This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
This mall needs to be open longer and on holidays, there is a lot in there just never open, after 5 or Sundays
Dental is amazing here. But no stores really and the stores that are there are 1500 for a dress haha...
It's a mall. It has stores. If you like shopping then you might like this mall.
Always shop super stores
Unique place, it's very convenient! Great place to check out for shopping. Hotels are there, food, entertainment.
A once classy mall gets emptier with each visit. Shame for Saint John.
Great,but no free parking daytime.
It's like they don't want tenants.
Mall is walking steps to the ocean. Nice and clean mall.
Hardly any stores are open. Sad to see all the closures. It used to be a nice shopping mall .
I was surprised to see a mall in such an urban setting and impressed with how big it felt once inside. Granted the decor could use some updating. I ended up staying overnight at the Delta.
The remaining shops in Brunswick Square are good, but the selection seems to diminish regularly as many stores are closing their doors (without much in the way of replacement options)
Minus a new store addition which is great the venue is an empty shell. Apparently, the Ontario based Reir running it likes to close businesses versus having a premier space full of retail tenants.
Nice but needs more stores to replace empty spots.
Id say about half the mall is open and operating at regular capacity. Still for my needs that is fine, Tim's and the post office are normal hours.
One of the most beautiful malls I've ever seen
I travel to Saint John, New Brunswick, often with work, and stay in this area. The Brunswick Square has most everything you'll need. From hotel, Goodlife gym, great swimming pool, hot tub ( also has hotel fitness center) and shopping mall. All under one roof!
Very empty mall but it has shops to wander and food to eat and is connected to the hotel
Brunswick square is a great mini mall with a lot of great shops and boutique in it.
Nice around the holidays. Food court is good but the shops are too small or overpriced. Except for little shop of science. That place is incredible
Nice clean mall. Seems well maintained.
It's a nice spot for uptown shopping but there are a lot of empty shops right now. I frequent Coles Books, Lawton's Drug, and nearly all of the food spots on a regular basis.
Just an okay mall. High prices lack of stores same as any other mall... Maybe worse. Was better back when it had starbucks a Mondello salon (though there is still a salon on the 3rd floor if youwant to pay an arm and leg)
The mall is ok the third level is empty with no stores. Food court is great and not really much to see except book store.
Wish there were more stores, but what is there is very nice. Some are one of a kind.
Awesome shopping place with multiple businesses available for everyone. Really great looking environment and very clean as well as excellent customer service ????
Great selection of food in their food court. Relaxing atmosphere.
Brunswick square is another spot that has a huge list of opportunities along with many more helpful functions
Its suffocated and you won't find variety
It's a nice mall and if you are just killing a little time it's good for that.
Unfortunately not much left in that mall. Mainly a corporate complex now.
So many empty storefronts. Not sure how much longer this place will exist. For the few retail businesses that are open they seem to be busy. There is a nice antique shop, a few restaurants.(food court style), drug store and a couple of sit down restaurants and a drugstore plus a handful of other retailer shops. Unfortunately malls are struggling all over North America and this is a prime example.
Awesome 0lace to shop and visit.very friendly people through out the square!!!
Nice quiet shopping district.
Was a busy shopping mall at one time.Adding new stores one at a time There is a new opening on street level. Its getting lots of interest.Friendly informative staff.Items change on a daily basis, and u can sell your own personal items also for a commission.Beautiful selection/variety of things. Some cost only $2-$3. A MUST SEE. It's called" My City Life".
Really like an Urban mall. There are many shops for shoping..and also there are many restaurant for eating food and entertainment
On life support, this once thriving center of quality business uptown is now a ghost town.????️ ????️
Good mall for the town Just need to make more activities especially in summer I don’t know what going in with some stores that closed and out of business In general it’s good mall clean and friendly staff
Some empty spaces but still good for uptown. Would have been 3 but the parking on the bottom 3 levels is still closed making it hard for anyone coming here.
Nice place to get a bite to eat and go shopping
Nice shops but the 3rd floor is almost empty. Been this way for decades.
