Not enough cashiers for shoppers who have a full cart (full cart = important to limit total number of shopping trips, impossible to do self checkout because you need an "in" and an "out" cart, and there's no room for that). Restricted number of cashiers = spending more time in the store/lineup.

I like the area but I find something exiting is missing. Either some kind of entertainment or something of that sort. At the moment it is a cluster and you need to drive through there very carefully, sometimes big trucks park there which obstructs your vision on on-coming traffic, so drive slow.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The bakery items are always fresh. Women's wear was well displayed and reasonably priced. Lots of choices from the Cosmetics department and again, at reasonable prices. I enjoyed browsing through the store. Carleton Place Residents love The Walmart because it's always a busy location to shop at. I don't have to say anything else !! Give it a try next time you visit Carleton Place.

Not a whole lot in Carleton Place! This little mall includes Walmart, Hallmark, Bulk Barn, EB Games, Pioneer Gas, Tim Hortons, Pizza Pizza, McDonald's, access to Thruway, and more. Not a very good Walmart (poorly stocked). Other places good / helpful depending on your needs.
