Here you have all the feddbacks of people who purchase the services of Highland Square Mall (Mall) in the territory close to Nova Scotia (Canada).
At this moment the firm gets a score of 3.9 out of 5 and the score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is very positive, and it is founded on a very large number of scores, so we can be pretty sure that the score is very credible. If people have bothered to give their opinion when they are happy with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Mall corresponds to the category of Shopping mall.
Best parts guy of all Canadian tire stores... great job George! Even the extra mile and offered to take large size package purchase to vehicle for me without having to ask. That's service! !
Malls are getting lame. Same ol stuff. Really only a handful of useful stores left in. Here for me...
Good spot to stop in, could really use a food court to step it's game up
Nice mall for a small town but could use more stores.
Great variety of stores. Bonus was that it was directly across from our hotel.
It's still a good place to be, but what's sad that quite a few more businesses had been closed, including the A&W!
Meh. It's your typical small town mall. Better then Truro.
I visited for a hair cut at the Tartan Blade..
was great back in the day 80's and 90's, now it's a shell of it's former self i'd say Walmart beside it destroyed the highland square. a total ghost mall with dark lighting depressing music and 80 percent of the stores boarded up. sad cause i had so many great childhood memories there, won't be long before this place is totally gone.
This is a quaint little country style mall. Lots of little shops inside. Service is friendly and you kind find most things here. Well lit and lots of parking available. Huge variety of food establishments and clothing and sporting equipment. Some big box stores too, Canadian tire, the source. Great atmosphere here, it has an old school feeling. Not too crowded too which is nice. Covid guidelines in place as well.
It's always nice to go shopping and coffee . Good service with shopping .
Not really a huge variety of stores, but quite good for clothes, Tim's and EB games.
Not too many stores. A few good ones though. I only go there for Canadian Tire and a couple other stores though.
Nice, clean little mall with great anchor stores - Canadian Tire, Winners and a nice sized Michael's Craft store.
It stinks, the Highland Square Mall is dying and is on its last leg, and prefer to shop at the Aberdeen shopping Centre.
A very dated little mall with lots of empty storefronts. Typical of many small towns. Some very "blast from the past" shops like a Coles bookstore and a Hallmark Cards. An excellent dollar store though.
Great mall. Good deals can find almost anything
A pleasant surprise. I went in to the mall heading to Winners. I found several other stores I preferred better but did not expect to see. I never did get to Winners ????????
It's ok, but the store selection is terrible. Small community so nothing lasts
Great place to shop..would be better if there was more shops but thats what happens especially in a small town
A dying mall with lots of potential. Its a shame Sobeys is bad at malls, or just doesn't care.
Great place to shop. Clean mall that has a lot of stores
Open on natal day and quickly responded to my message asking them about it! Glad to get in to get some new clothes. Everything is clean and social distancing efforts in effect. It’s kind of sad to see so many businesses leaving the mall, but hopefully more will come in the future!
A mall that's been in the community for decades. Has seen it's rise and falls over the years. Has stores & shops that fill just about every need. Lots of clothing stores.
I kind of like going to that mall, there's more hustle and bustle there than our mall. Good stores all around as well.
The mall is okay but they have wasted lot of spaces where they could have opened more entertaining stuffs. It does not have a info desk like other malls. The brightness around the building is low due to lack of lights in the mall. They can improve a lot compared to the space they have.
Could use more stores and better parking ...
A decent selection of stores and you’ll always see someone you know! Can’t beat the mall!
Not many stores but the ones that are there are pretty good.
Becoming much less of a destination over the past few years. Their days may be numbered.
The mall use to be great but slowly going down hill as most places are leaving as of late.
Small town mall with a handful of stores and popup vendors. Clothing, electronics, sporting goods, art supplies, and tools all available between the different stores. although i feel that the mall should compact itself as a few stores are a bit out of the way compared to others when just does not seem appealling to go to those couple of stores even to look as they are down a half empty wing.
Really slow and friendly to be in there
Good mall to meet our needs
Went there to cellphone case. A very nice mall. I always enjoy my visit to the mall. Not a big shopper but I am always able to get what I need and get out
Ok for the location, not many options. Would be nice to have more children's clothes options like an old navy
Good parking, a good variety of stores and clean washrooms!
Great spot. Great staff everywhere, and great service.
The mall needs some upgrading badly, selection of stores is very poor, not surprised locals shop online or go to the city, the mall has little to offer!!
Great little mall with many types of stores to suit all your needs. There is a Walmart, Canadian Tire in the same mall.
Small sized mall but reasonable for the location. Has a range of stores to very most needs. At this time (covid) there were a few empty stores. There is also no inside access to the Canadian Tire at this time. Walking areas are clear, seemed clean and signage about precautions and stores was clear
Good cross section of stores, convenient to hwy 104
EB Games is the best store here. Kind of dying mall though.
Not many stores here anymore, but there are a few good places to shop here.
Mall should just close up. Not many stores in there.
