Smart Centers are just grouping of big box stores????, so you've made a wise choice saving money and also saving gas driving from one to the other. Maybe that's why they call them Smart Centers... either way, lots of stuff, about what you'd expect. If you have never been to Walmart then my review certainly isn't going to prepare you for greeters????‍♂️????, so be strong and don't worry, they only want to check your receipts ????✔️and say hello and goodbye. Hence, greeters. You'll likely be fine... This Ronas store is my go to place for tools and supply shopping. They are Always fully stocked up. Additionally, there customer service and staff is really good. They got pretty big parking so it's easy to load stuff in trunk.

I love that Rona is pet friendly, that is always a plus for me! I love taking my dog with me and it makes my life a lot easier. This store is very clean and fairly well organized. The first visit, we were helped immediately and given direction on how to purchase large items. The second time, I had asked an employee where an item would be and if they carried it as I was having trouble finding it - she said 'it should be there' and walked away. I was really frustrated because I had to go find another employee to point me in the correct direction as I wasn't sure where 'there' was.

Canadian Tire was great in having the tires I needed and installed within hours of my initial call to them. Today, Dec 1, 2018 I needed an E test to sticker my vehicle. No appointment, was told next Friday is the soonest. I explained I was sick last week and still have last year's sticker on the car. A mechanic overheard and said, Send him in now. I was in the store 15 minutes, if that long. They are always there in a pinch for me.

Prices at the Welland Rona are decent but only good thing about the store. Customer service is hit and miss, some being polite and helpful while others.. not so much. Curbside pickup is confusing and not very well run at all. No designated or marked pick up locations. When someone finally answered the phone after ringing a long time I was told "we will bring it out when we have time". Waited almost half an hour for our order. The guy that brought it out was very polite and friendly but seemed to be the only one doing it and was running like crazy to get deliveries out. I could see him literally running as he put items in the cart and rush them out as fast as he could. He was awesome and is the reason the store didn't get a lower rating. Not very impressed over all and this store will be a last resort for further orders.

Big, spacious, I don't feel crowded when I'm there. There's 2 things that bothered me with this store. One is that you have to go searching to find someone for help. Also, the way they have their line up is a little bit weird because of covid-understandable, but the thing that bothered me was there was a line up far away from where I was. I saw a cashier that was just finishing cashing someone out and as I just started to approach the cashier, she ended up yelling, pretty loudly, "There is people in line ahead of you!" The thing is, is that there was supose to be another line for that section of cashiers, but there wasn't so I had to walk all the way near the end of the cashiers to get in line. I'm not bothered that I had to get in line, or the fact that there was 1 single line for all the cashiers, my problem was how loud she spoke and how rude she was. I was completely embarrassed. And ofcourse there was no helper to guide you to the cashier and to where to line up, in order to hear how she was acting.

The hairstylist from the salon inside this WalMart was extremely rude to everyone around her, speaking to a disabled senior abruptly, repeating instructions from across the room. She never approached the check in desk, just ordering people around from a distance with hostility. I walked out with no haircut. I will NEVER return to this salon.
