Pretty decent pizza for being a small mom-and-pop shop great quality decent prices good service overall would recommend to anybody in the area looking for a good pizza nearby. Places like this remind me that the finer details are what matters in foods then the overall product than churning out mass quantities

This is a review of Lefty's Restaurant, which for some reason won't let me review it individually. I had one good experience there and one horrible one. If your coffee has been sitting there for more than an hour, make another pot!!! Don't wait for your customers to complain about how terrible it is and then offer to make another pot. Customers don't like waiting for things that should be right the first time. I ordered my wrap on white and it came on whole wheat so they had to remake it. When I finally got it back, there was so much mayonnaise in it that it was inedible. I advised the server and she asked if I wanted then to make another one. Well no, actually, I didn't. After not being able to even drink the coffee and after having the wrap made wrong once already, I didn't want to pick something else off the menu. I would have preferred the food that I ordered to be made correctly. So I didn't eat my lunch except the fries, and when the bill came they charged me for the wrap. When I disputed, the server argued with me!!! Said she gave me a chance to order something else. Yes, and I gave them two chances to make the food correctly which they couldn't do. Think I wanted to wait around, watching everyone else eat, and then get my food after that and have everyone watch me eat? No. And the fact that she argued with me really ticked me off. Dont wait for your customers to tell you your food is made wrong. Open your eyes. Keep the coffee fresh and double check your orders before you serve them to your customers. I will NOT come back. Ever.

The only place to buy stuff in this part of the South Shore. A dollar-store outpost with a supermarket, small stores, and a service station ... a McDonald's outpost on the main east-west highway.

Its got a lot of stuff here if you're looking for groceries or the dollar store or you need gas or you wanna go to a restaurant to eat. One of the larger areas for essential needs shopping in the region.

This review is for the Tong (sp?) Moon Restaurant. Just don’t. Gross. Seems like one guy tries to hold it all together. His hands shake like he’s coming off something. That wouldn’t bother me except we asked for Rum and Cokes and he brings the bottle to the table to pour exactly one ounce into the glass (no ice, WTH?) and spills a good portion on the table. No extra or compensation. I had a combo with an egg roll with mystery meat (horrid texture) and a chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken. I asked if entrees had white meat chicken and was told yes, all had it yet the chicken was both white and dark tiny bits and the white was like leather. I could go on with the rest, but why? Drive somewhere better! Oh, and slowest service ever.

Lots of stores and restaurants. Good parking. The Sobeys was recently renovated and it's really great. Lots of Deli and To Go selections. Fairly large health food section.

Stopped here for gas ⛽ at Wilson's. They will pump the gas for you and 3 cents off per liter if you pay cash or debit.

Lots of services around including grocery, hardware, gas, library, hardware, gym etc. The restaurants aren't great, it's mostly fast food. Parking is plentiful and free

I was really impressed by the Sobeys express, as it was my first time at this store. I found thing that I wanted were mostly in stock. Though there was one or 2 items that where not. But the store has a good layout and things were easy to find.

Great little plaza with pretty well everything you need on the run. There is a coffee shop, restaurants, grocery store, dollar store, etc. and even a library.

Beware when entering the parking lot. Too many entrances; it is a free for all. Remember, vehicle damage in a parking lot is a 50/50 responsibility even if you are not at fault.

It's a Sobeys, still dont like the "new" layout, the old all aisle layout was more efficient for getting groceries done imo.

This place has plenty of good places that supply the basic necessities. Stay away from Rona if you can help it, Home Hardware is just down the hill or drive to Halifax. If you need lumber right away head into the woods with a saw. You'd have better luck doing that rather than shopping Rona's lumber yard. Also, there should be a tow truck on standby at all times for vehicles that park right in front of the stores. Otherwise, not bad overall.

we've been here for 6 years in the area. Once again drive-thru gets the order wrong. Ordered double quarter pounder, got Blt... Ordered chicken burger got a junior chicken. Not once in six years have we received the we wanted. We try to avoid them but sometimes it's on the way home, and I attempt fate that today will be the day they will get it right.. Let's just say it will be a while till I return...

you'll never have to leave Tantallon!! Has a bank, a gym, couple of decent restaurants, dollar store, grocery store, building supplies store. The library and three gas stations share the same parking lot. Stone throw away from the Skating Arena. I guess it is missing an emergency department.

Our drop in spot for food and fuel when traveling. We always meet here at the beginning of an ATV or side by side run, andor motorcycle run, grab coffee, fuel for our rigs and usually a footlong sub for the trail! Great location with a bit of everything, we use it frequently.

Easy access off of highway 103 (exit 5), great diversity of shops and stores...gas station, Rona's, Sobey's, Mary Brown's, McDonald's, Pet store, Asian restaurant. It's worth stopping in if you're in the area.

I went into the NSLC for several products and they were renovating the place and half the shelves/ store were bare. Out of 3 products I was looking for they had none. Imagine the NSLC without Drambue and Irish whiskey. Last time I was there it was a Monday and they were closed with a tiny little sign saying so. This is not baseball, so 2 strikes and I will not visit this store again unless beer drops to $1 a bottle and that is not likely

I stop here often traveling from Bridgewater to the Truro or Antigonish area. Several places to eat, from pizza, Chinese, Lebanese, Micky Dees, Timmies, and a pub. I need to stretch here going either way. I eat here when in a hurry. Otherwise, Edible Matters on the way through Hammonds Plains road. Gas stations with awnings at both ends of the mall. Very convenient and easy to get on the road again.
