We have the opinions of real people like you who bought the products and services of Oshawa Centre (Mall) in Oshawa (Canada).
At the present the business gets a rating of 4.3 stars over 5 and the score was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an reviews average is really high, and it's founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the evaluation is very accurate. If people have bothered to value when they are pleased with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Mall belongs to the category of Shopping mall.
Don't go to this mall often, but they do have some nice stores. Alot better than before. Wasn't busy at all , no line up at most of the stores. Was able to walk in and get what I want. Washroom was clean and there was alot of sanitation stations around .
One of the finest mall in Oshawa. This is usually a busy place even in the times of Covid. There is also a vaccination clinic at the north entrance. Food court is nice here. Almost al brands are here for your all kind of needs. A nice hang out place for people. A huge parking lot is also available here.
The honest truth about this mall... Yes it is a great clean place with a wide variety of stores however I always leave with uneasy feelings. Ever since I started going here about 4 years ago I couldn’t help but notice I get treated very differently when I a person of colour am shopping alone versus when I shop with my white mom. When I am alone I never get greeted at stores or assisted, and when I am with my mom workers are much different if you can infer what I’m hinting at. It’s sad that this beautiful mall has been ruined for me through bad experience after bad experience. I urge both workers and managers to treat all customers with the respect they would want in return
Many new & old stores, clean, spacious mall with great natural lighting! Great for mall walking too! Everything you need in one place, so convenient!
Love the Oshawa Centre. Oasis in the heart of Oshawa. Mall is now upgraded to high standards. Great place to shop.
One of the best malls in Toronto. I love the stores, and spacious hallways.
When you go right at open lots of parking and not super busy! Always so clean too
It’s an okay mall. Some good stores but also a lot of mediocre stores. Usually pretty clean, and free EV charging is a big plus.
This is a great mall. I don't have a reason to go here often but when I do, I enjoy it. There's a nice selection of stores and a general upscale atmosphere. The only negative I can think of is that parking can sometimes be a challenge.
For the number of cars in the parking lot, Oshawa Centre was not crowded. Very easy to move from store to store. Lots of variety. Nice place to be on a rainy day.
Very impressed with all the remodels since the last time I had been here years ago. It’s so much bigger now with so many more options for shopping, eating and more. Every store we went to the employees were great and helpful. The crystal store was the best.
really fun and large! i really don’t understand why people say this place is not clean and people don’t wear masks. EVERYONE wears a mask unless they are drinking/eating something. not only that but the workers and janitors clean up very often! and many stores have a policy where if you return something and walked/went around in that item (most likely shoes or clothing) you cannot return it. the food court has lots of options and great food. there’s many good shops with good deals usually :0 thanks for reading, have a good day :D <3
This mall has the nicest mix of retail that appeals to me. It is not a homogeneous cookie store selection it has a broad spectrum appeal lke the varied offerings in the great food court. Well done O.C!
Great management of foot traffic and limiting the number of exits available to access the premise. Everyone - and I mean everyone - must answer the security’s questions about symptoms and COVID self assessment upon entry. Appreciating everyone’s hard work to make the mall safe!
Probably the best selection of stores in Durham in one place. Indigo / Chapters built in is a huge plus. Great selection at food court too. Lots of stores beyond just women's clothing - Dollarama, build a Bear, mind games, FG Bradley's, GameStop, etc. Airways do my Xmas shopping here because they are sure to have something for everyone.
Great atmosphere, the expansion made this mall unbelievable in size with a new (much needed) larger food court
Bit crowded but they follow covid restrictions. Few stores still have "boxing week" or sales. Always lineup. People get there and lineup even before stores open.
Big mall. You have to make long walk to cover it. Neat and clean. Food court is not that great option for food lovers.
Excellent!. Completely new Mall from years ago. New stores, fully renovated, lots of parking.
With all the new stores and the beautiful FaceLift, this mall is looking great and more is coming. Only thing missing is the Apple store. You can even have a beer at the mall now thanks to Brock St Brewery
I loved this place. Pretty big, good stores, nice and clean. Huge parking lot.
As usual didn't fail love the Oshawa center always a fun place to go and see the cool shops, something for everyone for sure
Honestly, my favourite spot is the food court but the whole mall is so nice and clean compared to before the upgrade. There is every store I could possibly want besides a grocery store. The Indigo is amazing and probably the second best only to the Ottawa Rideau Chapters.
Mall open for indoor shopping. Not all stores or shops are open. Check before you head out.
