Warming place to spend the day!

We love coming for walks down here. It's grown so much over the last few years and a popular place to visit. There's always activities going on and great restaurants to visit. It's full of life everyday either with the shops, skating or music events. Hope the food trucks come back, they were great.

I’m so happy I picked this restaurant as my first post pandemic restaurant experience! we actually had two of the most lovely servers , Hannah and Taku. Both were beyond exceptional. We had some appies which were delicious and the unforgettable peach Bellinis... with I think real peaches?!? Either way loved my experience here, will be back for sure.

Im commenting on the ice part of this building and its employees. i came right before the ice clean. guy working said i could do a lap or two to feel out and then wait for the next session. that was awesome and he was super friendly. so i get back on after the zamboni did it’s thing and i fell. i’ve been skating half my life and i haven’t skated since covid. i fell again and one of they employees handed out a helmet to me. after telling him i didn’t need one and cuz im just feeling my legs, he then said well im gonna have to ask you to leave. ill try one more time but if that duchebag is there im gonna have to go back to robson square.

Trendy open air park/meeting space. Very Granville Island like, in construction. Tons of fantastic food options from cafes and pastries to restaurants to small take out eateries in the Quay. Bordered by the Quay and the tall apartments & docks on the east side, tons of space to run around with kids. Great views of downtown on a clear day. From the mini parks we spotted seals bobbing in the ocean, lots of fun for kids. Quay has a great market with unique shops, again picking up the Granville Island vibe, which is a good vibe, but not surprising giving its age. Tons of parking in parkades (better than Granville Island) just make sure you pay at the pay station (these were hard to find). Next time we visit we will try the seabus to get there to get some views from the water. Definitely worth a visit.

I like the shipyards a lot, the skate area is awesome, in the summer you rollerblade..in the winter you iceskate. There are several really good restaurants with harbor view and the " Artigiano" coffee place by the dock. Didn't like to see that one needs a vaccine passport to get into the christmas market located in the pipeshop, one can go without in the Quay..regardless of how busy it is but you need a passport for the Xmas market????????????

Had a wonderful late lunch experience with our friends here. Vanessa, our server from Edmonton, was outstanding. She clearly loves her job of making people feel welcomed. She was informed, mindful and so helpful. The restaurant was amazing. Food was awesome! I wish there was a restaurant in Toronto. Be sure and visit soon. I’d make a reservation for sure. Enjoy! Great small indoor market/Mall with a variety of food, florists, gifts, eateries and a speciality wine shop. Located on the Quay it has great views across the water and is close to a great brewery/pub and restaurants. This location is also wheelchair friendly.

Wonderful local skating Facility. It gets crowded but a ton of fun. Free to use and you only need to pay for rentals. Great restaurants and cafes in the area as well.

Nicely developed area to hang out. Well designed. Many restaurants to enjoy a variety of foods and drinks. Or you can get food to go and sit on a bench by the water, watch the boats and the ships or other people. Of course, somehow overcrowded, but to be expected.

I love what city have done for shipyards. Amazing view, great atmosphere and lots of sitting areas to enjoy the weather during the summer. Specially now that you can have your own drinks, there is so much more energy and positive vibe here. Just bring your own bottle of wine and enjoy the view.

Joey's Shipyards is a wonderful accessible location with great menu choices , service, wonderful water and city views including outdoor heat lamps and a fireplace for those cold days/ nights. Both the salmon and Ling cod entees were fabulous. The cerviche was a huge hit.

Great place to spend time with family and friends, many activities around, ice ring is coming very soon and Joey’s Restaurant, Executive hotel, Cascade at the Pier Most Prestigious Luxury True Waterfront Condo Project in Northern Vancouver and more and more....

Great view of the Vancouver Harbour here! The Burrard Dry Dock Pier is a North Vancouver landmark and a must-see. There's many restaurants, cafes and shops to visit as well. The Lonsdale Quay Market is also nearby. From May-Sept, there is also Friday Night Market with food trucks.

The waterpark has very warm water (to me anyways, my nanny kids say it's cold), and lots of seats in the shade (morning sun) and free wifi. Will definitely come again.

Great area for families and locals to gather. With a water parkin the summer that turns onto a skating rink for winter and lots of activities throughout the year this is a great spot just to hang out. Variety of restaurants and coffee shops in the area as well as the great view.

The shipyards are an awesome hangout spot with great vibes and views!! People watch, wander around, have a bite/sip or bring your own drinks.. that's allowed now!! Great place for a low key photoshoot too. I noticed some reviews here are for a restaurant they are meaning JOEY shipyards ratings not reflective of this amazing place.

My fries with my meal came out really salty, when the waitress came and asked how our food was. I had mentioned the fries were really salty. She told me that she'll send out another order. I told her not to worry about it. After about 10mins someone brings us a new side of fries. After i received the bill and paid it. I noticed that I had been charged for that side. I was quite disappointed and it was to late for me to say anything because we are already on our way. Overall the place is nice but with this experience I will not be returning.

Hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life honestly. The kids that work there are highly professional given their young age, I am impressed. So glad this location is doing well in these hard times nice to see the crowds!

Great servers always, vax cards were checked thoroughly and was able to have a drink at the bar while waiting for a table. Sushi cones and lettuce wraps are great, burgers though are thin greasy little patties, clearly not hand made patties, disappointing.

Have gone twice now and waited 30+ mins in line to get up to the front for them to tell us they have another hour and a half wait to get certain sizes. They only have 6 pairs of skates for each size. It was not even busy but that was the wait time because of this. I can’t imagine what it would be when it is busy. Only go if you have your own skates!

Adorable place to wander around and grab something to eat. It reminds me a little of a very small Granville island, if that helps! There are so many options and just one sea bus away from downtown so very easy to access if you don't have a car!

Nice covered outdoors spot with seating. Good spot to meet up with friends during the pandemic crazy times to at least socialize and see each other from a distance. Surround shops have food and coffee, nice place to sit. Lots of seating! Went on a sunny day in Mar 2021.

BRING SKATES!! For winter ice skating, the rentals booth has limited sizes, it's a really good idea for you to find rental skates someplace else than to rely on this location to provide them. Otherwise, it's a great little area for families and dates.

Came here for ice skating. Website says 50% capacity, but no one was enforcing that. Website also says face masks mandatory, but also no one was enforcing that. The rental staff also don't ask for identification or any sort of deposit to ensure their rentals get returned ????‍♂️ I guess the city must have a very good source for used skates or really high property taxes lol. Overall, fun place to be in the winter or summer. Love what they've done with the place. Yolo LoLo
