This Mall belongs to the category of Shopping mall.
Good selection of stores to help meet your shopping needs, Although it can get crowded at peak mall hours. Helpful staff at the information center, and car shaped strollers to rent in case you forgot your at home. All you need is just a photo I.D or Drivers License to put down as collateral, and you get your I.D back when you return the car shaped stroller. So its pre much a free rental, the I.D requirement is more so for the records book to keep track of the strollers.
Pine center mall is a mall, like many others. Has all the usual shops and eats. Recommend tandoori nation for food. Nothing fantastic about the mall and good for wasting some time. Starbucks and liquor store close by outside, and soon to have a browns social house.
Great place to visit when finding a gift for someone. It is beautifully decorated and stores are easy to find. Their food court has a lot of diversity and there are lots of places to sit after a long day of shopping. ????
Small mall but then again it’s in a small town! Good place to go to escape the cold. Have a decent variety of fast food restaurants and some nice clothing stores!
A awesome place to shop highly recommend this mall
One of the last Northern bastions of shopping in British Columbia this is a fantastic little mall here in Prince George. The stores that are here are all high-end quality shops and it's layout is easy to understand which also makes it easy to get around.
Went to several stores all with happy and cheerful cashiers!
It's a decent mall. For the size of the city I think it should be a bigger mall. There is a decent selection but there could be more. It has some of the necessity stores but there is room for improvement. It's nice they built a browns close by. The bank are Starbucks are also close by, both with drive through access.
Some empty store fronts here, but clean and welcoming.
We found we come to the mall mostly for one or two specialty shops. Friendly atmosphere most of the time. Enjoyable. Love walking throughout pine centre window shopping. Security honestly can be quite ignorant at times watching them talking and interacting with others. Overall love pine centre.
Hit and miss. Can be kind of dirty at times. Not the best but it's alright for a midsized mall.
Biggest indoor mall in PG. decent selection.
Everything u need I’m a shopping ???? centre …
Always a pleasure to visit the mall when we visit the city. There are several good stores, like Black Sheep Gifts, that my family and I like to check out. The best part is the play area for kids. The mall is pretty clean for a mall... It would be nice if it were bigger, but that's asking a lot.
Best place good to get what youz needs ????????????????
Listen, I know we're in the middle of a pandemic, but there needs to be more indoor seating. I desperately tried to find a seat for 1 1/2 hours yesterday while waiting for my ride and when I did find one, people were sitting in them and a lot were eating their meals and sitting for longer than 10 minutes at a time. People need places to sit. So please, if you can help it, put more indoor seating in the mall.
While this mall is fairly clean and has a good selection of stores, its bad atmosphere of thugs and lowlifes around/in it on weekend nights ruins the experience. Security should do a better job to create a family friendly environment.
New construction means growth for this mall. COB's Bread has some of the best pastries and breads. I always spend too much in their locations. Stop in for one of their samples they always have out. Try not to spend like I do .. I dare you! :-)
There's new york fries and EB Games are the 2 best stores in Pine center mall overall
not a lot of shopping for beauty, skincare and quality clothing aside from what shoppers has and lululemon but lots of jewellery stores and phone/technology places
Not overly busy, ok.. masks are better ng required in few stores like Spencer's... Was cool to see Game Changerz in there ☺️
They made it brighter and more inviting to be in the mall, new vendors which are good for everyone. Need a bit more variety now.
Although Pine Center is not a huge mall like in Vancouver area, it is indeed a very nice place to spend a half or whole day there! I love to visit this mall especially in cold winter!
Clean, and a great variety of shops and food court.
Lots of store options! But a little unsafe in some areas, beware of your surroundings.
Great mall and a nice diversity of stores and kiosks
Good place for Christmas pictures with Santa .but expect some delay due to long line up.
its got everything that you would need and good food at foodcourt
This place is amazing ???? lots to look at and some great deals they have Tim Hortons lol which we all can use a good cup of coffee or cold drinks Food court is awesome lots to choose from nice to relax and then go back shopping ???? Everyone practices social distance I got actual Crocs pawhaha ???? From Pine Center
Excellent service at Bently, Claire's and Kernels. As usual the treatment I got from the sales girl in lowes was very bad. I asked her a question and she was very rude. Don't display items if you don't carry them in store or train your staff how to help without sighing and acting put out
Everything you'd expect from a small mall. Walk in circles and buy stuff untill you feel sick to your stomach 10/10 I all seriousness tho it's actually a pretty good little mall. There's a new pretzel stand that's great I recommend trying it out !
Drift sport clothing store get rock revival jeans, head rush , Santa cruz clothing and more
I like the customer service at the mall, as well as the options to find your favorite stores. They have a lot of stores and it's easy to find what you need.
Good variety, but because of retail rent prices in Prince George, the retail outlets tend to charge premium prices for their goods. Not to say there are not bargains to be found, but with COVID still active, I personally do not wish to spend the day hunting for said bargains. Online shopping makes more sense in this town, unfortunately, as this creates a paradox for local retailers. While I want to support local stores, my hard-earned dollars go further online.
