I was just in there today and both the sales associate and manager greeted me with smiles and were beyond helpful. Even though there were other clients in the store I was not forgotten. I’ve never had a bad experience in this store which makes me question the specifics of an early review. I love the atmosphere and the honesty of the staff. They are not just trying to make a sale, they are trying to make you happy.

I’m actually really upset after leaving LaSenza today. I usually love going in there. I went in with a friend and she was looking at the top shelf which are mediums and one of the workers who had dark hair with bangs I think, a little older with glasses was like “extra smalls are the drawer below” and my friends like “um, im a medium” Then right after I was looking through the XS drawer and the same worker goes “oh you need help? Mediums are up top” and I told her no I’m an extra small That is so rude And to be shocked right after? Excuse me? like how inconsiderate can you be to customers? We know our bodies and our sizes, if we needed help we’d ask.

I’ve been into the La Senza in Sault Ste Marie a couple of times and I can honestly say it’s never been a positive one. The sales associates are pushy, they clearly only care about commission and sales, and they don’t let you shop in peace. I recently went in because it is one of the only options in town and I needed to try things on, and I think it will be the last time for me. I’m used to the bad, heavy handed service coming alongside shopping there, but I truly believe I won’t go back to that location again. To walk in with headphones, simply wanting to shop for myself and be alone, only to be bombarded with questions and pressure from associates is crossing the line for me. Then to make snide remarks like “you’re doing my job for me” when I’m clearly just there for myself is inappropriate. Not to mention whilst being asked if anyone helped me today, the lady who made that snide remark commented that it was her sale. So unprofessional.

Yesterday morning one of your associates asked me if I need help. I politely declined due to the fact that I did not need her help. She proceeded to follow me around the entire store and make me feel extremely uncomfortable. Explaining to me the type of underwear I was picking out, again I told her I was fine. I've never had such an uncomfortable experience and if you know which associate was working maybe you can ask her to allow customers to have some privacy while shopping for intimate items.

I’m commenting on the manager’s handling of my exchange today. I washed some recently purchased underwear and they ended up shrinking. I brought them in fully expecting to be turned away, but after some questions she was happy to help me out. She even said she would be happy to help me out the next time I was in, pleasantly surprising.