The best mall ever. As teens we use to hang out there
Most shops are closed but the best shoe repair in Nova Scotia is there and he is 5 star
It's awesome ????
Not a bad little mall. The store selection is decent enough, with a good variety of different shops. The only major drawback for me is the lack of a true food-court. Apart from a few franchise restaurants (Tim Hortons, A&W, Boston Pizza), there's not much available to sit and grab a quick bite to eat. If that's not a deal-breaker for you, then Highland Square Mall is the place for you.
A clean mall with all your general needs from clothes to gaming. Nothing too fancy, but fits the shopping needs in Pictou.
I still can't believe after 30 years they still call it the 'New' mall
Nice mall, good layout. Shops are dropping like flies. Very sad to see. Miss the Michael's!
The mall. Them all. Them nothing. This place is 90% vacant. What a joke. ????????
Lots of parking. Nice store's
We're picky eaters while on the road. But we always stop at this location. It truely has the best burgers and freshest ingredients.
Sad to see a lot of store closed
Nice mall for a small town, all the basics are available here!
Empty with customers and not a reason shop
Pseudio has really great sales in august ....also love ardenes and coles !
There's just something nice about how mall and local this mall feels
Quite big, lots of room. Plenty of parking. Went to Coles books there, friendly staff there.
If I''m being honest I'm surprised this mall this operates with so many shops closing and moving away from Pictou County, I wish this mall had more but it seems so desolate and not getting better as the years go by.
Very few stores, especially if you're looking for good looking clothing at a reasonable price. You have bluenotes at one end of the spectrum (low quality, low prices and then Pseudio med-quality, high prices). Save a bit more money and take a trip to Halifax or Dartmouth.
Go apply for a job alot of place are hiring..
It's your typical small-town mall. Nothing to write home about. Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire as well as Eastlink a can be found there.
Sad to see so many stores closing....
good but stores are a little different due to pandemic
Nice mall lots of stores for a smaller town.
What a wonderful mall, beautifully laid out. Very inviting atmosphere but could have more variety of stores.
Lots of parking . In a safe neighborhood . Very friendly area.
Great little mall.Needs more stores in it.Nice to have a little bakery&eatery in it,very quiet mall.
Super mall for a relatively small town. Always visit when we're in the neighborhood.
Not a bad mall for the size of the town. Definitely not your go to mall but if you want to find a winners close enough to Antigonish or surrounding areas, a Sear which always have good deals and a few other shops like GNC or Wicker Emporium then its definitely worth a stop. Personally, it's a great stop on the way from say Halifax to Cape Breton or Antigonish.
Very easy to see how to get around with covid rules and restrictions. Hand sanitizers all over. Very well taken care of for us in Pictou County!
Lots of businesses to be able to choose a variety of purchases
An ok selection. Not bad for the area I guess.
I want to love our mall because it's been a staple in the community for so long, but the ever growing vacancy rate and lack of attractions makes it increasingly hard to do so. I've worked there, hung out there as a kid, and shop there now as an adult community member and I hope there are improvements on the horizon.
Not a big mall but a good selection
Waveless ll Great service from Andy! Patient and helpful with a non-techie. Thank you!
A nice little mall that has everything you need. Recent Renovations make it look very modern, with all the stores that is normal mall has.
There are a lot of shops to shop from and most of the time it is very peaceful. Great place to shop
Time to reduce the rent in order to keep your mall filled. Some income is better than nothing. Very sad to see all the empty store fronts
Hate the mall cops ???? constant following up n down the mall. I got money pig. You don't .. sorry
Stores that are there are nice, not much variety though.
Always clean. not as big of a selection for stores as there use to be as rent is pretty high for the small spaces. Lots of closed stores/empty spaces. There’s no food court, there’s a Tim Hortons and an a&w.
A friendly atmosphere. Has a lot of stores and is clean.
There are some very useful stores here! Canadian Tire, Eastlink, Mark's, Michaels, etc. Lots of good parking!
Nice mall. Lots of stores. Clean
Great little mall, lots of selection and friendly staff
Nice mall, plenty of stores. Kept very clean.
As a mall, it's not that great in selection. We lost our future shop and got a Michael's craft store instead. Terrible trade off. Losing more stores in the future.
Friendly people but could use more variety of shops
Standard Mall if ur in the area id recommend the 30 minute trip to the turo mall they have skylights and a food court much more up scale it feels like the people who own this mall dont care anymore no updates in 20 years or more
The easiest place to social distance in Pictou County
No food court, not connected to Walmart. Plenty of close parking because it's not super busy. Has some decent stores but some empty spaces.
Every store is beginning to close, Tim Hortons always reeks, and its stuck in the past (What happen to the renovations it was suppose to get?) The mall needs an upgrade but it's not the most exciting place, everytime I come for a visit there's nothing exciting and just seems more empty everytime. That's my honest review.
Wish they had a food court with all food options together. The website says there's a burger King but I wasn't able to find it.