Fairly busy in there. Nice to see. About 50% of patrons were masked up.
Grew up in PG, always hated the mall. They've really done a good job of refreshing it and making it family friendly. All of the open stores are well kept and reasonably vibrant. The food court has a nice variety, but nothing healthy really. Spent almost an hour with the kids in the play place, this is really well done and appears to be kept super clean. Much better than I remember 20 years ago.
I'd like it better if we didn't have to wear masks everywhere. It has a great selection of types of shops and has a purdy's, which I love.
Amazing I love it there it’s amazing but I only have one thing to say, a lot of renovations, but that’s it.
Nice food options at the food court and nice activities to keep little ones entertained. Definitely a one-stop-shopping place.
This mall has absolutely nothing in it. Back in the day it had everything!!!!! I used to work there many moons ago and finally came back into town for a visit and wow. No selection at all. Won't be back sorry
Been around there two weeks ago looks the same great place to buy everything you need.
best inside mall around except for the washrooms around the mall. I assume no one is happy to clean such out dated washrooms. Should be updated
Kinda meh. Has some good stores but too much of the same stores and not enough variety
Limited number of retail outlets Destination for shopping with foods
It's the mall, pretty good either way. Personally I would like to see a better selection or stores but once save on moves in you won't even have to go anywhere else to shop.
Absolutely love the pine center !
This is a great place to shop and find all that you need under one roof. There are many shops to browse and great friendly service at all of them. There is also a food court offering great meals at affordable prices. Lots of free parking as well.
I always enjoy my shopping trips here and always leave with more than I planned on getting because of all the sales.
The Pine Centre is clean and friendly, and it has the best shopping selection of any mall in BC north of Kamloops. The food court has plenty of options to suit all tastes and is a great place to stop for a full meal or a quick bite.
Kinda good for shopping obviously but it's so crowded and people won't respect your space
Went in for a little Christmas shopping. I was good. Big mall!
I was there today very popular and lotta people at times.
The place was super busy and packed... during a pandemic. Half the people wore masks, the other half didn't. Dislike the large gathering of people and it just justifies why I quite literally only go couple times a year at most to the jewelers for repairs.
Was pretty empty inside the mall when we went. Clean and security could be seen wandering around.
Liked the cleanliness and also the social politeness of PG'ians practicing soc. Dist'ing & masks. The staff all kind, welcoming, candid, and knowledgeable. Having booster juice within the food court court helps with energy levels for all the hours I'd spend there so I really like that! The sales were alright on clothes..some VERY good actually! Housewares ..jewelry..and tech sales seem to evade me tho lol. I also wish there were more affordable natural eco friendly options available in many of the great selection of stores at Pine Centre but i was pleased to see some options available. All in all good mall, but can do with minor upgrades on indoor ambiance, or music, or lighting along walls, or maybe a fountain or 2 or 3 lol.. or welcoming themes perhaps. My kids seem to respond to 'tone' ..much more enjoyable shopping experience than frenzy lol ..btw they LOOOVE the play area and the ride by food court entrance....now only if there were space for a PAY-PER-Hr daycare. Your welcome..to the entrepreneur who utilizes my idea lol.
Lots of parki g good selectio of stores and a grocery soon to be ope ing in the mall which will be great
My favourite place but the coolest store by far would be Black sheep gifts... something for everyone in there and there body jewelery is amazing as well as their purses, shirts, hats hair dyes; and well everything really... The service is amazing and the people are even better... It's my #1 Store you won't be sorry check em out...????????????
It's okay. The only completely indoor mall in the city. Food court has very few options. Special events during the holiday season. Don't forget to go to Purdy's for their chocolate and ice cream.
Lots of things to do here, beautiful, but not anything like Edmonton mall.
Covered air conditioner mall. Lots of stores to choose from for clothing, home wares and other goodies you might be after. Has a food court if you have the desire for something quick to eat. There are no full restaurants in this facility. Public washrooms on each concourse .
I went to get a PCM gift card but the machine wasn't working so the person got a prepaid visa card instead - was trying to support local. It's too bad we didn't have the kiosk still with a person working it, it wouldn't have been an issue
Its nice that the mall is re-open now, its unfortunate that it seems like it just continues to lose stores, and that their new renovation seems to be just large and done without reason in the fact that its just created a large corridor feeling. Hopefully some nice new stores come and setup shop, and its excellent to see how clean it is in the middle of the Covid pandemic.
This mall has a few specialty shops like Black Sheep and Great White Entertainment but the remaining stores seem to mainly be women's clothing, jewellery and cellphones. The mall itself is generally clean and does host events like local volunteer and sports expos.
Good selection of stores, loads of parking, and good service. Also the biggest indoor mall in town, so sometimes a nice place to do some laps if one wants a flat surface with no I've, or good air quality in the summer
The mall is in desperate need of some new stores. We have no 'one stop shop' options in the mall. The mall needs to do more to attract new and popular stores. It is quite disappointing for a shopping center with our population.
Always loved this place as a child. So much has changed since i been here last. So much i dont even recognize it. But still love it here. Great food court.