This mall is starting to get some great stores. The new Marshalls is has a wide selection of I had time I would have started my Christmas shopping early. I do with they had a walk way through the middle of the mall as it's a bit of a walk if you want to go to two stores that are of opposite sides . There are alot of restaurants to eat at including Baxter's landing and Kelsey's that have generous seating and nice patios. The mall is in a convenient location right of the 401. Parking can sometimes be a bit of an issue during busy hours.
Since the renovations it is a great mall with upscale stores.
Good mall, renovations mad a huge difference. Good restaurants as well.
No matter how many dumb questions I ask someone working with five minutes left in their shift Christmas Eve, they still went the mile to make sure my knowledge was satisfied.
loved it! the wizards emporium was really cool! and i loved going in to hot topic and spencer’s. but when i was walking through spencer’s, there was a creep looking at all the girls at the back of the store. thank god one of the workers kicked him out! i went into the lindt store and the person working was kind of rude and unprofessional. one of the workers that worked at wizards emporium, they had short hair and they were really easy to talk to and they were super chill and laid back, they walked me through the store and showed me the coolest things!! (sorry if i got pronouns wrong! don’t want to assume any genders! ????) went to the food court and had a hard decision to choose from to eat and we chose subway! the food wasn’t that good. but that’s besides the point. what i’m really trying to say here is overall I had a pretty good time walking around the oshawa centre! first time ever being there!
Was great and the food court was kept well looked after for covid precautions.
Best place to shop. Close to Clarington other parts of Durham region. Recently renovated and good collection of brand name stores.
Went here to do a Kijiji trade, not a bad location and lots of parking. The staff at the Tim Hortons was friendly too.
Never overly impressed with this Walmart. Employees seem uncaring, and can sometimes get far too close for comfort. I have dealt with employees essentially brushing me off to get back to whatever they were doing on their phone. Stock isn't ever amazing. They normally don't have what I'm looking for. Today, their photo machines were broken. 2 in a way that rendered them useless and one that required you to use an app that doesn't appear to exist - at least not on the Google app store. This place is ridiculous. Hopefully they get some employees who care soon because I wont be coming back for awhile.
Good sized shopping mall in Oshawa. Has a great variety of shops, food court with plenty of options and great parking.
Newly renovated, big and clean
Always enjoy visiting this huge mall. Almost every brand here, particularly love the food court and the Indigo book store.
I tried bringing medicine to a clinic in this mall. Security man talked down to me as if I was a piece of garbage trying to bring medicine to people who need it. As a person who goes to hospitals and clinics daily I highly do not recommend this place, no matter who you are they will talk down and degrade you. Make you feel like a useless human for trying to do your job. Horrible security.
By far one of the best malls around the Toronto area. Every store has some sweet employees that go out of their way to assist you with anything that you need, and the food court has some amazing food to eat. The mall is also very clean with barely any spills or marks on the ground that are taken care of staff that are constantly cleaning while maintaining a kind and very welcoming attitude that is nice to have around. Even the security guards are sweet and quick to react to any situations where a guest needs help. Some of the stores are a little bit on the smaller side, but they have good social distancing requirements in place and reasonable store capacities that make the smaller stores feel a lot bigger since you won't have anybody bumping into you. I would recommend this mall to everybody as they have just about everything for everyone of all ages, and anybody who visits will return from the mall feeling happy and positive about their visit to this mall.
It was my first time in the mall since they revamped it. I love it. Some many nice stores. I was there for at least 3 hrs.
I haven’t been to the Oshawa centre since COVID began last year. So last week I decided to go back for the first time in a year and I was very happy to be back. The security guard at the doors was very courteous. There are social distancing and directional markers so people know where to stand and walk and there is hand sanitizer as soon as you enter the mall. The food court is closed off as is to be expected and the mall was not busy at all. The staff working at the stores I went to seemed very happy to have customers and were cheerful, kind, and helpful. Overall a nice experience, it felt good to be back I and I will be going again soon, I missed this place and they have taken all the safety protocols necessary to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Best shopping mall in Oshawa! Definitely worth a visit!
Nice clean well organized . On this date July 7 Wed 2021 building opens 10 but actual stores open 11 . Underground parking closed. No eating in centre.
I enjoyed my time at this mall but I do have to say their was a lot of stores that where not being used. Still some room for growth.
This shopping center is so huge and has practically all brands one can think of. It's very clean and well maintained. It has descent dining options at food court. In my opinion, it's better than Square One mall in Missisauga in terms of cleanliness and interior appearance.