Had a nice visit to this mall and was surprised at how many stores there are. Enjoyed the wide selection and it made for a good afternoon of shopping. A good selection of dining opportunities in the food court with lots to chose from. Would recommend for an afternoon or to stop in if visiting.
Nice, clean place to visit. Some interesting stores. To bad there was so many closed down stores.
I hope the building attracts more retailers soon. The building space is otherwise very nice.
Most of the shops are closed. Seems mostly used for the food court or to get to other places via the pedway.
They do their best but the demise if brick and mortar is too evident here
There is absolute nothing in this mall anymore. It's sad. They just keep increasing the rent, and places can't afford to rent there anymore. It'd be nice to see some of the stores that we have in McAllister place also have a location uptown, or even some local businesses. Unfortunately, the managers of Brunswick square don't think about supporting our local economy, just about the money going in their pockets.
A few good shops, some empty places and insurance and other less useful places.
Not much here for shopping any more. Some specialty stores that are worth going to if you are looking for something specific but not a place I would go out of my way to visit.
Not much there very few stores evrything closed
Best place to go in Uptown Saint John for a variety of local and unique shopping and tastes. Always decorated beautifully for holidays.
A few unique retailers in amongst many empty spaces. There's also some missing categories (electronics, for example).
Half empty.. Kind of depressing to be honest. Has a few stores and places to eat, but this isn't an incredible mall by any standard.
Security guards paranoid that people hang around too much.....it's a mall ok get a life.
Great place to take a stroll
Many empty stores, the two stares are only for the awesome childrens store and the ultra friendly tim hortons
Very sad indeed that such a large shopping complex is so empty. Visitors to our fair city must find it strange. To allow so many of the available store spaces to stand empty discourages people from wanting to shop there. I expect that the museum and library are the main draws, as are the food courts for the working people and students. I find it difficult to fathom why the owners cannot fill the spaces in a spot that is so central to everything. Parking is obviously a problem. It is too bad as it is a building bathed in sunlight and with beautiful views. Someone is doing a poor job of selling the potential of the complex and perhaps the rents are just too high. ????
I like Brunswick square. It is always clean and there is good veritiy of shops. The shops however and generally bautque and are pricey.
It's dieing, but I love it there.
The smell is very bad in the food court because of the frying from different restaurants .. free wifi
I just love the feeling anytime I'm here. Great parking provision here too.
Great place to get a lot of shopping done. Also, the attached Delta hotel has nice conference rooms for parties and the bedrooms offer nice views of uptown.
Closed when we were there, next time maybe
Clean and we'll taken care of. Just wish for more variety of stores and better prices at the stores they do have. Especially when it is not "tourist season" I don't imagine there are tonnes of people who would pay $28 for a T-shirt
Great shopping...yoga store, books , clothing, eatery..Shoe store, purses , bags, jewelry,.Coffee, Candy and a lot more!!!
Beautiful place and beautiful weather. Lots of food choices
One of the many shopping areas in Saint John where you can just about anything. I usually wander around between the connected shopping areas and food courts, to pick up my daily needs. Then somehow end up in the library in the Market Square to find books to read.
We visited Saint John last year and fell in love with this beautiful city and places like Brunswick Square contribute to the city's vibrancy. It is full of shops that will provide you with practically anything you are in need or in search off. Close to the Waterfront in Downtown, the place includes clean Public Restrooms. From food courts, to bookstores, to clothing stores, its got it all.
Nice 3 level mall with hotel and food court very well maintained
It is a mall connected to offices. a gym, and suicide.
This is a zombie mall. Almost entirely vacant except for some professional and health offices. It's actually spooky when you can walk in and go up two levels to a dental office and not see another living person.
- Lots of empty stores. + a great place to get a treat or lunch on a rainy day.
Lots of restaurants and shops. But kind of empty. But place is well maintained and worth visiting
Excellent n nice place calm n quite I enjoy a lot too good n beautiful views I like to visit every week InshaAllah
Power was out, all the good stores are gone anyway. Will buy lotto tickets elsewhere.