Almost all of the store are awesome! They have almost anything you need multiple food stores, electronics, toy stores, phone and internet stores etc
Great place to shop but wrong information about shopping mall open till 6 but some shop still open till 9
Park far away as the parking lot and people parking are atrocious. I rarely visit the mall and there is not much I'm interested in, however, there is a wide array of stores for those who like to shop. I kind of wish they would put a No Frills or something in the old Sears....then I may visit the mall more.
Good variety of stores in and around the mall. Not too crowded either, which is nice since COVID.
It's a nice mall not too big not too small
Not bad, not great mostly the same stores for 5+ years and not great food selection ( even for a mall) no more really bad ( in a artery clogging good way) Chinese food. Some places are overpriced. Still a good place to go clothes/cell phones/jewelry/bath stuff shopping as it is PG but basically nothing else. Hopefully after the expansion set for the old Sears and whatever is happening to Lowe's will lead to a bigger and better selection. As well as hopefully some sort of activity to do.
Would be a decent mall if it wasn't for the pushy sales people at Lionesse. A simple "no" is never enough for them to leave you alone. I really don't understand how they are allowed to bother people like this. It's insulting how they wave their "free" samples in your face and continue to badger you with questions while you are trying to mind your own business.
It needs to be totally renovated! I honestly can't believe how old the stores are in there. The owner of the building needs to fix things up!
The stores are in a large Variety and the Food Court is Impressive ☺️????
A shop for every occasion. Plenty of opportunities. Not crowded and very well maintained. I will continue to bring my shopping to Pine Center Mall.
Mediocre selection of stores and the rent is so unbelievably high that any smaller yet still popular stores can hardly be considered sustainable.
Being out of town, I was pleasantly surprised by this mall. There's a great store in here where all leggings are like $15. Can't remember the name but they are a franchise. Still they have great leggings in different patterns, materials and sizes! There's also a decent sized food court. The mall itself seems to have undergone a renovation as it looks very new and modern. There is a great selection of stores here!
Whats not to like in that store. Brand names for bargain prices. I buy home accessories and cosmetics there. Always a great experience
Nice and clean shopping. Good selection of stores. Washrooms were nice and clean. Fun!
Didn't like the anti-mandaters having a place to eat so they applied it to the cafeteria exempt food court anyways. Amazon for my Christmas purchases it is
Great selection of stores. Waiting for more to open in the rest of the old Sears
Pretty much everything you need is there.
Not bad to many women clothing stores just like any other mall. Nice and clean though. Banks are well placed.
My favourite part of the mall is the Indigo book store and Ricki's clothing store. I would like to see a restaurant in the food court with excellent pizza stromboli's like West Edmonton Mall's food court had called Sbarro. I went to Edmonton last year and had a stromboli from there almost every day I was there. It was amazing! I haven't seen it anywhere since and would absolutely love to have something like that local here in Prince George. It is a great mall though with awesome new stores! Check it out everyone!
Just left the store and want to give a shout out to Paul! He went above and beyond to try to help this computer amateur with her problems :) I will be back to pick his brain for sure! Thanks Paul!!!!!!
Couldn't find any joggers that weren't tapered. Ugh not the malls fault, maybe they should get some stores that sell higher end clothes and stop putting stores in that sell Fox, Hurley and billabong.
Like a lots of places in town it's damn near got everything a person could want or need
The mall suffers like other business in the north. Never as updated as the same business in the interior of the lower Mainland but it is always clean and they keep trying to improve
Great selection of stores.
The only indoor mall in town, so not a lot to compare it to. Average food court and store selection. Decent play area for little kids.
Good variety of shops. Very clean. Good choices in food court.
Bright, spacious, clean, safe, and modern mall with a nice variety of stores. I haven't been to the new Winner's there yet, but look forward to that sometime in the future. Nice little food court as well. Lots of places throughout the mall to sit, which is wonderful for a disabled person like myself. Look forward to shopping there in the future.
Good mall with a good variety of stores, especially clothing stores. Young people love to hang out here, it seems to be the hub for that in Prince George. The food court is okay but have been at better. The stores here have put on really good holiday sales in past years which is always really exciting.
Pine Centet Mall is an over all great place to both shop and socialize. They have an awesome walking program and even a play area for little kids.
Parking is limited and needs updating. Business seem to have a tough time surviving so the store fronts tend to change
Surprising very nice. People were very friendly and stores relatively well suited to the location. Hope something goes into the space where Sears used to be. Perhaps a save-on-foods or another Walmart? Or both. We’re from Vancouver area and come to see our kids 3 or 4 times a year.
Literally the only indoor mall in Prince George, it doesn't have a whole lot of competition. It's adding things like browns social house while losing the big box stores like Sears. There is always at least a couple vacant store fronts until it gets closer to Christmas. At this point it's kind of an iconic piece of Prince George history.
It's the largest mall in PG by far and the stores change often. Impossible to review a place like this without using a biased personal opinion. So just go on a adventure and figure it out for yourself!
Great mall with lots of selection and average size food court. The mall has two floors.