I came to the Oshawa Centre to get footwear at softmoc on the 10th day of the 8th Lunation 6008 (October 16th, 3021 on the planetary Gregorian calendar). I was treated with kindness and respect by the store associate as I'm sure we all want and expect from store associates. If you need footwear and want to go somewhere with great service I recommend going to softmoc in the Oshawa Centre. You won't regret getting your footwear here and that's a garentee.
Lids Store was over crowded. Staff not paying attention to amount of people. Spent more time talking about ex-girlfriend. Rest of stores in mall were well managed. Aug 4, 2021... 1 star lost.
The greeter at the mall entrance was courteous. The walking path is clearly marked so people can maintain social distancing. All the stores have hand sanitizers at the door and have marked entry and exit points. The mall was not crowded or too busy the time I was there which allowed me to get in and out quickly.
So this review is strictly for A&W… I am truly disgusted. They don’t wear gloves while working with food, which is cross contamination and any person working with food should know that 100%. I spoke to the manager about that issue considering I was getting food for my daughter, I got told by multiple people that work there that the boss doesn’t like when they wear gloves because it’s too costly. WHAT???????? I was also told that this is a big issue that a lot of people have brought to their attention. You should be wearing gloves while handling food in general, but we are also in a pandemic as well and it’s just completely disgusting that if this is true that this is how the boss handles things than this place should be SHUT DOWN immediately. This is a big health issue and I am so disgusted.
Amazing place build a bear is a great place to take your kids????????????
Big signs posted at all enterances ,masks must for worn on mall property inside and outside includes in all stores . But when the stores have staff inside before opening, they do not wear masks, so they are breathing on the products that you are going to buy. And store security does nothing, shrug thier shoulders and keep walking away, useless. Sorry but I refuse to buy anything from that mall.
It's a great place for a walk and shopping some stores are with crazy prices but most are really good
Great mall for walking around and shopping. Love the stores.
Mall is not bad, I find the secuirty there need to be taken down a notch. They walk around and act like they're police officers on a mission. Other than them it's not a bad mall
Big Mall, had to eat in the ladies washroom,. Because the food court was closed, So What as I to do!?
The OC is a great place to spend your money haha! They have a pretty diverse selection of shops to choose from, which makes going there fun. The cleanliness is great here, its relatively spacious and looks nice, overall. What I will say, however, is that there should be even MORE diversity in regards to what shops are located there. Perhaps less jewelry stores and more video game/metaphysical/footwear options. Just my opinion, however.
Great mall for shopping. Just keep the kids with you or you could spend half the day walking in circles. :) Clothes, food, electronics, popcorn and candy.....Little slice of heaven wjen you find that open space on the grass outside to sit and eat.
This is probably the best place in Oshawa to go with friends and either shop or just hangout. It's a little crowded and no one really social distances but other than that, this place as a whole has been pretty good at enforcing covid rules.
In addition to absolutely no capacity control, there are many visitors without masks and disregarding covid protocols, while being rude to other guests and staff (what i observed on my visit). It's one thing to reject masks for whatever the health reason may be, but that does not justify being rude and discriminatory against those who follow the regulations. Mall owner needs to enforce stricter policies.
I'm getting so good at teleporting and time travel, I actually managed to go to one of my old hangout spots at the OC. I don't remember really going so I guess it must have been a good time. Wooooo
Very clean, didnt expect it to be so nice and have multiple stores i love to shop at. Also be sure to check out the harry potter store, located near the food court and sping shoes !!!
I really enjoyed my visit here. There are various stores from clothing to food etc. An excellent place to shop you will be spoilt for choice. The mall is also super clean and not congested. Can't remember the name of the store but look out and visit a country store with really unique home décor items. Loved it!
Staff here is nice, very helpful. Layout is pretty basic so it's hard to get lost. Got a good selection of stores and restaurants. They went hard on the Christmas decorations though and I appreciate that
Mall looks very nice inside since the reno. It's shapped inside like a race track with no way to cut through the middle. Would give five starts if you could cut through the middle like Vaughan Mills Mall.
My friend got chased by some guys at the McDonald’s entrance for money but the security was very good and the staff in the stores were awesome too
This was my sister with a large stuffed 4foot elephant in the back of her wheelchair that I had to take a picture of from mine behind her. Then were to the food court, where it always looks buster then it really is. People are nice and very helpful. The food you can get almost anything a what we have tried has been great. An people are always nice an polite. At A&W if you're not a big salt you might want to skip the seasoning on the onion rings an there's still plenty flavor on them, an they go great the bacon ceasor ranch wrap that is if you're not looking for a big meal. But if it's big your looking for an yous at A&W turn around an there's a Chinese restaurant sorry I can't remember the name but it is we go to often an have tried everything there between the two of us with no problems, there are accessible tables 8 of them if I'm counting right. Also the washroom by the food court has 1 or 2 private/family washrooms an 4 stall in the big area an they are big stalls.