Needs better stores, has alot of potential
What a special journey through the streets of Saint John, foggy, damp, slightly raining, no one to be seen, 1st ones in a small espresso shop, the Salmon art forms were what peaked my interests being a Salmon lover
Standard below ground mall. You could be in any city. Not as bad as big box developments, but still... generic.
Great place for shops but there isn't much in there anymore
There isn't anything to do or really shop at in this mall
Large shopping area with many stores and restaurants. Most stores were closed due to Canadian Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.
Part of the pathway from the docks to King Square and the Market. Great for shopping and staying dry and exercise for walking seniors. A large parking structure is attached.
Granan's. Lovely chowder and fish tacos! Highly recommend it. Very good service!
Another cute quaint mall that's dragged down by how many closed and empty stores there are
I wasn't the best ,
This place has become a ghost town for shopping
The stores in the mall are ok, but the mall itself closes "except for walkthrough" after 6pm and you will get kicked out of there for using the WiFi. Not very hospitable.
It's just so pretty lol that's all I ever say when I'm uptown in this mall downfall there is always an escalator being worked on. This could just be really productive maintenance up keep but seems to happen a lot.
A central and very important location, this once beautiful mall has been poorly managed and unsupported by its owner's for years. While so many others have been investing in their properties and improving our city centre, not Brunswick Square (they spent millions last decade on putting red brick on the outside facade and installing three sets of doors at the entryway, making sense to no one). Apparently under new ownership, the new owners would need to spend tens of millions to bring this facility back to decency. It's got a great 1960s design, a very cool glass elevator, glass ceiling atrium, and a once-great hotel that is also falling apart. I hope the new owners can bring this place back. It's important to Saint John and we need it to be great again!
Not a huge selection of stores but offers a bit of variety and is centrally located. Hotel is attached and close to City Market and other amenities,
Terrible hours and half empty. Embarrassing for an uptown shopping center; should be open late with high end pubs and upscale shopping.
Sadly poor management has toppled this once busy uptown shopping centre. Now it merely a ghost mall.
Clean but all stores are living price to high
Shops are vacating this place due to what seems to be a changing business model on the part of the owners of the property, and the elevators smell like vomit.
It's just too bad the Landlords of this building would rather hike rent than keep consistent store fronts. I think this could be a fantastic mall.
Beautiful place. The cruise ship just docked and it was very busy. Lots of restaurants and shopping. A must see.
100% not enough stores and very boring
If your not going Cora's or the dentist there's basically nothing in there
A lot of empty spaces but a few good finds as well
Nice place to walk around
A typical Brutalist commercial development probably built in the 1970s. Every Canadian city seems to have something similar. At least it is in good condition.
There is hardly anything there anymore. A lot of places have closed shop and a lot of the stores are empty.
I was using the pedway to get from point A to point B. I enjoy walking through this mall and the attached walkways. Purchased some snacks ???? on the way.
It used to be an amazing Mall where you could eat and shop, but now it’s going downhill.
Such a great place to shop, browse, meet, and take shelter from the rain in
Good Wi-Fi all kinds of different stores available really good hoursand the tracks are very trendy crowd especially tourist I highly recommend this location for anybody looking for some really cool stuff for shopping everything you can imagine is here they have a food court jewellery store fast food chains.I really enjoy this location and I love shopping here and I highly recommend anybody who is looking for a wide variety of places to eat in different boutique some places to shop to check out this location at Brunswick Square.
Picking up food
A peaceful place with a nice garden in the middle
The only mall in uptown Saint John. Literally nothing but the gym is open after 6 PM. Not the best place to kill time.
Great place to do a little shopping if you are uptown during business hours
Such a nice space. No stores to fill them. Way too many empty rental spaces. Pretty sad. ????
Covid-19 had a really negative impact on this shopping centre. Most of the stores are now closed. I just hope they will come back once everything is back to normal.
It is very beautiful and clean and has everything you need from banks and shopping
Nice park in city center
Had a very nice tour or the Brunswick Square over the weekend while visiting. A lot of different businesses, very much like Christmas there as well. He's doing a phenomenal job on the tree, it looks amazing. ????
The second level seems to be the only place to shop now as most of the stores are closing. The food court on level 1 only has a few selections all of with are fast food or pizza.
