REVIEWS OF Parry Sound Mall IN Parry Sound

Dave Burnside

Close to Tim Hortons, Harry's No Frills and Canadian Tire gas Bar. All good. Lot's of parking. Busy place. The Parry Sound Mall has only a few stores in it. Quiet place. There is a Royal Bank in the Mall and ATM outside.

It's good needs mire stores

Doris Wykes

Hart is one of my favourite stores in Parry Sound. I'm DELIGHTED with the kitchen table and chair set I bought for my apartment, because not only is it small scale and attractive, it's also so unique and stylish that my friends' jaws are dropping and they're asking in awe, "Where did you get THAT?!!?" And they have EVERYTHING, from electronics to clothing, furnishings to giftware, and cards to cookies, chocolates to toys! I don't go often, but it's hard not to. LOL

J C (Spaulding)

A typical small town mall not very much here but if you're on vacation they've got what you need

Scott de Koning

Old and broke down. Most of the stores were closed and we had to leave our drinks at three front till at the Harts store. Just a weird experience

Sherrie lee Cormier

Hart Store has the best selection of bedding and great pricing

Leslie Tackney

Nice little spot to stop and get refueled before getting back on the highway!

Matthew Goulet

Is it because I came on a Saturday morning, or are they going out of business? Mind you I'm from out of town, but the manager said, when I walked in with my wife with coffees that no drinks were allowed. We just wanted to browse and there wasn't a soul in that store or the mall, excluding some seniors using the bathroom. We promptly walked out.

Elliot Mahon

Not good

I just went to the nofrills, but it seems like any other mall from the outside

Wendy Prakken

Mall seemed closed

Sara Scott

Limited mall but has what you need. Groceries, fast food and Hart. I love Hart stores

Matt Longmuir

Really friendly staff. Went twice for their Kawartha dairy ice cream and fudge. Will absolutely go again when I return to Killbear.

This mall is what I would call a "dead mall." Although I had visited this abandoned place years prior (I don't even LIVE in Canada anymore) I've had precise memories of this eerie, ghostly "mall." * The mall is rarely occupied. Only about a handful of other shoppers including myself * Only about 2 other open and running stores in that place. Hart and I believe a nail salon * To cut costs, I presume, they had left the lights off in the ENTIRE mall except for Hart. Literally the only store anyone goes to in this ghost town of a mall Extremely disappointing place. Parry Sound Mall has definitely seen better days.

Not much stuff in the mall I mean the only stores there are Hart’s (which has good staff and good discounts), a small health department, a subway, Fitness Center and Northern Reflections, The place is old and there’s not many staff there, it’s also kinda dirty, there were some amazing places that used to be here.

David Coles

Let's face it...there is no mall. A couple of hold-out stores and some government offices. Will never be what it was. Such a shame

Barbara Langford

Northern Reflections you rock!

Stacey Swan

Not much in this mall

Matthew Wyjad

So.... qualified 5 stars.... im rating this place not as a mall but rather as a location to chill out while you let your 2 year old run free. Boxing week and this place is dead. Most of the lights are turned off and it is just the most pleasant place to sit on a bench and relax while your two year old climbs around the kiddie rides and explores the random junk stored in the main hall way. I think about 5 people came through in about an hour and a half, which is great cause there's almost no way to lose a kid in a crowd. Also, the health unit hands out free water test kits, which is great cause i just got a new well drilled and i needed to do that anyway. This would also be a great place to hang out and write music in near total privacy. The acoustics are great.

This former mall is much smaller than 30 years ago. Really it only contains a Hart Department Store and Northern Reflections Women's clothing store inside the former mall. other than a gym for locals. However the exterior face has a Subway, Red Canoe Interiors (great for gifts and decorations), a Vitalaire outlet and or course there is a No Frills grocery Store. Left over from the old days is a Canadian tire Gas station. For those unfamiliar with Parry Sound this mall is located on the northside of town.

George Gulyas

Depressing due to lack of abundant stores. The place was good at one time.

Thors Beastley

This was a busy mall. Has seen better days. The Hart store has good bargains. Northern reflection is still there for the ladies. But not much more for shopping needs. It's under construction.

A J

This No Frills is terrible. What a miserable looking store. Produce selection is lacking, freshness is zero, prices aren't even that low.

Sylvia zwaan

Nothing there for really anyone any longer

Jamie Rodgers

Sadly the Parry Sound Mall is not what it used to be years ago. I really hope they add more stores again to rejuvenate this side of town as it is very much just a place you go for the very odd item or to exercise. It is kept clean though.

Gary Morris

The hart store is great.rest of mall is empty. Too bad.we could use more shopping options in parry sound.

Scott Ki

Very dumpy. I'm pretty sure people went to the washroom to use drugs in it. Used to be great a decade ago but now I would not recommend

Christopher Hughes

Beautiful mall... just need some "in style" businesses to fill it up.

Malaki Hughes

This mall is so great it has a hart, northern reflections, tons of dust, empty halls and coin rides.

Page Bush

This isn't really a "mall" in today's standards by any means. Basically a random combination of offices with the few exceptions of stores.

Heather Valentino

Cutest grocery store and has a great selection!

Macawesome75 (Macawesome75)

Seems a bit empty for a mall, but the Hart store is good

Lenni Nickelo

Sad to say that Parry Sound mall only has 2 stores in it, Northern Reflections is one, I can always get a great sale there, a great assortment of ladies wear

Arlindo Vicente

If you're heading north, good place to stock up on groceries.