Was just at Tommy Gunn's barber shop for the first time and it was perfect!
First time after the make over and I'm impressed. The place is very clean and stuffed with many vendors. The food court is amazing with foods from all over the world. Parking is ample and is wheelchair accessible. The only area for improvement is the number of trash bins. It can be a tad more instead of being very sparsely spaced.
A respectable selection of retailers and options to shop.
Not bad but hard to navigate around the place as accessibility sucks on elevators and what not.
My go to mall. I only give it 4 stars just because of the location and how busy it always is. Otherwise nice food court and has great stores!
It's nice to be here but I think they should work on their food center... bring more food restaurants
Nice place for shopping. Though collections are not super rich but you'll find a number of brands inside the mall to choose from. Parking space is sufficient, some space has charging options for hybrid/electric cars.
One of my favourite malls! There’s a plethora of store options and the food court is pretty nice too. It’s big and stores like urban planet, forever 21 and others have a wide selection and great deals, especially around christmas time.
A pretty modern mall! A Great and wide selection of stores! Great food court and really great places to sit and relax
Great mall! Good selection of Stores for things OTHER than clothing. (Which is basically what every other mall exclusively has) Overall one of the better malls in the region.
Still confused about their mask ???? rules ,like being able to touch n try on clothes ,house hold items etc.but they worry not about transmission of "CUDDIES "YOU CAN BUY FOOD N SIT WITH NO MASK"WTH.THIS HOLE COVID THING IS A HUGE FOCK UP!!TELL ME THE REASONING BEHIND THAT!!!!
It's a mall with some useful stores, but the parking lot is a nightmare. Everything seems to lead to a dead end and it's never clear where the main road is
Clean, brightly lit, top end stores lots of parking. Good food court.
Love this place the go to mall in Durham region. Not the biggest mall but whatever you need or trying to find, you might find something you need or want.
They are very enforcing of social distancing, and still very nice at the same time. Huge selection of stores, very nice food court with big, red, comfy leather chairs. Very clean. Lots of plants and A big bus terminal. There are also lots of security guards to stop shop lifters and to assist customers. I very much enjoy this mall and its better than most of the malls in Durham. Keep it up whoever owns Oshawa center.
covid protocols seem to be followed by most if not all mall goers and employees. very clean space.
Parking space is huge, the mall is clean and well managed, ambience is fine and shopping experience is also good. Lacks halal food outlets in food section though
Pretty big. Has the most of the major stores and a good variety of options.
Modern mall with brand name stores and a spacious food court. Free parking and it's own bus terminal. This place has it all from virtual reality games to fresh flowers to crystal pendants. Weekends are busy with families and students.
Great place to shop. Everything is clean, and the stores are easy to find. Overall, a great experience. I will be coming back :)
likes Jimmy The Greek in the food court and the sushi place by the entrance of the parkinglot to the food court, the mall is good for a exercise walk in a rainy day.Like the korean international newspaper stand, but pickering mall has a better varity of international newspspers.
It is a rather large town centre. Had a lot of shops in and out. You can find pretty much everything here as long as u are willing to roam a but outside The mall is really spacious I also like the fact it isn't very crowded during the day. There is huge amounts of parking space and even when it is full, due to its size, there's plenty of room to roam around. Only critique is the food court. Very small and very limited options.
Lovely mall wish they have more stores in future
Pretty big mall, not the most popular stores but still a good variety. Sad to see some businesses going, but I've always enjoyed my time here! I've found several great deals here! :)
This was a really big mall in Oshawa. It was well maintained and very spacious. The food court was nice and they kept a good social distance between tables. They have all those popular stores so, you can get everything you need at one stop. It was worth the visit.
What an amazing improvement doe a mall that just a decade ago was in shambles. Great store offerings. A place worth shopping for the holidays.
Great mall very tidy and clean and every store taking covid seriously. Went there in summer.
Nice suburban mall. Has some great stores with some good deals. Never over crowded.
A well-kept mall with quite a bit of variety. Usually you do not see this in a small town like Oshawa.
Huge mall with so many stores. I can usually find what I'm looking for here. I would suggest checking the map if you're not familiar with the mall/parking, especially if you want to be on and out. Lots of food options in the food court and the restaurants located on the premises.