Lovely staff security guards not so much lol.
Like all malls there are a lot of shops gone but there are still some good stores.
Retail selection is weak. Utilized primarily as inside connection. It remains in good upkeep and kept clean. It would appear evident that the retail presence will likely never return to the former days. The food court remains popular, as does Pizza Hut, Lawton's, Coles, and a few others.
Nice and clean. Plenty of shops nearby
Congested area in downtown, we only go here if necessary. But a beautiful part of the city!
Local craft and regular stores, fast food as well.
nice place to hang out with friends or just enjoy some quite time for yourself
Great spot in the uptown area, connected to the city market and market square.
Mall is dead but love the connections to city market and harbour station.Taco place in the mall's foodcourt is really good too!
Nice place just average shopping lots of empty shops
Sadly there is not much there now
I loved Brunswick Square because they could shop a little bit and walk in my Pedway more
Nice lookinh mall but lacks popular stores. No free parking during week days.
My review just wouldn't get posted so I'm just attaching the screenshots
Outdated look. Half empty. Security will kick you out for three months if you sit for longer than 5 mins and are under 20yrs old. Very age discriminatory guards.
Lots of verity to choose from of home made articles to fresh produce.
Prices are way too high for a dollar store as a matter of fact I challenge you to find an item that only cost one dollar. Lady is incredibly rude and if you buy soda from her she makes sure she gets that extra one cent above a dollar, especially if you buy a few. The guy on Germain street runs a much better store, better prices, selection and he’s super friendly. Also only charges one dollar for cans of pop even if you buy 10, but the lady in Brunswick Sq would insist on getting that extra 10 cents. It’s not the money it’s the principle and her poor customer service from someone that obviously hates their job and see’s everyone as suspicious. It’s sad. So avoid Brunswick Sq $$ store in favour of our friendly shop keeper on Germain st.
Nice place...very quiet when we were there
is an excellent spot to take a break and enjoy the day always
What a great place to get fiber ideas and supplies. Great knowledgeable staff and variety of on site classes.
Wonderful place !!! I fell in love with this historical city Saint John.
Very clean and bright with a good variety of services however there are quite a few empty spaces. Parking is a bit of a pain at the moment due to construction on one entrance.
Great uptown mall .wish there was more shop's .I interconnecting pedway system makes it uptown experience more pleasant in bad weather
You can find a great antique store on the first level, called My city life, I had a great shopping experience there. The mall otherwise is empty, hardly any stores are open, probably covid took a number on them.
I go because it has a Coles and is more convenient if I'm already uptown. I hear the clothing stores are good but expensive. ????♂️
Deada$$ no stores left here.
I dont understand why Brunswick Sq and Market Sq are called what they are because Brunswick Sq is closer to the SJ Market. Both these locations have security who are extremely disrespectful to anyone who looks under 20 whether they are doing something wrong or not.
A decent selection of shops and a fairly nice mall overall
Sorry to see it so vacant! Doesn't make our city look good to see so many empty spots in the highest travelled area within the uptown. Tourists will not be impressed.
Nice people but many store are gone
Great uptown atmosphere and eateries as well as shopping
Good selection from food to upscale clothing combined with professional health offices.
This mall is dying. Lots of businesses have closed. Very sad.
Best shopping Mall in old town.
Nothing in the mall except a couple food places, also the security staff are very rude. And looks like a time machine from the 70s. Would not recommend, not worth your time.
Wide open, nice structures, catwalk between the two malls and decorated in local style.
Lots of store variety, close to all amenities, great selection of food options.
Nice little mall near the harbour and connected to Harbour Station via pedway. The museum is here as well as a few restaurants and a pub.
Found stuff I didn't know I wanted
Ideal attached to the Delta Horel. All is there. A good court, Lawtons drug store, clothes, souveniers
The food Cort is pricy unless you want McDonald's where the lineup is why too long
It is sad to see such a nice facility be so empty. Most likely would be a one star; however there is a good food court there. Based on the shops it just is not worth visiting for that purpose. Malls like this in downtown/uptown centers seem to have had their day. Again too bad as this facility seems to be so well maintained.
