Yesterday I went into The Source to buy and HDMI cable, something about which I know next to nothing. I was helped by Nathan, who was incredibly supportive, kind, and really good natured. I left the store after buying the cable and made it all the way home before I realized I had left the cable in the store. When I went back to get it, I learned that Nathan had come running after me to try and give me the cable. I want to thank him here for his kindness and going beyond the call of duty. Thank you, Nathan. You are great ambassador for The Source and for Buying Local. Warmest wishes to you and your team mates at The Source.
Store manager Rosa wouldn't even consider giving me a refund for dried out printer cartridges even though they were proven to be improperly packaged. Way too expensive to begin with. When I bought the cartridges there was a woman there giving an employee the business for something else gone horribly wrong. Be careful here.
This store is very clean and well kept, it's easy to navigate and find things. Taio is wonderful. Very personable and helpful, didn't make me feel rushed or like an inconvenience. He was extremely knowledgable when it came to phone plans, as well as phones and accessories. He made a stressful time much more bearable.

Our phone, which we purchased a month ago, quit working towards end of day. We are in high season in our company and we needed our phone replaced. Not sure we could get down there in time, Rose went beyond the call of duty. She offered to bring up a new replacement phone when she got off work, I told her I would wait. She was here within 15 min. We switched phones and she was on her way. This is EXCELLANT old fashion customer service. This is why buying local is so important. We give The Source lot's of business and this is why. Thank you Rose! You are appreciated.

The worst customer service experienced in Nelson yet. Unacceptable service consistent with every visit here. The employees couldn’t be doing a worse job at even trying to act like they want to assist their customers. While I waited to sort out an issue, I watched customer after customer get such pathetic service that it was actually shocking. The staff acted inconvenienced by each of these customers’ simple requests. One particular fellow actually sighed at an elderly man for asking for help with choosing ear buds and acting extremely rude for the entire interaction. The man was beside himself but remained polite. He also followed no social distancing protocols with customers. The staff stare at the customers coming in, looking at one another waiting for somebody to step up to help the customer, instead of asking how they can assist you - they do not acknowledge until a customer asks for help. I repeatedly watched around 3 customers get frustrated for getting zero assistance and one left the store. They were not busy. I should also mention that I was set up with a completely wrong device on our plan and charged for it for 4 months (tablet setup instead of a cellular setup for an Apple Watch for several months). Turns out the previous employee “messed up” and they couldn’t do anything about it, no credit, and not even in-store credit despite the employee stating that this was a big screw up on behalf of their colleague. How is that acceptable? Instead, they blamed Bell and said there wasn’t much they could do. So I guess I have to pay $85 because their employee set up a non-existing tablet on my account. Pretty ludicrous experience that does not even meet bare minimum of service.

Everything a person needs in a electronic store. Has great cell phones and plans with Lucky mobile, Verizon and of course Bell mobility.

I needed a sim card and Bell refused to sell one. I went to The Source who are also authorized to sell Bell products. They were very helpful and I suggest going there instead of the Bell both. Great service.
Messed up sim card installation. Had to drive an hour to get it fixed at nearest bell store.
They met an amazon price. Worked out to half the tagged price.
Had the digital widget I needed. Solid Covid 19 protocols.
It's got a good location but it's usually far more expensive than any other placf in the area so while it looks great you pay more for the eye candy
I had to go in for some headphones for a birthday present. The salesperson was super pushy asking me for my cell plan provider. I told him we were happy with what we had. He started arguing that the providers they have were better and cost less, asking me how much I pay and not dropping it when I said we were not switching. Another sales person seemed to try to get him to stop but he didn’t take the hint. I almost walked out without the headphones but it I needed them for a present. Service was rude and pushy for something I didn’t even ask about. I won’t be back since this isn’t the first time I’ve had this experience in this location.

Never have I been more happy to change a review. For the better? You bet! Light years ahead. When I changed my mobile carrier, I went to The Source this time, we were acknowledged and that was just the beginning of a very satisfactory customer experience. As a high touch, low tech person, all my questions were patiently answered and the all people were great. Infact, the experience was so good, I brought my sister over to the dark side as well. For my older friend Flo, Rosa bent over backwards to help her. The gender balance is a critical change in how I was treated whilst shopping while female. good job!

Can't thank these guys enough for helping me replace a lost iphone, Greg and Rosa offered some of the best customer service I have ever received they were absolutely amazing at explaining new phones and plans and making sure I got the perfect one. Very knowledgeable, patient and friendly staff who totally turned my day around! You guys rock, I would defiantly be back.

Hi, my name is Ron and I am 67 yrs old and have a brain injury that causes me to have problems figuring things out most of the time, so I felt compelled to give the highest praise to Nicole for spending 15 minutes on the phone with me, listening carefully to my electronic needs and going through several models with me on-line, and then ultimately finding me exactly what I need to help enjoy life just a little bit more, if Nicole isn't a manager, she sure should be one !!!!

I was so lost when I walked into the Source, trying to figure out how to buy a new phone. Taio and Patricia saved me from my existential confusion and hooked me up with a bomb deal! They were super friendly and knowledgeable. I really had the sense that they wanted the best for me. Highly recommend this place! Go here if you're looking for the best deal on phones and plans!

Usually a decent place & helpful staff but twice I've gone in there and witnessed inappropriate staff interactions. Last week I saw one mgr... Dan (?) telling another employee that they didnt need to listen to the big mgr (Rosie?) because he basically was in charge and that he could do something she said wasn't allowed. Fine but dont ignore your customers to start a coup... we got places to be folks!! The ladies that work in there are really nice but when its the boys club half the time you gotta go knock on the back door to get help. Not exactly making the customer feel welcome.

One specific person, I forget his name has far exceeded expectations and been extremely helpful and thorough with helping me upgrade my phone and also with other purchases. Overall every person at Nelson's The Source seem to do their job very well. Will ve shopping there more often.

Nathan is a gem. He went above and beyond. He even went and grabbed the glasses of his managers fat head. ( her words not mine) they let me try her bose glasses to see if it's the right size as bose doesnt have a return policy on that particular product. Nathan also helped me save 85 per month for the next 14 months. Boo yea baby
This place is terrible! The Manager (Rosa) is condascending and this place needs an employee overhaul. Sold me defective, overpriced printer cartridges, and would not refund money/replace! Take your business elsewhere!

The issues had nothing to do with their store, or the products. We can't thank them enough. They are awesome!
