I went to Dollar Tree there and was one of the best ones that I went in Vancouver. The store has a lot of products and with a lot of options. I recommend very much Dollar tree on this place. The place is very noise though.

Just by the Dollar store, there is a nice play area for kids. Whenever I have my niece with me, we always stop by the play area for her to play with other kids.

A fair share of things here, great theater (Landmark) good noodles, great poutine place, a bank, a grocery store, and a couple restraunts/bars. A good place on the transit line to get things done. Down side is the noise from the trains, and the layout is not easy to figure out for first timers.

A decent sushi place and pizza place are in there along with the Tim Hortons and upstairs there's a fresh slice and the movie theater of course is there a bank and Safeway actually I think there's two Banks

All parking is paid and couldn't pay for just 30 mins. Felt ripped off considering I just needed to run some errands. Parking lot had very low ceilings and made me nervous driving an SUV

So much Character is in the Unique downtown of New Westminster. The shops have an old iconic look to them due to being the "Hollywood-North" of North America. Filming for movies and tv shows is a regular occurrence throughout New Westminster.

Awesome little stop over at New Westminster Skytrain Station. Pick up groceries at Safeway, go for a workout at the gym, watch the latest movies in super comfy power reclining seats at Landmark Cinema, and there's a couple pubs, dessert, fast food... And you don't even have to cross a street. Then, continue on your route to where you need to go.

Shops are alright... some OK food spots but it has a bad garbage smell at certain times of the day and there are a few crazies that hang around there making the over all feeling a little uneasy.

There are many small stores and restaurants here, but not many catch my eye. Some of the places I frequent are: Safeway, AKD restaurant (by the bus stop), and A&W. The Mexican place is also good.

The stores are great but the property management seems to just be doing the bare minimum maintenance that the city asks for. Although it does seem like it's getting a bit better. Would be nice if those escalators were working. The ones by the gym haven't been on in over a year

Lots of small and large department shops in one place! Easy to find parking and reasonable prices. Do yourself a favour and check out Spud Shack. They have the best poutine I've had since visiting Ontario & Quebec!

This location is great because it is right outside of the SkyTrain. You could go to the movies, shop for groceries, grab a quick bite to eat and a few other things. The only downside is the stores on the upper level seem to go out of business (i.e cell phone store) other than that worth checking out

I love the stores and shop them quite often for the convenience but I am so tired of seeing people smoking inside the plaza. I've reached out to TransLink and they say it's a by-law issue. I wonder if or when the city of New Westminster is going to address this issue with something other than "no smoking" signs.

This mall is kinnda dirty. They have a play place for kids that's right in top of the sky train so you can hear it when its coming and its soo loud. They could have placed the play place somewhere more convenient don't ya think. The movie theater is marvelous but the way up there is NOT. I recommend taking the elevator instead of the stars because the stars is a perfect place for homeless people to go pee and it smells DISGUSTING!

It's gone down hill the past few years. The pigeons are out of control at this time. Droppings all over the place. It doesn't help when a few locals are seen feeding them right near Skytrain and the bus loop. And then there's all the smokers, which the "security" does nothing about. The small playground ofter has the aroma of pot. Just what I want my toddler inhaling.

If you don't have a credit card, you can't park at all. Station is filthy, really dark, smells bad, and the train is SO LOUD every 2 minutes. There are good foo foo options, but honestly this place isn't with going to.

With the huge variety of shops here, there is little reason to go elsewhere. Groceries, Pharmacy, Bank, Dollar Store and lots of Food Services too. Not to mention the multi screen Theatre, Fitness Centre and the Pub / Private Liquor Store too.

I really like how they have developed this location. Its a hub for a lot of people who commute to and from work so its great to have Safeway, Shoppers, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, etc. Security does not look very capable and does not fill me with confidence that I'm safer when they are there, but its not that bad of an area. There are some panhandlers and drug addicts around but they never seem to act up. Its pretty loud when a train passes by, but it manageable. Its a very convenient space and I like it.

Truly one stop shopping. Grocery store, Shoppers Drug Mart, restaurants, and a movie theater. A major sky train station and a bus depot will take you to and from other shopping areas easily and quickly.

Very convenient shopping center since its right off the New West dkytrsin station platform including a great Safeway, Dollarama,Tim Hortons, RBC, Subway,DonIr Dude, Freedom mobile and numerous little restaurants. Last a great theater with great deals throughout the week with recliner seats in every theater ???? ????