Great mall. Good selection of stores and lots of parking
Was pleasantly surprised as I was not wanting to go to there but had to enter the mall in order to get to the Shopper's Drug Mart. I was asked questions about previous contact and travel by an employee before being allowed to enter and the mall itself was not at all busy. I felt like my old self in the drugstore way back in the old days; you know when you could take your time and really look at the make-up, walk the isles while browsing... Basically, I felt safe, like if the few people in there with me weren't wearing masks you would think that everything outside was just peachy. Awesome afternoon for a bottle of hairspray!
Very nice mall enjoyed walking around and the food court was good too
Lots of shopping. Great food. Convenient prices. And friend customer service..
Good selection of stores. Ample parking and wheelchair accessible.
Nice modern mall. Looks small from the outside until you go inside
Happy to see mask on everyone. Stores are clean glad to see seating back thru out the mall
Good mall to visit and shop. ???? The shopping center comes alive near Christmas... Not only with decorations.. But also with more visitors... more offers from many good shops... and the Santa North pole place where kids sit next to who they see as Santa and tell him their wishes????... while being surrounded by lovely decoration. The shopping center also becomes very busy during other seasons... specially during black Friday. During that day many stores have really great offers... and you can see people queuing even to just enter some popular stotes. The food court is good and with many seats. Different restaurants that I thonk will satisfy any taste.
I like it better then scarborough town centre, has all the store i like/need and less busy then stc
Hey, its one of the biggest places to shop in durham region, but I feel like it's starting to feel outdated compared to other malls nowadays. There's a huge vaccine clinic, which is great, food court is getting small though.
Waste of time. Expensive. Trying to be a high end mall when it's just an average mall. It's more of a hangout for kids than anything.
Norma Reed has such pretty and affordable dresses! Chelsea and Diana were so helpful!! 10/10 recommend!!
Some great new shops have come to the Centre and there are some terrific sales right now. They are still following COVID protocols of traffic flow, physical distancing and lots of hand sanitizer in each store. Very enjoyable shopping experience
Food court...the lady that cleaned the tables on Monday used the same dirty cloth to wipe the tables. No spray or sanitizer used. Totally disgusting. Train your staff. Use sanitizing wipes. Nice to know everyones spit and food that dropped out of their mouths was on my food. Oshawa Center clean up your act.
The mall is very clean and spacious
Lovely new atmosphere with lots of stores to choose from
Nice mall...all the top stores here. Love the smell of popcorn when walking
Beautiful shopping center. Definitely will back again
We always enjoy going to the OC. My wife was looking for a specific item so knew where to go, much reducing the shopping time (hate shopping). Great place to go for seasonal needs.
Little bit run down but still offers a wide range of shopping options. Super convenient right in downtown Oshawa.
Lots of stores to choose from as well there are multitudes of parking available . Easily accessible from the 401.
Nice contemporary mall. Comparable to STC, definitely more variety than pickering town. Fools court looked nice, anole outdoor parking space !
My first time at the OC in over 10 years. It has changed a lot since then - more, and more varied, stores. It was all to the good. I was happy to see that most people observed masking and social distancing.
Worst shopping mall design ever!!! You have to walk around the whole mall before findingtrhe only set of escalators to reach upper or lower level. I would like to know who the architect was/is????
Pretty empty since the policies cracked down. Need to put more effort on keeping the bus hub clean.
Kept COVID regulations. Staff cleaned up spill right away. Security made sure no one slipped.
This mall has made efforts to reopen as quickly and safely as possible. The key gathering sites are clean and distance areas clearly marked. The food court is separated and marked with inhouse eating area also separated and clearly marked.
Christmas shopping for gift certificates. Quite a line up but it went very quickly.
I'm in the food court and I notice the ladies next to me panicking. I look and see a cockroach heading in their direction. Would have taken picture but I had to stop it and the cleaning staff swept it up promptly. The food we had wasn't all that good. I only gave 2 stars because it was quickly cleaned up.
Theyve come a long way over the years. Very bright, clean and some nice shops.
This is pretty big shopping centre in Durham region. Many good brand store are here. I love it!
It's huge with lots of shops and food options. It's definitely the best shopping location in the Durham region .
A normal small-town town centre but quite a good selection of outlets and ample parking. The hallways were quite wide which made physical distancing easy. COVID 19 precautions were in place.
Norma Reed has the perfect dresses for every occasion!! Diana and Chelsea were so helpful!! Would definitely come again!!
It's a beautiful center and good place for shopping, it contains many stores for clothing and other essential things also there are food station with many restaurants. There are a huge parking spaces and more than one door to go inside the center, the staff of the customers service is helpful and friendly ????????????????