Glenda Dunn

Our mall has next to nothing in it, very sad considering it was once the place to be

Brenda Sherlock-Hubbard

Relatively clean, friendly service, good produce and good sales on a variety of products.

Brian Reavely

Wasn't inside but very few stores. Only really a No Frills

Nathan Andrews

There aren't that many stores anymore

Jayne Tomlinson

No Frills is in this plaza and Subway and Hart's Department store.

Charlee Gingrich

Only 2 stores to shop in. But there is a church (harvest bible chapel) located inside and a fitness centre opening soon.

Brandon Haddow

There is no good clothing stores for kids and adults. We jeed better ones

Carolyn D

Hart store is fine but almost the entire mall is out of business so there's about 2 stores left.

Kirby Freeman

Not really a mall. A couple of stores, health unit, and some outdated kiddie rides...

Larry Marshall

Doesn't really qualify as a mall. Maybe the pandemic has done some damage.

Ivan Cox

Man what happened to this mall? For the few stores in it good for them.

Heather Marchment

Just went to the subway here so I can't speak to the rest of it. The subway was pretty much your avg Subway

Kevin Healey

Everything to do with the Parry Sound that has been disappointing in the last couple of years.... I'm hoping the construction will add life to

Andrew Reid

Clean nice place.

Kay Pea

This mall is a serious ghost town. We used to go as kids and it was an awesome mall.. it's abandoned now. A bunch of closed up stores and empty hallways. There is a Hart and northern reflections that's it.. everything else is access from outdoors. Crazy how much it has changed

Lynn Manning

No Frills was typical except for a staff member who directed those waiting to check out to the next available cashier. Wish all No Frills did that!

Kathryn Plunkett

it is difficult to call this a mall. The 2 stores that remain inside the mall I shop at quite often. They generally have the things I need.

Roman and Mary Szymczak

A once thriving center of Parry sound now nearly abandoned

Barrie McAndrews

Only 2 stores remain

Michele Lavallee

A joke of a mall. Everything is gone.

Brandi Gordon

Nothing really here, dirty bathrooms

Corinne Alves

The mall only contains 2 stores Northern Reflections and Harts.

Erin Stibler

Some interesting stores~Right next to No Frills for the Cottage Crowd~

Mark Rutledge

Is just an empty mall with 2 stores

Sara J

I rated it only 1 star because only a few stores are open, in the mall. I went into 2 stores Hart and Northern Reflections. Hart reminds me of a small Zellers type store with various products like clothes, school supply and household goods etc... Northern Reflections was a nice women's clothing store and it's staff were friendly.

Sonya Pelletier

Very quaint little place..... You can purchace most anything fr nuts to home furnishings at the Hart store Brand New Fitness Center... Northern Reflections

Denise Diltz

Only a few stores open, but I'm glad we stopped as we got a few great deals.

Darlene Crowder

Perfect place to shop for all your grocery needs .Friendly staff .Store was clean .Line ups were long but quick .

Laura Kerr

What a shame. Not much left. Bathrooms are not to bad but not that great either. Only a couple of stores left. The health deoartment is still there if you need your water checked. Lots of parking

Ashley Rice

Typical outdoor store you would find near any campground filled with old books, kids tchotchkes and overpriced produce. Still a fun spot to spend a rainy afternoon.

Richard Chapman

When everyone is up and running ????‍♂️ everything goes smoothly ???? at this mall.

Tim Falconer

Non existent, health unit office, small town Dept Store, That's about it

Wayne Robertson

Decent selection of merchandise at good prices, a little something for everyone.

Kelly T

Sad that this place can’t be improved. 10 yrs ago it was a really nice mall with a metro and small stores. It is a dump left empty and rotting like a lot of the rest of this town. New blood needed and new businesses needed to improve the town to what it should be.

Lloyd George

This is a sad place to go to. The concept was good, but no support has made it a ghost town

Pamela Stiles

Usually well stocked. Fresh veggies and fruit.

Muriel McKee

Poor excuse for a mall. Out-dated and very few stores.

Christine Fluney

Shopped at Hart. Got a new purse for a great PRICE!

Hillary Handy

The mall is a physical building with virtually nothing inside. No store can survive in here, unfortunately. If you are passing through town, do not stop here thinking there is adequate shopping...

Kyle Mercer

Legit. Best food court in town. Amazing Subway patio also outside of said Mall

Jan Burgess

Mall has transformed a lot over the years. Still a No Frills there - bery pleasant staff. I think the Royal Bank has moved out. Hart is still there - sort of a discount department store. I went to the Vital Aire store beside the Subway store that sells breathing equipment. Pleasant staff - a little slow but thorough. Mall has a gas station plus access to the right for Tim Hortons, a laundromat and a variety of other smaller stores.

Andrew Clark

Nice place. Has a good department store

Brad Boltan

The Hart store us awesome for the smalls and odd ball items you can't find elsewhere and the staff is helpful, polite and courteous. Love going here.

Jonathan Stock

Just parked at the parking lot. Great parking to eat.

Timothy Trafananko

Use to be great when it first opened now it's pretty well abandoned. I guess no one supported the mall anymore even the bank moved out. Sad to see hope they re do it someday.

Jason Godfrey

A mall? Not really... a gym, clothing store and a government health center where you can drop off water samples for testing.