Quite a few good shops in here. There's a safeway for groceries, which isn't the cheapest but at least it's there. Good bakery inside. There's pizza, sushi, and basically every unhealthy convenience food you can put into your body. Many shops have opened and failed, but it looks like some have stuck. The pub Hops is decent, pretty good during happy hour. Old Spaghetti Factory is also good value for your money.

There are some interesting restaurants here and it's very convenient to pick up food at a sky train station. There is a kids play area which is great to have but it's pretty dirty, especially the carpet. The place is quite dark and drab, not clean over all. It could use some brightening up. It's not too easy to navigate with a stroller but it is possible.

The mall itself is pretty good, its nice that it is both sheltered and outdoors. There are quiet a few options for shopping and food to choose from. There is a little play pen in the middle for the kids to play in, though I don't know how long you would want to keep your children here due to the train. The skytrain passing through the mall (which is enclosed) creates a rather clamorous noise that could not be good for your hearing. The design of the area is more of an echo chamber. There needs to be more to muffle the sound, especially if you have a play pen for children.

For a Skytrain Station, it's AWESOME. For a place to shop... It's good, but not great. I like all the stores & restaurants, the fact that there's a movie theatre attached to it, the inexpensive parking & very helpful security guards. However, It's extremely loud BECAUSE it's a skytrain station. If you're trying to have a conversation with someone, be prepared to be interrupted every 5 minutes or so. It's outdoor, but covered quite well. Still, it can get pretty cold during late Fall & Winter; and if there's a strong wind while it's raining, getting wet is sort of unavoidable. I'm sure most would agree, it's much nicer during the warmer season(s). I like the idea of the little toddler play area, but my 2 year old just kept freaking out about the noise whenever a train went by overhead. It feels like a lot of this place is good in theory, but no so much in reality. All that being said, I still wholeheartedly believe this place has the best movie theatre in the Lower Mainland. And if you don't mind the noise, it's super convenient & has just about everything you could need/want to buy in one location.

A small partly open but covered mall with a variety of sisters including a cheap movie theater, Safeway and other stores. Lots of parking that can be discounted if purchasing from Safeway or the movie theater

Unfortunate that the parking went up in price and not enough stores validate parking, but very happy with the ones that do (thank you!). Parking spots are narrow, beware parking in 2 hour only spots, many SUVs, many door chips- and my car isn't wide.

I always need to be in the area because I take public transit it would be a better rating if you werent asked by 50 people for change, cigarettes etc. I think there should be a larger security presence so people dont have to be insulted and harrassed when you have nothing to give them

HUB pub has a great list of various craft beers and cider as well as a bar cocktails. The food is barely ok. Located 50 feet from New Westminster skytrain on the concourse. Great opportunity to not drink and drive. Landmark cinema along with several other services and shops around.

A great new shopping, eating, and entertainment complex within the heart of Downtown New Westminster. Includes Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart, Landmark Cinemas, Subway, Tim Horton's, two Starbucks, Fresh Slice Pizza, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Dollar Tree, A&W, etc., etc.. A great place to spend the afternoon and/or evening with your family. Lots of parking space if you're coming by car (1 hour free, $1 for three hours), and extremely convenient if you're coming by Skytrain or by bus---since it is built around the New Westminster Skytrain station and bus loop. It includes two floors of retail, and services such as a dental office, a beauty salon, a spa, a flower shop, and even a college offering courses in special effects for movies, TV, and commercials. It currently is already about 2 thirds occupied with some 40 shops and services, with about 20 units still available for leasing.

This is a weird 'Mall' since it's a part of New Westminster Station, the trains go by constantly and there isn't much to do unless you're a teen hanging out between the Tim's and the Old Spaghetti Factory. Safeway is here though and a dollar store. So I guess that's a positive. It's okay for a 'Mall'.

I had room to use my walker through the store, which was good. If I was wanting party supplies, they have alot. I didn't find what I wanted, they had kitchen cupboard ,plastic food storage containers..but I wanted larger bins to hold books, dvds , towels. They only had 2 choices of brooms, a push broom and a fuzzy sweeping broom. I'll have to look elsewhere.

Landmark Cinemas have the most comfortable seats at this location! I understand that they've put in loungers at all the locations, but this is the main one I frequent. Staff is friendly, movie selections are great, and the theatre isn't normally packed to the brim or feels crowded!