Beautiful building to shop in. It's the only 3 story mall with escalators in the entire province, but the mall is a ghost town. There is less than 10 stores remaining... all of them really boring ones, such as a yarn shop, or a house decor shop more aimed at the elderly. Very limited food court as well.... this mall needs more than a few new stores to come in.
Worth the visit. From the shops to the history from market to market square. ????
Their juices are very good.
The stores are really great , but the Mall management is crazy , they are booting away all the business away from the Mall ..they are increasing the rent in jan next year upto 7 percent ..Not sure what is happening there .Not sure why city is not looking into this matter .
Lots of stuff all in one place uptown. Very convenient if you're staying at the Delta Marriot. Lots of food options at the food court
Would have enjoyed, but, covid had everything close down.
I was here on Monday at 6pm and everything was closed. It's a shame that the space isn't used to its fullest.
Lovely, central mall. Connected by pedways to the gym/pool, library, market etc. Really an Uptown hub.
Its fun to be in and you have a bunch of inside connections leading you to different places in saint john
Charming with lots of restaurants and shopping to choose from. Great nightlife with live music can be enjoyed while seating on one of many terraces available for food and drinks.
Let's see if they let me post photos on this one
The ever shrinking mall. Like many other malls (at least in the Saint John area) this mall once offered three floors filled with merchants is now showing it's own sign of struggle. More and more store spaces are going dark. Unfortunately, perhaps due to being downtown Brunswick Square also closes earlier then other local malls.
Awesome place to visit when your in saint John, especially if you looking for good meals!!
Small mall but modern and located in city core.
Not a lot left in this gem of a building. We went to Coras up on the 3rd floor for brunch.
Great place however it's sad to see so many stores closing.
Not a good mall at all. Shops are closing up with time. Food court is decent.
Quiet place Food smells great. To bad we already ate. A little bird was by the water fountain, sweet. Made for an interesting visit.
Do they let me post pictures?
A nice little mall but very disappointing how many vacancies
Lots of vacant stores. Does not really cater to the cruise ship tourists.
Has a few good niche shops and a decent food court. Could use an overhaul and update. Currently has way too many vacant shopfronts.
Sad to see so many stores closed
Really enjoyed the shops there
Nice mall. Easy parking right off street.
The mall is almost empty, but on the first level there is My City Life, an antique store, it is a great place to find furniture and unique home decor.
It's as wonderful a mall as always.
No parking and you have to walk 3 miles to get to your room..the beds are extremely hard and worn ouy
It's not like it used to be the only good place in there now a store called My City Life. They sell Antique .
Nice little shops inside with a variety of items and food!
it really is if you are there to be
Great spot, make sure you check out the evening entertainment.
Pretty much empty now. Covid has really hot this mall hard.
Mall is largely empty, with not a whole lot going for it. Security guards are all on a weird power trip, and kick people out for arbitrary reasons, or let alone for ANY reason. These people just power trip for the hell of it it seems. All to “protect” this urban shell of a mall, only a matter of time until it’s completely abandoned
Nice place although there are no much to do there
It was lovely although it's cold in the winter
Sad how empty the place is. Only a few business and services left.
Mall is dying. Half empty have to pay a arm and leg for parking. Parking is free after 6 but the mall shuts down after 6. What mall basicly closes in the evening ?
Brunswick Square beautiful building! 3 levels + goodlife fitness and delta hotel at the top. with escalators and a glass elevator! I'm very sad and disappointed that It's having retail troubles! SAINT JOHN needs to get it together and HELP Brunswick Square BIG TIME!
Friendly stores . Good people . Food court and lots of shops .
Did you know that you can visit the oldest Art Gallery in Canada. While you are there you can find magnificent art pieces from local artists in the Saint John Art Club in Brunswick Square
Architecture is fabulous and remind us of St-John shipbuilding past. In this Covid time, social distancing was not respected by most.
Half empty and early closing. But the dollar store,1st level food court, was opened even on Sunday,It was an oasis in center of Saint John as well as this mall for my family and staffs were very friendly and this store has lots of stuffs with good price.