Most stores are closing or already closed. Not much selection anymore. Parking is great. The few stores they have are well stocked and staff is normally very friendly. Lack of store options is the reason for 3 stars. They should try to fill all the empty stores so we have a full functioning mall again.
It has most of the stuff that the average person would want. A small town so this mall doesn't have it all. It does however have a Canadian Tire, Michaels and an EB Games. This mall does not have a food court. Not big enough for that.
This mall had the essentials. Stores you go to get what you need.
Small mall within New glasgow has a couple different stores i enjoy such as eb games, Canadian tire, sports check and more.
Nice quiet mall with Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons and Michaels. What more could you want.
Nice place to shop for multitude of stuff, be it clothing, electronic, mobile and accessories, sports, home and furnishing, food, etc. The only thing the stores need to have is larger variety for customers to choose from.
Stores should open earlier
Canadian Tire Store here is fantastic. Well laid out with plenty of on sale merchandise available.
Clean parking area which is a good start. Didn't get to go inside this time as I was just visiting but if anything like years ago when I was there the stores are kept clean friendly and helpful staff. Next time in town will go for sure
It's no big mall like you will find in the city but they have all the stores to find what you would be looking for. I've also always got exceptional service while shopping here.
Not alot of stores there now.
Friendly service and bathrooms were being serviced nice and clean.
It was okay yet there's not much of stores on it. Most are vacant and for lease
Interior design is somewhat outdated and bland and could use a fountain, but stores are welcoming and aplenty.
Good trendy store for the younger crowd.
Not much variety anymore, so I'm told. Generally a ghost town after 6/7 pm.
Has been better. COVID has closed too many stores
Love this mall but sad to see a lot of businesses are closed or closing.
My first time at the mall since Covid-19. I was impressed with the safety measures they had in place.
Nice mall has pretty much everything
Theres not much stores in thus mall. Its a ok mall if you need to go to eastlink, bell or any cell phone internet cable provider to go pay your bill if you dont do it online. Theres no specific stores to go to for buying baby/toddler clothes theres only really walmart that has some but not alot. I gp to the mall just to get out of the house i mostly do my shopping online since i cant get to halifax as much as i want.
Not as much going on as when I was younger but still a nice environment.
It's a decent mall for a small city. Has the key shops you need.
I drive an hour and half to shop there everything I want and more and the canadian tire is huge and I enjoy the 1 stop shop
Great little mall, makes shopping in the winter better
Nice Mall
Nothing there to experience
Not much variety...a dying mall...as many are these days
Very nice mall with mostly all conveniences u might need. Also clean.
More to offer than Truro Mall.
Just love to be able to come home to visit the Highland Square and see it hasn't changed all that much
Really nice mall, good variety of stores.
Not much to see at this mall. They have a few big name stores like Canadian Tire, Mark's and Sport Chek (all the same company). There's also a Michael's for those into crafts. It always seems quite quiet inside when we go there. Boston Pizza just closed it's doors, which wasn't a big surprise as it was a bad fit for New Glasgow/Pictou County.
I had not visited Highland Square Mall in New Gkasgow for several years and went to purchase some gifts. It has really gone downhill. Many stores have left and gone to the east side mall. Too bad. It was a central location. Canadian Tire is still there. I will not be back.
A whole lot of "nothing" for those coming out of town. They have more wireless shops than anything else. A few stores, but nothing much to get excited about
I actually work in this mall and it's a great place to shop .The mall is always clean ,merchants are friendly .We also have a great selection of stores.
It's a good mall in the New Glasgow area. It's clean and carries a pleasant atmosphere. I've never seen those groups of unwelcoming troublemakers like I've seen at others which makes it a pleasant experience when I shop here.
This mall is definitely in need of more shops, a new shoe store or one, would be nice.
Very special shopping experience at this mall.
Just went to deliver a package to dental office. Allot of shops closed due to pandemic. Such a shame.
Not the best mall for wife variety of places.
They took out the benches. What are men going to do while their wives shop. Big Big mistake. Some people have to stop and have a break. Wouldn't be going back there.
Great place to shop
Everyone i know go to cityto spend this mall is just a run in and out not much in it boring you need to put Sobeys back in and a steak house toput some enjoyment in it people like to sociize and enjoy a good meal enough pizza places in town the people that work in mall are very nice
Needs more selection. Only a limited number of major retailers
This "mall" is becoming more like a ghost town with every passing month...it used to be a good place to shop but it has been going downhill for a very long time. The mall operators are charging too much for rent which keeps businesses from staying in the mall.
Great place, great stores and clean atmosphere
They have a good selection of stores to keep you busy and get you want you want
Lots of shops and easy parking. Tims and A&W. Walmart just across the parking lot. clean washrooms and walkways.
Sad to see so many businesses leaving the mall
I like the mall with all the places to shop, but sorry to see Stokes are closing.
Got most of the stores I need. Usually not too crowded, used to be better.
Not much here anymore...
Not a lot of stores of interest. The stores I enjoy going to seem to all close.
Uncrowded friendly small shops