Noisy when the trains run through. Can be cold on a windy day, seems it gets funneled through. But a solid choice of stores throughout, good variety. Movie theatre. Interesting layout for kids to explore, albeit with parents. For a thrill stand on the bridge above the trains as one goes by.

As far as SkyTrain stations go, this one is pretty great. Lots of good shops. The private Liquor store on the ground level off 8th Ave. Has a great selection of beer. Some of the businesses will reimburse you for an hour of parking, including Safeway.

My favourite one stop shop for dinner and a movie, a great place to pick up groceries (Safeway) and has both of my banks as well. If only I lived in new west, this would be my go to place for most errands, as it stands, I go here for date nights and when I want some really good poutine.

I hope that when the pandemic is over, the stores will start working again, that students and customers will return to the restaurants, fast food, it's a very good place to visit and there are Safeway, shoppers and mobile stores close. Douglas College and Old Spaghetti Factory are close too.

This is a great facility. Everything is available in one location. However, today I tried to help someone who had passed out in front of the Shoppers Drug Mart. I had asked an employee to call security when I went into the store. He was standing but looked to be in incredible pain. When I came out of the store 10 minutes later, he was passed out with his pants around his knees. After trying to revive him, I had to call an ambulance. Where was security? Do you not have cameras everywhere around there? Does security realize there are toxic drugs circulating and he could have been dying? Get it together, guys. And please do something about the pigeon poop. It's so disgusting.

Not a bad theater here, landmark cinemas with a modern interior. Closest other options are Metrotown or Coquitlam in that regard. Safeway is pretty fairly priced for individual items but forget doing a large shop there. Also not bad for stopping by quickly to pick up a coffee, gas two Starbucks and a Tim Hortons, though the Starbucks are rather inaccessible, one inside Safeway other on second floor.

This is a small but convenient place to shop and eat. It is a skytrain station. It has a lot of restaurants to choose eg. Old spaghetti factory，Tim Horton, Japanese sushi and Chinese Noodle House. And also a theater, Safeway, shopper drugs Mart, etc.

I asked an employee about the price of one item and she didnt have any clue of what customer service is. She literally answered my question with disgust and in a hurry and swaying her hand around to let me know that everything in the store is priced for $1.25 each. I also work in a retail environment and I always make sure that I engage and connect to the customers and to get a treatment like this is really disappointing . To the manager of this store you should have a huddle with all your associates regarding customer service, it will help your employees to like their jobs.

AKD Kitchen, a wonderful place to tuck in to traditional Japanese Ramen. Like most Ramen shops they offer "Kae dama" or extra noodles if you are still hungry. Be prepared to pay extra if you're really hungry because 1 bowl is never enough. Also try to expand your regular diet and try their weekly curry dish. You will find a larger portion to fill you up if you are on the hungrier side. Licking the bowl clean, though discouraged...is a sign of respect if you're a kid!

The variety of shops makes this a very convenient stop: restaurants, coffee shops, dollar stores, grocery store, cinema and underground pay parking (low clearance) via credit card only. Best to Skytrain or bus in or out.

I come here mainly for landmark cinemas. For 12$ even on opening days the price of movie tickets can't be beat and they have lounge chairs for every cinema. It's easier to see a blockbuster movie on opening day here and if you go before 2pm sometimes shows are only 9$

It's a great idea to have restaurants, groceries and convenience stores right at the train station. I can get whatever I need right before heading home.

I shop at the Safeway sometimes and love their hot food counter. It is a bit pricey but totally worth it. They have warm Chinese food and bbq chicken legs. The quality of the produce and the meats at Safeway is top notch.

Thumbs up to landlord, security and the police who keep this location safe and clean. I shop at the Safeway, and use the SkyTrain at this location. For the most part its clean and safe. I think the Tim Hortons at this location takes its customers for granted, alot of times the location will have a line 15-20 deep and have just 4-5 staff on hand. The franchise owner should be ashamed of themselves, that they would treat a great Canadian brand, and a great location this way.

Back in the day this Skytrain stop was better than Granville. Restuarants, fresh food, less crowded... Now thing have changed. It is a craft fair mall literary and at best. The area around the Skytrain is better. Try Chronic Taco etc about a block away.

Hop on the sky train to New Westminster and check out The Plaza. Lots of commercial places including grocery, bank, Cinema, restaurants and close to the waterfront. Plenty to see, eat and walking options galore

Lots of people use it as a smoking pit all over the place even though there is no smoking signs all over. The no smoking rule is never enforced in this shopping center, Concord security at this place is pathetic. I will never return even though spudshack is very good there. Also I will never go back just to get on the train either. I will bus to a different station.

