't very convenient. There are lots of options for clothing, athletics, jewelry stores, Canadian tire, and so much more.

The mall is ok. There is no real anchor. So the smaller stores are not the greatest. The Public Library is in the mall. Which is excellent. And the Handmade Saskatchewan store as well which is lovely to visit and buy gifts in. The third draw for myself is the movie theater. I wish there was a better option for groceries. And it's missing a drug store.

A lot of empty stores, food court only has a few places open, and the Halloween party for the kids was a huge disappointment. The party started at 3, but only 1 store at 3 was handing out candy, the rest had run out. I'm sure if Canadian Tire wasn't in that mall, it would close down.

Went to see Rogers kiosk and saw kids AND adults riding around on motorized stuffed toys. WILD. Then went into M & M Meats for the first time. Interesting but didn’t buy anything.
