Truro Mall has it all, being from the city i wasn't sure what stores Truro Mall had to offer but I was quite impressed by not only all my favorite stores but the size of the stores makes it easier to shop during the crazy time with covid-19 probical measures inplace it was a pleasure shopping here

Not much in there at all anymore. Im lucky if i go in there once a year as it seems nothing ever stays in there. From people's, sears, zellers, pets unltd, Greco, bizou, ect ect all left. It's been dead in there for a long time. I've heard the rent is way over priced. Save yourself the disappointment and just go to the Micmac in Dartmouth. So much better.

don’t let the covid police “united crew” find you trying to us the most convenient bathrooms they feel they are traffic control and guide you to “appropriate” bathroom otherwise. What iam i 12 idaf who the bathroom is designed for i have to go, body is there it’s midweek mid day and your telling me to hold it and use another restroom serious get a real job if you seek authority.

Stores are rather lackluster. Food court is decent enough (hit or miss, depending on which store). This mall has stagnated for over a decade, and hasn't added much of value. Still a rather popular spot for the teenaged crowd, but mostly as a hangout spot rather than a hotbed of economic activity.

Truro mall is very clean and there are a lot of stores to choose from. Their parking is huge which makes it very convenient to find parking, and not too congested. Great place to go to get all your shopping done at once or just to go for a walk on a rainy day.

The Truro Mall is a staple of Truro itself. I can remember the Truro Mall in its glory when I was small to where it is now ........kinda sad but hoping it will rebound. Dollarama is the only thing bumping in there along with the food court :( I miss : Arcades San Francisco Toys or Us ( yes it was in Truro ! ) Zellers I would really love to see some involvement in trying to bring it back to either 1/2 or 3/4 what it used to be like. Covid of course makes it hard and online shopping makes places like the Truro Mall obsolete........ :( Kudos to the current redevelopment of the mall I heard of recently.

This mall once was the main shopping centre for the Truro area. Unfortunately, two of the main anchor stores have gone out of business, it does have several good services, but slowly, the mall is losing tenants. It definitely is different from when I shopped there as a kid in the 1980s

For those who live right in Truro I find the mall to be very convenient, sort of like a one stop shopping experience, a small variety of stores all in one spot. However as I said... it's a small variety. Most stores have been closed down.. or are in the process of being closed down. It's not a mall that I'd go out of my way to get to.

As far as mall's go Truro Mall is one of the better ones. It has a lot of shops and generally the people there are super friendly. They have a very tiny food court with about 4 different restaurants but other than that if you're looking for something chances are you'll find it at the Truro Mall.

As someone who grew up at the Truro Mall, it's nice to see that there's still some life being put into it. Every time I visit there seems to be a new store popped up offering more and more diverse shopping experiences. The food court hasn't changed since I was a kid, but that's fine by me. It's easily on par or even beats most malls outside of Halifax.

Unfortunately there are many vacancies. The stores that are open are great but we could use more variety. Usually the culprit in these cases is the per footage rent is too costly. I think the food court is rather small. Adequate comes to mind.

They have some decent stores and you can usually find what you need. The addition of Winners and Michaels in the last few years has gone a long way to make the mall more vibrant. Parking tip: If you park in the back you can avoid the traffic of the main lot.

A surprisingly decent mall for such a small town. I hear the Chinese food place in the food court is amazing value for pretty good food. I shopped at Mark's for work boots, pseudio for jeans, body shop, and Bentley. There are still some big empty spaces that it would be nice to see filled though!

Great Mall has a food court lots of small shops and bigger stores. if ur looking for food this is the place to go for variety. high ceilings with lots of skylights and plants quite open and airy kind of a 90s vibe but it works. only negative is the pet store is now gone that been there for a long time was my favorite perk of the mall was to see the animals.

Okay! It is good I mean the mall is good. But as a newcomer who lived in Toronto, Truro is kind of very difficult without public transport. In fact, I linked the mall but I must have to have a car before enjoying movement here in truro. I purchased my cell phone plan from truro mall. That was a good experience though!! I mean the virgin mobile salesman was good in explanation!!!

It has a selection for being an hour away from the mic mac mall. It feels like the food court needs a redo, the mirror walls are a bit sketchy, and it seems too tight with the amount of people that try to seat themselves. Plus theres only 3 food vendors could be more but it seems outdated to put anything new in.

This mall has seen some positive growth in the past few years. After losing Zellers it was basically a ghost town unless you wanted a cell phone. A mall this size doesn't really need to have 6 different store fronts for cell phones. (Bell, Rogers, Telus, Wireless wave, Eastlink and the Source). Their facebook page said not long ago that they were adding more seating to their food court. Considering the fact that their offerings include a Tim Hortons, A&W and a very delicious chinese food option, more food choices would be better than more seating for 2 eateries and a coffee shop, to let people just sit around and loiter. Strathallen needs to get with the program.

I stopped at the mall while driving through today for the washroom and while there I discovered a baby care room. This room is designed as a room to feed your baby or change their diaper. It was great for my 7 week old baby. I thought I would have to feed her the bottle in the car, but it was nice to relax there. Great idea! Plus, one of my favourite stores is in this mall(Eclipse). I will be back!

A feeling of loneliness came upon me as I roamed the halls and stalls of this once mediocre mall. It felt cold and eerie, maybe it was the lack of shoppers due to the pandemic whose body warmth would have raised the temperature; or maybe the management was being cheap or still foolishly had the A/C going. Ample parking, I can not forget to mention the ample parking which is great if you drive an ample; otherwise there are plenty of slots for those with alternative forms of transportation. I would recommend bringing a friend, that way you will not be lonely, and they can pay for lunch or carry your purchases.

The variety of stores has went way down and there's not really much there unless you're into video games phones or teen clothes

A nice little shopping mall with a few boutique stores. Probably the largest dollar store though I've ever seen. It was nice to see a Cole's bookstore there though
