The woman who did my nails was not polite and seemed very irritated that I changed my mind on colours BEFORE she applied it. She gave me huge attitude and threatened to take all my colour off. Just because I had feedback and comments about the shape of my nail. I was polite to her but no tip ! Nails are pretty but I will try another salon.

Cut my skin on two fingers, bleeding. Nails are super thick, and square, I asked for coffin shape. She used a glow in the dark top coat, without asking, after I expressed that I was getting my nails done for my wedding. She knew I was upset and gave me $15 off, but I left after 2 hours, unsatisfied.

The women I was dealing with was pleasant and accommodating. She triple checked everything all through the process and did my nails exactly how I asked. $50 for Bio gel nails and a gel polish.

This place was a mess. English was extremely limited. Asked for a manicure, which i have only had one before. She was always talking in asian to her other workers, and said all of two words to me. When i asked her to smooth the tops of my nails due to ridges, she had no clue, and the other guy said it was normal. Ugh, no, i do my own smoothing at home, and after she used a rough spinning emery type tool, they were completely rough. They did not end up smooth at all. My friend i was with said that was the fastest manicure she has ever seen, and it was terrible. I had to go home and smooth the ends of my nails too as they were very rough. This was a BASIC service. My friend liked her gel nails with design, but looking for basic manicure-don't go

Got my nails done yesterday... Very disappointed, they did a terrible job. Not to mention I had to wait 30 mins until they even looked at the nail polish color. Her work was ugly looking and cheap feeling, thanks alot for the happy birthday ????????‍♀️????????‍♀️ acrilic nails don't cover my natural nail...

I went here with my five year old daughter for her birthday and not only did they destroy my hands, but hers too. Most of the staff didn't speak English and when they aren't working on nails, none of them clean the place, it's disgusting. Twee is by far the worst one there. She did my daughter's nails and she cut three of her fingers, when my daughter started crying, Twee slapped her hands and then proceeded to fill the cuts with nail polish. By the end if our nail appointment, we were left with sloppy, unprofessional nails. My daughter ended up with an infection on her thumb that lasted for over a week. They charged $120 for them to mutilate my child and myself. I will NEVER go here again.

if you're looking for a relaxing spa-like experience this is not the place for you. However if you want a quick set of nails then this is your spot! They don't speak English well but they do a great job on your nails. The girl who did mine was patient and particular. I would definitely recommend this place!

Extremely unimpressed with the service. The man doing my nails was creepy, and I couldn't understand him because of his accent, but I do believe he was hitting on me. The place was dirty, unkept, tools weren't cleaned between customers. I paid $55 for bio gel nails, which are pretty durable and within a day they started PEELING off. The other employees were rude, and always talking in what I assumed was Chinese, which I have learned they do to talk about you, without you knowing. And has made me consider learning Chinese. Would not return.

The lady who did my nails cut me several times and when I moved my hand away she would roughly pull it back and the drying machine were like extremely hot I couldn't put my hand on the bottom I wouldn't recommend to anyone

Rush job. Nails were cut unevenly and not filed out. Polish is uneven. No base coat. Still have roughly spots on my feet. No debit machine. Not going back.

Horrible service. The guy kept cutting my skin!! Even every time ive went before, hes done it. Idk his name but hes the older one. They should be lucky i even paid. I got my sisters nails done there n the polish chipped off a couple hours later! This nail salon sucks so bad!! I will not be going back. Will never recommend this unsanitary and awful service nail salon to ANYONE!

Just had my nails done at this salon for the first time and I know I will be back again. This place is run exactly as it should be for all the nail salons; excellent work done (my nails were done expertly), friendly atmosphere, reasonable prices, and just an all around place to be.Highly recommended.

Would never go back. Arrived and asked if I had an appointment. I said 3pm and then the lady started talking oriental at her co- worker. 15 minutes later the same lady asked me again if I had an appointment to which I repeated yes for 3pm. She asked me what I wanted done. I told her. She then looked at the lady to my left who had just arrived and said I take you. I was left standing there. After a half an hour of going through this process I will never go back.

I've had the older woman do my nails now 2 times. Both times she took her time to even attend to me while no one else was waiting. I asked for coffin and she gave me square nails that angled to my real nail. When I asked her to fix it she had no idea what I was talking about. The acrylic was no longer on my actual nail and 4 nails were visibly showing. I asked if I would have to file my own nail down once it grew out.. and she said yes! So disappointing when you have to pay $50

My friend and I went to get our nails done here and it was a good experience for me but not so much for my friend. Her nails were crooked and they started falling off after one week. Also the cost just to get acrylic nails was a little pricey.

Super bad and painful experience. The man who did my nails (pedicure) was extremely rough, digging under my nails to the point of making me wince in pain. The place is also filthy . We were rushed out without getting a chance for our nails to dry. Never again.

My nails are barely what I wanted, they rushed the whole time and then to top it all off they overcharged us ☺️ Their board said $40 and the guy that did my sisters nails told her $40 but then the lady doing mine(she seemed to be in charge) charged me $50 FOR THE EXACT SAME THING! Never ever going back 10/10 do not recommend

Hit or miss place. Have cut my cuticles a few times to the point where they have bled. Other times they've turned out great. I guess it all depends who is working. Fast service, don't usually have to wait too long.

My experience at Cali Nails was less than enjoyable. My friend and I are not from North Bay and needed our nails done. Cali Nails was convenient at the mall, but the service was not great. Both of our shellac manicures were completely sloppy, and began peeling within 24 hours. Would not recommend.