Love this 'mall' at the Skytrain station. Only confusing thing is the walkway and stairs to the eastbound trains. I love the choices here; Safeway, Dollar Store, pizza, Asian dollar store - they have great electronics & personal items ( shampoos, soap, etc,) some articles of clothing - just a great crazy mix; bank, vape store, etc. Wish I lived closer but when in New West I do make a point to stop in to see what's new.

It's right off the SkyTrain. There's a Safeway, miniso, and a number of restaurants in the area within a one kilometer radius. On a nice sunny day, you can walk around the quay. Buses are not as frequent as the ones by commercial Broadway but they're more comfortable as they're the community buses

We visited this plaza and went to north noodle house. It has access to multiple places. There is safeway, dollar stores, tim hortons, few restaurants, ardene, convienient stores, landmark cinema, h&r block and many other stores... its quite convienient for anyone who doesnt have car. Its all on a skytrain station. Nice place to get all chores done on way to commute.

Lots of stores with very convenient Skytrain access. The noise from the Skytrains can be quite unbearable sometimes though, but I guess that's the problem with having a train run through a mall.

A decent, relatively new, Skytrain-generated mini mall. The Safeway is pretty new and quite attractive, and Dollar Tree has somewhat different merchandise than it's more ubiquitous competitor. Add a spacious, modern Timmy's, and we're there!

The shops are very average. It's handy if you get off at this train station but I personally wouldn't make a journey out there just to go shopping

There's places to eat and shop, and of course the Landmark cinema. Plus there's more places to shop in the area surrounding the centre. Since the Sky train runs right through it, it's best to arrive by sky train.

Meh... If you don't have to get off here, just stay in the train for another 2 stations and go to either Sapperton, Edmonds, or Surrey Central. Stores are normally run down at New West. Other than that, there is unfortunately lots of homelessness in the area and heavy drug abuse.

Chunk 2

A growing block of New Westminster that houses many of the necessities and amenities for daily life. Attached to the SkyTrain and Movie Theatres, it's an all in one location and getting better all the time.

Plenty of great shopping spots. And could use some fast food restaurants. One asian chicken restaurant. I will never go back to and not recommend it to anyone. First the prices are to high and second there is dmall church's of sharp broken bones in the cut up pieces of boneless chicken.

I walk past everyday. Every day is see drug addicts shooting up people sleeping and drinking on the benches. At night on my way home I frequently see people sleeping in stairwells. When you see something there is no number for security anywhere so myself and other bystanders have broken up a fight. If you have the option of here or somewhere else, go anywhere else. Update. They change the rules 3 months ago and we can no longer walk our 6 year old dog 9ver the over pass because security refuses to let animals through when one side of the street is full of people and the other is closed for construction. Thanks for coming in and making life harder for us during a global pandemic.

Very good mall for Skytrain travelers. The enclosed shopping mall that people really embraced from the 1970's and 1990's has lost its appeal over time. There are now a lot of shopping blocks that consist of stores grouped together rather than one indoor mall. This is a case of a mall where you get the closeness of stores you'd find at an indoor mall with the fresh air of the outdoors. There are food court-styled restaurants that have their own indoor sitting area and there are a lot of stores and businesses connected. Even a movie theatre and some fine dining restaurants added to the complex. This is a great addition to what was a rutty area at one period of time long before.

This place has undergone massive changes over the years for the better. Restaurants, a cinema, banks and a Safeway call this home. Very convenient for commuters to grab a bite or buy groceries on the way home. Cool!

A lot of great shops. The kids play area is great for rainy days as it has heaters hanging from the ceiling which keeps the area warm while the kids are playing. Landmark cinema, starbucks, tim hortons, 2 banks, Safeway, A&W, shoppers drug mart, fresh slice, dollar tree and many more shops. So convenient to grab random things on the way home as the skytrain is on the second level and many bus routes on the ground level. The only down side is the escalators are constantly breaking down so of u can't walk the stairs you need to wait for an elevator.

Great little area of new west to grab something to eat just off of the Skytrain - very convenient. Only thing I would recommend is if there could be some more public washrooms. I'm not aware of any public washrooms in here in general. There are some washrooms in some of the restaurants but for customers only.
